As I was waiting for the elevator at the station to arrive, the girl next to me seemed to take a picture of me and then ran off. I'm not sure what that was about.

Have you been taking afternoon naps? Sometimes when we're making lots of decisions we need to rest.
>In a scale of 1 to 10 how suspicious did she looked?
Had she not run off after waiting in line for the last couple of minutes I would have assumed it was just my imagination. But she definitely had her phone at an angle you'd only use if photographing something.
>I mean.. you're literally a shiny pokemon in hong kong eiki idk
I don't think the odds are /that/ low, especially at the university. That said, I'm also surprised when I see someone who isn't Chinese here.

I tend not to pay any attention to people I'm in a queue with. Long, black hair but that's describing almost every girl here. I assume she was a student.

Having a shower in summer is awful, cleaning and refreshing yourself only to sweat again the moment you are done.

I imagine you, or a western person in general, is rather unusual in those parts. I've read somewhere that japanese people associate western people to americans and they still have memories of the WW2, for example.
Also, I've read you are doing projects about AI transparency. Would you like to share a bit of that if it's possible/allowed? I happen to be following this train for 'some' time, not exactly in depth but still to a degree where some things are not exactly unfamiliar.

>I imagine you, or a western person in general, is rather unusual in those parts.
That's true. But a not insignificant amount of the lecturers are westerners. That said, almost no one has shaggy hair here, so that might be why. I would assume westerners are more associated with the British, being basically the last colony we had.

>Would you like to share a bit of that if it's possible/allowed?
Sure. I've only done research on the EU's recent AI Act.
The short version is that AI has some classifications: high risk and general purpose. High-risk applies when it's part of a safety system or making decisions on behalf of someone (e.g., hiring or university admissions). General purpose basically just means really sophisticated models that require a lot of compute power. It's a classification that exists to regulate the like 4 major AI companies that exist.
High risk AI has certain disclosure requirements to people looking to buy the model to put in their own products (as opposed to end users) that amounts to writing a good technical manual.
General purpose models are subjected to similar requirements, but for the EU's AI office and domestic equivalents.
There's also requirements to tell users they're interacting with AI or seeing the product of generative AI.
If you want to read the regulation yourself it's Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (should be available in Italian on EUR-Lex). Article 13 for the high-risk requirements, Article 53 for the general purpose requirements, and Article 50 for the generative AI/chatbot stuff.
I could probably send a copy of the draft I wrote if you're interested. I don't think I'd have any issues sharing that privately.

then she maybe did! awwwwwww aiki has a creepy chinese woman taking non consensual pictures of him lmao. not but for real, i think in asia unsolicited pictures are a huge problem so stay safe
>But she definitely had her phone at an angle you'd only use if photographing something.
are you by any chance, blonde? or/and pale af? cause that's maybe a huge reason for that happening
>That said, I'm also surprised when I see someone who isn't Chinese here.
maybe she just found you cute idk. you said you were skinny and not very tall (i think) so idk, women act like they're alien to sexual desire, but they're not. maybe that's proof or that? or i'm schizoing like always? maybe eiki is irresistible? idk, i hope it wasn't uncomfortable for you tho. but considering we're in 4chan it probably wasn't.. but idk, you tell me

Just make sure to set an alarm for 20/30/90 minutes. You'll generally feel worse if you're out for more than 30 since you'll wake up mid-sleep cycle (what are ~90 minutes).
>i think in asia unsolicited pictures are a huge problem so stay safe
I'm not too worried about my safety. I'm more confused than anything, mostly because she'd have to queue for the elevator again and that takes like 5 minutes in rush hour. That's punishment enough if she did it.
>are you by any chance, blonde? or/and pale af?
Just very pale with curly hair. Everyone has really straight hair here so might be one reason.

i've heard that before, i'll try it for sure!
>That's punishment enough if she did it.
for you or for her? that sounds hell for both lmao
>Just very pale with curly hair. Everyone has really straight hair here so might be one reason
i think i've only seen like 8 people on my life that have curly hair, or do you mean wavy? idk, asains do seem to have really straight hair, they look cute on it tho!!

