I've been an EMP member for many years. Getting invites even as a member is extremely hard if not impossible. You have to be a major contributor and uploader to even have a chance at getting invites. The "rule" is you need a positive ratio, and a bunch of uploads seeded for a length of time to even qualify. They also track everything the invited user does and will terminate them for basically anything. It really sucks, I want to give a friend an invite but its a crapshoot.
