Second thread, continuation of the first, designing wives for people's characters. Roll of 7,8 or 9 on a d10 lets them have two, roll of a 10 gets them two and lets them roll again.

As per last thread, just so you don't have to backtrack a lot:
Formerly Jack Mourningwood, now Mournival the Hunter.

> Delver from Heart: The City Beneath
> Human Cleaver: heartsblooded huntsman that consumes his prey to grow stronger.
> Born to a wealthy family, left it behind.
> Was once the teen apprentice to an older Cleaver named Cassandra (She wrote books. She's dead now.)
> Trying to earn the hunter's afterlife: the Forest, basically Valhalla for hunters and great beasts.
> A bit of a fop at first, but knowledgeable about Heart and its wildlife.
> Fiercely loyal and merciless to enemies.
> Remarkably gentle with children.
> Strong moral compass-- often to his detriment.

Tall, relatively ordinary looking guy originally. Handsome but average in height before the mutations, he's now over six feet, with wooden antlers, bone claws, razor-sharp teeth, etc. Despite this he dresses a bit like a Bloodborne character-- nice coat and breeches, dress shirt, hunting boots, etc. Looks a bit out of place that way, but he clings to the trappings of humanity out of fear of losing himself to the transformation.

He has an adopted son-- an infant Drow named Damon who was born with the Witch virus. Jack doesn't really remember how he ended up with him, he was briefly insane at the time, but he's since grown attached and would do anything for him.

Forgot to add an image. Shameful.

Build-wise:
> Skills: Hunt, with a Knack for chasing down prey; Kill, with a Knack for slashing weapons; and Endure.
> Domains: Wild, Warren, Desolate and Cursed environments
> Wields a giant siege weapon of a bow made of bones, and an equally massive cleaver.
> Can detect the strongest enemy in a given area and summon wild animals to cause a distraction.
> Grows more durable the deeper he goes, and is extra resistant to unwanted mutation.
> Can eat just about anything, gaining new skills and knowledge, or empowering/healing himself.
> Unarmed attacks pierce armor and weaken enemies.
> Can voluntarily become more monstrous, dealing more damage and ignoring injuries, at the risk of permanent mutation.

As of the end of our campaign (recent)
> Killed one of his allies to protect Damon from him.
> Built a big hunting lodge in the underground forest.
> Adopts lost children and welcomes weary travelers.
> Keeps a pot of perpetual stew on the fire.
> Will go on to mutate like hell until he's inhumanly large and weird.
> People know him as Mournival the Hunter now, and his home as The Hunter's Lodge.
> Doesn't dress as fancy anymore, since nobody makes shirts his size...
"Besides... humanity is in your guts. Not your hide."

I'd like to repost my request from last thread. It was #14 on the master list given here. >>94435541

I can reroll if you'd like, but the original roll was an 8, if that can stand. I can also provide any other information you might require. I'll also repost his stats.

System: Dragonquest, hybridized between 2E and 3E

Elbir. Human male, age 26 years old.
Aspect, Autumn Stars.

Physical Strength 16
Manual Dexterity 18
Agility 22
Endurance 17 Fatigue 21
Magic Aptitude 5
Willpower 16
Perception 10

Social Status status: Legitimate, lesser nobility.

Not adept in any magical college

He can read, write, and speak Common at Rank 9, Elfir at Rank 4, Kogash at rank 4.
He is a rank 2 healer, a rank 3 courtier, and a rank 2 military scientist.

Weapon wise, he is rank 10 with a rapier, rank 6 with a dagger, rank 7 with a main-gauche, and rank 5 with a sabre.

He has no additional skill in stealth and +10 at Ride.

Possessions: He travels light, owning a copy of each weapon he has ranks with as well as standard Elfiri military camping equipment. He owns a set of chainmail, but rarely wears it unless expecting battle. He possesses 200 Silver Shillings.

Elbir is the third son of a minor landholder near the capital of the nation of Telb. While all Telbian nobility are expected to have some skill at arms, Elbir truly mastered the combat arts, and made a name for himself as a master duelist at a very young age. However, his skill with a blade combined with a rash temper, and in a duel stemming from a gambling dispute, he slew the prime minister's oldest son. That derailed his tournament career and military prospects, and he's been exiled to one of the Elfiri keeps to watch against raids from desert raiders.

>Not many would deny the existence of magic whilst A) being magical in nature and B) living above a talismongers but hey, its not like someone like that exists, right. Oh wait, thats this guy.

>Due to some things he does not want to acknowledge in his past he actively blocks out which totally didnt involve any harrowing magical rituals involving children, He does not believe that magic exists. If he ever encounters magic,he simply explains it away with some technobabble he heard from his Vtuber roommates streams, which usually have a lot of special effects. So much that she takes up 90% of the small apartment they share and he lives in a closet.

>For example, a fiery hell dog about to bite you? Clearly a drone. Look, he can punch it, its clearly not real. You cant punch ghosts, duh. Magical Blood Ritual about to happen? Nah, thats just some DND shit, wont work. Being made LITERALLY invisible and super fast? Nah man, im just built different, i can blend in anywhere. If anyone even tries to say its magic he always finds some completely logical explanation for it, he totally isnt grasping at straws. Clearly there was tiny bombs in that food.

>You’d think that the whole magic denial would make him more of a tech guy, but you’d be wrong. Beyond his beloved dirt bike and his pistol, he tries to say off the grid as MUCH as possible. He keeps his busted as fuck commlink that is effectively just an MP3 player that takes calls in a faraday pocket along with his credstick and fake sin so that no weird deckers can fuck with his stuff. Not that they would since he has no tech on him, Plus he cant even access the internet without throwing up. Hell, his Pistol is an Ares Predator (2050), its so old it doesnt even have smart functionality.

>When he isnt running he's usually pretending to be a PI. His cases usually end up with him shooting someone with ADPS or punching a spirit whilst denying its existance. They all hate him for this.

>>94435363

It is a profoundly boring backwater post, and Elbir has turned to drinking from the boredom. He will befriend the PCs if they show him respect for his skills or sympathy for his plight, although he retains enough honor to not abandon his post, no matter what incentives are offered, unless he can have enough run up time to formally resign. He will be more than happy to train any PCs with the blade if he's befriended them. He absolutely despises Kovar, the keep's commander, and would very much appreciate it if any action of the PCs tweaks the commander's nose.

I'm assuming you don't play Dragonquest, so for context on those stats; a 15 is an average adult human male in all stats except for perception, where it's 8. So he's lousy at magic, but above average in most physical endeavors as well as willpower, and he's very fast an agile.

Rank 9 with a language is advanced speaker/reader/writer, he is an educated elite. For Elfir and Kogash, he's proficient enough to get the gist of a message across, but true precision eludes him.

His non-combat skills of healer, courtier, and military scientist are all in the kind of amateur but still much better than the completely untrained, while his weapon skills are all advanced, except for the rapier, where he's at peak human mastery.

Reposting my own build from last thread to clean it up somewhat. Original here: >>94433959
Lucien Mephel
Level 20 Human Wizard/Ardent/incantatrix/dweomerkeeper/void disciple/wyrm wizard
Str:23(12)
Dex:28(17)
Con:25(14)
Wis:71(60)
Int:76(60)
Cha:71(60)
(Yes, these stats are fucked. original post explains the campaign more)

Long ago, Lucien woke up without a single memory in Thay of all gods-forsaken places. Despite the odds, he managed to avoid being crushed under the heels of the magocratic red wizards by bullshitting himself as a disgraced wizard apprentice. He was a lot bolder back then, he quickly realized his own cleverness above and beyond the common person when he taught himself wizardry from the disparate notes locals considered nothing but trash and he only continued to prove his own superiority to himself He thought himself special, above the peasants. Destined for greatness.

He's a very different man now. He's scarred, paranoid, and nearly driven to hopeless behind a facade of indomitably he shows his men.

It started when the dimension wound opened, the world split apart by some experiment in the local imaskari ruins. Thay found a world on the other side and began a war of conquest, enlisting all they could find with promises of riches, nobility and glory.

It was a long and bloody war.

The other side was stronger than they could have imagined. Their styles were alien and thay was unprepared for their retaliation. The only reason the armies heald was because they through waves of walking dead to weaken their enemies as the red wizards wove their circles.

And it only got worse.

Lucien himself has seen wonders that the mortal mind is not equiped to understand. He's fought along with legends, warriors that could split mountains with a single swing, conjurers that could call armies from the plains, illusionists that could make the unreal into the real. All of them grander that He could ever hope to be.

And they are all dead.

As it turns out i could not fit anymore into the lore bit, so im just gonna do that in a third post for posterity. Mostly just explaining what Eidetic Sense/3D memory are. Eidetic Sense memory is basically photographic memory. 3D memory is the real fun one. In short you can basically recreate an area in your mind perfectly and walk around it in your mind, and basically Detective mode the place. Stuff you would have passed off automatically like smell becomes a thing you can look for, etc. This is why he's a PI cause that plus a Photo Memory equals real easy case solving.