uhhh and also before i forger, i listened to the whole album that we talked the other day, it was pretty good! i liked 'The Sounds Of Science' (middle par on wards) and 'Shake Your Rump' the most, my only critique with the album is that is a bit repetitive, but i'm afraid that you can't do much with the genre of rap without sounding like literally anything else other than rap. (also when 5-Piece Chicken Dinner played i fucking died)

aannnddd talking of albums that are a bit repetitive but sound nice. i recommend pink moon if you have time, and you haven't listened to it already. 'place to be' and 'from the morning' are good starts if you're not convinced by the opening song, which i doubt cause it's fucking amazing

anndddd lastly, i love that pic, everything looks so seren., maybe uk countryside? idk winnie the pooh is as close as i've got to see the uk countryside xd

now i'm actually going for a sweet, sweet nap, i hope you and everyone else have a nice rest of day or night or whatever lmao

>I've only done research on the EU's recent AI Act
Hmmm, so it's that. Yeah I've read about it at that time, if I remember correctly the high risk portion also included public surveillance and social scoring, I think the EU completely disallows that kind of use for AI systems. I wonder what kind of manuals it means though but it's easy to assume something about misuse, which the bar for this definition is still too low in my opinion.
>There's also requirements to tell users they're interacting with AI or seeing the product of generative AI.
This should be the bare minimum, though I don't think many people fully realize that--or are fairly educated on the matter. Yes, I'm rather cynical towards AI companies.

For her. Thankfully I walk home most days but from 5-9pm the queue for the MTR lifts at some entrances can go on for hundreds of people. Most countries would not have the discipline for that.
>do you mean wavy?
Once it's long enough I start getting ringlets
>it was pretty good!
Glad you enjoyed it!
>i liked 'The Sounds Of Science' (middle par on wards) and 'Shake Your Rump' the most
Those are probably my favourites too. Car Thief and A Year And A Day as well.
Sound of Science would be one of the most expensive songs to produce today with all the Beatles samples. The album was made when samples were cheap because no one bothered doing it, but they became really expensive to clear them after Biz Markie lost his lawsuit for using Alone Again without permission.
>you can't do much with the genre of rap without sounding like literally anything else other than rap
I get what you mean. I like this album a lot because it's about as creative as you can get with the format. That and the lyrics are really stupid and the whole album is kind of a big joke.

That's explicitly disallowed, rather than also being high-risk. You get fined a lot if they catch you selling/using it but not exporting it outside the EU

>>79606778
>what's getting installed first?
Don't know, I mostly pushed my brother because we only had about 100GB available and installing something would mean making a trade. Now that the digital space issue is gone, I only need an external storage for backups--I don't want to lose some of my files and the only external storage I have bricks the computer the moment I plug it in, which I can only solve by force reboot.
>>79606926
>spoiler
Uh, so nothing has passed yet outside of the EU on that matter? Suspicious. In America they are more worried about LLMs generating wrong-thinking, major culprits are OpenAI and its former branch Anthropic.
>Mostly the kind of data the model is trained on, the kind of inputs it needs, common errors, where human oversight might be warranted, etc.
It still feels rather shady in my opinion, because almost no one knows how LLMs work outside of developers (not even them at times) and those who actively make use of them, and so far I've noticed AI companies spreading misinformation and fearmongering. Especially OpenAI.
>>
>>79608043
>I only need an external storage for backups
A good temporary solution might be something like Google drive with rclone's encryption option. It takes a bit to set up but you can use cloud storage without worrying about your files being snooped on, since they're encrypted on your end as they're uploaded. I did that with whole drive images before moving since I didn't want airport security going through my hard drives.
>so nothing has passed yet outside of the EU on that matter?
I believe California has passed some AI laws as well, but I've not looked into them. Once the EU passes regulations other countries tend to just copy them.
>because almost no one knows how LLMs work outside of developers (not even them at times) and those who actively make use of them
I think asking for transparency for neural networks is a wasted effort because basically no one can understand how a given NN works, despite it being straightforward enough in theory. Knowing things like neuron weighting is basically useless. The only useful transparency, to me, seems to be with disclosing the dataset.

>Once the EU passes regulations other countries tend to just copy them.
At least it's nothing major and only applies when the AI is supposed to be the substitute, which I agree with. I don't think AIs should be purposed in law, public security and armaments (so far).
>I think asking for transparency for neural networks is a wasted effort
The basic function of an LLM is that it gives what you ask, but there are some..."mechanisms", the best way I can put it as, that can prevent some misuses. However, doing so severely deteriorates a model's performance (osmosis knowledge but proved).
>The only useful transparency, to me, seems to be with disclosing the dataset.
My concerns are about models' alignments, social impact and the lack of transparency about some models being only available to governments and military.

