Robots who have jobs, let me ask you, how many different passwords do you have to enter every day just to get started working your job in the morning? How often throughout the day do you have to enter more passwords? For the sake of this let's say 2FA and Captchas are their own passwords because really they are, you're being sent passcodes to verify.I just counted as I started up my computer and I had to enter 8 different fucking passwords just to get to work.>1. Windows password>2. VPN password. Triggers 2FA.>3. Cellphone PIN>4. VPN 2FA>5. Re-enter cellphone PIN to confirm 2FA.>6. Open remote desktop on laptop, enter Windows administrator password>7. Enter user and password in remote desktop>8. Enter user and password for GUI software>Okay ready to start my day!And the superuser set the auto logout time to 10 minutes for all devices. Also that's just to start my real work - this doesn't include checking emails, any webportals I need to use, the number of times I have to open my cellphone every day. This is ridiculous. Now I understand I'm a bit of an outlier because I work a remote job but there has to be a sizeable chunk of the collective human lifespan that is wasted doing this complete bullshit. And I'm sure there are plenty of people who have to go through even more security than this. This is like a digital commute that is being used to punish us work-from-homers.
>>83100623>be me>wake up>commute to work (basement)>use fingerprint scanner to turn on computer>I'm in, baby>log into github with fingerprint>log into everything else with github>hmm, a google account needed?>*use fingerprint*We have entered Number of the Beast territory. And behold, they will take a mark upon their hands in order to do commerce, and those with understanding may reckon the number of the Beast, for it is \\/ \\/ \\/

>>83100661The number of the beast is 666 and it is the number of a man (or men). The Devil put his signature when he made the material world and material bodies.

>>83100623>how many different passwords do you have to enter every day just to get started working your job in the morning?None. I do blue collar work.
>>83101182You don't even have to enter a code to punch in? A lot of blue collar work is even being gameified in that you have to download an app on your phone to do certain things. Forklift operators have to enter a password to activate the forklift. If you truly don't have any logins at all then congratulations. Unfortunately I think that type of job is not long for this world.
>>83100623Two. One password for my laptop, and that same password for the password manager in the web browser.
