Goldberg is a joke and goof and WCW's greatest failure. The heavy investment made into him for his streak buried the entire roster for one big pay off. Beating Hogan, which any wrestler can get, as seen with Piper, Luger, Sting, Macho Man and everyone else at the time, since he was so over and so hated. No need to make a guy kill the deepest roster in wrestler, making Hening, Hall, DDP, Raven, Sting, and Hogan look like goofs, just to give a push for someone who can't main event, can't promo, can't wrestle, and can't draw because he can't do those 3 things necessary TO DO IT! He drove Jericho off to WWE. Injured a bunch of people, ended Hart's career when he was finally getting his steam back. they really needed sting in the fallout of the finger poke. everything was pretty ok they just didn't follow the finger poke properly, the nwo disbanded, the logo and set changed, and mid-late 99 was some of the most boring booking ever compared to WWF at the time. somehow the fingerpoke led to ric flair wrestling hogan for the title. when you have wwf going berserk on the other channel with the ministry, the rock, the corporation, Austin, mankind, it wasn't good enough. I remember nwo elite doing a beat down on somebody after the finger poke and the fans were chanting "we want sting" but he wasn't there. he was injured or being a crackhead or something. and they had goldberg fucking around doing very little. they had no follow-up to the poke and goldberg's streak ending. that was the actual issue. It should have been goldberg and sting teaming up vs nwo elite or something. they could have used warrior too

Eric/Hogan and most of the main execs were worried about warrior because of his pissy attitude.

Remember he demanded more money from wwf for a comic he literally had no involvement in.
He threatened to no show a main event unless he was given more money.
He ignored being told to stop taking steroids because they were being monitored.
He had previously had several backstage fights/arguments with other wrestlers.
He refused to wrestle certain guys because he just didnt want to.
Refused to do matches longer than 14 minutes and if he HAD to he would complain.
Argued with vince over money on merchandise and even threatened to sue.

Warrior was a massive cunt to practically everyone. He was paid 1 million for 11 shows in wcw and they wanted to see things went from there.
The mirror stunt had Eric cracking up and breaking character which would of won him some points. He also had some photos of him backstage with other wcw talent because people were expecting him to stay.

However its warrior. If he was paid 1 million for 11 shows for less than 14 minutes work then he was expecting that for another 11 shows.
His tag match with sting showed he couldnt be bothered putting any effort in. He doesn't even take off his robe the entire match
