I work at a factory, I got a nice easy to do routine I can do on auto pilot, I don't have to speak to really anyone, I got 1-8 hours of downtime everyday depending on the day, I can use that downtime how I wish, meaning on the computer, on my phone, in the breakroom or whatever. Its a comfy job that pays well, I like it here. Co-workers are all super relaxed old guys as well, I spend a good part of my day just sitting on this comfy chair in the control room on my phone or computer doing whatever.
>>83104053I'm leaving my factory job to go to college full time soon. It's the opposite of chill. Hours are cut, most are barely skating by. I saved money in the last year, can't wait to be done next month. Mostly miserable, jealous people, drug addicts and lunatics you have to work with everyday. I streamlined the process for my line, they hate it when you're good at what you do. I won't miss it, bunch of lovers. Couple cool older dudes though.
>>83104104I guess lesson being don't work in manual sweat shop factories. All I do is sit behind a computer for most of the day doing jack. I get paid very well for this as I have a degree.
>>83104163Lesson learned, good stuff
>>83104163:o what kind of degree? and what kind of factory work?
