Last repost of 0.1 of my Dragon's Lair Trilogy jump. The next update will be to 1.0.
>>
>>94048869
Remove the drawback limit.
>>
>>94048764
>See thats not out of the range of possibilities given a certain rule im rolling with even if its mostly head canon that if a Jumper takes on a certain role or theme it can get "Ingrained" so for using zelda jumps as a example taking a zelda like origin would make you more likely to get them in the future as well.
Take a look at the Spirit Tracks jump, it’s got some options you might find useful.

>Spirit tracks zelda is great, never did finish that game though I should get back to it one of these days.
Whether or not you have a good time with Spirit Tracks seems to come down to whether or not the mic on your DS works right. Mine works fine, so I never had any trouble with the game.
>>
I'm flooding the entire setting

[200cp, Discounted for Kidnapped] Royal Breeding
You’ve been rescued by your true love. Now it’s time to settle down and have some children!
In this area, you are unmatched. You are now highly fertile, and will be able to carry too many
children at once (even as much as dozen at a time), and pregnancy or childbirth will never degrade
your appearance. If you aren’t quite ready for dozens of children, you can scale back the boost in
fertility this perk provides as much or as little as you like.
You may also apply the benefits of this perk to a partner that you impregnate.

Little Green Devils- 200
A goblin horde doesn’t come from the moon or from people’s failures. It comes from the wombs of
many captive humans, elves and other races, so very graciously given to the goblin dens. Given by
force mayhap but the goblins don’t mind. They breed fast and even in the filthiest environs, you
being a goblin are no different. In both this form and any other, you are now able to breed children
at an incredible rate. The gestation period lasts just days and children grow to adulthood in merely
weeks, without being diminished because of this physically or mentally, though they may have a lack
of education. Children bred by you can be born and raised even in filth and squalor without any risk
of disease, indeed they seem to be unnaturally vital. Even before you get to the act of breeding, you
have some useful powers too. It seems you’re able to quite easily break the wills of almost anyone,
even the most heroic sorts, by forcing yourself on them repeatedly. Even more potent than the most
imaginative of tortures, it seems to be.
>>
>>94048936
yawn
>>
>>94048936
remember to use the slaves item in Goblin Slayer.

Also set up some schooling situation for your kids, you only got a few weeks before they're full fledged adults with no skills to show for it.
>>
>>94048909
Spirit tracks could be a decent jump 3. Though it'd probably cement the sage/support role going on. would be neat after the whole demon trains taken care of to go make a expedition back to the great sea and see what its like during that time.
>>
Im looking to build a powerset to basically be the scariest fucker around without actively being malevolent. What are some powers that would be good for this?

I already have shapeshifting, shadow control, and a perk that makes me inherently scarier the stronger I am than the target.

I figure maybe a power that allows me to know what the target wants/needs, one to make scrying and mind effects rebound showing horrific nightmare visions if they are hostile to me, and possibly the ability to create demons or shadow creatures of some kind.

I can add new powers at a rate of 1 per month give or take so long as they arent some major gamebreaker power like lifting a skyscraper or being a flash tier speedster.
>>
>>94048936
There's a perk in Corruption of Champions as well.
>>

>>
>>94048975
Support is a respectable role, and one that combines well with both crafting and leadership. Showing up in a setting and helping the locals to solve their problems instead of solving them for them is a fun way to jump.
>>

I'd just take a jump and do some formatting for it, and maybe post in the thread to ask what people think on how it looks.
>>
I am looking for a Ki system to teach my jumpers minions.
specifically I am looking for two things
>should be able to boost the body propotionally to the base stats/abilities
>shouldn't be too versatile, as in not too many potential vastyl different techniques like with Nen or Chakra.
>>
>>94049150
I fail to see how this could serve any purpose at all.

NTA, but practice for formatting/imaging, obviously.

Hey, Golem still here? I have a question about the Splicers in Pokerogue.

>>
What's a good power for a spin stand? I feel Tusk being great as it is makes me struggle to come up with any other possible applications of the power.
>>
>>94049190
Naturally there are still more notes I could write about those damn things. Normally, a Fusion would be permanent until undone, but because Idea Constructs disappear when the current Jump ends due to being temporary, one half of the Fusion would spontaneously no longer exist, which would logically cause the Fusion to come undone (which will destroy the sacrifice as well, if it wasn't an IC).
>>
>>94049251
I would like to see a few different settings and have thought about trying my hand at making them but honestly I only get a couple hours free time a day. Industrial strength magic, vaudevillain, the perfect run, super sales on super heroes, and fids crusade to name a few.
>>
>>94049354
Just a horse you can summon and ride.
>>
>>94049251
Agreed, feed me reading material and I might* shit out a jump.

*Zero promises are made, quality may vary even if results are delivered.
>>
>>94049023
At this rate someone else should make the jump. There's no telling if Regalus will find the time to come back and honestly it would not be surprising if he also got too busy much like other jumpmakers.

Here's some additional perks to consider:

Blood Breeds True [400 – Discount for Dragon-Blooded] – Not quite as Legendary as your
predecessors, but still enough worth nothing. When you pass down your genes to your offspring, they
not only have a prodigious talent in anything you yourself are skilled in, but they have a much higher
chance of inheriting any special powers or bloodlines you could pass down through reproduction. As a
Dragon-Blooded, your own children have about a fifty percent chance of Exalting, something that will
be in high demand if any of your cousins find out. Even if you don't have any special powers to pass
down, your children will quickly become masters in any skills you possess with even the bare
minimum of practice done. Who knows? Some might not even need an Exaltation to become one of the
best in the world at something...

200CP Vicarious: You may have heard tales about people who try to live out what they couldn’t
achieve through their children. This is kind of like that, except when your children improve in a
skill, you gain a proportionate amount of improvement in that skill.
>>

I tend to like things with lots of waifus and a story that is only mildly retarded, in the case of capeshit preferably the kind of capeshit where I can use entirely canon powers with no reason to try and fill out multiple pages worth of OC powers like for Alchemical Solutions.

