Almost every job in our economy provides nothing of tangible value to any human alive. A huge amount of our work isn't about providing a good or a service, but actually about preventing someone from accessing a good or service. Think about when you go to a doctor's office. Pretty much every person that you interact with in that place besides the doctor is there to act as a buffer between you and the doctor. If you work in an office with a "Project Manager," this person's job is to add a whole bunch of busy work to whatever it is you're already working on without actually adding anything of value to what you are working on. And the thing is, even if your job is providing something real, like being an in-house electrician, if the company that you work for just does meaningless bullshit, then by the transitive property this makes your job bullshit too. Now they're talking about AI taking human jobs. But that doesn't make any sense because so many of the jobs that they would be taking are bullshit jobs that don't actually do anything.
>>536725784Yes. This has been discussed at length. AI's impact in the economy is mostly in showing that the emperor has no clothes.
So why do we have all these bullshit daycare jobs when the infrastructure is falling apart all around us?
>>536725784>>But that doesn't make any sense because so many of the jobs that they would be taking are bullshit jobs that don't actually do anything.actually that makes perfect sense.if the jobs serve nothing of value to provide service to others then the job should not exist so what are you talking about?
>>536725784Merit is also bullshit. Very few people in the working world are where they are based on things like merit. Most people are where they are simply because of how long they've been around. People who just arrived are entry level. People who get into entry level and then never leave become middle management. This is why so many managers are bad at their jobs. Because many of them never trained to be managers, have no managerial education, aren't natural leaders, and are accountability avoidant. Most of them are just people who stayed in a role so long that their bosses had little choice but to promote them. Hence they "rise to the level of their incompetence." This is why so many young people feel like their bosses are stupid, because they quite literally are stupid.
>>536726423I'm saying replacing a human doing a bullshit job that shouldn't exist with a robot doing a bullshit job that shouldn't exist is bizarre. It isn't an improvement. And now you have these companies who are saying, >Hey we're spending a lot of money on these tokens. Have we considered starting up our own AI? Which is akin to proposing >Hey gas is really expensive these days. Maybe I should open up my own oil rig and refinery? And keep in mind it's to do something that you shouldn't have even been doing to begin with.
>>536725784How do companies afford to spend so much money paying people to provide no value?Doesn't make sense.
>>536725784now mention how many private corporations are actually fully gov controlled
>>536727700>moneylol, lmao even. They give you paper currency which can be printed in virtually unlimited quantities for absolutely no effort. They can print how much of it them want, it has no value to them, only a retarded employim believes it's valuable "because he worked for it" lmao.If they really used money (physical silver coins) the globohomo would go bankrupt in less than a day.
>>536727424>>I'm saying replacing a human doing a bullshit job that shouldn't exist with a robot doing a bullshit job that shouldn't exist is bizarre.not to me. if the persons job does nothing then the job should not exist. like those tech companies that have ping pong tables with nap rooms and yoga rooms. someone who does nothing of value should not be replaced with an app? why the fuck not?>>And keep in mind it's to do something that you shouldn't have even been doing to begin with.it keeps sounding like you have already answered your own question correctly but somehow do not realize it.
>>536728012Only the govt prints money, not all the others.
>>536725969So I was recently told about a situation where someone I work with was using an AI to automatically write and respond to emails. Another person in our company had a similar thing. At some point one of them emailed the other, and this triggered a looping situation where these two AI agents spoke with each other, each generating a response to the other in tandem, like two buttholes pooping back and forth into each other infinitely. The thing that it got me wondering was well, if no one reads the messages or even writes them, why does anyone send an email at all? Why do we use this technology? Some would say it's for accountability but since I can't tell if anyone is even reading or writing the message, who's accountable? And does anyone even care?
>>536728225Yes, the gov prints, the company receives what was printed to hand it out only to the good goys who do what the kikes want.
Work is evil and that's too bad I wish I had a guilt free good guy job like water purifier or smtng
>>536725784>99% of all work is bullshit
>>536728228Is is called CYA. You must be a neet.
>>536728183Let me try and rephrase this. Let's say you have a guy working at a barber shop, and his job is whenever a customer comes by, he takes a hammer and drives a nail through the tip of the customer's penis. >Why would you do that?>That's horrible. Who would agree to this?>It doesn't even have anything to do with cutting hair. There are a lot of executives right now who are looking at situations like the one I just described, and their take is:>We should have a browser extension that puts the nail through the customer's phallus instead.
