This gave me an idea for a rival. A cultivator (not even being close to immortal maybe elder) who fought and slew this Devil but at the cost of his own life.

The monster upon reincarnation cleaved off its corruption and now wants to walk the path of mercy. But during its reincarnation, the powerful soul of the Immortal actually dragged along the soul of the cultivator who slew him. Dragged into the new life by the 'current' of the Immortals immensity.

Its not so much "better" its just boring. You start with all the knowledge that you'd normally explore in a story. For a protag in a novel its fine because they usually use that to expedite their journey but for a multiplayer cyoa I think its going to be more of a hindrance than the other encounters.

Yes, but if you take Inherited Wisdom, you could adapt a profession technique as the special ability.
For a "normal craftsman", you'd probably be better off with the triple cripple strat, but even then, the high tier crafts are magic by nature, that's why to perform them you need to either be of a high realm yourself, or have the mortal savant perk. "A normal craft" should be reproducible without those, and that'd mean it's of a grade 0 by itself.

You can't take professions with mundane mind. Then that's just a normal guy with professions, you can make a triple cripple. Take Mortal Savant three times. No cultivation, all professions. It's not even a build idea, really, just about a very small part of its presentation, that I for some fucking reason decided to complicate for myself.
You know like when you post a build and most of the fluff is in the rentry, but you'd still want some small description to be in the thread besides just the shopping list and a link?
Well, for some fucking reason, my sleepy yesterday self, decided to try to make it more flowery, and my retarded today self, decided to try to organise it a bit more, and started adding some random arbitrary rules to it.
So what started as just a cryptic fortune cookie tier summary, I tried to bash into some pattern of 4 paragraphs each with 4 sentences + 1 final paragraph with one sentence. Then I decided that, the first sentence of each paragraph, should start with an "a", and each sentence, besides the very last, should have a caesura. Then I thought, why not organise the length a bit more, let's make each paragraph have 29 syllables (because 2 of them were already that length). Then I thought, you know what, while I'm at it, might as well organise the sentences themself, and bash them into a 7/7/7/9 pattern, with a caesura after 4/3/3/4 syllable respectively (almost had that, but the tool I used counted syllables wrong in one line, and I fucked it up in another). Since I was already there, I thought, you know what, might as well try to turn it into a blank verse. Turns out, my stress patterns were, unsurprisingly, all over the place:

The surname Nowell isn't inherited from his parents, but something he gave himself after leaving the Underworld to find a better life, as per their last wishes.

After a few months of living amongst the humans of The Ringed City and seeing what they have to offer, Ariel has chosen his path.

He utterly despises the Old Nobles, who worship Heroes while hunting down their descendants from the Underworld. From his point of view, the knights who accepted corruption for the sake of humanity were the true heroes, and the ones who remained in The Innermost Ring were cowards too high on their own self-righteousness. Thus, his goal is to destroy the Elder Council and make The Ringed City a fairer place. He doesn't care if it happens through revolution or by buying his way into a political position.

Right now, he's training to be a warrior while trying to find like-minded allies. However, while his power is increasing at a steady pace, his cause lacks followers because his personality is rather garbage.

Ariel has a massive ego and expects most people to bend over to his whims. When speaking to someone he doesn't respect, he will not address them by name but instead a demeaning nickname. It's the youthful bluster of someone who was born in hell and had to crawl his way out only relying on his own skills, unlike the nobles, who have an inflated sense of self due to their blood.

I ended up going for something between the 2 and 3, with big parts completely rewritten but reusing some bits from the previous version, and the overall themes of stanzas. I ended up trying to go for an iambic tetrameter, with a caesura in the middle. I didn't attempt rhyming because that's just way above my skill level.

It is an +1 Unlocked Perk Potential, not a Limit Break. The base was the Subhuman Class, so this is why it happened since the image editor hadn't saved the changes despite my best attempts.

The first idea is subhuman with a focus on a bunch of transformation stuff. Idea was that that they were actually the remnant of demon that became more human. Haven't settled on what the demon child ability should be.

Second idea is a robot/cyborg that's able to control and upgrade object/machines. Was going be based around soul transposition and some cobbles together templates, but technopathy exists now and should mostly cover it.

Third idea is a noble with midas and whatnot since that I haven't thought much about honestly but found somewhat appealing. Maybe I'd make them some disgraced noble trying to recollect their families treasures.