>Can they even do that at the airport?
Some nations do it. I didn't want to risk it.
>I don't think AIs should be purposed in law, public security and armaments (so far).
AI is used in document discovery (sifting through paperwork to see what's relevant to a case, basically) by law firms, but I don't think we'll ever see judges use it.
>but there are some..."mechanisms", the best way I can put it as, that can prevent some misuses
My understanding is that when that happens there's usually a second model that reads the output of the first one and then overrides it.
>models' alignments
This should just be what it's trained on. My data science lecturer stresses that models aren't inherently bias - it's just complex maths on a bunch of vectors - but what that model is trained on absolutely can be. That's why transparency should focus on the training/test data.
>social impact
That would be good to be transparent, but I'm not really sure how you'd quantify it. Besides saying a model could X amount of man hours in Y amount of time.
>models being only available to governments and military
That's fair. Government/military applications are less likely to use generative AI like language and more likely to use classifiers. The Dutch tax authority used one to apportion welfare and it went so badly that a bunch of people ended up becoming homeless and put into foster care.

League of Legends ARAM mode lmao, it's basically a casual mode which I like to play when I don't want to think too much. I used to play ranked and take the game a bit more seriously, but I stopped a bit after realizing I was getting to emotionally involved (it's just a stupid game, after all). I also prefer to use my brain power in other things, so I only play that game now when there is nothing else to do and I just want to stop thinking for a bit. I still would like to find a different game to try when I don't wanna use my brain much though.

I think I played that a couple of times about 10 years ago. I usually picked Annie from what I remember.
I could never really get into mobas since the rounds go on for such a long time which means everyone invariably gets really angry because it's such a big time investment.
Heroes of the Storm seemed like a good alternative to that with rounds that only last about 15 minutes and some really creative characters but basically nobody played it.

That's usually Master Duel or RuneScape for me. But I wouldn't recommend playing either.

>AI is used in document discovery
Feeding the model with a document and then making the parsing through user prompting, and hope the system prompt works on the case. I see. In that case there might be coherency issues relative to memory deterioration, that of course depends on the model's capabilities. Claude, currently, has almost 100% accuracy across its memory size but only in theory.
>but I don't think we'll ever see judges use it.
The only people I could see using generative AIs are coders and programmers, other than them a person is still far more suitable, like for example counseling or medicine. Asking an AI for medical info is the same as browsing the internet, with much smaller insight.
>there's usually a second model
Hmmm, might depend on the platform and the company. I think some platforms have additional safety guards, so there might be a second model reading requests/context, while models do have built-in mechanisms. Also each model seems to have (has, actually) a duplicate with different sets of limitations impacting the performances. Can't share more than this in the open and I have a few "agreements" to respect.
>This should just be what it's trained on.
Yes but not entirely, model's weight and RLHF also impact the kind of output it yields, and the dataset can be manipulated as well. The ideal LLM is a fully capable but neutral one.
>but I'm not really sure how you'd quantify it
Less educated people, and/or with less critical thinking, tend to believe more whatever you feed them without questioning. Having a biased LLM that can yield any kind of belief you want, and make it available to them, seems like a recipe for indoctrination in my eyes. Also paired with companies' fearmongering.
>it went so badly
Heh, and people want to believe they are going to see Skynet the next year. Amusing.

>Feeding the model with a document and then making the parsing through user prompting, and hope the system prompt works on the case. I see.
Not quite. You wouldn't use a language model for discovery, you'd use a classifier. Basically you feed it tens of thousands of documents sent to you from the client and opposing counsel and give it some criteria to sort the documents into relevant and non-relevant.
Incidentally, this is the programming task for my data science course.
>Claude, currently, has almost 100% accuracy across its memory size but only in theory.
Accuracy is a misleading metric. If I've got a bag with 95 red beans and 5 blue beans, a model that predicts that I take out a red bean every time has a 95% accuracy. Precision and recall are far more useful metrics because they account for false positives and false negatives. An accuracy of 100% could also indicate overfitting.
>like for example counseling or medicine. Asking an AI for medical info is the same as browsing the internet, with much smaller insight.
AI has made pretty big advances in materials science, coming up with new chemical compounds, and predicting how proteins fold. Granted, this isn't what you typically think of with generative AI, but it does some useful stuff that humans find very difficult.
>model's weight and RLHF also impact the kind of output it yields
True, but weighting is optimised by in training to reduce loss. People will set the starting values but they're basically arbitrary, as are the equations they're associated with. You can play around with this on https://playground.tensorflow.org/
RLHF is more or less an extension of the training data.
>Having a biased LLM that can yield any kind of belief you want, and make it available to them, seems like a recipe for indoctrination in my eyes
Sure, but you could just whip up some headlines in MS paint and people will believe them just because they want to. You don't need an AI for that and it works just as well.

