Everyone starts somewhere. You only get better in the ring by being in the ring. No one in that crowd was expecting a banger because it's an opening match. The company is small and can't afford to not be putting its rookies to work. This is an equivalent of a wrestling school having its students put on a show.
Not all wrestling is as polished as what you see in WWE, AEW, or New Japan. Most wrestling fans don't appreciate the amount of experience it takes to be even a lower level guy in those companies - they make it look easy but every single one of them did exactly what these two are doing at one point in their careers.

No one should watch Marigold expecting to see the best wrestling. No one claims it's that. I look at it more as Wrestling School: The Promotion. Utami and Mayu aside, most of these are developing workers. Some of them will get there someday, and it might be the ones who surprise you the most.
