there's something completely humiliating from getting released by the WWE that you just can't get from other professions, even in other show business industries, being paid handsomely to do what you love in front of thousands, somethings tens of thousands is all over, and you now have no choice but to rely on wrestling in random bingo halls for ever decreasing pay as your brand loses its value over time, it might not be so bad for established names or respected legends as eventually they'll find stable work elsewhere, but if you're a shitter like Kross, you are pretty much doomed to see for yourself in real time to get more and more obscure and forgotten

Why would I seethe about it being real, a work or him getting rehired? I don't think you understand people can enjoy wrestling and things around wrestling passively too. I'm fine either way. I can accept that I have zero control of TKO's hiring practices at the end of the day

There's a webm of him throwing a female wrestler through a ceiling tile. This was a bad time for him to leave, because I don't think Tony is just taking any wrestler that leaves WWE anymore. I don't know why he even left.
>>
>>19107236
He bet on himself and lost
>>
>>19106802
He's a shitbag in a world of carnies. Even Vince couldn't get anything worthwhile out of him. If you want to simp for his slut wife go ahead but he's not a draw.
>>
>>19107236
It's not like Tony would take him either way with Don Callis in AEW. His wife quite literally falsely accused Don Callis of SA and risked ruining his life just to get out of her TNA contract.
>>
>>19107274
his wife is the one that said they would love to go there and would dedicate their lives to AEW if hired

so he makes youtube movies now?
>>

>>19107290
If this is true then she KWAB'd herself. There's no way either of them will get signed if she said that, unless Callis gets fired but he's too relevant to AEW stories. It's either TNA or sub-TNA indies.

I'm not sure why he left WWE if he wasn't planning to jump right to AEW. Unless he thinks he can pull a Cody and start an entire company, but good luck finding another mark with billions.
>>

i thought they didnt renew his contract

>>
>>19107782

>>

damn, she's gonna leave him now for sure lol what dumbass
>>
I remember watching his match live in person with AJ styles back in April. The guy had a great entrance, his hot girlfriend and then the bell rang . I just remember thinking to myself how ordinary he was and he was like every other pro wrestler in 2025. Nothing special and I think that’s death nowadays . Then that report dropped about him not wanting to bump and basically being dreadful in the ring .

I wanted to like this guy but really nothing of value was lost when he didn’t resign.

I want to know wtf was his thought process when he decided to kwab himself. Like, WWE own AAA and pretty much own TNA. You can't go to AEW since you have heat with Callis after Scarlett falsely accused him of rape to get out of both your TNA contracts. There's zero money wrestling in Japan. Also you're 40 years old. What leverage did you think you have in negotiating?
>>
>>19110939
He got "We want Kross" chants before they let him go so maybe he thought the fans would do that some more after his release and that he could use that to get back in the door and have more standing. Like how Truth did it
>>
>>19110939
Let me just ask you and all other detractors once again, I know its bad form to answer a question with a question but bare with me:
Do you sign continuations to your contract without having any developmental discussions with your management?
Do you just put your name on paper where the other party has umpteen ways to fire and let you go before the ink has even dried up without knowing what is expected of you for the contract period?
Do you just sign up to jobs without knowing if your household income would drop to half because it would possibly leave your wife unemployed also significantly changing your personal life and dynamic without a chance to discuss it with your better half?

If the answer is yes to any, you are dumber than Kross. The first question should glue you in that you are working a dead end job for someone's amusement or power game rather than mutual benefit, second one should clue you in that you aren't getting any significant financial security whether you sign or not, and the third one would ensure you are trapped into the contract and make things harder for your personal life.
If you don't recognize that signing blindly is the KWAB move, you are hopeless
>>
>>19112083
Tozawa is earning good money while fucking around in catering every week while Kross is forced to wrestle in run-down high school gyms just to keep his name out there
I'd say signing blindly is the correct move, especially if you're a charisma blackhole like Kross
>>
>>19112097
>he gets a paycheck so it's good you should settle for that
That's some 100% lowbrow lazy wagie talk with zero passion or goals in life.

God bless him but Tozawa will never be nothing more than a WWE speed champion - maybe someone will put him as a tag team champ out of spite but that it, Tozawa is a midget that barely speaks english there is not a single second of job security for him, he's not even on TV most of the year - if that's his peak and he content with that, that's his prerogative -
but you ain't Tozawa or Kross, you just flip burgers because the money is ok so what's your excuse?
>>
>>19112097
Good point. You gotta know your options. My options are a seasonal job doing overnight stock for a retail chain. My options are pure shit and I know that so I just keep working my current shit job.
>>
>>19112112
>Tozawa is a midget that barely speaks english there is not a single second of job security for him, he's not even on TV most of the year
Between Kross and Tozawa there's a wrestler who has been fired twice, guess which one is it? Hint: it isn't Tozawa.
Wanna know why? Because Tozawa knows his place. He tries to make every meme gimmick from the ninja to the fart nonsense work.
He doesn't have an unearned inflated delusions about where he should be on the card. He doesn't make the company sign his wife on a six figure salary for literally no purpose then try to negotiate when they tell her to fuck off as if he's a main event draw.
Kross has the look, yes, but absolutely nothing else. He's the modern version of that huge Nexus Batista guy.
>>
>>19108879
If she ever leaves him that'd be KWABOTY material
>>
>>19110939
He thought being popular on a wrestling podcast show mattered to anyone in the business.
>>
>>19112147
It's not worth trying to pound knowledge into someones head who doesn't even know the difference of being fired, released and letting contract expired.
You love mediocrity and complacency so much you probably own one of those little ant farms so you can watch hundreds of nondescript workers act busy in a never changing enviroments

