This was the weakest league win ever>Chelsea and United swapping coaches>Liverpool and City in a rebuilding phase>Tottenham almost getting relegatedAnd they still almost bottled it and had to rely on City not getting 3 points
people will seethe but in retrospect you are correct
The weakest winners are whoever finished on the least amount of points out of every winner. Probably Leicester or one of the 90s teams.
>>154790527>United even being a factorKek might as well talk about palace's collapse
>>154790527hope pep sees this and stays
>>154790553Was 1996/97 United. Oddly enough the three lowest came in the period 1996/97 to 1998/99: https://www.365scores.com/en-uk/football/league/premier-league-7/history
>>154790527What a literal subhuman you are. Chelshit and Manure have been changing managers for years now, it's not something unique only for this season.Liverpool was the champions and the spent half a billion pound sterling in the summer.and Shitty were "rebuilding" from the season prior and bought everyone they could until the most recent transfer window in winter which they got probably the league's best CB (Guéhi) and the most promising goalscorer (Semenyo ) and a world class goalkeeper (Donnarumma).and Tottenham? Fucking Tottenham? you must be trolling at this point.
>>154790563United is always dangerous at home, no matter how shit their squad is. And they finished 3rd.
>>154790646Why are arsenal fans seething so much? You'd think they'd be happy
Save this seethe for when the Russian tanks roll back into Tallinn and London decides you shitty Baltics aren't worth the hassle.
>>154790660>Le dangerous at homeYou could say that about half the teams in the pl
>>154790646>>154790677>absolutely seething Arsenal fansBitter bastards.
"N-no-one cares they won the league" thread #264
>>154790677kek rare Arsenal W, based zigger
>>154790527id like /arse/ cucks to refute this anons points (you literally cant)
>win the league>get completely overshadowed by promotion drama in the second tier
And yet they still won.
>>154790527every top team that looses in in a "rebuilding phase" you retard think about it, every team that cant beat the dominating team is "rebuilding", evey team would have to have equal level talent to empirically say one team is truly better than the other, technically man city is always stacked with much higher level talent, so its never really "fair", just stfu with the coping, your team is shit this year stfu or kys desu
>>154795363>every top team that looses in in a "rebuilding phase" you retard think about it, every team that cant beat the dominating team is "rebuilding"Not true at all. The key players for City and Liverpool left already or are just old and washed up like Salah. Arsenal got very lucky. Let's see if they can beat PSG.
>>154790553or the inverse, given that low pointage could mean fierce competition ie high league quality and difficulty. all in all abas will seethe, manshitters will seethe, arsenal are the champions and in the UCL final undefeated.
>>154802202only key player for shitty that left was kdb and it really shows you how much of a massive player he was. even last year when he was shitting it up, he stood out. same goes for salah, he was massive for transpool.
Why do people even seethe? Football is scripted just like WWE, it's their turn to win the premier league. No need to overthink it.
>>154790527Liverpool being in a rebuilding phase my ass. They just won the league and spent an additional 500 milly to further their dominance. The fact that it backfired and they ended up being shittier means they are failures, not that they are "rebuilding" or whatever silly cope you are pushing. Now City being in a rebuild might be a real complaint, but Arsenal was in a rebuild for years until recently so it's only natural that their cycles differ. The other teams you mentioned haven't been real contenders for over a decade. The fact that United are being universally praised for their 3rd place performance while Arsenal was being clowned for 2nd, and now even while winning proves it.
>>154790527It was the most competitive. Not really the weakest in all fairness. Your mid table down to relegation fodder were taking points from us all. Utd had a decent comeback though and maybe they’ll challenge next season(one can hope, as it will be refreshing)I don’t think this city transition bullshit is correct as many teams sign multiple players during the summer window. It’s a cope imo. They bottled the league. We didn’t.We will finish with more points than them.We won. Thanks for playing.
lol knew it'd be some jf
>>154802202To be fair Arsenal also played with a lot of new players this season. Let us take a look at the most played minutes at each of the "rebuilding" teams.Arsenal had 4 players that joined the club this season in their most played 11.Liverpool had 2 playersMan City had 3 playersTo be fair to City they bought two players in January that played a lot in the spring but they didn't have the chance to break into that "most played 11". So they are somewhere between 3-5 new players.
Which makes the point that Arsenal managed to win the title while being in a rebuilding phase. Which is pretty impressive. It could also mean that the league is the weakest ever when a team being in rebuilding phase can win it.
The entire league was a free for all other than the top 2 and bottom 2.
