>just barely too young to remember the greatness of the 90s and early 2000s>start becoming aware of the world around 2008 - right when the financial crisis hits and everyone is getting all the modern stuff like broadband, iPhones, and PS3s>come of age during a pandemic, skyrocketing inflation, and mass unemployment>objectively the worst possible high school experiences
>>83089975the best year is the year you weren't born, i don't get year copers
>>83089975Yeah that's probably true. Well put.
>>83089975Everybody thinks that their generation is special
>>83090244really? I havent heared a lot of zoomers defend theirs. Just counter with how shitty boomers amd millenials are.90s and 2000s were pretty good though. Every time I discover a new show or game I like it comes from that time, even if I hadnt played it back then. movies were good from 80s-early 2000s. Now there is barely one good thing coming out per year.
>>83089975>born in 2003Thank god I dodged the bullet anon
>>83089975I dunno probably like 1320 in northern France, so you're old enough to live through and consciously experience the Hundred Years' War and the Black Death and the resulting mass famines from those things.
>>83089975Actually I think 1996 is the worst time to be born in the modern age.>Too young to fully experience the 90's and 2000's which was the peak of humanity>Just old enough to be conscious in the 2000's but too young to fully understand and appreciate it>Early 2010's high school where people were vain and egotistical as hell>Become an adult in the era of smartphones and memes, be part of the "cool young crowd">Fast forward a few years, the zoomers also with smartphones and memes start calling you old despite not being that different from them>COVID happens during the most critical and important time of your life (early-mid 20's), fucks up your entire social life>Become alienated before even reaching 30
>>83090749i was born in 1994 and am shocked on how accurate this is. yes the 90s/2000s were great but I always couldnt fully partake. When there was an event or something I was just a few years too young. When I was finally ready it was over. The rest is also fitting.
>>83090685Applies for yall too
03 old zoomie here. I grew up with the PS2, Dreamcast, PS3, XB360, N64, Wii, SNES, Atari 2600, I had the best of 3 worlds.
>mfw born 1990
>>83089975Born in 1994 and I honestly think the mid 90s were the worst time to be born.>just barely old enough to remember the good times of the 90s-early 00s, but too young to fully immerse yourself in it>constantly rejected and gaslit by older millennials into thinking you're too young to remember the good times>also get rejected by zoomers who were also too young or not even born then
>>83089975>536 AD>The year 536 AD is widely considered one of the worst in human history due to a cataclysmic volcanic eruption that caused a "volcanic winter". This event plunged much of the Northern Hemisphere into darkness, caused summer temperatures to drop significantly, and led to crop failures, widespread famine, and mass starvation across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The resulting climate instability and hardship also contributed to the spread of disease, including the devastating Justinian plague. yeah bro 2003 is mega hard phew!
>>83090749I'm 93 and the iphone 3 came out my senior year. My first computer was a windows 95 gateway my mom gave me when I was 7. I had a sega genesis, gameboy color, intellivision, n64, ps2, gamecube, xbox. I beat ocarina of time when I was 8 and played morrowind when I was 12 on xbox. I actually traded my ps2 for xbox and it was a great choice for me because I had morrowind, kotor, splinter cell chaos theory, halo 2. I had a gamecube as well and had re4 and windwaker for that. Then I had a ds and played animal crossing new leaf with my friends on ds and traded our fruit and played during christmas and made snowmen. I also played nintendogs with them. Then I got an xbox 360 and played a shitton of gears of war and played css on my computer and I also had mass effect and oblivion. My first phone was a nokia brick that had a knockoff game of pilot wings skydiving on it. I also had zunes not ipods and they were amazing, it was music rental before spotify and 320kbps unlimited for $15/mo while itunes had 96kbps at $1 per song.
>>83092851I love the cold and need to lose some weight
>>83092851Nobody cares about stupid caveman times, boomer. Stick to the script. 2003 IS the worse year to be born.
