I went into biotech being one of the only people among 5,000 others in the company who still knew basic high school statistics. I was asked many times to help with printing documents in my first job because a lot of the people were 40+ and had NO CLUE how to use a basic regular printer. The US government normally uses crude website templates and computer systems from 20-50 years ago with no competent business owners who could tell you how to update those systems. The russian government still mostly uses paper systems for anything that regular people have to interact with, like you can't apply or schedule anything online for many things that I've seen.