Oh yeah, also his counterspelling is pretty much just pointing at the spell and going "Nah" to it. Like if he countered a fireball he'd just go "Nah, firework" or some other hair brained explanation and the world says "Ok" and gets rid of it. Like how Phil makes fun of Steven here. https://youtu.be/DdZre_JAvnE?t=109

His general demeanor can also be described in a very simple way: He is, both physically and spiritually, fucking tired. Would you like to know more?

Reposting my submission. Number 18 on the master list given here. >>94435541

System: Cyberpunk Red
Name: William Stucki
Role: Netrunner

Int:8
Reflex:4
Dex:8
Tech:8
Cool:7
Will: 6
Luck: 3
Move: 8
Body: 4
Empathy: 6

Skills:
Concentration 3, Perception 5, Athletics 4, Resist torture/drugs 3, Stealth 6, Accounting 2, Bureaucracy 2, Cryptography 2, Deduction 2, Education 2, Street slang 2, English 4, Local Expert home 2, Library search 2, Brawling 2, Evasion 4, Melee Weapons 4, Acting 3, Bribery 3, Conversation 3, Human Perception 3, Persuasion 3, Personal Grooming 1, Streetwise 3, Wardrobe and Style 1, Electronics/security tech 5, First aid 2, Forgery 4, Pick Lock 4

Cyberware: Neural Link, Cyberdeck (W/ Crunch Whistle, pairs with Agent W/ Breacher) , Cyber Eyes (Virtuality overlay)

William stands just over six feet tall, and could best be described as lithe, with dark hair kept short close to his skull. He wears simple sturdy hard wearing clothing in dark colors and soft soled shoes. His lack of distinctive style itself makes a statement when surrounded by the bright colors and flash of poser gangers. The only bit of his wardrobe that really stands out are a nice pair of mirrored ray-ban style shades. Most would say he's handsome. Good childhood healthcare left his face devoid of the blemishes common among the destitute of Night City who grew up in squalor and filth, and his high cheek bones and aquiline nose give him a striking visage. But his slightly sunken cheeks and unhealthy pallor give him a hungry look that some find off-putting.

1/2

Forgive the slop, it's the best I could do. I am not skilled with generators.
>>
>>94435709
William wasn't born on the streets. He grew up safe in a Militech Corporate high-rise and dreamed of middle management. Then his father's brain got fried by a hostile Netrunner. William's mother tried to keep the family afloat until her heart gave out. Could have been stress, or grief at her husband's passing. Could have just been the long term consequences of the performance enhancers she took to keep up with her workload. Either way William and his baby sister Katherine ended up on the street, and William had to find a way to keep them alive. He could have abandoned his sister to save himself. Hard enough for a teenage corpo brat to survive on his own on the streets of night city, let alone with a toddler in tow, but he'd be damned if he gave up the only family he had left. Better to die together than live with the guilt of surviving alone. Thus far he's managed to keep them in kibble and afford a renovated storage container in Santo Domingo for them to live in by stealing data for fixers, running cons, breaking and entering, and sometimes just slitting throats in a back alley and going through the corpse's pockets for valuables. At the end of the day no matter what he's had to do in order to make ends meet, it's all worth it to see Katherine's smile when he comes home.

If you want me to elaborate on anything regarding the character please let me know. Tried to keep it concise.

Final roll was a 5, 2, 7 = 14(3d10)

Faustus Cassius

Cleric in Dark Heresy

Hes a laid back man who loves The Emperor, and is happy to uh..."bend" the word of the emperor or make up scripture on the spot to justify or support his teams missions. He's also a shameless womanizer and smoker and has taken a Vow of Poverty in the name of The Emperor, though wheneve rhe is caught with one or two ladies of women, sometimes of the faith(The Ecclesiarc or the Mechanicum, he isnt picky) hes quick to remind people he took a vow of poverty, not a vow of chastity.

Hes a brawny man looking like an old irish preacher who almost always has a cigarette and has a nasty and jagged scar down the left side of his face.

Faustus doesnt really have a type when it comes to women; blushing maidens, experienced harlots, haughty nobles, theyre all the same. and they all end the same too; once done, never again, and likely never seen again as well. Much as he jokes and laughs his biggest concern is that none of his sleeping around has any meaning. Hes leaving kids for The Emperor, but he has no emotional connection to the women that make them. Sex has always just been sex to him. As one of the Frateris MIlitia paired with a Sister of Battle Order, he was a "sex for solace" outlet when he was young which jaded his views on it. He wants, craves, a deeper and more intimiate connection.

Anon, your lore and build are vague. You haven't posted feats or skills. WTF does your build do?
Your lore sounds like the back of an urban fantasy novel; rather than explaining anything it just implies things like an in-joke I'm not part of.
>>
>>94435775
had to split it in two

That does NOT mean he hasnt used his charms for advantage though. He has a Dark Eldar Wych and a Tau Earth cast under his belt, all in the name of The Emperor and The Inquisition of course...

Overrun by Orks he called to The Emperor for help. There was silence. Again he cried and again silence. 8 times he did this and then on the 9th he asked for ANYTHING to help and Tzeentch answered, saving him by putting him somewhere else. As the actual DH campaign went on Faust was made to do things that benefited this massive plot by an Inquisitor that was trying to birth Malal as a true Chaos God. Near the end, the party found out that Faust was in fact bound to Chaos and Faust spilled everything. The party HAD in fact grown to like and love him as one of their own, the Commissar and the Feral World assassin training to be an inquisitor in particular were torn. They agreed that Faust would have a single chance to prove himself worthy of redemption: The Commissar held his Lasgun to Fausts head and pulled the trigger. It jammed(player rolled a 100 twice). Assassin held his Melta Pistol to Fausts face and pulled the trigger. It jammed. They wre both satisfied, slapped a bomb collar(melta bomb) on Faust and told him that he would be working to regain their trust for the rest of his life, and that only The Emperor would judge his redemption. Faust lived, we went into Ascension, and Faust has still been doing everything he can to earn redemption and his friends trust again. Though apparently the bomb collar has only made him SEXIER to the women he flirts with.

Resubmitting from late last thread:

>System: DnD 3.5
>Name: Leonen
>Class: Paladin 8
>Deity: Pelor
>Physical Description: Kind of tall, lankier build, which contrasts against his elder and younger brothers. He's also the dark-haired brother against the others' golden, and he tends to look a bit tired.
>Family: His elder brother is a Cleric of Pelor, and is the exceptionally preachy kind. The younger brother is also a Paladin of Pelor, but he's younger, less experienced, and most danger-prone. As the middle child, Leonen is the level-headed one, and wishes his brothers could just learn to cool their heads every now and then.
>Skills: Leonen acts not as a sword or a hammer for the church (though he wield a warhammer), fighting the forces of evil in the fields. Instead, he keeps to the city, and is something of a detective. His duties involve investigating crimes and arresting or punishing wrongdoers (depending on the severity). He makes liberal use of Detect Evil, but never jumps to action before he has the situation figured out.
>Personality: Leonen is very straightforward and calm, which drastically contrasts with his brothers. He takes his time, uses his thoughts, and upholds that doing his job right means not just throwing himself into danger at the first assumption. He's content to use his mental prowess to solve problems, and he's very dutiful. He's probably a little more married to his job than he has to be, and could learn to loosen up a little bit.

WeeWoo new wife for your consideration and enjoyment. Hope you like witchy girls because I do.

Felicia Rivera

Biography

Magical aptitude is usually a blessing for those that are gifted with it, but people are just as often shaped by their environment as they are their capabilities. As a young girl Felicia was naturally gifted with magic capable of casting basic spells at a very young age, but rather than being welcomed with open arms her abilities were shunned by her town and parents and she was ostracized and forced to hide her talents. Naturally being forbidden from something that fascinated her just caused her to continue practicing magic in secret away from the judgemental eyes of others. As she got older she grew in talent and confidence but without guidance she lacked control over her emotions and abilities. It came to a head when she was finally discovered practicing in the woods. The people that discovered her began yelling at her and insulting her for daring to go against the will of the people. She snapped and in a fit of anger she used her magic to start a fire and burned the group that discovered her.
Given the situation she had no choice but to flee the village with nothing but what she had. She had long since been distrustful of others and that incident was the final nail in the coffin. She stayed in the wilderness only going into towns or cities to get the bare necessities. She was alone for a long time until during her travels she found a cabin deep in the woods one day, she thought to avoid it but it seemed to almost call out to her. Apprehensively she entered the strange building and met an old woman who seemed to radiate power and knowledge. She offered a deal she'd teach her the finer points of magic and grant her power and in return she would pay her back "eventually". To Felicia this seemed like a dream and so ignoring the sense of danger she felt she accepted without a second thought.

She progressed quickly thanks to her talent and the tutelage of the old woman and after a year she was many times the mage she had been when she had arrived. Eventually the old woman sent her out to retrieve some food and when she returned both the woman and the cabin were gone and in there place was a note simply stating she would return for her payment. With nowhere to stay again and the newfound confidence granted by her skill she traveled to a nearby city in hopes of finding work using her abilities. She ended up in the court of a minor noble family, supposedly they had been important years ago but she had little interest in their history. She offered her services and fealty to the lord in exchange for a place to stay and while they were apprehensive due to her mysterious nature, grungy appearance, and young age her knowledge of the inner workings of magic and capabilities made her an attractive asset.

