are the native linux johncena141 releases on 1337x.to safe?
>>
>>1044577
I have never used his releases, as they are just packaged wine games and I can do that myself quickly and easily. On the other hand I have seen it mentioned in many respectable places as a safe and a good source. And I do not know of anyone else doing similar things that is both active and well know as he is. Undoubtedly he would not be still around if there were some intentionally unsafe and shady things going on in his packaged games, some user would notice it at some point. So if you want premade meals, his are best around I know of, but it's always better to do some home cooking.

im talking about the native linux binary releases
i already download windows scene releases and run them with wine

My bad, sorry. I had no idea about him doing native torrents. But what I've said should apply to native games as well. If he is trusted around some Linux users, he is trusted for both native and non native..
For native games, if I am not buying it for some reason, I personally use primer torrminatorr.com (they have GNU/Linux section and is kept updated decently) and if cant find there- rutracker.

i already knew about rutracker but torrminatorr is new to me, thanks
are there specific uploaders/user i should look on torrminatorr to download from or do they only allow trusted users to upload there?
>>

I do not use it frequently, but it is my primary source of pirated content. In most cases, mods and/or admins post games so it's safe as any other source (rutracker example). Website is generally pretty well moderated and kept clean, and I use it for a long while as my primary source of GNU/Linux (even some windows) games. I have not had any issues with them besides occasional dead links and I personally trust it.

>>1044577
Comments would've been filled with outrage if so. He's been at it for over a year.
Personally, I've had no overt issues, be it native or wine.
