If you accept Anselm's ontological argument then you accept universal atonement.
Ontological argument is along the lines of:
>1 There is a hypothetical perfect being in the mind we call God
>2 it is more perfect for God to be real than only in the mind
>3 Therefore God is real
This reasoning can be applied to Christian salvation:
>1 It's hypothetically possible that God's death, burial and resurrection saves everyone
>2 What God did on the cross is a hypothetical perfect sacrifice justifying premise 1
>2.5 what is perfect is not only hypothetical, it is realized
>3 Therefore what God did is a realized perfect sacrifice guaranteeing premise 1
God did what Adam was incapable of.

tldr; morality is not only eternal, it's optimistic

why'd you post a picture of a pedophile?
>>
>God doesn't send child murderers to hell
>God doesn't send child murderers to hell forever
Forget your syllogism or whatever, nerd. These are the 2 issues you must address in addition to your fancy formula. But you know that makes you vulnerable to criticism and demands for evidence, don't you?

A hypothetical perfect being would never make a pact with a desert tribe mandating them to mutilate children's penises
>>
>>535595317
Then it would've been super perfect to do it without doing all of that other shit
>>
>>535595317
what if I reject the argument but still believe in universal atonement?

>it is more perfect for God to be real than only in the mind
What does "more perfect" mean and how is it different aside from changing one metaphysical platform to another?
>>
I've never been able to understand the leap from #2 to #3 any anything but the most idiotic logical jump in anything that's ever been considered a serious philosophical argument. What am I missing?

Hell is what salvation feels like to the devil and his tares. God's love is terrifying.