Oh, Lucien is basically stuck as the skill-monkey/crafter/distraction after the encounters ramped up way above what he could handle.
Incantatrix lets you mess with already cast spells to make them stronger, add metamagic, and/or control enemy spells. Dweomer-keeper lets you use a couple supernatural abilities that replicate any spell you know a couple times a day. Void Disciple allows you to give any feat or skill to an ally for a couple turns. Finally, wyrm wizard lets you learn a couple spells exclusive to other classes.
He was a mildly stronger batman wizard(strong, but not amazing) until 15th level when the spell lucien learned was body outside of body(which lets you create copies of your character that are exactly the same except they can't cast spells and have 1/4the the hit dice). My plan was to use it + Psionics to flood the battlefield with psionic clones.
An ardent dip and a feat can give you ML= to Hit Dice and 9th level manifesting. One of the psionic power you can get allows you to learn powers no on your powers list. With dweomerkeeper, each clone can use a supernatural ability that replicates Body-outside-of-body once, to create a clone the can use a supernatural ability... etc.
Unfortunately that didn't work out. Right now they're mainly used in conjuction with void disciple to give Lucien exotic feats and skills to hold together a dying army, amp the original bodies spells to protect their last intact base, and as disposable XP batteries for exotic magic item crafting so that he can buff his army of low-level scrubs into something that will last more than 3 seconds against a god-killing horror.

I didn't originally give him a backstory and used the amnesia as an excuse(I like creating stories in play rather than having everything tie to a character's past), but the DM took that as a free pass to Design the person/situation capable of casting the spell that gave my character his absurd stats and reason for amnesia.

Whilst she tried not to get too close to the family due to her past and her distrust of people there was one particular person who wouldn't allow it. The lord's son, Jason, was fascinated by her sudden appearance and begged to hear the stories of her travels and training. Out first she was merely humoring his boyish innocence, but over time she began to enjoy their chats as she would tell him her stories of living on her own and he would ask questions and listen intently as she described the magic she was using, and she in turn would listen to his stories about the Thame's family history. As he became a man she found herself becoming more attracted to him physically (much to her own embarrassment) and admiring his dream to bring his family's name back to it's former glory. When he grew older he confessed to her that he intended to go on a journey to restore his house and make a name for himself. She assumed this would be the end of their fun time together and that she would simply go back to being alone. Suffice to say she was very shocked when he gave her a ring and a promise to return and make her his wife.

I am but a pale shadow of those who came before me, but nevertheless I will do my best to do as you bid and commence the roast.

Kaiu and Bayushi? Really? Tell me you don't know how to roleplay a samurai or engage in the culture of Rokugan without telling me. Courtesy and Honor too complicated for you? At least you didn't make a goat fucking Unicorn. And you even managed to make your parent's union a scandalous love match. How bold. Because of course your super special snowflakes parents could flout Giri in favor of Ninjo and get away with it scot free. Not that you probably know how to interact with those dynamics in the game in any meaningful way. What is your SI's Giri by the way? I assume his Ninjo is to shit out trains and guns as fast as possible to style all over the shadowlands. Because of course it is, but did you even consider the meaningful internal conflict central to Samurai drama? I bet not. Not all you have in mind is

> Muh Crab superiority.
>Muh wall.
>Muh modern knowledge uplift.

Pffft. Spare me.

Please take all of this as tongue in cheek. I don't mean anything by it. I love Crab clan and Scorpion and I would honestly enjoy a L5R SI, I've actually been working on one myself if you'd like to hear about it. If you'd like to roast me in turn let me know and I'll point out my submission

Personality

Felicia is a bit distant, she generally distrusts people and will prefer to keep them at an arm's length if possible. She's polite by nature and will usually only say what needs to be said before moving on to whatever else she needs to do. Her big exception is magic as she will talk at great length about what she's studying or casting if someone show's a sincere interest. Her time alone shaped her greatly and whilst nowadays she's become able to navigate the life of a court mage a part of her misses the freedom of the wilds. She almost seems to not be able to fully understand her own feelings for Jason as love wasn't something she really considered. Despite not entirely being able to understand it she knows their relationship is something she treasures a lot and the sadness she felt when she thought he was leaving her behind is something she doesn't wish to feel ever again.

Reposting mine, which were >>94428935 >>94429089.

Kurda of the Mistcrowns is my current character in a homebrew d100 based game. Basic point is that magic in the early medieval era world is cast via words - as in you know the true meaning of a word and you can cast it, usually only one per mage. While most might words got sealed away by the gods, there is a lot of unusual stuff floating around. Also, the nobility of the setting are all mages. The campaign is set at the big mage academy, where both nobles and commoners learn together.

Kurda kinda falls out of both groups, because while he technically belongs to the high nobility, beeing a tribal prince - he hails from the most archaic, backwards and irrelevant province of the entire kingdom, that beeing the mountain clans who apart from believing in the main religion also still have their dragon worship going on, so none of both groups take him that seriously. While beeing a bit more of a intellectual type among his people, most normal people see him as someone quick to defend his honor with a duel, pious to the point of beeing scared of sarcasm and irony and quite the brutal opponent - his word beeing "Bones", which he uses to manipulate his own, to use them as weapons.

Aight so, in order: VTuber Roommate: Fellow PC named Seki Nakajima i believe, Vtuber by day, Decker by night.....when she has to run, she's usually too fuckin busy streaming or using BTL's to do anything. She sends him to do errands a lot. Think Umaru chan if that makes sense. Their shared flat is basically a fucking pigsty that Arthur has to clean up all the time, and he basically lives in a closet. She also actually gives him a lot of bullshit explanations on how magic is actually totally just special effects, cause half the apartment is her vtuber setup with a bunch of decker shit baked in. Also as previously stated thye live above a talismongers which is effectively a magic shop. Yes Arthur believes its all hippie bullshit that doesnt work. He believes this, yet has a magic license.

As for equipment, he's got enough conceled pockets in his jacket to carry 7 mags of APDS rounds for his old Apex predator, the 2050 version. He bought it cause it was cheap and it has no smartlink shit. He's got skates for getting around when his dirt bike is busted...which is a lot. Which is why he also has a bunch of mechanic tools on him too. Oh his Fake SIN is also named Battler Ushiromiya for a joke.

As for the event that traumatised him as a child, he basically was almost sacrificed for some british royal family bullshit, i dont quite remember what it was, Maybe it had something to do with King Arthur? Either way, everyone around him Goblinized at once, it was horrifying. Its also why he wants to live off the grid as much as possible, he doesnt wanna be found ever by whatever caused that.

Oh yeah he's british by the way, Seki is japanese.

Lets see.....he can box, he knows japanese, he has an almost encyclopedia knowledge of british war history, he knows a bunch of gun trivia, he can see ghosts with Astral Perception... thats as much as i can think of right now that isnt actual campaign stuff.

Also wait i know that dress, thats the St Louis Sex Dress.

Regarding Alex the accidental cyber-centaur
>>94400511
And may as well expand on him a bit
>personality
Alex believes there is no real justice in the world, and even what good you can make will just be ruined by some great evil, whether humans or monsters from a rift. So why bother trying to make any real difference, just take care of yourself, survive and maybe take a few jabs at your enemies so they know coming after you could be costly. And yet... despite claiming to only care about himself, Alex constantly finds his conscience nagging him to do the right thing, and his harrasment of Lonestar forces has a strong tendency to happen in ways that protect others.
He's still quite happy to take any offered reward of course.
As for still being a centaur type, a new chassis would cost millions of credits and he was never able to find anyone willing to take his current one as a trade in. By now he's accepted this as his new body and is content with it.
>build
Just adding his skill list as a full Rifts character sheet would be several posts long and I already gave his basic stats
Speaks and literate in English, speaks Spanish, basic math, basic radio, land navigation, intelligence, paramedic, computer operation, seduction (not attempted since being borged), streetwise, pilot, energy pistol, sword, energy rifle, hth commando, tracking, first aid, demolitions, whip

Pendragon

Sir Alan ap Elad

Size:14
Dexterity:12
Strength:15
Constitution:14
Appearance:14
Distinctive features:long dark hair, dour expression
Famously indulgent and vengeful and cruel. Sir Alan is the son of the late Sir Elad Marshal of county Salisbury and de facto marshal in the wake of The bloody feast of Saint Albans. Sir Alan has always had a taste for the bottle but some years earlier had attempted to swear it off entirely after being indirectly responsible for Prince Madoc's death during the siege of Tintagel having been too drunk to properly guard his post. Unfortunately, the loss of King Uther, his own father, and half of British nobility has forced him back into it as a means to cope.

