No. Ideally you want to cultivate a healthy relationship with food and your body, rather than using food as a means of abusing yourself. There are books in the diet section that may help you do that. Steroids are unhealthy and recreational use is bodily abuse imo but I have included a folder on them for the purposes of informing and educating those who may be interested in taking, as often those who take steroids take them in a much more damaging way than necessary, as they are not very educated on the subject

What kind of "vegan diet books"? Cookbooks? Books about the guidelines/outline/philosophical underpinnings of a vegan diet? There are two vegan related things in the torrent. There is a section on vegan dieting in the Fitness Programs folder. Search "FULL RP DIET" once you download and you'll find it. It has an excel protein calculator and 3 workouts and about 4 pdfs of more info on the diet model. There is also a pdf on the recommended vegan supplement stack by Examine.com, also in the Fitness Programs folder

Also yes there are some duplicate files in here, but not a very significant amount. If anyone has any suggestions on what they would like to see for the next iteration of the torrent then let me know. I was thinking of some more old school bodybuilding books and a few resources regarding how to understand and interpret studies for the steroids section

and 2 or 3 additional exercises with 3x12 for each muscle group
this gives you strength and aestethics

or any 2 day split
and do the same with one minor change if the load is too much for you
if you do deadlift and bench on the same day, go 5x5 for one and 3x8-12 for the other
and then change it the next time
same for Squat and OPH on the same day

I feel Nippard's focus on science is a bit of a youtube fitness meme. Also his programming can be weird in the sense that he has sold multiple pdfs for different muscle groups only. For example there is a forearm hypertrophy guide, back hypertrophy guide, glute hypertrophy guide etc etc. This is unnecessary, but I'm not going to shit on the guy for trying to make a few bucks selling a few extra programs, it just means I have less faith in him to program properly when it matters. I saw a fullbody and split routine in the body recomp guide which seems alright though.

Also when I mentioned "Fitness Guides" in my last post I was getting my torrents mixed up. The body recomp is in the Jeff Nippard folder in this torrent:

to expand on this, a well-rounded muscle-building routine will include the following:
a vertical push (overhead press, handstand pushup)
a horizontal push (bench press, pushup, chest press machine)

To increase maximal strength, you want to aim for a level of resistance that you can do for 5 sets of 3-6 reps. For size, aim for a level of resistance you can do for 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps. When you start out, you want to aim for levels of resistance that are much lower than your "max" and gradually work up to more challenging levels of resistance. I would personally recommend increasing resistance or reps each training day. Once you can no longer increase each day, start increasing every week instead.
SS and other barbell strength programs will more or less follow these guidelines with minor differences. I would personally recommend stronglifts 5x5.

You should really just go to a gym, it's nearly impossible to learn fighting from studying and practcing by yourself, you could theoretically have your form perfected after years of training and analysing your mistakes with recordings, but even then it would all be useless because you have no sparring experience. My advice is pick up whatever sport you like and after you learn the basics start watching free content on youtube, honestly most advanced things that your coach might not teach you comes to nuances in technique and fight iq tips. (also there's already a bunch of stuff here).

A rep is one full repetition of a movement, i.e. one pushup, one situp etc.
>what are sets?
A set is a given number of reps performed consecutively without any rest in between them. You should rest after a set long enough to be able to complete your next set, up to a maximum of about 3 minutes.
>what is maximal strength?
Maximal strength is the amount of weight you can move for a single rep in a given movement.
>aren't size and strength the same thing?
Short answer: no.
>what is resistance?
Resistance in this case refers collectively to the factors that make it more difficult to complete a single rep of a movement. For weighted lifts like bench press you can increase or decrease resistance by adding or removing weight from the bar. For bodyweight exercises like pushups you can increase or decrease resistance by performing a harder or easier variation of the exercise (kneeling pushups, archer pushups, one-armed pushups etc.)

A program is an exercise plan that dictates lifts, weight, sets, and reps for each training day. You can make your own plan using the guidelines in the previous post, but I would highly recommend using a tried and true beginner strength program like Starting Strength (SS), Stronglifts 5x5, or Greyskull LP.

The more I look back on how Mike advocated his training working for natties, the more it seems like marketing spiel, but who knows, maybe he thought it genuinely would. He certainly made sure to mention all of the people he trained being able to make significant gains off of it