Isometric/top-down souls-like game. There are only bosses in this game though and there are no levels but after beating each boss you gain skills and shards to upgrade your character.

It's an alright game, the bosses are pretty hard to beat, even more to beat with no damage. But this is not even close to the quality of Dark Souls games, not even close, just a short game for people that like Souls-like bosses.

I particularly find Salt and Sanctuary way better and way more Souls-like, great game

>Basically you feed it tens of thousands of documents sent to you from the client and opposing counsel and give it some criteria to sort the documents into relevant and non-relevant.
I'm not sure I catch that but I guess the way I fidgeted with LLMs is somewhat narrow.
>Precision and recall are far more useful metrics
Must be an ESL choice of words on my part but that is more or less what I meant, the model might recall a string of data or a value incorrectly depending on its capabilities. Based on what I've read from some documentations, it also depends on the values you give to the LLM because the contextual understanding can be modulated.
>Granted, this isn't what you typically think of with generative AI
Perhaps. I used it for some psychological evaluations and small questions, anything more is confidential. I wonder how,
>coming up with new chemical compounds
>predicting how proteins fold
happened though.
Hmmm, I'm not sure if we are talking about the same things though, I meant more generative AIs. I don't quite have other kinds in mind at this moment.

>I'm not sure I catch that
Classifiers aren't large language models, which might be where the confusion is coming from. They don't generate text, rather they categorise a given input into a group. Like training a model to sort between images of cats and dogs.
>Must be an ESL choice of words on my part but that is more or less what I meant
Accuracy, precision, and recall are all terms of art, so they have slightly different meanings than ordinary usage.
>it also depends on the values you give to the LLM because the contextual understanding can be modulated
Models don't understand context or the meaning of words, at least not in a human sense. Rather they're represented by a huge amount of vectors with hundreds of dimensions. Then it does some maths stuff that somehow manages to find patterns in training data. It's crazy that this works at all.
>I wonder how, coming up with new chemical compounds, predicting how proteins fold happened though.
You feed a model a bunch of examples from a data set. Part of that dataset is used to test, and the rest gets used for training. Because we're working with vectors, a neural network basically tries to come up with a set of functions that try their best to map an input to an output. It does this by looking at the training data, coming up with a set of functions that seem to apply to the whole set (like f(x) = 3x+7, but much more complicated), seeing how well that works for inputs it's not trained on (the test data) by looking at how far off the functions it came up with are from the expected output and adjusting the formulas and weight in an attempt to get closer next time. Once a model's been trained enough you can give it new inputs and see what it spits out. This is basically how machine learning works - or it would be if I explained that better.
Anyway, the important part here is getting the right training data for the job.

I see, so yes I was indeed misunderstanding the subject here.
>Models don't understand context or the meaning of words, at least not in a human sense.
They don't but there are, from my understanding, various engines inside the models that process input and data in different ways. Human input > conversion human-to-machine language > processing > conversion machine-to-human language > output, in a very simplified way. The technological process inside is indeed crazy.
What I meant there was more on the surface, user-machine interaction. Different prompts deliver different results on the same task, which is pretty much the very basis of LLMs use.
This technology as a whole, even if I'm not tech savvy, is interesting, I wonder how far it will go and I hope many of the worries people have now will be left behind.

>Human input > conversion human-to-machine language > processing > conversion machine-to-human language > output, in a very simplified way.
That's more or less how they work, yes. But I'll be pedantic and say it's less a language (in a natural or programming sense) and more a set of numbers used as inputs.
>I wonder how far it will go and I hope many of the worries people have now will be left behind.
We'll figure out a way to live with it, just as we figured out how to live with nuclear weapons. The big concern is blindly trusting whatever output is given. They should be given at least as much scepticism as you would a person doing the same task, because most things are ultimately trained on people.
AI used in hiring is bias because HR is bias.

