My man Fab "Fab" Hurzeler is taking Brighton places
>>
>>154780660
They won two trophies in a transition year, that's pretty good going
>>
>>154781266
They have the best manager of this generation.
They have the best striker of this generation up front.
They have a Ballon d'Or winner in midfield.
They bought a CL-winning GK in the summer (despite also spending 30m on another GK a few weeks before that).
They signed the most coveted CB in the league in January.
They signed the most coveted winger in the league in January.
They spent over half a million in the past 18 months.

This is objectively a very stacked City team right now. And despite winning two domestic trophies (which is decent in isolation), they bottled the league to a team notorious for bottling it. It's almost as embarrassing as United losing a final to Spurs.
>>
>>154781359
I don't think it's embarrassing at all

His inconsistency always annoyed me and his peak was when his contract was coming up before reverting to his usual form
Still won loads and an Euro in the end
>Wonder what he's up to
>Still playing but now in Kazakhstan
Bizarre where some players career lead them

I'm of the opinion that Fabian Hurzeler is a really good manager and a long term project for Brighton. If you look at the matches they've lost or drawn it's nearly never due to the team not being set up correctly more about goals conceded to individual errors and missed big chances. That and goals conceded after 90 where players have switched off.
Their points dropped after 90 mins is at least 8 that I remember. There are only very small changes needed at Brighton before they're challenging for Champions League places.
>>
>>154794897
This is meant to be a discussion about football you dumb friendless frogposter, fuck off
>>
Huerzeler is a great young manager, United should've gone for him if they had any ambition.

meant to read Last 5 Home (EPL), shit formatting from me apologies lads

this data looks promising for Spurs, but they have a unique situation ... if the Irons go ahead anything could happen
>>
Genuine question if anyone follows them
How would Bournemouth cope if they got champions league? They have a decent 11 but do they have the depth and the funding to cope with so many intense matches next season.
I like them and they're a decent club but would hate them to drop off in the Prem due to over committing in Europe or just getting their youth team battered every match in the CL.
>>
>>154802809
Only one way to find out m8
At least their owners have been pushing for it and will make sure they don't get fried too hard

in the event that they keep iraola and a good core of their players with some proper replacments for the departures, they surely can.
the difference between the prem and everywhere else is becoming actually gargantuan, bourmounth can probably beat your atleticos, your milans, your jewventus, your leverkusens, hell maybe even real madrid on a good day seeing just how hectic madrid is at the moment. the rest of europe is actually falling behind so fast and that couldn't have been clearer than in the recent evropa final between villa and freiburg
>>
>>154803394
>in the event that they keep iraola
Typical clueless Sky Six plastic.

it's not really bottling when a team fucks up the start of their season and is chasing
feels a lot like arsenal fans want to force the term because they're feeling sore about the label (correctly) being applied to them over the years

Psychologically, it's intriguing. Even in victory, arsenal must assume the position of victimhood.
>>
>>154803571
Let them have their little victory dance, they've gone through a lot of pain over the years
>>
>>154803646
>they've gone through a lot of pain over the years
Relative pain, not absolute.