If powerlevels either remain largely grounded with any crazy nonsense requiring combos or can easily be pushed into the future so I don't have to worry about them too much that would also be idea. Stories that are entirely or primarily consumed by reading rather than movies or tv shows would also be preferred if you want me to actually finish and thus be capable of making a jump for it.

My taste is broad, my free time extensive, and while my ability to read stuff at work is not unlimited but better than many. I will never miss an opportunity to fish for more reading/jumpmaking material.

I don't mind as long as it doesn't sneak onto the drive without my approval. Mind you, most of mine are imaged at this point. But Night in the Woods, Ogre Battle, FLCL, and The Fifth Element could all do with a facelift. I would add Ring of Red to the list but but help the poor soul who tries that. There's no art for it anywhere I've found.

Super sales on super heroes series sounds right up your alley then. Considering the highest overgod of the setting has decreed that powerful men WILL get a harem whether they want one or not. Its actually a pretty fun series. The mc has the power to change things he owns and some of the powers shown range from like clone themselves into a hivemind, be a fucking dragon, see all possible futures to pick and choose your path, instantly identify anything, suck the souls out of people for power and a bunch of others. It starts in a city ruled by a villain who has outlawed heroes.

Sadly not that I'm aware of. The best feeling method I've ever figured out was using something like the dragonflycave thing to determine something like my top 50-100 favorite Pokemon and then doing a survey of type frequency. Last time I did that I think fire and electric were really low while Ghost, Flying, Dragon, and something else were all high.

The Sodalite/Amathyst/Citrine Redeemers. All three gemstones are supposed to be helpful in clearing the mind of mental fatigue and outside influences (If you believe in that kind of thing. I don't but I have a friend who does.). And they would give you a good basis for Chapter colors too.

Actually reading this one already, though I've only finished the first book. Unfortunately it's part of a seemingly vast setting covered by a bunch of different book series that goes beyond what I'd be able to make a jump for in the relatively near future.

Yeah but each series is standalone. You CAN read them but most of them take place on different worlds or at different times. Its weird, the author likes all his books to be part of one big multiverse.

The fids crusade trilogy is pretty good. Its not a harem, in fact I would go so far as to say the mc doesnt do romance at all but that may be because he has surgically replaced every part of his human body piece by piece with superior vat grown biotech and nanobot versions. The mc is a villain who hates heroes nd is devoted to punishes those who call themselves that that he deems unworthy.
>>
>>94049780
So it's a series about Stain?
>>
>>94049795
Its about a villain who tries to occassionally do good things. Because a hero got his brother killed instead of trying to help them. So he has a sort of chip on his shoulder about the kind of people who use being a hero as a job instead of doing it to help others. He doesnt mind if you sell merchandise or whatever but you should be making sure you put saving people first, no stopping for a photo shoot in the middle of saving orphans from a fire. Also he does nor.al villain shit like stealing tech and such to improve his mech suits.
>>
>>94049823
So it's a series about Stain?
>>
>>94049826
Stain doesn't try to do good things.

But yeah, putting filler arcs aside, imagine a series where the first few arcs straight are just minor shit in the protags life before anything about the actual core plotline happens. And that's not counting movies and stuff where you literally do not have the time for anything but a quick to explain premise.

Commentary: Time for the Warriors of Light to rise once more. Since the normal party died a tragic death, it's up to Jumper and friends to fend of the Cloud of Darkness. there are a decent number of good, fun perks here. Onion Knight and Crimson Aspirations are always useful, to name just two. 2/2

I thought so to, but I was doing a self-imposed "be a pokemon in pokemon world" challenge and the most humanlike in both height and general body shape without being fat or something was Cyclizar. Everything else was a fucking midget, and even it is 5 foot 3. After going through that I kinda chilled on it and started to like the idea of the evolutions, though preferably I'd get some kind of Digimon power to temporarily evolve to one then go back to normal, then evolve to the other later.
>>
>>94050095
What, like, IS this line? Obviously meant to evoke Baphomet a little bit, but they look more like foxes than goats, but are they really foxlike at all? They're no Vulpix or Delphox line. And they look exoskeletal at parts? Really weird. I miss really weird basic Pokemon that aren't just a real-life animal exactly. If Rhyhorn/Rhydon were made today they'd just be fucking rhinos but kind of plastic looking.

>>
Is it possible for even a short tempered ass like me to befriend a pokemon?
>>
>>94050146
Because I was saving it for when someone made that connection but you all took so long that a bird decided it was a comfy spot to nap. Really, the fact there's a bird in the cocktail is on you all at this point.

I forgot about the song though. I was primarily referencing the restaurant greeting.

>>
>>94050095
Is it weird I love the aesthetics of Abra but hate the other two? Is there a way to make a Pokemon as strong as it would be fully evolved but without needing to evolve? I imagine we'd have something like that since that is basically what Pikachu is.
>>
>>94050131
>Obviously meant to evoke Baphomet a little bit
What, really? The Pokedex said they were humans with psychic powers who turned into that. So that, plus weird animal ears and mustache = somekind of human-dog thing.
>>
>>94050188
Yes, there are plenty of Pokemon like that, compatible with that, capable of balancing that out or alleviating it.
>>
>>94050179
>Yes, with pleasure
Why would anyone say that to them? This is dumb.
>>
>>94050188
Yeah, befriend a Primeape.
>>
>>94050240

>>
>>94050188
>>94050236
Anon should befriend a Mankey and the two of them could just go apeshit.
>>
>>94050188
You need a Primape. It's a monkey so angry that it can literally angry itself to death. According to the Pokedex at least.

You could also go with Jigglypuff. They tend to be little shits when they don't get the attention they want.

Then again, if you want to stop being a short tempered ass, there's a lot of Pokemon out there who could help calm you down. Milotic has the power to soothe emotions. Audino are supposed to be very conflict adverse in the wild.

>>94050218
You're a good sport anon.