He has an ego, which makes sense when you look at his career. He got pushed decently hard with a heckin badass gimmick. He (for a while) got away with having his wife lie about getting R'd or something. He got the NXT title really quick and even after getting injuried, then got it back. He got a fancy entrance and his wife a contract to do very little. His first KWABing he could blame on Vince.

Now he's worked himself into irrelevance but given how his career had been going, he thought he was hot shit because that's how he was always booked.
>>
>>19113466
Pre bogged Scarlett would seriously make me consider marrying a whore. She was something else back when she was on TNA.

>MY BOOK IS MY LIFE STORY. WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT DOESNT MATTER?

He tries to make it smarter than it needed to be with some Moby Dick comparison.

I dont mind this Docu-series. That film idea with The Righteous sounds interesting. This current project about the addict with the painting is just festival slop.

>>
>>19110939
While CM Punk is a gigantic fucking faggot and I wish he would break his neck, even I can acknowledge that he's a shrewd businessman who understands that WWE / TKO is not a wrestling fed, but a souless corpo ran by souless managerial class with no ties to the wrestling business, so he just does what he's told without complaint. This is something Karen never understood, because he still has the self-mark shindie mentality, and he bought into the idea that he's a made man, because Gaytch takes care for his Black & Gold kids, while in reality Gaytch has no power when it comes to business.
>>
>>19112112
kevin why are you shit talking your peer? Tozawa is better than you in every way
>>
The Scarlett situation is as stated by him in the video is that he previously signed with WWE and was told that Scarlett would follow and it never did.

Now this time, they wanted Scarlett signed first so that wouldnt happen. They believe had Kross signed they would have not renewed Scarletts contract.

Im not sure of the money hes looking for but Escobar just got 200k and what have you seen him do?
>>
>>19112112
>there is not a single second of job security for him
yet he still has a job
>>
>>19112083
You have to weigh the options and the scale was heavily against his favor. There's other avenues to go in WWE. He could've easily just done production or gone back to NXT. HHH liked him enough to hire him back, it's nonsense to think he wouldn't.

Fucking >>19113553 Phil, isn't even that dumb because he knew that Tony was such a weak bitch that WWE would see Punk's side and sign him back. And it's turned out great. He's checked out and in it for money, but he could go another 7+ years without working and probably makes more now than he did at his peak by doing signifianctly less.
>>
>>19106559
I hope he becomes a succesfull youtuber, dude earned the fame
>>
>>19113597
it might not be up to HHH. And I like Kross but if we are being real, there are cheaper alternatives. Aliester Black and Zelina Vega being the obvious, bot spooky mid card husband wife duo.

If Kross wanted to be backstage he would be. The price to keep both talents dont line up with what they have going on. They sell shirts because of the "We Want Kross" movement but moving a sub 100K shirts aint gonna do it for WWE.

Its like RTruth all over again, how many Truth chants you hear now? Whats he doin outside of a Cena segment 2 months ago?
>>
>>19112112
>barely speaks english
tozawa speaks the best english of any japanese wrestler in WWE by a large margin, probably of any japanese wrestler in any north american wrestling company frankly.
also him and otis should 100% get runs as tag champs, alpha academy is over as fuck it's a classic fumble by pauletty here.
i don't blame kross for wanting more and not just accepting a mark contract but realistically the mark contract was the best he was going to get and i doubt WWE is going to come crawling back.
it is interesting to compare kross' decision with that of santos escobar. kross tried/is trying to bigtime WWE and failed, santos did and got whatever he wanted apparently, enough to sign back with the company after declining two offers and letting his contract expire.

Why doesn't Scarlett just prove her worth by wrestling? The vibe I get is Kross and Scarlett want WWE to pay Scarlett six figures to just stand there which is retarded and delusional.
>>
>>19115965
She said she's willing to wrestle. Problem is theres no room for her in the division and can she earn the contract? There are plenty who already dont.

>Tony would have probably hired him so keeps him from AEW (definitely wouldn't hire Kross because Kross can't wrestle)
>Not begging for his useless wife to get a contract too (KWAB)
>Father is the head of lucha libre in Mexico (good connection to have)

There are honestly a lot of reasons WWE would want to keep Santos around, Kross not so much

Pre-bog Scarlett was exceptionally mid. This is one of the cases where plastic surgery took a 6 and turned her into a solid 8-9. Well, when she was younger anyway.