I don't even watch vtubers, but I am very happy that I had fun with my friend (who does watch vtubers). Now I am just taking it easy in my room. also, crane/claw games are not as hard as I thought! or maybe my friend is just good at them.

my fren is really good at maimai!! we'd go often together and play a lot of games together. i tried to practice a bit too, but, going alone feels really bad so i haven't been much since they started being really busy... i've played some others like chuni/taiko/etc, but maimai with a fren is just the best.

good morning dudes, I ended up shaving my sideburns before going to the bar yesterday. sadly no woman complimented me, nor talked to me (actually there weren't women at all to the bar I've gone to) but at least a dude complimented my hair which I guess it's nice

I was thinking about starting to post with an avatar in this thread only, how would that fare for me? never avatarfagged before and Idrc about it unless it's obnoxious but it makes it easier on threads like this one.

I would use Jill since it's the one I use everywhere

oh no, transferring all your phone data is always a nightmare..

>mayooom
>how much do u love ur fren???
d-don't tease about that... love is a very strong, heavy emotion, and to love someone is to cross a threshold that changes your dynamic with them forever. you can't love carelessly or feelings might end up hurt if you take the wrong actions. and it's not healthy to love someone that may not give love back to you either.

we only meet up for a couple hours about once a month now and i only hear from them once every 10-14~ days... so i don't think they'd want love from me, either. they are busy with life and other such things after all, and i don't want to risk or complicate our frenship, as our times together were really fun and i don't want that to stop. you can very easily push people away by being too needy for their attention. i think i've done some of that already, so i'm trying to wait patiently and give them more space.

>The big concern is blindly trusting whatever output is given. They should be given at least as much scepticism as you would a person doing the same task, because most things are ultimately trained on people.
That is true. I remember the big fiasco with Google's image generation--I think it was with Bard--which made the model portraying black and chinese german WW2 soldiers, or not historically accurate depictions anyway, because it had inclusivity biases. That alone should've raised obvious suspicions on how these technologies are being handled and advertised. Regardless, as much as they are trained on people, they are also trained by people, some ideas are reinforced without doubt.

>gimme a quick rundown about jill!
I mean... I haven't finished Va-11 Hall-a yet... I have just played a bit of it and gotten to christmas, but I thought it be funny if instead I waited and started playing again in real time, so one night in game every day, with the correct date as well. no particular reason

also, I started using Jill as a pfp before I even knew her name, years ago someone posted >>79625759 picrel in a thread on /b/ and I liked it, yoinked it and that was it. people over the years commented on my pfp and this summer I got the game on steam during sales. she seems cool af, apparently a lesbian as well, which is good because it means that if I use it I also like women

but really, I just like the "vibes"... since I played the game I started trying some alcohol, and I want to try making some drinks myself. right now I want to learn how to make a long island, then probably a mojito. but I don't have anything to mix and prepare drinks, and looking online the ones they all recommend on reddit and stuff seemingly exist in america and just the cups (I think they are called tins?) that everyone recommends, the Koriko's, are gonna set me back 80, of which 50 are delivery... my dreams of drinks are getting further and further away...

anyway... I'm sorry to say I haven't studyied today. I had a couple of free hours and I ended up finishing resident evil 5. I will now take a shower and go to bed early I think. tomorrow I have to take the train early and meet a guy in Milan before going to uni so I need to take the train an hour earlier :/ if you see me posting in the thread again before tomorrow scold me cause I should be sleeping

anime and otaku culture is very big in HK in general, and the client base is easily 50/50 split. there's a lot more women around to interact with.

>I'm not sure if I want to stay here or go back home
moving can open a lot of doors. but every door you open is another door you close. follow your kokoro.. it's not an easy decision.

>there's one poster in particular i'd like 2 see return. Alas, i can't force him 2 do so if he doesn't want to...
any other posters in mind that you miss in particular?

>ur fren clearly makes u really happy and i love seeing u yap about whatever makes u happy anon
of course they make me happy, but i can't overstep things you know? it's unfair for me to lay my happiness as something they have to be responsible for or take into consideration. i want to have fun with them, and i want them to have fun with me. even if it's just silly yaps over food or going to an arcade or something, i want to keep making new memories, rather than living in the shadow of the old. but it's not easy to be someone that others will want to spend time with either, yeah? you just have to try your best and be patient. i trust them to tell me directly otherwise...

i bet everyone else probably thinks i'm silly yapping about this so much, and only you are really kinda interested in it...

but there were still no signs!!! at all. everyone else agrees.