>Get some catgirl minions.
>Get some MORE catgirl minions.
>Make a catgirl pop star group.
>Throw Prinnies secure in the knowledge that they'll come back pretty quickly.
>Create an entire domino-style chain reaction out of several hundred Prinnies that spells out a crude message when viewed from above.
>Hire some sexy demons to follow Laharl around and rest their boobs on his head whenever he gets too comfortable.
>Go to school.

Depends. Do they work, or are they capsules full of mercury and arsenic?
>>
>>94050511
Reminds me of everything supernatural in Native American lore being "medicine." Feels kind of unnatural but I guess these things are the closest thing to magic in real life anyway.
>>
>>94050522
They work AND are full of mercury and arsenic
>>
>>94049891
Lapras, of course. The scenes where Ash and the gang are riding one around were so cozy.
>>
>>94050528
Fun fact: alternative medicine doesn’t work. Because if it did work, it would be called…medicine
>>
>>94050531
Okay but why though.
>>
>>94050528
The closest thing to magic irl is the actual magic that exists via communing with demons, but you aren't ready for that conversation (do not try to conjure demons, it will not end well. They are evil and hate you.)
>>
>>94050488
Depends on the setting, if you're in some type of cultivator setting where you can achieve enlightment by hanging out in a cave and popping pills, than they should cost the same as a sandwhich.
In more mundane settings, or ones that don't have the secret to HUMAN IMMORTALITY, you'd be justified in charging enough to make you the richest human on earth, assuming big pharma doesn't kill you on sight.
>>
>>94050546
Because then if people try to copy the recipe they won't know why it actually works and will just poison people with mercury and arsenic.
>>
>>94050539
It's not called alternative because it doesn't work, it's called alternative because it's not widely recognized by the medical community.
There are plenty of non-alternative medicines that don't work or make things worse.
Yes, the majority of alternative medicine is bunk that doesn't work, but at one point WASHING YOUR HANDS would have been considered alternative medicine.

Yeah where I can kinda see the logic about an obscure medicine or potion working-it's magical bullshit, I don't see why pills are such a big deal.
Everything is a pill, a pill that everyone can magically take without water, and why is everything a pill? Where is the logic in that?
>>
You get a chain but Zeus is your dad and he keeps drunkenly showing up in your life at inopportune times.
>>
>>94050528
Oh that's pretty common worldwide. In Europe the belief that vampires were repelled by garlic arose from a couple of real-life sources like the fact that garlic has anti-bacterial properties and was used for things like throat infections. Before germ theory was a thing people just thought it had "purifying" properties.

To be fair Ares was born a pansy, Hephaestus was made a cripple, Dionysus was unhinged, Heracles was willing to bend over backwards for parental approval and Athena was the ultimate daddy's girl. The man had good reason to be complacent until Kratos came along in the God of War games.
>>
>>94050699
Log Horizon too.
>>
>>94050697
I think the switch to 3D made some of them look worse than the sprites or original art, and the picker uses 3D models from recent games so that's what you're seeing most of. It could also be a personal preference you never realized before. I personally like most Pokemon and will end up with like 55% of the total pool in my second round of decision making forward.
>>
>>94050343
How much trouble can Lamington and Midboss cause for someone who tries to kick Laharl out of the overlord's chair? She makes a much better waifu than a boss.
>>
>>94050714
Oh that's probably it actually. 3D was largely a pox on gaming.
>>
>>94050743
GameFreak also just made a bunch of really cool designs and then went and said "Here it is in the wrong size." You see a design and you think it's supposed to be a little baby or a giant monster and then you get a visual size comparison of it beside people and you're like "Oh wait this is just a guy. This could be someone's Halloween costume. I am taller than this monster."
>>
>>94050726
fem laharl is pure sexo.
>>
>>94050819
A better design than the main Laharl, honestly. I don't think some half-naked little dweeb with antenna hair is anyone's idea of a demon overlord. Deeply terrible weebshit aesthetics at work. Anyone with sense would have made him a classic red imp to start.

The main problem with the Demon Path is that it end with you/The MC devouring the fucking God of Dead (that was probably your only friend in that ending), which make you so powerful that you can kill the two others Gods;.. which end up destroying reality.
"Doesn't matter, it was fun". Sure, but good luck balancing that.

Assuming Laharl was a girl to start with she's probably not going to push Etna's daddy complex button, which means Etna won't be trying to groom him into a great overlord like his dad once Maderas is dealt with. >>
>>94051156
Yeah, pretty sure they stated it in the F/SN VN iirc. It's said to be his worst class because all it does is give him a minor boost to his already insane strength at the cost of not being able to think and make proper use of his impeccable skills.
>>
>>94051084

Awakened/Evil Laharl here we go.

Alright, made a build for Brawler Quetz. Honestly not my best work and I feel like I phoned in some of the descriptions, but on the whole I think it's a cool concept.

>>94051156
It's generally inferior since all it does is make him a very, very, very hard to kill stat monster at the expensive of tossing out most of his actual combat skills (which are extremely considerable) and ability to actively use his Noble Phantasms correctly. Archer meanwhile is his best class since he can spam hydra poison arrows and that's exactly as broken as you think it would be. The reason he got summoned as Berserker originally is because it makes him way, way, way easier to control compared to any of his normal incarnations which have immense willpower and strength of character.
>>
>>94051159
Yeah that guy does great work in general.
>>
>>94051156
It's the best class when you remember this is a very willful and pretty clever guy who may not go along with your desires/evil wizard bullshit. That's why the Einzberns summoned him as that.

It may seem wasteful, but imagine if he turned into another Gilgamesh and now Fate Gojo and Sukuna are doing the Fuyuki Showdown blowing up the whole city.

>>94051187
That's a thought. A giant rogue. Maybe a minotaur instead? Or a centaur? Both would have to basically lay down to check for traps and the idea of a centaur flopping down ass up to check for traps is pretty funny.

