I loved watching this movie in my film studies class in high school. it's the first movie ever to have actors using mostly method acting (modern acting) instead of cheesy classical acting that was used until the late 60's/early 70's.

easily one of the best movies of all time. 10/10, would recommend. do yourself a favor and watch it if you haven't.

The annoying thing about this movie is that there are at least 4 different versions that omit or add scenes, the 4K edition I believe is the newer 182 min Final Cut, but my Blu-ray is the 196 min Redux version, the Final Cut was Coppola's preferred version if I remember correctly, but the Redux is what I've grown accustomed to so that's what I'll share. I'm a little tired of directors who feel the need to re-release their films every 20 or so years in different versions but I guess the gimmick must pay off in the end or they probably wouldn't bother doing it.