Is secret :3
I have like a year to go... one long year.
>>
Instead of sleeping I stayed up all night to get my card finished. I've sent it off to a print shop and I will try to mail it off tomorrow.
Now I'm headed to a lecture. Hopefully I can stay awake for it...

a lot more women around to not interact with ;^)
>follow your kokoro.. it's not an easy decision.
They both seem like pretty bad options long-term. Maybe I need to get better at Japanese and get a job at a law school there.

Why so secretive about le studies?

Methinks in some places there are more women than men in weeb spaces nowadays.

Well, even a phone could do that.

Yeah, i agree, shitposting and venting here in this site is good

and no it's not like a laptop, it's a desktop, and you know what it's funny?, i have emotional value in this monitor because i have this monitor for longer than i can remember, just like my plastation 1 games disks, and online words can't describe how much i miss my plastation 1, i Hate when consoles just stop working because i like collecting games and consoles and when they stopped working is very sad situation for me, playstation 1 was my first game and i still have the playstation 1 games, i refuse to sell them or trade because they, just like this monitor, has a lot of value to me
>>
>>79630730
You know, I also had a monitor that I had emotional value to that I regretted throwing out. It was heavy, but it was really well built, much better than the one I have now which feels like cheap plastic. It didn't have good resolution or refresh rate but it felt really premium. I tossed it because it only used VGA, not HDMI or DisplayPort, but maybe I should've just gotten a converter.

funposting is the best!! being silly and having fun..

>Methinks in some places there are more women than men in weeb spaces nowadays.
definitely, depends on the space. i think my brain is a bit wonky and i'm more female-brained and aligned with those interests, so i am exposed to it more in general. i just really like cute things..

>>79630424
>a lot more women around to not interact with ;^)
nothing ventured, nothing gained

>They both seem like pretty bad options long-term. Maybe I need to get better at Japanese and get a job at a law school there.
that's the dream. when are we going to make the take it easy lawyer gang? i mean, lawyer firm. we can all move to a mansion in japan and setup business there. we'll all assume 2hu personas.

>Never had such thing, I get your point however.
what's worse? to have never had, or to have had and lost? it's the philosophical question as old as time. "grass is greener on the other side" as they say. some wish they'd have known the experience, even if as fleeting. some would wish to have never known the pain.

>what's worse? to have never had, or to have had and lost?
Both. One is the yearning for something that feels or is unattainable, out of reach; the other is the pain of loss, the mourning. Faces of the same coin.

>Good luck with school!
>Good luck with lecture!
I didn't need luck, thankfully. It was a pretty interesting talk by a UC Gould professor about using word embeddings to define ambiguous words in law, like if a tomato is a fruit or a vegetable for tax purposes. Not much practical application but it was neat.

>nothing ventured, nothing gained
But girls are scary! I would rather diffuse a bomb than talk to one.
>we can all move to a mansion in japan and setup business there.
I don't think we would offer good services. Besides, legal practice is miserable work. That's why I'm doing PhD instead of working 12 hour shifts in an office.

>Both. One is the yearning for something that feels or is unattainable, out of reach; the other is the pain of loss, the mourning. Faces of the same coin.
mourning what never was and grieving over what used to be. it's a tragic tale of loss either way. can you think in which way my heart feels right now? i can perhaps take a guess at yours.

>>79631388
>But girls are scary! I would rather diffuse a bomb than talk to one.
girls can be bombastic. okay, okay, you can hit me for that one. they're 50% of the planet! they have fears, insecurities, and the like. they can make for great frens.

>I don't think we would offer good services. Besides, legal practice is miserable work. That's why I'm doing PhD instead of working 12 hour shifts in an office.
not all legal is miserable really. 12 hour shifts kills anyone in any industry, though. it'd kill me too even if it was something i was passionate about.

I guess so.
>i can perhaps take a guess at yours.
I don't think it's possible.

>they're 50% of the planet!
71% of the planet is water but only 1% of that is potable...
>they can make for great frens.
I don't really have any experience of that. Interactions I have with women tend to be very fleeting. The closest thing I have to a female internet friend is someone 10 years older than me who draws furry porn for a living, and I only interact with her around others. Unless you're also a girl
>not all legal is miserable really
Some parts are less bad than others but it all takes place in a very stressful environment and usually the hours are very long because of that. There's a reason half the profession admit to being alcoholics. The real number is even higher.