Good question! I don't know. Although now that I think on it I could easily imagine a mind flayer as a summoner or warlock for some kind of eldritch horror. A mind flayer cleric would probably sound like the abyss heralds from Genshin Impact. "By HoLy PrOcLaMaTiOn!"

What penalties should each sin give?

General misfortune. Getting splashed by cars after rainy days, getting hit by flying baseballs, wardrobe malfunctions - nothing lethal, but often enough and bad enough that they realize the world really IS out to get them. Watch them slowly but surely go stark raving mad.

The lives we live are made of millions of moments and experiences with their ups and downs. People have the potential for good and bad and part of the experience of life is to do both. To live is to be sinful and virtuous. There's nothing wrong with being sinful in moderation, it's a part of everyone because humans are humans. And you are going to punish everyone for the crime of living and being themselves? Throw yourself in hell first and stay there.

It is the dawn of a new era for Hyrule. An era without the threat of Calamity looming over it's horizon. An era in which we have seized the means of temporal progression, straightening out all possibilities into-

"Link, what's that?" asked the current iteration of Zelda.

"Oh, it's a relic from a possibility in which a minor disruption in the space-time continuum resulted in you getting your powers from an advanced race of goat people" I said dismissively.

"...huh. Goat people? You mean, the Zonai of legend?"

"The species I have carefully aligned causality to preserve without being responsible for the Hylian royal lineage, yes"

"Huh. Actually, could they be relatives of the Ooca?"

"Who knows? Gods tend to get around a lot, but the important thing is there is NO more Ganondorf to-"

Suddenly, a hole of reality ejected Ganondorf and an army of bosses under his command. "I LIVED" he bellowed, triumphantly. I squinted at the hole in reality behind him. I finally noticed that there was some sort of primordial void entity that the goddesses had sealed away since time immemorial.

...

"You know, I'm not even mad. This explains a LOT" I mused. "Convene the Council of Zeldas immediately and send an ambassador to the Zonai, we're going to need to start working on a way to attack the-"

"You're WIDE OPEN, fool!" shouted Ganondorf, blasting me with fell magic.

"No. No, fuck off, I'm busy. I'm not humouring this little song and dance anymore now there's an ACTUAL existential crisis to deal with" I said sharply. "You get one chance. One. Chance. To walk away before I throw aside the Hero of Hyrule LARP and show you how much strength I've accumulated through constant reincarnation in this world. THINK Ganondorf, THINK. Have you...have you EVER won against me?"

Ganondorf did not even think about it for a split second. After five seconds of endless defeat and rebirth flashed before his eyes, he lunged straight for my neck.

At which point I finger-flicked Ganondorf in the chest hard enough to blast him straight out of the atmosphere. That goat milk had made me strong even before I'd discovered so-called "cultivation" in one of these realities.

"I have work to do. Massive battle-carts of incalculable complexity to construct, just to manipulate the base resources of this world into something that can make the void bleed. Kneel or leave" I told the midbosses flatly.

They all knelt, except for two old ladies who once against shuffled off to try and figure out Ganondorf's flight trajectory.

Mao, as part of reclaiming their history from the century of humiliation, tried to bring that forward as actual medicine but most of it was bunk, but unfortunately generations of chinese were raised on it and is why they think huffing rhino horns will make them virile. This also effected their literature, and as most things in xianxia, these pills actually work like most crazy dumb shit the chinese do.

There's lots of anime, games, and general nerd culture stuff in that setting, if you know where to look for it. They never go into much detail about it, but several characters are obsessed with stuff like that, including Flonne.
You could also just travel, level grind, or add to your waifus collection by just reincarnating people into hot demon bodies. Succubi are cool and all, but I personally like the Nekomata.
Or that one Alraune from Disgaea 2. You know the one.

>>94050008
I've never heard such a thing, but I also don't keep track of every little thing, so maybe? That sounds like something Taro would put in as a tragic/deranged fuck you.
Like, Yorha are basically programmed to be obsessed with humans, and not in a super healthy way, but rather more of an otaku kindof way. You could probably steer them towards healthier ways of interaction, but it's likely you'll get some robots watching you sleep and stealing your undies in the interim.
Also, pretty much the entirety of Yorha gets infected by the Red Eye Virus late-game, and become murderously crazy towards everything, including themselves, so you probably wouldn't be spared beyond that point.

... yandere robots.

I'm really bad at choosing what jumper's Pokemon team was, because, like, there are so many options, and I am very indecisive. But one of the more consistent picks was "The Biggest Pigeot," which was literally just a Pidgey I caught and then proceeded to supplement the hell out of with all those Pokevitamins, until it eventually evolved into something that was like twice the size of a normal Pigeot.
I did this because Pigeot is one of Gary's more recurrent Pokemon, and despite being a very common Pokemon you hardly ever see them in peoples' lineups, even for NPCs. And they're pretty and also neat. I just think they're neat.
So yeah, my jumper had an Alpha Pigeot.

>Hey guys, how's your chain stuff?
Finally got Quetz's build done leaving me with a grand total of 100 points for my own build. This chain is off to a very slow start, but at least I'm good at getting people to teach me how to do stuff so I can kinda get by even without much of a build. Quetz is probably gonna help me pick up lucha and guitar, and I can probably nag Rin help get some of my mage basics down before I gotta skip town. That's all cool. How's things going over there?

I wish we had a jump for Insurgence so I could get armor for a Flygon. Or a Mega Stone.

I've come up with an idea to have Ouroboros Jumper fake being four different powerful figures, with each having a different theme using different sets of Syndromes from Double Cross each. I've got ideas for the Bram Stoker/Chimera/Exile identity, the Angel Halo/Hanuman/Solaris identity, and the Black Dog/Morpheus/Neumann identity, but the last one, the Balor/Orcus/Salamandra, I'm a little more iffy about.

