anyone else here struggling with weight/diet problems? my dad was fat so he always ate a lot and whenever I ate a lot no one said no. he would get fast food all the time too. now im older and it's just so hard to handle habits that you've had for years and only now realize you have them. ive always been fat and it feels like I'll always be fat. its so hopeless even days when i watch what i eat i fuck it up somehow and don't realize it unti its too late and there's no one to help me keep track of all this stuff. i look at the size of my pants and shirts and i get so embarrassed and feel so gross. didn't mean to go on so long but this is the only place i can tell.

Think of it this way OP. If you have got overweight, then you ahve been eating too many calories regularly. You will continue to eat too many calories, and therefore you will continue to get more overweight. It won't level off, you will continue to get bigger and bigger. You have to control it. I did it myself. I wasn't huge but I was getting too big and so I cut down. I literally wrote down every calorie I was eating. Look at the lables of stuff. You'll be amazed how many calories are in some shit. In the store I would buy a certain number of calories each day, so I couldn't binge on snacks and shit. Because I had a calorie "budget" I would avoid carbs. Buy protein and veg and you can get good value of quantity for your calories. Buy shit like cucumbers and celerey for if you snack when you're bored. Salt em up and its a cruchy salty snack with hardly any calories.Low carb/keto and fasting is what works. You can have off days its okay. if you have 1600 cals each day and one day you weaken and have 3000 dont worry, just take it day by day.

You only lose weight if you burn more calories than you eat. Some people just have a better metabolism than others

A naturally more active person will have a higher metabolism than someone who spend all day horizontal on a sofa. If you hate exercise, you can do a high intensity burst routine. Go all out with some star jumps or some shit for 60 seconds. Rest 60 seconds. Do it again, full intensity 60 seconds. You will now have raised metabolism for about an hour. Get horizontal again if you like - you're burning more calories just by existing.

It'll even set calorie deficiencies depending on how fast you want to lose weight.Track everything, calories in vs calories out works (with a few rare exceptions)
