Ruined by the zero sugar Sunkist
>>

I had a few cigarettes and a gas station burrito
>>
>>83086401
That looks pretty good but that's by no means some exquisite dish, good job though
>>
brussel sprouts and broccoli together is a waste
>>

>brussel sprouts and broccoli.
I have gotten substantially less picky since I was a kid, but these two I still very much do not like
>>
>>83086412
anon that's not good, come on over and I can give you some of this. I've got a shitload extra

>>83086410
fuck you, it's the best

My parents only fed me red meat, pasta, and potatoes growing up, so as soon as I tried other vegetables I loved them.

The taste is exquisite. I dry rubbed the chicken for hours and pounded the seasoning into it. the garlic butter is fantastic, I'm eating it as I type this.

My parents tried to get me to eat more vegetables but I wanted no part of it until I was 20 or so, and then some stuff I didn't like growing up (carrots, onions, peas, beets, spinach, several others) I just grew into and said "actually, this isn't bad, I like it"

I was like that with a bunch of other foods too. I hated Chinese food growing up, turns out that was just I hadn't had good Chinese food, only the cheap beef-and-broccoli from the trashy takeout joint my parents went to sometimes. Never liked tuna until I went to a Japanese place in my 20s and had sashimi, which was totally different than the tuna casserole my mom used to make with that "chicken of the sea" crap in a can.

I like Sunkist. But I can't stand the fake sugar put into diet/zero drinks because it tastes crazy sweet like syrup or something

Im a vegan I could never match :( ...

ok then, here's what i had a few days ago in that case
salad (lettuce, shredded carrot, olives, tomato and bellpepper slices, vinegar, olive oil, bit of salt), then some fried porkchop strips, a bit of feijoada (black bean stew with pork ribs, sausages, etc. mixed in), and a bit of "baiao de dois" (rice cooked with brown bean broth, with cheese and coriander added at the end)

i quite fucking like your dish too anon, it's simple and very very tasty
broc especially, and garlic butter chicken is the fucking bomb
i highly approve of your dish, my dude
>>
>>83086401
every time I had something that looked like that, the chicken/fish was dry and bland
>>
>>83086588
that looks pretty awesome too, I've made similar but not the same (never had feijoada). And yeah, I put on a SHITLOAD of garlic butter seasoning to mix into the veggies, and a bit of extra oil to roast them well
>>
>>83086637
absolutely fucking based, garlic butter seasoning is dope
i used to do that when i stir fried some veggies (cabbage, broc, cauliflower, carrot) to put in noodles, the flavor seeped into the broth afterward and it'd just taste great all around

feijoada isn't very difficult to make at its most basic form
if you want to try a recipe later on, i'd highly recommend it
do add a portion of finely sliced kale too if you do, it goes really well with it

A girl from here taught me how to make a sick beef and olive dish from malaysia (I think?), I forget the name, but the olives kinda remind me of it.
>>
You ordered that from a chief
>>
>>83086691
beef and olive, huh? i suppose they would go well together, i'm curious about that dish now
does it take long to make? what about ingredients?

Found it, it's philipino style picadillo.

>>83086930
oh shit that looks amazing actually
looks like it'd go great with some pasta, i think i had something similar in the past too
i might actually try making some later on, what a great suggestion anon, thanks

I just ate a homemade burger with cheddar cheese and bacon. I also made chocolate banana muffins.