A strategic mind and and skilled fighting ability would make Sir Alan an excellent candidate for his new title if not for his alcoholism and constant gaming(his other vice). He is a Christian, albeit not overly devout, and is more concerned with the present than his judgment in the afterlife. He is attracted to women, but has never really concerned himself with them, and has only had a handful of flings in the past, prefering the company of a good bottle and better friends to drink with. He is a happy drunk, never getting angry at slights, percieved or otherwise, but has a tendency to drink himself into oblivion. He does have ambition, he is all too willing to attack and conquer neighboring castles and villages for his county(read: himself) and thinks nothing of the people who may get harmed by his actions. He HATES Saxons. He wouldn't mind being Earl himself, but is loyal to Earl Roderick's family, and will dutifully stay in his station. He is wary of the Fey world, but just as curious as any knight seeking adventure would be. Lastly he recognizes how awful his alcoholism is, but can't bring himself to quit.

>Pendragon

How is that as a system? I've heard of it but I don't know anything beyond the name. What are it's strengths?
>>
>>94436355
NTA, but Pendragon is a very particular kind of system that can be summed up as "Roll under, and combat rolls are contested." The combat can be as brutal as real fights, even for player characters, and you build up your home, establish a family, and play as your descendants when you can no longer fight. You earn Glory, giving you bonuses at points, and you gradually get weaker with age past a certain point.

Thematically, it's a game about playing a knight. The infamous Great Campaign is not uncommon on RPG bucket lists, because it spans from the ages of Uther Pendragon to the death of Arthur, requiring many, many years of in-game story.
>>
File: 9781588469465-us.jpg (41 KB, 380x500)
41 KB
41 KB JPG
>>94436355
It's a roll under system with little to no magic, and rules for courtly intrigue, romance, feasts, and fief management alongside combat, and features the biggest module ever written as a selling point. A module that allows you to play the entirety of Arthurian myth, from Uther's coronation, to the death of Arthur, and can easily be expanded by a talented gamemaster.

The rolls can be made with pretty much any number on your sheet. Attributes(which represent your characters overall stats) traits(which represent your characters personality) passions(which can serve as a buff/debuff among other things) and skills(self-explanitory) There are two types of rolls: opposed and unopposed. Unopposed means you simply roll against your number level. If you stay under the number, you succeed. If you get the number exactly, you critically succeed. If you roll above it, you fail. If you roll 20 exact, you critically fail. Opposed skill checks compare two stat numbers under the same category to determine who succeeds. Whoever rolls higher without rolling above their stat succeeds. If one roll stays under their stat number, but fails against their opposition, it's considered a partial success(usually better than a failure, but often just a failure)
Attributes are divided into: size, dexterity, strength, constitution, and appearance.
Traits are diveded into two columns of positive and negative traits opposing each other. E.G: Chaste/Lustful
Skills cover combat stats divided into singular weapons for combat(sword, lance, etc) and also represent stats for other activities your knight will preform(gaming, intrigue, literacy, etc)
Passions function as a stat you can roll for a buff to any skill so long as you succeed, failing a passion roll can come with dire consequences up to and including death. They can also be used as a way to force motivation by the dm, amongst many other uses.
I'll continue in the next post.
>>
>>94436492
I'd say the great strengths of Pendragon, alongside its incredible campaign, is it's ability to cover so much of being a knight without being overly complex or crunchy(it's more complex than dnd though) while being a near perfect representation of all the craziness and glory that arthurian knights went through in the myth.
I'm happy to answer any other questions, or explain more mechanics such as passion, or romance(which even includes cuckoldry as a mechanic if you're into that) but there is a lot to go through, so it may take time to answer.

Oops. As in: >>94436191
>>
>>94436492
>>94436517
One more thing I forgot. You don't play as a singular knight, you play a dynasty. As >>94436413 said combat is brutal and death is final. Securing an heir is an important mechanic as he will be your next pc when your current knight dies. Every pc(save one) will be dead by the end, but that's to be expected in a game set in early dark ages Britain played over 80 years.
>>
>>94436643
Yes. And that's IF you're playing the Campaign. You can do other stories in the style of playing as knights where the conclusion isn't so strictly determined and sure to murder almost the whole party at the end.

>>

Of course. Most people playing Pendragon are gonna play the campaign, so that's what I was focusing on, but it's up to the group how to handle the setting/death and whatnot. It's also possible, if extremely unlikely to play a single knight from beginning to the end in the campaign if you get really lucky with rolls.
The game is also easily transferable to other settings such as fuedal Japan(which is supposed to get an official spin-off at some point in the future)

Background: Datsko's ancestors had moved southwards from the far north for trade, and many worked for the southern Emperor in his personal army. His family was no different, his father working as a varangian for the Emperor, and so would he. War came to the land when he was but 6 summers old, and a few years later the raiding greenskins killed his mother, torn apart by a worg, not long after having given birth to the third sister of Datsko, who was the eldest child of the family. Some years later Datsko's father remarried to better take care of the family, and try and return a sense of normalcy. Datsko never cared much for his step-mother, but never begrudged his father's choice, and respected her as part of the family. When old enough, Datsko began his warrior's training under his father's tutelage, growing into a fine soldier, eventually joining the varangian guard like his father. When the Emperor marched to battle with his personal army in hopes of crushing the greenskin invaders, Datsko was left behind on garrison duty due to his lack of experience, but this saved his life, as none would return from the battle. Including his father. War was all he knew growing up, and he defended the remains of his homeland leaderless homeland, leaving him with many scars and nightmares. The war ravaged the land, reducing everything to ruin, but eventually the war ended as a coalition of foreign armies and adventurers defeated the orcs leading the invasion, scattering the armies. After the war, the remains of the varangian guard were disbanded, and Datsko was awarded a stubborn riding horse for his distinguished service. He turned to work as a mercenary and a butcher, slaying beasts and taking them apart to make a living, earning him his epiteth.

Also, original d10 roll was 7

When I was in high school, "Woof" was an insult. This is the second time in a week I've encountered it in a situation which seems positive.

Has the slang changed, or do you have terrible taste?
>>
>>94436813
It kind of has changed, but it's not entirely consistent. It can be used the way you're familiar with, and also positively. Not "she's a dog" or "oof, she's ugly," but "whoa, she's hot."

Susannah Maria Albrecht, Bard extraordinaire

level 20, we started at like 10 though.
Computer blew up, so I have to go off memory for her stats until I get the data recovered.

Strength: 4
Dex: 20
CON: 10
INT: 18
WIS: 14 but got an item to bring it up to 19
Charisma: 20

level 4, 8 etc. were mostly spent on stat increases and IIRC Skill Expert.

Subclass: Lore bard. Absolute nerd inspired and endeared by stories of adventurers past, wanting to travel and adventure to get her own story into the annals of history.

Her overarching goal is to collect enough knowledge, power, magical items and allies to break a group of her most beloved heroes out of Asmodeus' grasp.

Personalitywise, she's very kind and chipper, if neurotic. She obviously prefers to solve things with either her intellect or words, and usually succeeds if the party doesn't get in the way. She's a pacifist, in that she'll only kill in the most extreme cases of self-defense, and even then she feels bad about it. Having grown up as a bookish child, she ended up not having a lot of friends until she was admitted to bard college by her retired adventurer parents (Merchant's son abjuration wizard dad and Icewind Dale Wildfire druid mom), which she accepted due to not wanting to disappoint them, and took to it. Still learning her own self-worth and confidence even after burning her one time casting Wish to solve a war, insists anybody else could and would've done as much. Admires others a lot, and has a sharp eye for what they do well and what needs improvement (her Cutting Words is just unsolicited critique). She can't be mean (no Vicious mockery), and hates mind control/Enchantment spells about as much as violent spells and necromancy.
She loves anything beautiful, and is quite artistically inclined, and despite most often playing music as her bardic performance, her greatest talent is acting (has the Actor feat). She refuses to take Disguise Self because she loves dressing up in costumes.

>Brown-haired, actually pretty average in height, and fit like someone trained for the military should be
>Raised in the Fire Nation colonies. Full of fervor and a desire to do good, he joined the Fire Army, but was dishonorably discharged when he challenged the way that the Fire Nation was razing villages deep in the Earth Kingdom.
>Became a pariah of his home town. He still keeps a Fire Nation armband out of sentimentality, but doesn't wear it. He misses his family, even if they did kick him out.
>Left and wandered into the Earth Kingdom, where he joined a group of rebels, pretending he wasn't Fire Nation. He came to trust those closest to him with that secret, eventually.
>His belief that he's morally in the right about numerous things causes him trouble, since he often can't keep his big mouth shut, especially if he sees treatment he can't agree with. That happens both when confronting the Fire Nation, and when people in the Earth Kingdom are mistreating their own people. This is at odds with his desire to belong somewhere, but he's gradually learning to be less confrontational.
>Despite shooting off at the mouth sometimes being an issue, he is actually good at reading peoples' perspectives and finding the right words to challenge them with.
>In fights, he uses his sword creatively, taking high-risk/high-reward actions whenever he thinks he sees a good opening. Though, he's certainly not above trying to find a way to get his opponent to make an opening either.
>Some of the things he's done with his group include fighting off raiding bands, beating up soldiers who extort the towns they protect, and brokering deals with politicians to try to get some aid to places that need it (often by trading favors for favors).