For reference, Balor's power theme is gravity. Controlling gravity, manipulating gravity, attacking people with gravity, fucking with time using gravity, etc. Orcus theme is about using particles you spread out to influence a certain area and everything in it, from controlling the land, to teleporting anywhere the particles have been spread to, to controlling and enhancing people and animals in it, or weakening them, etc. While Salamandra is all about controlling hot and cold, fire and ice, winds and storms and plasma and more.

Best I've got for that is the Dungeon Master/Evil Overlord type, creating a floating fortress using Balor and using it to spread that identity's 'territory. It's a little more difficult to come up for immediate ideas for that combo, compared to the other trios, which all have similar themes like 'brutal, horrific physical power, transformation, and abilities', 'sensory manipulation, hit & run tactics, and mind fuckery' and 'science, invention, creation, and intelligence'.

...I'm not gonna lie, this is kind of a weird jump. There's fewer perks than I was expecting and fewer that I care about. Most of the items are just different kinds of vehicles or military bases, and I'm not terribly into those either. I literally ended up buying the 100 cp perk from each origin just to have stuff to buy.

I also forgot I get a free plane and a free base, so, uh. Fuck I have a personal plane. Bit weird for a poltician with Aviophobia to have a personal plane, but I'm going to chalk that up to having chosen to be Belkan nobility. In the meantime, I gave it the thruster upgrade ten times because my only priority if I get into a dogfight is going to be getting OUT of said dogfight. Just fucking try and catch me, I dare you. Meanwhile, my base has no weapons. I'm going to say that it's a school or something. Which I'm nominally in charge of because reasons. Maybe the reason it's so fancy is because it's built into my noble estate or something? I'm sure it will get blown up at some point but that's honestly fine as long as I don't get blown up too.
>>

And on that note, can I get some jumps that start with the letter T? Theme of spies if possible, but otherwise just throw some stuff at me.

Toriko had something like that, it was one of the fancy knife techniques. I think it's technically purchasable under Dark Techniques, with the Revitalization Technique. You'll need the Revitalizing Kitchen Knife, though, which is in the Items section. They also had knives that were sharp enough to slice up a mountain from an air slice that came from a casual flick of the knife that came from a guy who could probably be beat up by a group of high schoolers, so that's probably also useful. There's an entire cave of the stuff they use for the whetstones for those knives, which is also an ingredient when you take the dust that comes off of it.

A few of the porn jumps had the ability too, the Monster Hunter one did if I remember right.

It probably doesn't help that this just isn't the jump for you. Like, genuinely, you've said before how completely uninterested you are in flying, when that's the entire point of the setting. It's not really a jump or setting designed for someone completely uninterested in those things.

I mean I don't actually mind AC. I've made builds for it before where I went all in on not only making a comfy base, but making my comfy base one of the flying ships. With a bajillion missiles. It's one of those go big or go home kind of deals, and on jump #2 I'm just not ready to go big yet. Which kind of leaves me in a lurch.

My long term plan for the jump is probably just to buy things, because while I don't technically want or need any superweapons, this stuff is still way better than 'normal' earth stuff. Hopefully I hit up strike witches later to turn them into magical girl equipment.
>>
>>94053264
>Fated Interstice of Celestial Forces
Surprised by that.Thought there would be more stuff for being Exalted Thrawn or Yularen .
>>
>>94053364
>Exalted Thrawn or Yularen
That would be the Lunar capstone, but the thing is projecting CHARMS on a large scale was in the Solars’ wheelhouse. It was a major plot point in the setting that the Stellar Intelligences sabotaging the Solars diminished their ability to salvage the crumbling Empire infrastructure, and with the Solars out of the picture it was hard for everyone left behind to hold it all together.
>>
>>94052607

The tremendous, hilarious irony of fem!Laharl is that she makes an overwhelmingly superior Overlord. The demons are all waifufags so they're all annoyed at having to follow Laharl because he's a bratty little shit. But the INSTANT he turns into Demon Queen Laharl, every single vassal under her becomes willing to fucking die to destroy anything that even slightly inconveniences her.

So ironically dethroning fem!Laharl is going to be incredibly difficult whereas dethroning regular Laharl would be almost effortless.

As far as chain stuff Ive been working my way through all the exalted jumps that let me be an alchemical to pick up different castes. Just missing adamant caste now but thats ok and the moonsilver caste is a bit fucky due to being originally a lunar exaltation.

Thinking of going to first age as a solar and grabbing that kingdom with maxxed out stuff eventually. Not sure what jump robo jumper should hit next though.
>>
>>94053457
Yes? Cheat’s core gimmick is that you have a certain power so bullshit that it’s on par with “I can make my wishes come true”, most of the buildup to it is simply learning to git gud at it. As for Allegory, at the high end it lets you steal miracles/powers/traits/abstract concepts from people (because your “role” is so strong it’s overriding other people’s), Imbue lets you attach a principle like “cannot be defeated” to a person or object, and Limitless lets you tell reality to fuck off with certain caveats. In general the remainder Allegory roles are about your role trumping reality in precedence or transfiguring stuff in ways related to your role. Wonder-Worker got very game-ified, but in Chuubo’s system it’s intended to let you physically work with miraculous energy directly-like say, to try to deflate an ongoing miracle.

Was kind of crazy when reading a Chinese web novel set in modern day where the MC unironically thought traditional Chinese medicine as an actual thing that could heal.

I get it was a cultivation story behind the masquerade, so there was some allowances, but it still was weird.

Nta, but plenty of people in the west also fully buy into alternative medicine like acupuncture, homeopathy, Chiropractic

>>94053554
The foundation of treating all medical problems through pressure on the back is just as idotic though. And often dangerous as well.

Like the same way using mint oil to slightly relive pain or eucalyptus oil to clear your nose are possible to some degree, but people trying to actually cure ilnesses through essential oils and refusing medical treatment are also stupid.

Some herbal medicines actually DO work, but most of that stuff is bullshit.

>>94053590

Randomly remembered the Strutter from the Dinotopia books AND the Apparatus of the Crab from D&D/Pathfinder existed at the same time.

