Art General
40k Art Collection

This first collection is totally sorted by Artist.
Name of painting, type of medium used etc. are contained in the file name.
Approximately 1,250 Artists from around the world are represented.

Average scan quality and resolution sizes are in reflected in the image post.
I have super Hi Res sets as follow up torrents.
This makes a great guide as reference to a large collection of works.
Will post some caps of a look inside in the next couple of posts.

Hope others will join in with some sets of their own.

There's something subtly wrong with every single picture of his I've seen. In this one, for example, the main building is quite obviously tilting to the right.

I saw that there was a lot of Bouguereau and Collie missing. These two are my personal, if anyone's interested (some are without a date, or in a quite bad quality).

Thanks anon.
I will download them and add them to the torrent.

The Quality issue was addressed in the op.
Not nearly the best I have, again more of a reference tool
to include as many artists as possible.

Working on a HQ Hi Res set atm, where you can zoom and see the brush strokes. too large to even post a sample on this board.

Zdzisław Beksiński.
Insanity in Art

Zdzisław Beksiński (24 February 1929 – 22 February 2005) was a renowned Polish painter, photographer, and fantasy artist.

He created very disturbing images, showing a surrealistic, post-apocalyptic environment with very detailed scenes of death, decay, landscapes filled with skeletons, deformed figures, deserts, all very detailed, painted with his trademark precision, particularly when it came to rough, bumpy surfaces.

His highly detailed drawings are often quite large, and may remind some of the works of Ernst Fuchs in their intricate, and nearly obsessive rendering. Despite the grim overtones, he claimed some of these paintings were misunderstood, as they were rather optimistic, or even humouristic.

Is the 40k art found under particular artists? I only want the 40k art so maybe it would have helped to have a separate directory for it since I'm not able to locate it (not fully downloaded yet).
>>
>>1072648
Guys is there any specific place where I can find art/painting collection torrents like the ones posted here? All I could find on torrent sites are desktop wallpaper collections; the closest thing I found was a Prokudin photograph collection on rutracker.

40k here >>1072648

the one you tagged is a smaller HI Res collection

yes, there is a reason he didn't make it into art school
>>
>>1095354
because the art school had gone to modern shit by then. Hitlers art isnt good, mediocre at best, but theres no good reason for someone to be good at art before they go to school since its the job of the school to make you good. i mean, why would you go to school in the first place if you already had the skills?

"It was noted that Hitler's works contained too few heads. The institute (Academy of fine arts of Vienna" considered that he had more talent in architecture than in painting. One of the instructors, sympathetic to his situation and believing he had some talent, suggested that he apply to the academy's School of Architecture. However, that would have required returning to secondary school from which he had dropped out and which he was unwilling to do."
It wasn't bad by any means, but it was lacking what admissions were looking for

One modern art critic was asked in 2002 to review some of Hitler's paintings without being told who painted them. He said they were quite good, but that the different style in which he drew human figures represented a profound disinterest in people.

I'm hoping someone has this, or can point me towards it. I'm looking for the art book for the first Kung Fu Panda. "The Art of Kung Fu Panda" I can find the 2nd and 3rd movies art book no problem, but the first movies just isn't uploaded anywhere. And fuck the outrageous prices people want for a physical copy. I just want to find it to gift to a friend.

Could he have done it on purpose? Some of the "mistakes" are even bizarre like having a shadow 90 degrees from where it should be.
Like it was intentional and left there for the observant.

It appears as though he had difficulties with parallel lines. It is visible in every painting of his that I've seen. Look at the pillars/towers in that one. It looks like the left one is leaning to the left and the right one leaning to the right, i.e. they are leaning away from each other. Also, look at this wall. The wall appears concave and round. Also, notice how the bottom "window" is taller on the left than on the right. It's subtle, but you will notice a lot of inconsistencies in his paintings if you look closely.

anyone have any postmodern art collections? no pollock/abstract expressionism if possible. thanks

Yes, it happens often.

I've seen Alex Grey paintings here and there, but has not shown much interest. But, yesterday happens, i'm hearing one live podcast and the quest mentioned about Grey is his main and meaningful painter.
Who is this Mr. Grey... I do not remembered :D

So, of course you need to print for testing Epson with this... was quite disappointed after PirateBay shows nothing.
