anyone here who is older and got into a new hobby successfully? i had a sketchbook in high school that i sort of forgot about with time until 2024 when I decided to try digital art. I know I wont get better until i practice, but my god is practicing embarrassing. My drawings kept looking like kindergarten or elementary school level drawings. I started practicing again recently after like a year away and I keep struggling with the same thing, im less than 2 months from turning 25 but my drawing ability is so abysmal it looks like childish scribbles. I'm trying to keep pushing though, but man I am so bad it flusters me and makes my eyes tear up.