I was going to try to think of an actual question, but I decided I just wanted ya'll to know that you can get a semi-intelligent amphibious crab mech.
>Dinotopia (Books) - Strutter (General, 400 CP)- The strutters were large, mechanical automatons built by Poseidos to replace dinosaur labor. You can take your pick from a variety of machines, which were built to mimic the natural forms of dinosaurs and other creatures. The strutters lack weapon systems, but generally have physical abilities matching their natural counterparts. For instance, a sea crab strutter has powerful claws and sturdy armor, while a ceratopsian version can briefly sprint forward at fast speeds for either charging or escaping. To run normally, the strutters require a sunstone (yours doesn’t need one, but adding one gives it additional energy). The sunstone also activates a very limited artificial intelligence that cooperates with the pilot for more fluid body movement. However, the artificial intelligence remains active as long as the sunstone is in place, and without a pilot to manage it, the machine may go on a mild rampage, causing general havoc as it behaves like a wild beast.

>Pathfinder - Apparatus of the Crab [200] on first glance, it appears to be a large, iron barrel. However, there’s a hidden catch that opens one of the ends. Once inside, there are 10 levers that perform the various functions, covering/uncovering portholes, extending or retracting the legs, snapping the pincers and swimming. Contains “eyes” with magic fire in them, allowing for use underwater. If that’s not enough, this variation will provide unlimited air for its occupants, and you’re able to pull multiple levers at the same time.

I have been thinking about my time in D&D and was wanting to make some items to sell in Sigil. The only problem is things I would find useful for others tend to be considered artifacts by the locals. That is one bad way to draw a lot of attention on yourself. I mean, who can just casually keep selling artifacts while claiming they are failures and not needed by the crafter?

So have another build, Jumpers once again a prince of... Kent of all things though admittedly probably a unneeded one if his father giving him over to the britons for peace as a hostage was any indication or hint. Growing up the latter half of his childhood in King Uther courts probably more then a bit awkward until he gets news about his whole family getting murdered by some rivals out east. So thats gonna be a whole campaign and adventure to avenge them. Probably retake the throne if only to make sure some bastard doesn't get it, maybe slay a dragon along the way. But after that... probably try to make peace with the britons. Still the invasions further west on the island if he can. Though I'm don't think that'd do anything to change camelots eventual fate.

Getbackers had a mess of a story. That's why nobody talks about it. You could pick six different chapters at random and likely get six entirely different tones and genres from them.

People care about properties they already know. It's easy to just lurk in the thread and become a secondary about the more popular ones. It's much harder to look through the drive and realize you need to watch or read something in order to understand what is going on in an unfamiliar setting. Pick up Asura Cryin and tell me if you understand how high the power levels are or what's actually going on with the tech there without wiki diving at least a little.

I'll reiterate. People care about properties they already know. Jumpmakers like to make niche properties most of the time because that's what interests them. So a lot of settings don't get discussed.
>>
>>94055476
Ric, I think the issue is , just how many jumps you have. Like some of the ones I saw, and I think were done by you, are Seiken Tsukai no World Break, Harem Kingdom, Alchemy Meister, etc.

That and the fact you have what I like to call rare Jumps, or stuff that didn't make it onto the drive, makes it kinda hard to know well what you worked on.

Still, love the work on the ones I know are your work. Have a guilty pleasure with Sekirei and Campione.....mostly ecchi shounen but still.

But if you want to rant about other series you like please, go ahead!

How you doing by the by?

Yeah the royalty line in Fate camelot is danm good especially combined with spirit tracks and link to the pasts builds well more spirit tracks but still. Danm decent leader. I was thinking fire emblem next jump if I wanted to keep up the kingdom stuff since Archanea has a scenario that lets you rebuild a kingdom. Go get weapons and armors yourself. I forgot cookbook existed, people still use horses?, and I think paraglider was supposed to be in one of the cut origins. I'll make it a general item or something.

Sounds like you’ve got a plan similar to my own Archanea build. I started out as the ruler of a dragon kingdom and an old king I knew asked me to take care of his kingdom, so I not only had to revitalize the kingdom but also bring dragons and humans together, a very Fire Emblem goal.

If you're ok with just the settings you visited during the chain, you might be able to use Lord JUMPER from Umineko Catbox as an path.

Otherwise, mayyybe combine a multiverse traveling perk normally limited to a single setting like Walker of Worlds from Greek Myth or Mallory Crossover from Haruhi Suzumiya and then combine it with something that allows it to improve endlessly and surpass its limiations. Maybe Rule Breaker from Owari no Seraph?
If you pick this route I'd expect it to be an immense task potentially surpassing the Spark scenarios themselves, but it might work as a contingency upon chainfail idk.

>>94053878
Fate Zero has a useful perk for incorporating the abilities and perks of others that you're collaborating with when crafting an item, It's the capstone of the Kayneth inspired background.

And iirc the Gamer jump had a perk to allow you to create magical items with any spell that you're able to cast.

Fluffing Touhou (PC-98). I was right, the juices started flowing much easier when I ditched having a dedicated drop-in origin. Anyway, I'm unsure whether enemies dropping items should be free during the jump.

On one hand, they are a vital and pretty much universal element of Touhou games. On the other hand "items" in touhou are pure game abstractions (as in, the game doesn't even try to justify them as in-universe objects, they're just cubes with letters on them), so I'm not sure whether to consider them "cannon". For context, the types of items in these games are: Power (increases the power of your bullets), Score (increases your score), Bomb (single-use screen-clear spell), and Lives (1up).
>>
>>94055884
For the record, if it is free in this jump, it'll be a plus-charge to keep going forward.

>Go get weapons and armors yourself
The point of buying them is that it's fiatbacked, so not destructible. Because fuck that kind of mechanic, especially in Jumpchain.
Plus the Master Sword is TotK is (even stronger) against Gadondorf. Or just given the ability of ping pong darkness.

>I forgot cookbook existed
Pfft, fair, but it's still funny.