I wouldn't say they should have to list all of their traits and passions. Just the notable ones, the ones at 16+ would do. If they aren't at least that high, it's hardly worth mentioning, no?

They should list their specific religion though, and maybe some shit about their family history.

I dunno, Anon. There really aren't that many traits. Especially considering how informative they are about what kind of knight you really are.
>>
>>94437764
16+ traits are the traits you're really known for though. The ones people expect you to be when you act. Mentioning them also informs what you aren't, whereas more averagely-rated traits are just that. Average. Unimportant.

Generally I agree, 15 and on is where a trait is actually a notable part of your character. There’s always a story behind someone having a 12 in Selfish where they’ve had a few minor moments of weakness.

Sure, average. You get a famous trait at the start for a reason. Not unimportant though. The smaller numbers show what kind of life experiences they've had, even if they're not major ones that have hugely shaped their personality.

Repostin from last thread, with some more details.
Current PC's name is вoпpoc, he's a paranoid schizophrenic rogue in 5e who's convinced that a circle of demons have taken over the largest city on the continent by controlling the new leader of the city. The demons, led by one called Kajyos, are completely made up, but justify his overwhelming urge to do everything for everyone he can to save them from the demons, as well as his inability to trust anyone for fear that they're already corrupted, which leads to him being a major skillmonkey. He's mostly self-sufficient, because he thinks anyone else will try to kill him. He gets along well with those who are blatantly honest about being selfish with what they want, and avoids conflict as much as possible. The reasoning for this is that one of the demons, Bernd, thrives off conflict and brave actions, viewing talking things out as the ultimate act of cowardice.
Interestingly, though unbeknownst to the other party members, he's a courtier. He used to be an advisor to the crown prince of the old kingdom, and a close friend to him too. However, his father had plans that involved the prince's sacrifice in a battle to galvanize the kingdom for war, and knowing that his son's advisor would never willingly allow him to be executed for power, the king locked him in a cell for 15 years and sealed the exits, barring a single slot for food. One last kindness for raising his son.
Forgotten and alone, вoпpoc went insane and started to hallucinate, blaming imaginary demons for being responsible for the king's actions, and plotting his escape. The escape never came to pass, however, as the turmoil caused by the actions of the first campaign's party inadvertently freed him and unleashed him on a new world, one he could not recognize. He did, however, recognize the signs of corruption and rot from the old kingdom present in the new one, and believed it was the same demons from before, and set out to slay the demons.

Daniel Lane is an archeologist and university professor.
His mother, Elizabeth Lane (née Redfield) is a former Delta Green agent who survived the events of Impossible Landscapes. She met the King In Yellow and inadvertently helped to create the King In Yellow play (which creates the world and consumes it, like an ouroboros). Her strong will and desire to not leave her son an orphan (her husband, Matthew Lane, was killed by Delta Green after being exposed to the play, leaving her a widow and single mother) gave her the strength to survive and exit the Night World, as well as Carcosa, after accomplishing her "part" in the play.
After the expanding corruption of the King In Yellow threatens to consume the world and causes reality to begin to shatter, his mother disappears without a trace, despite suffering from a terminal illness which left her wheelchair bound (from being exposed to the King In Yellow, Carcosa and the play). Daniel heads from New York to a nearby city in search of his mother after receiving a mysterious letter from her.

Daniel doesn't know, but one of his ancestors, Nathaniel Knight, was a private investigator in the 1920s. He lost his body as he was consumed by the Dreamlands, then later reincarnated in a different, formerly comatose body (a member of the Lane family). He was a tool of Nodens in his attempts to thwart Nyarlathotep's many "masks" from awakening the great old ones.
>>
>>94438382
Further context:

In the 1920s a man by the name of Randolph Carter vanished into thin air. Unknown to his family, Randolph was a dreamer who often wandered into the Dreamlands in search of a lost city. His story is told in the Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath.
The Dreamlands are a strange set of dimensions separate from reality, reachable through dream or through specific locations in our world. In there, fantastic and horrifying creatures reside side by side with humans and ancient gods, living in mostly medieval circumstances, as things from the real world take centuries to manifest there and be "accepted" as part of the Dreamlands.

Fast forward to modern day and Delta Green is doing whatever it can to stem the expansion of a sort of corruption caused by the Yellow Sign. Through it, entire buildings and regions are tainted and become gateways to the Night World. The Night World is an amalgalm of places from all spaces and times, much like The Backrooms. You will open the same door twice there and find out yourself in two different places each time.
People from all locations and eras seem to be stuck there, perpetually drawn toward the King in Yellow in his throne city of Carcosa.
Carcosa is perpetually stuck being invaded in a victorian era siege, and it's totla destruction seems averted only by the King's will. He hold court there every midnight, where his Play is reenacted and the world is reborn anew through his will.
All will find their way there, from all spaces and times, eventually. When the clock strikes midnight and the King unmasks, all will be there together, forever, as they realize their whole lives were part of his Play.

Themes: Silent Hill-ish. Lovecraftian horror. Dreams and dreamscapes. Time and space breaking down and being twisted into meaninglessness. Apocalyptic. The Backrooms. Time loops.

Aliyah

D&D 5e: Lvl 3 Moon Sorcerer

Her current favourite spells is the Bonfire cantrip. the Chaos Bolt (empowered with sorcery points to twin cast) and the Shield. All of her spells are cast using movements and dances like benders in Avatar.

She's half Rakshasas (Tiefling) with white tiger traits and a runaway princess with a cursed gold collar ornated by a ruby that she can't take off.

The reason that she's a runaway is because of the Rakshasas society of her father. It is a caste system where everybody is stuck in their position from the moment they are born. Women though, they are the lowest of the low. They only birth and raise the kids. What's more, lords have harems. Not a singular wife. So Aliyah, being a woman, and a half-breed, would be at the bottom of the totem pole. Just above the slaves and servants. Knowing this she became rebellious and her father put a cursed collar of domination on her, so she wouldn't be a problem for him and her future husband. So she ran away with the intention of creating her own empire. One where she would be at the top.

To keep with his masked mummy theme in modern day, he could potentially still be visibly disfigured. Not enough to cause a masquerade violation, but enough that it's something that normal surgery can't fix, and people who see him might go "ew" or "damn, feel real sorry for the bruv"... until they see the two beauties following behind him and they suddenly change their opinions to "damn, I suddenly don't feel sorry for him anymore" or "REEEE, NORMIES EXPLODE". Or he could wear a racing helmet everywhere, like the Stig. Swap out his points in Riding for Driving and get a tricked out sports car or motorbike instead of a dragon.

Alright I'll be honest it took me awhile to come around to this one, but I think after some consideration I've come to like him a bit more, although he's probably not winning any awards in this thread.

Everett Sittner (The Charlatan Warrior)

Biography

The legend of Everett began in his childhood born into a town plagued by banditry and other ruffians as a child he swore that he would defeat them and bring peace back to his town with his own hands. He studied combat everyday and sparred with every able bodied man who would humor him and eventually he did become the best fighter in his small town by a large margin. With the blessing of the townsfolk and armed with the best equipment they had he set off to their camp eagar to finally live his dream and become the warrior he had always dreamt of being. Until he came face to face with the guards and they attacked him. They beared down on him with murder in their eyes and he was terrified this was nothing like the sparring he had always done. He did manage to fight them and even killed the two of them, but all that left him with was an empty feeling and two corpses rapidly draining blood. He threw up. His naive childhood dreams meant nothing to him now. He no longer wanted to be a warrior if it meant dealing with this.

1/?
>>
>>94438619
Funny thing is, you could make him an actual Mummy in WoD too. They go by the Anne Rice logic of being hyper-alive rather than undead, so he'd actually be able to keep up with his wives if he practiced.
>>
>>94436906
>>94438765

Still the hopes of his friends and family were riding on him at this point and so he had no other choice but to do what anyone does when they're in over their head. He lied. He confronted the leader of the bandits with the corpses and spun a tale of how the people had armed themselves and would fight to the last man with him "personally leading the charge" if the bandits came back to the town and it worked. The bandits didn't want a risky fight over the meager resources of a poor town so they moved on to find an easier target. Everett simply thanked his lucky stars that his all or nothing gamble worked and that the bandits wouldn't come back for now at least.
If only it were that simple, coming back battered from his fight with the guards and the bandit activity stopping meant everyone assumed he had defeated them all singlehandedly as he had playfully boasted. He became an overnight hero to the townsfolk and in their eyes he went from the kid with big dreams to the town's guardian and protector. The bright reception and the newfound vigor of his hometown meant that coming clean wasn't an option. Even if he wasn't the hero they thought he was he could at least keep giving them the hope and belief that he was.

