>two days since I quit weed
>been smoking 1-3g daily for the last 3 years

I know I'll probably want to relapse once the monotony of life sets in, but for now it's nice to have some mental clarity starting to return.
Anyone relate?

Yeah I've been there before, I would wake n bake everyday and smoke until evening
When it reaches that point, sobriety is almost like its own high because your baselines are reversed
Also the dreams are always intense coming off of weed, which I quite like
>>
Your dreams will be pretty vivid and intense for a while most likely. That always happens when you lay off the confusing spice.

I became a daily user for years after a bad breakup and I decided to take 6 months off to see what would happen.

It was hell at first, I actually felt withdrawals, but the intense vivid dreams are nice. I felt pretty good for the most part then I got bored and now I'm back to smoking but not nearly as much as I was.

Congrats anon. Hope you keep it up.

Usually it's better to taper off, but if you can handle cold turkey then I applaud your strength.

Yeah, I had that exact thought when I last quit for a few weeks. Feels nice, but you get used to it so quickly and then the "maybe if I just smoke once or twice a month" thoughts start happening.

Yeah, I actually haven't slept in 35 hours, so I haven't had my first sober sleep yet. Probably gonna be wild, catching up on sleep during the first night of vivid dreams.

>Yeah, I actually haven't slept in 35 hours
Jesus anon, go to sleep
Staying up that long is horrible for you
At the very least go take a nap

The withdrawals make it so that you can't fall asleep, you'll literally have to pass out because of sheer exhaustion when you cold turkey after smoking as much as he did.

I dunno man I've never had issues falling asleep even going cold turkey on weed. I lay down, put on a youtube video and I'm usually out cold halfway through the first or second one
Maybe their pineal glands are calcified and they have trouble naturally producing melatonin (if you drink fluoridated tap water all the time and use fluoride toothpaste, then that may be the case)

Yeah, I definitely want to go to sleep, but it was not happening the first night, so I decided to stay up until sun sets again and hopefully my sleep schedule will be fine tomorrow.