>people still use horses?
Yeah duh? Everyone would?
Plus you think I'm gonna make a tank or flying machine-on ground that cost me ores and ressources to make, when I could just use my turbo chad horse?

I mean yeah, but where are the gloom weapons and effect?
>>
>>94055872
Looking through it... yeah the Manateke origins really tempting. Especially with its ruling perks though i'm not sure if that'd clash to much with jumpers plans. Then again manatekes are basically just elves who can turn into dragons functionally (even if its vice versa on paper). So maybe dipping a few toes into dragonhood would be alright.
Would be a hell of a demographic to bring to the kingdom to.

Maybe they're an abstraction of a different mechanic? For example, destroyed fairies might lose the natural energy they had in their bodies.

Stuff like plants and fungi have power, that's how Marisa keeps up in raw power despite being human (and hard work and that one of her sources of magic is a mini-hakkero, but you know). So the ideas like high ambiental energy after releasing multiple spellcards, or if you beat a powerful youkai the energy that they had and didn't spend had to go *somewhere*, might not be that absurd.

Without any lore basis for it, I'd keep it as a perk, but not give it for free. Free perks are usually stuff that are like inherent, acknowledged mechanics of the world, or something nearly everyone important involved in the jump possesses. Paying for something like that would literally just be like a tax on the Jumper just to keep up with everyone else.
But if no one actually acknowledges it and it's purely a game abstraction, then it's pretty safe to say it's not actually a thing in-universe, so being without it wouldn't put you behind.

Though I was thinking more post game how that'd last long term given marth and a whole buncha kingdoms just finished a war against a dragon empire and heres a dragon kingdom that just got refounded if the kigndom building scenarios taken along with the fertility issue being solved. Feels like longer down the line there could be some conflict again though admittedly probably not within any human lifetime.

Hi Cheerful. Today is complicated. Work is pretty easy but I've got some personal stuff bothering me that's not the kind of thing I'd blog about on the board. Trying to keep myself distracted with some jump work between little jobs. But I appreciate you asking. How's your day off been?

>>94056236
Battle Angel Alita (Or GUNNM as it's called on the drive) is a pretty good place to look for Post-Humanity Martial Arts. Which is kind of a catch-all term they use for martial arts developed for use on other planets, those created to allow regular humans to combat full body androids, the ones designed around using non-traditional body shapes, and others made to take advantage of the superior strength of androids.

Some of it gets ridiculous, but honestly the series still has some of my favorite fight scenes of all the manga I've read.

It's unoriginal, but I like them. Don't read many vampire works in the first place.
Honorable mention goes to Don Quixote in Limbus, but I'm gonna have to see her canto before declaring her wife material.
Her new EGO is REALLY going for that Archetype Earth look though, feels pretty blatant.

Pretty good. Feeling much better now that I had a day to laze around. Other than that nothing much. Just lurking around, hoping more interesting jumps come about, reading stuff on forums, the usual. Mom's feeling better, so there is also that.

Hope that you manage to solve your personal stuff, and that all will be well.

The blade was made by Naga, so it’s not impossible. I did say it was a maybe though, it was given to Anri so it would also make sense for them to keep it.

>Though I was thinking more post game how that'd last long term given marth and a whole buncha kingdoms just finished a war against a dragon empire and heres a dragon kingdom that just got refounded if the kigndom building scenarios taken along with the fertility issue being solved. Actually, it might help things. The war had Medeus, a dragon, and Gharnef, a human, as the bad guys. Having a kingdom of dragons join forces with several human kingdoms to stop them should quell concerns.

Naga will show up one day in the middle of your court and very politely ask you some pointed questions about your divine/draconic intervention policies and how much precise control you have over the mortals day to day lives. As long as you aren’t basically a tyrant then everything will be fine. If you are then you’ll get Marth’d fairly shortly.

For comparison the dragon who gave her nation basically nonstop blessings of fertility to the point where farmers didn’t exist because you didn’t need to farm, the place just grew that much food ‘naturally’ was in the Too Much category. As long as your nation doesn’t collapse if you were to leave you should be fine.

The design of the characters is just awful. The entire cast looks like Genshin impact rejects with all the accessories they are plastered with.
Colgate-chan could have been the hottest lord in the entire fire emblem franchise if she had a single hair color and could actually turn into a dragon. The entire game you have people going "Sasuga divine dragon-sama!!" But you never turn into one

>For comparison the dragon who gave her nation basically nonstop blessings of fertility to the point where farmers didn’t exist because you didn’t need to farm, the place just grew that much food ‘naturally’ was in the Too Much category.
I think Naga’s issues with Mila were more because of her backing her brother’s actions.
>When humans began to exist in the land, the dragons offered them much knowledge, allowing them to prosper and advance, eventually creating an extravagant city known as Thabes. However, Duma grew wary of the humans and feared that they had grown too powerful. He sent his soldiers to Thabes and had it destroyed in three days, leaving the remaining survivors to scatter across the continent.
>This would result in Naga becoming furious over Duma's actions and exacted harsh judgment on him, causing Duma to clash against Naga in a ferocious battle. Though his sister sided with him, they were no match for Naga and her forces, and surrendered after nine days of battle that caused extensive damage across the land. The battle had scarred Duma and also hurt Naga and made her fangs splinter and scatter across the realm.
>For their transgressions, Duma and Mila were exiled from the land. Before he departed, Naga bestowed one of her fangs that was carved into a blade that would be named Falchion to him. This weapon was intended to be used against him and Mila by humans should the need arise where they degenerate into madness and need to be put down.
>Afterwards, Duma and Mila traversed the ocean for seven days before they finally reached the continent of Valentia, which they would claim as their new home. There, they would become patron deities in the land.

Seras, Evileye/Landfall, and Remillia Scarlet. Admittedly the last one is mostly because of them supposedly being a descendant of Dracula which makes it amusing to me.

How does a vampire in love with other vampires work anyway? Can they even drink blood from one another? I know in VtM they'd have to deal with the blood bond or whatever so that's a downer.