2/?
>>
>>94436906
>>94438765
>>94438773

He thought he would be doomed to shoulder the guilt of his deception alone until he met a woman passing through who sought him out due to his heroic reputation. She was curious about his story and asked to chronicle it. As he talked, however she started to notice holes in his story. Her questions became more pointed and focused until Everett had enough and just told her the truth. His reputation was based on a lie, he was afraid, hated the thought of killing, and couldn't stomach melee combat. He expected her to be disillusioned or perhaps take what she'd learned and attempt to ruin his reputation. He did not expect her to empathize with him and talk about her own struggles as a pacifist. He was already attracted to her and having her understand and accept his greatest personal failure he was hopelessly smitten. During her stay he spent as much time with her as he could. When she wasn't busy they whiled away their time together peacefully chatting and sharing stories, helping others in town, and relaxing. When it came time for her to leave he had to confess that he loved her and wished to stay with her forever regardless of where her travels took her.

Personality

Everett is at his core a man with a gigantic heart. He cares deeply for the people around him and is always willing to sacrifice his personal well being for the sake of others. He longs to be the hero his hometown see him as and continues to train everyday to live up to those lofty expectations, however he is definitively a coward. He greatly admires Susannah's courage to fight but moreso loves her stubborn refusal to resort to violence if it can be avoided especially after experiencing killing firsthand.

>Why exactly didn't the "Endless army of elite psions" plan not work out?
Because clones of clones only last 1 minute max, my hp rolls were abyssmal, and losing a clone does 10 unavoidable damage to the maker.
Meaning my clones with 1/4 my hp would make clones with 1/4 their hp, etc until the vast majority have 0-1 hp and drop like flies the moment any started dying. Even with all the temporal action-economy bullshit psionics can pull off, they were only suitable as suicide bombers at best, but their damage was unimpressive without support from exotic magic items.
>Also why the fuck did you roll up a human? You basically gave up 9th level casting for no fucking reason.
Honestly, because I'm retarded.
I envisioned Lucien as a skillmonkey from the begining, so I invested 2 feats msking every skill a class skill and raising the skill cap to level +5, not thinking about how void disciple makes both those decisions retarded. If I could go back, I'd have used a race that'd let me boost my spell casting like kobold or illuman.

There are a couple ways to respec your character.

First is a human only method, the artifact "The Darklight Codex" allows you to regress back to level 1 while keeping your skills and feats. Your 1st level also changes to "Darklight wizard", which is basically ur-priest for wizards so you won't need to worry about losing caster levels in your build.

The second is combining Emancipated Spawn with Monster of Legacy. Emancipated Spawn is a 3 level class that gives a character that died and was made into an undead's spawn all their stats, feats, skills, and class features. The final level then adds back the characters's previous level as a level adjustment. Monster of Legacy is an acquired template that removes Level Adjustments from select creature types, including undead. Together they let you compress a 20-level build into 3 levels, level 17 more levels to play with.

Anon, your build would have been fine if you didn't lose caster progression trying to grab a retarded spell. Ice Assassin does the same thing better, giving you clones with the ability to cast spells and make their own ice assassins(they want to kill you though, Mind Rape reccomended). Take some megative levels to get rid of wyrm wizard and use those levels in dweomerkeeper to get more supernatural spell uses+9th level casting. The frees up supernatural spell for what its meant for, Wish. Now you can get free magic items via supernatural wishes instead of crafting them the hard way.
>>
>>94438963
>>94439180
>ice assassin
>mind rape
Nah fuck that. Ice assassins are stuck as constructs and on top of that can't heal, Ever.
What anon actually needs is searing seed. At the cost of some easily avoidable damage you can get persect clones with the half-fiend template added on top and its an 8th level slot compared to mind rape's 9th level.
Mind rape is also terrible compared to the necrotic cyst line of spells. Necrotic tumor is undispellable, unresistable, and truly Permanent. All at a lower level to boot.

Got it, interesting. I’ve never seen someone be the son of an important NPC. Did you guys start in 485 or 480?
>>
>>94439425
Agreed, however this combo would be great to use on a succubus/erinyes fiend of possession to boost magic items far beyond what's normally possible.
If you can train your pet cloning machine as a legacy champion and unlock a bloodline for it, you can push something like +14 to existing enhancements.
>>

485
Dm grabbed the book of Uther from the sharethread after we started, so we couldn't begin earlier.
And I should've mentioned: Sir Alan isn't my first character. My first was a Saxon knight who died during the naval raids. I didn't want to play a Saxon anymore, so we concocted Sir Alan

Not strictly MLP, but the picture, which was a gifted commission from a friend and I tend to use as a character reference, was drawn by an artist who used to do a ton of humanized/anthro MLP stuff.

Reposting my character from last thread. Last time I rolled 6. It is number 17 on anon's master list. Without image to preserve limit.

WHFRP 2ED
Ersolaen the Everwatcher
Career: Master Wizard
Race: High Elf
WS 37 BS 43 S 37 T 45 Ag 55 Int 56 WP 80 Fel 46

Talents of note: Darkvision, arcane magic, mighty shot, sixth sense, excellent vision
Skills of note: Heal, Magical Sense, Perception, Channelling magic

Ersolaen is a 90-year-old, enigmatic being who hails from Ulthuan. When he was merely 80 years old, he decided to become a mage, but his superiors declined such request. Ersolaen enlisted in the navy and retired a few years later in Marienburg. Marienburg was back in the day the world port, the main and only entrance to trade with the Empire of Man. He decided to pledge his loyalty to human wizards because he is so petty that he couldn't just wait another half a century to return to his homeland and apprentice there to the elven masters of magic.

He proved to be quite gifted, and when he turned 90 years old, the elven wizards recognized his talent and invited him to continue his studies under the aegis of Ulthuan. From now on he is both engaged in human and elven politics, being valuable assets for intrigues of both sides.

Leaving aside the backstory, Elven Wizard is a brave and charming lad. Although his ego and pride are almost unbearable for anyone outside his party and close friends.

Additional info:
>He has a magic sword called Bloodeater; that sword deals additional damage but is cursed. The user is permamently cursed with a magical disease similar to consumption.
>His party is kind of heroic one. They've managed to plunder tombs in Arabia, killed cultists threatening Marienburg, and in campaign climax, led an expedition to find a way to defeat the greater demon.
>When he is drunk, his mind sometimes wanders to his maritime past. He often tells sailors fairytales.

Further context and lore:

Daniel's mother, Elizabeth, the cause for his involvement with the unnatural, was formerly an FBI and Delta Green agent working for the Outlaws/Cowboys.
In the late 90s she found herself as a 18 year old college student, freelance photographer and private detective, investigating a missing girl report for a concerned family.
The investigation led her to enter the Night World by accident, as the girl's building had been corrupted by it. She escaped and was interrogated by Delta Green friendly FBI agents, then recruited.
After working as a friendly to DG for years and finishing her law degree, Elizabeth was a FBI agent for most of her life.
Her career ended as she found herself again investigating the Night World, the Yellow Sign and the King in Yellow.
Slated for "termination" by Delta Green due to her exposure to the Yellow Sign and subsequent activation of STATIC protocol, Elizabeth escaped Delta Green agents' grasps during an ambush, killing one agent in the process.
She soon was contacted by strange telephone calls urging her to reach Carcosa, and was aided by 72 "demons" in her quest to find Carcosa and clean her slate with the law, as well as to find out what happened to her deceased husband.
Turns out Delta Green executed him after he was subjected to a form of the Play, as he attended a threatre opening depicting the King in Yellow play.
Elizabeth eventually found and escaped Carcosa, carrying with her her own soul bottle, and resumed life as best as she could, caring for young Daniel as a mother and ex-FBI agent.
Her guilt and slate cleared by Ed Miller Wist/Mister Wilde, the repairer of reputations, Elizabeth was no longer hunt down by Delta Green.
She was, however, left ill and worsening by her exposure to the Night World, and has recently disappeared.
Daniel knows none of this, but ever since he was young he has strange dreams and visions of impossible locations and people that seem to know him.

>Feats: Great Weapon Master, Buxom

Kara was born to slaves on an island distant from Odesstana, and grew up sweeping the stands of the arena where her parents were slaves: her mother a stablehand, her father a gladiator. She covered her ears and prayed whenever her father was in the arena, but her hearing was too sharp [sharp even for a catfolk], for her to not hear the cheering crowds. One day her father won his freedom, but was betrayed and stabbed in an alley by the arena owners, who feared that he'd work for a rival. Her and her mother were quickly forgotten, but she started practicing with discarded weapons, watching the gladiators fight, and learning how to wield a blade like her father did. Eventually, she offered to fight in the arena when a gladiator was too sick. She was a great favorite, her matted hair and dirty face were ignored by the whooping crowd as they leered at her fit body as she blurred around the arena, sometimes on all fours, taking down wolves with just a dagger. Over many fights she earned money, scars, baths, new clothes,
she was living the high life for a slave.

