Otherwise the fluff could probably be easily explained. I think Batudai being hired or manipulated into helping, or on the contrary, being on the side that lost, could work as his Unusual Encounter version of it.As for the Romantic Rival, the reward is also something he shouldn't have yet, but here I also don't have much of an idea how to fix it in for him. He's too socially stunted to really have experience in shipping. At most I'd see him being like a third wheel to this kind of a situation, where he accidentally messed it up with his loneliness aura. Or maybe like Ageratum was into a girl who was into Batudai, but then she got close to him, and it was when his aura was active and she lost interest before he even realized what was going on. It doesn't seem perfect, but that's all I got for it. But hey, if you find it funny, maybe you have a more solid idea. I'd be open to discussing it.

Xu's Qi, soul, footwork, and attack techniques I think are spot on for his null root and really demonstrate how unified and almost elegant a single theme can be. Dong as well has a very nicely written and comprehensive array of themed skills and best of all it's not a typical or stable Tao. I really like that. Sayas is simple and kinda barebones but I think it serves as an example of how you can still convey a cool theme without pages of detail. Lionbros like dongs is unique, and like Xu's is a great amount of detail where everything makes sense both in isolation but you can see how it comes together as a whole.>If your character was stuck in a room for 24 hours with another PC which PC would you want it to be? Perhaps Wanroe would think that some kid found her aunt's legacy and as a result she sends some soldiers to rob and/or capture said kid so she can figure out what exactly her aunt left behind. Maybe she couldn't find a treasure vault belonging to the main empire's royal family and hopes it's location was left behind, or maybe she kept her aunt's imperial seal and wanted to know how to absorb it for a power up, etc... Or maybe she thinks that Yue is a surviving descendant of the main imperial family and wants to nip a potential future enemy in the bud.She'd probably figure out what's actually up if she met Yue in person however. There she bid her time before eventually throwing a coup and destroying Yue's empire (like mother like daughter, I suppose, both skilled at destroying nations).

Which is a wide gap in terms of options, mean while they are equal in terms of primary cultivation. At 16 that's means they probably have 1 of every type, or near enough so I'm not sure they would be able to.

Alright, I think I've turned it all into archive links and I think I've shifted things around so that none of the threadslave posts will be over the character limit. I purged some MHA builds, but it was mostly builds that I don't think I've ever seen interact. Old builds like King Billy stayed since they were in a writefag at some point. Newer builds like Neutronium man were purged since I can't recall them getting any content of any form. (Hopefully I didn't accidentally purge someone who did stuff that I just forgot about).

Adding too many sections, or too many choices so that each playstyle is somewhat represented when in reality, people will make characters around cool choices rather than walk into a new thing with something already in mind. I'd probably aim for 2-4 pages. It's kind of my sweet spot for something short, yet substantial enough to continually explore. And it could be used to train info condensation / delivery efficiency. One alt-setting I had in mind was that the Heavens has already won and cultivation society has declined, resulting in a more wuxia level setting where lorewise Mortal Savants managed to craft ways for humanity to hide from the heavens. I was thinking that you could do a treasure spam type with tons of soul stones and treasures who purely relies on them and elixirs. Would be a neat concept, but it's barely possible with Mundane Mind at the moment. Even going up to like, 60, would help. Removing the option to not take points at all would also suck, limits build variety. Not a deal breaker on if the cyoa is playable (lol) but I'm strongly against that.

You COULD take Inherited Wisdom, or you could take "Heaven's Only Comfort" which gives you an "enhanced" Plentiful Wealth or a spirit stone second sense or something of that sort.But yeah, I would definitely agree that a different mechanical benefit that isn't more points would be nice.