Decide that since you want the casuals, it has to have a fucking gacha mechanic in it like the mobile game. Also make the plot the most barebones one in the series with the opening just being a worse version of the fates opening.
>>94056586
Also have to add in, don't even tell your designers what characters go together and have no world building to make the characters look like they have designs that go together thematically.

The one thing I will argue for Engage is that compared to the designs of some of the characters, Alear’s red and blue hair is downright reasonable.

>>
>>94056656
Indeed, Pespi hair is in-universe odd and exists for plot reasons, plus Alear's outfit looks at least kind of fitting design wise for the setting. Still looks dumb though. Far from the worst offender in engage, but that's an abysmally low bar to pass.
>>
>>94049849
The more realistic a person's growth and maturation, the less relatable they are. It's a bitch and a half, but the monolith of ulterior experience is so extreme that any sense of emotional connection becomes impossible. Worse, it might actually be impossible; it's very likely to alienate an audience who doesn't want to participate in the character's psychological conditioning by proxy.

Counterbalancing this is to recall that the public in large subsists by believing in a vague but intuitive definition of humanity from which each person deviates. They don't need to know everything, just the parts that are distinctive. Whether that's appropriate or not, I'm not well-paid enough to contemplate.
>>
>>94056586
I wouldn't say the entire cast, just almost everyone. Which is actually giving you a point in the end.
The Colgates are perhaps the better designed characters, with the only thing wrong being the hair, and I ended up liking them. It grows on you. Maybe like cancer, but it does.
I liked doing looking at FemColgate's hair swaying, I even ended up just doing circle in the castle.

Right, not just the plot, the game in general feels bare. Yeah the UI is pretty crap as well, and even what you actually do in said menus.
>I dunno about worse, since at least, it's honest.
Fair point I guess, still the point of scenes like that is to try to get you to care and I feel fates did a bit of a better job with that. I hate praising fates, but the bar has been set lower than it now. At least that game had some world-building.
>>
>>94056556
Oh well thats not a problem then. Jumpers far from a tyrant and happy to let folks live as they wish as long they pay attention to some basic ground rules. He tends to take a indirect approach to ruling if he can offering solutions and only getting directly involved if asked.
>>94056572
>Having Pegasi and Wyverns alone would make your nation a force to be reckoned with, having dragons and magic will greatly add to that
...Gonna be honest I didn't even think about pegasi and wyverns, couple in those with magic and the whole dragonstone you can reproduce that humans can use and... oh god yeah that is quite a leap in military I didn't think all the way through a bit. Still it should work.
Probably actually would hand out copies of the human-dragonstone out to kingdom residents. That feels like it'd be a good way to try and blur the lines between humans and manatekes. Just need to find some practical solution to the lifespan option and you'd have a... very interesting society potentially.

Jump 5:Fire emblem Archanea
Location: Altea
Origin: Manateke (Divine):-300
Perks
>The exception: Free
>Magical gift of dragons: Free
>I am me:-100

Items
>Realm of dragons:-300
Drawbacks
>Helping the hero king:+200
>Marked by Eremiah

>Bring glory back to the dragons
>Rebuilding a country

So... this will be interesting bringing along into future worlds. Think I might flavor it as a island nation maybe new zealand size somewhere out in the ocean. Wouldn't want it to be that disruptive in future jumps if all of a suddenly there was just a kingdom of dragons popping up in human lands. Or I guess it could be its own dimension to potentially. Heading back to hyrule/the world of hyrule with it would be interesting to. "Well at least I don't just have to be the spare prince of the hylian royal family, needed as much as a fifth wheel on a car all the time."

I can see that reasoning, it's still disappointing to see from a series that can make stuff so much better than this, they literally made a good game right before this one. I'd rather they try and fumble the ball hard rather than making something that feels like a mobile game with a triple-a budget.

>Animal Crossing Townsfolk
They just accept it as another of their mayor's "wacky secret projects" that he kept secret until it was ready to show off. It wouldn't be the first time he's pull that trick.
>Canine Kobolds and Dragon Kobolds
They've simply gotten used to it at this point. In fact, a lot of them keep making requests for new properties that they can't just make themselves. Like a dairy farm. There's no cows or sheep in any of Owl's towns so they keep asking him to import some. No, the Animal Crossing Villagers don't count. Don't be gross.
>Feylines
They haven't experienced that phenomenon yet, seeing as they only have had one visit to the villages between worlds. But they'll probably roll with it pretty easily. These guys are very relaxed when not in combat situations.
>>
>>94057226
In my previous chain that had a jumper picking up lots of properties he specifically had an entire section of government whose whole task was to go in and survey new properties and territories and prep them for expansion by the rest of his pocket civilization. He had gone to bronze age collapse and would use his ridiculous money to either purchase huge swaths of land in modern settings or would just outright conquer new territory in settings where there wasn't any real competition capable of stopping him. By the time the chain had ended he basically had a pocket empire with like several galaxies worth of territory because he automated robotic scout / survey ships whose whole purpose was to just fly out to star systems and set up outposts on various planets, or in orbit of gas giants and such, in order to "claim" the entire planet since there was no other competing claims on them. Jumper was able to repeat this particular trick in just about every single setting that had space but didn't actually use it or take place in space, like pretty much all jumps set on a modern-ish Earth. His maps and trade route info from item pickups in Elite Dangerous also made it a lot easier and informed his civilization where all the best systems to claim were.
>>
>>94057183
>Though Im kinda not sure how they will do against bullets and bombs
They should do all right, actually. Dragonblooded can be superhumanly tough and can learn charms that improve their skills with modern weapons, so you can have an army of A-Teams, if the A-Team was made up of Rambo, Chuck Norris, John Wick, and Bruce Lee.
>>
>>94057292

>>94057579
Welp... at least its not modern DC?
>>94057590
Fair it is Jump 1. Jumper can't get ahead of himself quite yet. His first priority is to survive, get a hold of himself and then go from there.