And that was when she started a revolt. The gladiators had trained the slaves, and the army of desperate prisoners fought their way out of the arena, killing the owners in the process, then scattered. She barely managed to save her mother, and escaped with her on a ship to Odesstana. Since then she's been an [elven, so she can use Dex instead of Str] zweihander wielding mercenary, spending her gold on her mother and on better equipment. She's killed humans, elves, blood mages, anything the Odessan army will demand. But she's still always been an outsider due to her race. One day, she resorted to flaring her rage to kill an ogre on a battlefield, fighting for Odesstana, but before she could land a blow it was struck down by a warhammer-swinging knight. In her anger she kept attacking him instead, but he parried every blow for a full minute until she calmed down. She expected to be executed for attacking a knight, but he forgave her, then hired her to join him in battle. Eventually, fighting alongside him, and the very voluptuous half elf he had as his personal mage [another strange thing for an Odessan knight] led to private sparring, playful banter on and off the battlefield, which grew into playful flirting, which led to him hiring her to stay on with him after the war. Eva and Kara became the closest members of his knightly entourage, and it wasn't long before Kara was convinced of her decision, and approached Eva about forming a harem of two for their shared knightly beau.

"JUST LIKE MY FANFICTION!" Declared Eva, delightedly.
>>
>>94444860
Kara's mother lives with her and her husband, and often acts anxious about being served by servants, not having to pay for food or dresses, but Kara reassures her that she's a lady now, it's fine. Kara and her mother adore baths, as Eva does, and while Kara is more likely to be in the stables examining horses, in the armory sharpening her sword or polishing her armor [she almost clawed the last squire to touch her gear], Kara's mother Nara can often be found bathing and chatting with Eva, one of the only people who can get her to relax. In love, Kara is intimate with her husband, she isn't physically so around strangers, though she stands near him relaxed but alert at all times, but in private she holds eye contact as she presses close, rubbing against him as much as possible, covering him in her scent, biting his lips, purring into his kiss. She is INCREDIBLY flexible, and makes full use of this in bed. While Eva's riding breaks the bedframe, Kara prefers to grip the mattress through the sheets, digging her claws in as she undulates her whole body several times a second, snarling, eyes contracting as she reaches completion, throwing it back hard against her beloved husband. Her and Eva typically [though not always] take turns with him, one a night, but EVERY night he spends with Eva Kara climbs the walls to watch through the window in cat form.

Kara has a bloodline trait that lets her turn into a panther or black cat by spending a barbarian rage or action surge, this lasts at least an hour. Afterwards her skin is darkened for as long as she was in that form. She's responsible for the castle's mattress budget soaring. She looks forward to having many strong children. And her husband's racist, true son of Odesstana friends consider themselves in debt to him, after he attended a ball with her on his arm, they took that as a sign that they could be public with THEIR catfolk mistresses. [3/3]

To give a brief summary to start with: Ordus boasts a solidly higher Con bonus than either of his wives. That wouldn't be much help alone, BUT as a fighter he also has proficiency in Con saving throws. This gives him an advantage to start, but it's not as simple as that.

For starters: Eva has Second Wind, Action Surge and Enhance Ability in her repertoire. If she reaches the point where she would take exhaustion, she can pop second wind to pass the roll, then use her action to cast Bears Endurance for another hour. And she has SIX spell slots to cast it with, assuming she isn't using her magic choker to combine it with Cat's grace to move like a girl a third her age.

Seems unbeatable?

Not for a Knight with History proficiency and years of tactical training.

Second wind takes a bonus action. So he keeps her bonus actions occupied. He keeps the Persuasion rolls going, telling her what to say, when, how, distracting her as he keeps a firm grip on her hips, ass or tits, using Athletics in place of Persuasion to buck when she's mid sentence or squeeze surprisingly hard. He doesn't pass EVERY roll, but usually he can coax her into using Bear's endurance long before she starts tiring, then ordering her to ready an action to say something, so she uses her bonus action to say it AS or AFTER the spell drops and she faces a dc20 exhaustion check. Once she HAS level of exhaustion, even with Bear's endurance, she's now at a disadvantage, and completely vulnerable to proper knightly domination.

See, Bear's Endurance is Concentration based. He has *Mage Slayer*. Whenever she casts it he pops his reaction to Bang hard enough to deal Bludgeoning damage, giving her a concentration check with disadvantage. (1/2)

>>
>>94445254
I thank you anyway, and look forward to your eventual work.
>>
>>94445245
And if she passes that check, she'll probably fail the one on his turn. Letting him properly ravish her before her turn comes around and she can cast again. Any Reaction based spells he'll have advantage against, and provoke his Reaction to put her in her place. And due to Crusher, when his Bludgeoning attacks with his Blunt Weapon Crit against her he gets advantage until his next turn. And when THAT happens he immediately pops Action Surge to make another roll with Advantage, another two chances he can crit on again. He typically then finishes, Thrusts hard enough to throw her 5 feet away (Crusher remember), admires her COMPLETELY defeated body, mouth open, eyes half closed, tongue out, raises his visor, wipes his forehead and goes to have a bath.

I'm a big fan of Kara. She provides an interesting contrast to Eva where she's outwardly more serious in public but more aggressive in private.
I always played Ordus as kind of chaste and awkward about sex (even acting offended in character about a tavern's crass name) so it's funny seeing him married to two buxom nymphomaniacs. Probably good for him in the long run.

Cindy Price is a rising star of the corporate media. Nepo baby to a wealthy executive, she was appearing in ads in her teens, on the ballet stage not long after, and brought home gold in televised gymnastics, dance, singing and pole competitions before turning 20. Cheer captain of her ELITE all girls school, she skipped college to appear on posters, billboards, holograms and tshirts across the country, even before she became a well known name, back then, her looks alone were enough for her to be a smoking hot commodity, often ELVES got skipped over for her to get jobs instead. More impressively, every inch of that billion dollar bod is natural, not a nip, tuck or boob job to be found.

Incredibly fine body aside, her life outside of her ever increasingly rare [as her price goes up] public appearances has been one of boredom, isolation and repetitive parties with her girlfriends from school and work. She's part of a girl group called 'Celia' made up of four backup dancers beside herself [Elise, Alice, Liane and Irene, each with 6 Charisma, Elise and Alice are twins], who she's close enough with for them to visit a few times a week, and the group chat is fire. But she's been bored. And annoyed.

Annoyed because people keep pretending magic is real.

Annoyed because people keep pretending magic is real. She's been on stage kay? She KNOWS what special effects look like! She's so sheltered she's had to have shadowrunners explained to her, TWICE, you bet your last Nuyen she doesn't belive in MAGIC. Some people have pointy ears kay? That doesn't mean they're MAGICAL MYTHICAL PEOPLE or something! That's racist! Then one day there were strange noises in her apartment, and the expert mage 'Artur' something was hired to investigate. Only problem was, someone got the name wrong, and a literally who from a vtubers closet got a call offering a stupid amount of Nuyen. He arrived at the apartment, had a look around, returned to the living room and before he could explain anything there was a loud moan. The butler yelled "GHOST!", he said, "Magic isn't real wanker." and destroyed the tiny projector in the corner of the room in seconds. He'd memorized each room as he'd gone through, and that projector had been in her bedroom a minute ago, it had moved, by itself. As it turns out, the whole thing was a twisted scheme to collect footage of a starlet in her apartment, the strange noises were caused by the idiot who tried the whole thing leaning on his mike button, and the moans were his attempt to convince people it was magic, and not some scooby doo shit. The hottest piece of ass Arthur had seen in his life came running into his arms, hugging him, bouncing up and down against him while yelling "I knew it!" repeatedly, then jumping up, wrapping herself around him, planting a big kiss on his cheek and calling him her "Knight in shining armor~!" She'd been getting changed in the other room..
She was wearing stiletto heels and a choker at the time.

Description: A Barovian apothecary & widowed father. At the behest of his selectively mute daughter Illyana, he took an injured woman into his home for care, returning home to his wife and child bitten in the neck and the stranger gone. He only managed to save Illya's life, and the experience traumatized them both...compounded by learning of her developing Dhampirism, forcing him to take her and flee before anyone else discovered. Paranoid, dour, and aggressive, Nikolai's waged a vengeful one man crusade against monsterkind as he scrambles for blood to keep his daughter placid and a cure for her condition.

Truthfully though, Nikolai's a broken man: all he really wants is peace of mind for what's left of his family, but after losing his beloved to random chance, he feels he can't have it without guaranteeing what befell them can never happen again - his only solution was trying to kill every human-masquerading predator he can or die trying. Being bitten by a werewolf sent him into a panic where he had the party amputate his arm in a vain bid to avoid turning, so desperate was he.

Only recently has he found hope of a better Barovia from Vistani fortunes, a Lich's tales of a time when Count Strahd was briefly dead, and a cousin Countess plotting to supplant him. In service to this, he accepted the noble position of Lord Wachter of Vallaki to aid the party...but he's aware of the Countess strings this puts on him.

He will never trust a vampire. But he will do whatever it takes to give his daughter a future.

She's not a total idiot but she's forgetful, she keeps forgetting things like her phone or her thong or her card or her g string, things like that, usually requiring Arthur to find them for her even if staff should be doing it for her [she wants to reward her knight<3] The two of them have, ever since that day, gone on missions [funded by Cindy] to disprove magical events as being technological scams. And somehow they keep either being right or catching someone ACTUALLY doing something evil with technology in the process.

