The "feeling" that the remaining AEW fans hope to restore was actually just Tony signing wrestlers and debuting them every week.At no point in its history has AEW ever presented compelling stories to convince people to keep watching.
>>19422620Well, that about sums it up folks. This should be inscribed on AEW’s tombstone.
>>19422620Big Bill pulled a brick out of his backpack during a brawl. I think about that moment very often so for me this is the feeling in need of restoration.
>>19422620SNEEDSONS!!!!
>>19422620Peak AEW was just the random chaos they started with and ended when they beat NXT and Tony bought all the NXT shitters he wished he had to begin with. There is no going back.
>>19422620"The feeling" was more than that. The debuts were a big part of it but there was also so much excitement and optimism for AEW's future. The good will surrounding the tranny rodeo was overwhelming and people let mistakes slide because they just assumed Tony would work out the kinks. It seemed like AEW was on top of the fucking world and it was only a matter of time before they overtook WWE as senile Vince ran it into the ground. That's the feeling AEWtists want to return to. But they can never go back to those halcyon days because unfortunately it turns out Tony is a retarded failson and over the course of 6 years he ruined his own company beyond any hope of repair.
AEW's best potential story has always been Darby focusing on his development in order to win the title against a good heelBut he went to Everest after getting the rub from Sting so Tony put the belt on Dimeless Tranny Page and killed the company.
>>19422620It's called a honeymoon period and could only come from Tony and the Young Cucks completely stepping away from any involvement in the company especially creatively/booking
>>19422620This. It was always "OMG WHAT WWE STAR WILL WE GET NEXT?!?". Their first real show's big moments are a WWE guy becoming their first world champion and a top WWE guy debuting lmaoTheir biggest moment is Punk's return, and another one of their biggest moments is Sting's debut, and another one of their biggest moments is Adam Cole's debut, which was immediately overshadowed by Danielson's debut, etc. etc.Joke of a company
>>19422620>At no point in its history has AEW ever presented compelling stories to convince people to keep watching.idk the mjf punk feud was pretty good
>>19422620Correct. AEW was never actually good. It was just surprise debut hype.
Death Riders kino > Coconut slop
>>19423365>the dickriders lose to coconut community theater>that's how you know the dickriders are goodAEWtists are retarded
>>19423365Moxley could be good with someone helping to filter out some of the retarded shit he does but the rest of the death riders are the biggest anti-draw shitters in the game and there is no way any one could pretend otherwise.
>>19422620>I wrestle good, you wrestle good, let's have a mtch>are we friends?actually they have 2 story lines
>>19422620You made a great point. Unfortunately you used a Reddit/simpsons picture to convey it. Get a clue, anon.
>>19423514I agree, Simpsons is kind of... dumb? I don't want to sound like 'that guy' but Bojack or early Rick and Morty tend to feel a lot more real, less collections of slapstick.
>>19423522it's not that you sound like 'that guy', it's that you sound like a complete faggot. What the entire fuck is a Bojack, I'm not googling that
>>19423522Kek nice bait
>>19423466What?
>>19423573I said AEWtists are retarded
>>19423514>being this new
>>19423674Is Milhouse a meme?
>>19423695He certainly isn't
>>19422620Agree with the sentiment but it's factually untrue, there are few exceptions like MJF v Punk, some of what Jericho was trying to do, MJF homo run with Cole, Wardlows rise - you may form your own opinions how they were handled and how they paid of but an attempt was made.
>>19422620I remember liking the first All In. The freak show one with no AEW affiliation.
>>19423549Thank you, I was putting in effort
Nah, you should consider this instead
>>19423007Pretty much this. The honeymoon phase is over and there's no going back short of Tony handing everything over to someone else and then a second honeymoon period might start like when Vince stepped down and Triple H took over.
>>19423978I was thinking about this and wondering how I would book AEW to get me to watch again. To be honest, I think that the AEW brand is so tainted at this point there is no saving it.
>>19423970over a year later and no rebuttal
>>19422620All facts
>>19423007The honeymoon period ending really coincided with all the Punk drama which was disastrous for AEW. Ever since they've tried to promise fans that each year would be 2021 again.
