how do you deal with the fact that you might die any minute?
>>
>worrying about mortality when being alive is infinitely worse
I'll never understand.

One of two things is true.
A. This is all random chance and none of this matters. We're alive because we exist. Once I'm gone I won't exist, so it's not like I'll care about not existing.
B. There's more to it. There is some sort of afterlife, or dimension outside of time that we come from. If that's the case then it was all pre determined and set forth before it even happened. And what happened was what was supposed to happen all along. I just played a part in some grand play, and the play is over. I reincate, go to the afterlife, take off my VR helmet, whatever it is. I can never truly know until it happens.
So I just try to enjoy everyday, do something that brings me some joy or comfort.

i literally just don't think about it

I don't put myself into dangerous situations, so the chance of me dying at any given moment is so low that I don't even think about it. When I'm driving, sometimes I'll think about it so that I be careful but worrying about it when I'm comfy at home is pointless.

your heart might stop at any minute

But it's not very likely to happen. Why waste time worrying about something so monumentally unlikely?
>>

it's actually quite common
also undiagnosed cancer

>it's actually quite common
if you're a 60 year old obese man and have high blood pressure
>also undiagnosed cancer
My blood, urine, and stool tests came back fine. Sure that doesn't cover every kind of cancer out there, but again why worry about something so unlikely?

There are threats that could end my life and my choices/behavior can mitigate those threats.
There are some threats like randomly getting a brain aneurism which I have no control over, so they're not worth worrying/thinking about. If I die in 3 hours because of a brain aneurism I never see coming, I'd rather spend those hours not knowing and doing something more enjoyable than worrying about it.

l embrace it
