I own a cottage on an acre in a tiny village next to a forest out on the middle of nowhere. My yard isn’t this like insane abandoned thing but I have let it grow up quite a lot. I have to trim fairly frequently in this time of year because we get that tall ass niggergrass that grows like 3 feet a week. Otherwise the lawns are kept mostly natural, going dormant(brown) during the dry seasons and turning green in the wet seasons. My grandpa had a nice piece of land before he died and I had to mow it for him every week or two because he was disabled. After he died i just let the daisies and wildflowers grow in the backyard with the tall grass and only mowed a path to the shed, an area around our fire logs, and some of the front yard. My retired boomer lawnfag neighbor had sod and sprinklers installed on his lawn. I took that opportunity to start neglecting mine even more. I let weeds and brush grow up to 6 or 7 feet until they're dangle over the fence into his pristine yard and he has to cut them. The vines from my yard crawl up the telephone poll, then along wires into his yard where they hang down.