>>536728228>))<>((Oldfag is old. Respecc.
>>536728719CYA doesn't apply if you aren't even writing or reading the messages. That's my point. And again CYA is another example of bullshit work. You're sending messages that nobody wants to read stating that you're doing work that you already did, and in most cases the work that you're doing isn't actually providing anything of value to anyone in the world. Attending meetings you don't pay attention to. Writing reports that nobody reads. Logging activity that nobody is tracking. Taking training for things that will never apply to you. It's bullshit busy work.
>>536728779>Let me try and rephrase this. Let's say you have a guy working at a barber shop, and his job is whenever a customer comes by, he takes a hammer and drives a nail through the tip of the customer's penis.okay that would be real bad but list some real-life example that is equivalent of the nail maniac at a barbershop.
>>536725784>Everything I'm too simple to understand isn't real.So what do you do for work?
ai gods still can't into polymorphic orthogonality>lol
>>536729283How long have you been out of workforce?
>>536728718"Professional services" in Virginia means glowniggers milking the taxpayer
>>536728718>99% of all work is bullshityep "healthcare" dominating, all of it's job growth came in as people who shuffle papers and fuck you out of money. It should be counted as negative GDP
>>536725784It is, and that's why the ((("education system"))) teaches a youth to be a drone / unpaid paper pusher / prisoner / cater dumping ground "doer" "go getter" from a young age... and then start out with nothing in early adulthood after all those mutually unbeneficial motions and Do-pidities of "do do Jew do do then do could do rilly Jew do do Jew dewwww?"... NoI say to them / those / most of you... Fuck you, you "do" you, and separations from Jews and Judeo NPCs, is probably the solution
I'm a slave driver, the pay isn't great, but after 30 years they'll erase my criminal record
>>536727700The larger an organization grows the less productive the individual members become. Or put differently that the cohort of people doing actual work gets relatively smaller than the whole body of employees. Price's Law states in a company with N number of employees, √N are responsible for 50% of the output. So in an office with 9 employees, 3 of them are producing half. In a place with 100 employees, only 10 people are producing half. 10k employees, only 100. If you apply this at a national scale, it would mean less than 20,000 Americans are responsible for 50% of the gross domestic output.

>>536725784some cunt on reddit with relationship problems let out that she makes $44/hr as a high school counselor with just a non-specialized bachelors degree.literally any normal person with a stable life could do that job. listening to kids whine about their problems and giving them a pat on the shoulder.not to mention the principals and school admin staff making six figures while pumping out kids who are far behind in skill (UC professors say kids are coming to class at middle school level).meanwhile actual producers make shit pay.The USA is dead. Too many shitty people have all the money and these people are pure scum who lied and bullshitted their way into high income jobs for that high income lifestyle and they don't give a FUCK about society or other people.
>>536732990>literally any normal person with a stable life could do that job. listening to kids whine about their problems and giving them a pat on the shoulder. The thing is it's kind of a bullshit job because 99% of the problems the school's guidance counselor hears about are problems created by the school itself. Most of the curriculum is meaningless bullshit that the children do not need to know, will not prepare them for the working world, and will have no bearing on their professional life ever. You know what I'm talking about if you graduated knowing what the mitochondria is but didn't understand what an HSA account is for.
>>536734051>>536732990The other thing is half of what a guidance counselor does is help kids pick and apply for college, which largely involves reviewing a mountain of bullshit promotional material about 100 schools that are all virtually identical in every way that matters. The college application process itself is an immense bullshit ritual where you are made to fill out the same repetitive information dozens of times. Most of the time whether you get accepted or rejected comes down to a single variable and has little to do with anything else you put on the application. I knew someone who worked in admissions and she literally admitted people based solely on whether they provided an attractive headshot. That's it. Point is even if you're doing something that seems valuable, it ceases to be valuable when it is in service of some other bullshit activity.

>>536725784It was the only compromise possible with the state. They weren't ever going to allow people to work at things like having a family and building their community and making their art and organizing politically while enjoying the fruits of the industrial economy, but they were OK with having most people do makework jobs to get access to the stuff.