Along the way, Cindy is starting to get a feeling of what life is like for everyone else, she's visited Arthur's apartment ["Dang daddy you live like this? Is this normal?" "Absolutely fucking not."], gone out for ramen with him, grabbed his thigh and screamed on a roller coaster then thrown up and laughed about it, gone to the beach and walked on the sand without someone trying to take photos of her feet, she's sobering up greatly as a result, she wears less makeup when she's around him, wears less expensive clothes, punches his arm sometimes, acts almost tomboyish just to bounce back into her bimbo rich girl routine. But the quiet moments? The ones where she smiles and listens? Or just talks about something like what her favorite dinosaur was as a kid?

They're nice.

She's nice.

Arthur loves her. And she loves him.

Cindy has started vlogging, dressed like she is when she goes out with Arthur, talking about things other than her hair and makeup, she's started playing video games [video games] and heard from Arthur that there's some games where guys paint toys and that sounds like painting your nails so maybe she should have a go? He said it's super expensive but she's super rich so.
Initially her friends and family were suspicious of the change in her, especially her parents. But over time, as they realized he's not a corporate spy, one by one they came on board. The other members of Celia even help her film her vlogs now! They're considering a podcast where they lie around and imitate dude voices and talk about why women are such BITCHES dude!

While very clear conditions were made that she'll still be expected to attend photoshoots and concerts for Celia and the company, her parents eventually gave her and Arthur their blessing to get married, to her TOTAL delight. Her sisters and the rest of Celia were the bridesmaids, all of whom planted one on him as an apology for leaving him with her forever, followed by her dipping and kissing him in front of the whole crowd as she threw the bouqet. Then she lost her balance and fell on him. It was awesome.

She has four other completely identical sisters who flew under the radar by dressing conservatively and working in fields like shadowrunning, medicine, technology etc. Cindy forgot to tell Arthur and before the wedding day he'd made out with each of them at least once, thinking it was Cindy in sexy scientist/ninja/mechanic cosplay. Cindy pouted and apologized when they all called her a dumbass for this on the wedding day, and there hasn't been a finer set of bridesmaids in the sixth world.

For their honeymoon, she and the rest of Celia are taking a break from music, the city, everything, to go on a road trip with Arthur in a big mobile home to investigate magical mysteries and prove they're bullshit. Sneaking in a few hundred rounds of nookie along the way without waking her sleeping co-stars may be tricky, but she's worth it.

Really depends on the day and the season I think.
When he initially met the girls, I imagine Ordus would still have been in his early 20s and likely either hadn’t come into his land yet, or only recently had. Day to day would mostly be Ordus trying to adjust to his living situation. He has quite a few obligations to his feudal Lord Kalus and his Peasants. Additionally he has to adjust to providing for not one but two wives, both of which are only mostly human and one of which is a magic user. This is going to cause some initial tension with his neighbors before everyone adjusted to the new status quo. Plus, Ordus is frankly prudish in both public and private and neither Kara nor Eva are.
He’ll be very interested in teaching both women the finer points of horseback riding as his father raised him to believe it was the most important skill a person could have (and it’s his best shot at having a normal conversation without spilling spaghetti) This will involve getting them accustomed to his main warhorses, Vaarkus, a large Darmisan Mountain Destrier, and Oberron, a swift Astanan Courser.
He’s likely gone more from home more often in his youth, either questing or campaigning as he’s a dumb kid trying to prove he’s still a real son of Odesstana even though he broke basically every social norm in the book and reap as much glory as he can. Once he settles down into his current age, he’s home more often taking tea with the girls (which he thinks is disgusting but lies through his teeth about enjoying) and doing more of the daily book keeping, though he keeps his training up. His greatest accomplishment in this period is digging his way to a natural hot-spring so his wives can enjoy a proper bath whenever they want. A feat he’s extremely proud of but would never admit out loud.

Pictured is our GM’s map of Odesstana

His castle is situated up in the mountains for maximum defensibility at a decently high altitude with a short growing season, though I imagine Eva’s magic can help out with this. Most of what Ordus’ fief produces is iron and rarely Adamantine from the mines, and stone from the quarries to be shipped west. Their primary livestock is the hardy Odessan Mountain Goat and alpine pigs as cattle do poorly in the area. Typically a problem with old middle-ages type mines is flooding but I imagine Eva’s magic can also help here substantially with that problem.
Early spring he likely spends most of his days clearing snow and getting the mines unflooded or traveling with his family to get the latest news updates from neighbors. He rides solo a lot during this time as he’s usually stir-crazy from being snowed in all winter and wants a little alone time.
Late spring on, Ordus is either away from home on the campaign trail down in Astana against the mages of Endarr, or the Tieflings, depending on whose testing the borders. Alternatively, he’s at home garrisoning because orcs made another incursion through the mountain roads. If he’s at home, he’ll typically take meals with his family and spend most of the day either inspecting the mines, training his squire, taking care of his horses and sparring with Kara.

If he’s out campaigning with the lads this season. He’ll leave the family back at home both to help defend the castle and because he’s secretly worried about the idea of any of them out on a pitched battlefield. These days will consist of him traveling with his Lord and camping in the rough. He’ll usually write to Kara and Eva daily, though usually leaves out details where he nearly gets blasted to cinders by a fireball.

Pictured is the island nation the game is actually set in.

>>
>>94446203
By Autumn, he’s usually home in time for the Fall Harvest. This will be the busiest time of the year for him, but he can spend some time with his children and enjoy some peace and quiet at points throughout the day. Ordus will secretly miss the adrenaline of the battlefield and his fellow knights who he rarely sees outside of campaigning, but he’d never tell his wives that. Most of the Fall will be spent preparing for winter as they tend to be extremely harsh in Ordus’ home and the deep snow makes moving supplies through the mountain roads difficult. Processed ore and skins will move down west while food, wood, spare bedframes and sheets, and peat will come back east. Ordus and Kara both have fairly average intelligence stats so I’d imagine Eva handles quite a bit of the book keeping herself for the winter preparation. Occasionally, the mountain lords will conduct some light raiding against the orcs in an effort to make the winter harsher for the grayskins.

Once winter hits, there really isn’t much to do, boredom is everywhere outside of the daily chores. Odessan castles are well insulated for the climate, but they’re still drafty castles.
Use your imagination as to what usually happens in the winter.
Ordus usually comes out of this season looking especially haggard compared to the rest of the year. Many of his neighbors wonder if his winters are unnaturally harsh with how exhausted he looks once the snow starts to clear.

The daughter in question: Illyana "Illya" Grimmshaw. Though meek around strangers and preferring to be non-verbal, she's a good kid. Acclimated to violence by the Vampire Hunting lifestyle and her natural bloodthirst, but still - naturally playful and curious, and adoring of those who earn her trust (such as the party). She's largely a noncombatant owing to being only 8 years old, but she's inherited her father's knack for tracking and pathfinding (her presence allows others Advantage on Survival rolls).

She's not totally an open book however. In a recent private talk with the party rogue regarding why Strahd approached her alone in the mists the night after they personally encountered him, she admitted to some under-the-table deal that Strahd would not bring harm to her father, a very easy target, so long as Illya continued to feed on human blood (which has had an accelerated effect on her growth compared to the animal blood Nikolai had tried to give her prior that barely kept her satiated). An arrangement originally made by her mother when she was still alive, which allowed the Grimmshaws to have their quiet life.

Just what exactly happened that dreadful night...?

No blood ritual. I literally just pray about it, then don't write until something jumps out at me and it feels Right and Proper. I almost went against all my instincts and used a different girl for the pic with bigger boobs and no personality to her look, but this one? BOOM. Felt PERFECT and I knew I had to redesign the character. The first draft of her story was way hornier with none (None) of the sweet stuff, and because (ONLY because) I switched to this girl I found a bunch of sweet art that made me just melt inside and write out the wholesome stuff and the honeymoon bit. Likewise, if that was the Right and Proper story for your character, it stands to reason it'd include fitting details like matching up with gunpla (I was personally imagining warhammer, but that felt off. I guess I know why now.) Hope you like her!

Also I have some concubine characters I may give Ordus in future. But that'll have to lower in priority than actual wives for people.
>>
>>94446351
Sure thing anon, Though truthfully I'm not sure unmarried concubines are his style. They go against his personal honour. I'm extremely happy with Eva and Kara. I think they contrast towards him very well and they fit right into the setting. There's actually an island archipelago near the coast that Kara could easily have come from. I don't want to sound greedy since I already got two but, Isn't Ordus supposed to have three wives since he rolled a 10 and a two?

Oh, the identical sisters part he probably would have sort of figured out a while ago. He is a Private Dick after all, he probably noticed something was off. >>94449039
Okay, like I said Cindy forgot to mention the whole 'identical quintuplet thing until late, and the others called her a dumbass for it, and dragged him off to get to know him better. Dragged off into the dressing room with the rest of Celia that is (can't see his wife before the ceremony!) He spent the next hour in there with them while they did their make-up and hair talking with them. Occasionally they got him to fetch something (which earned him a smooch on the cheek) and after that they got him to help them get dressed, and I mean with EVERY step, besides the stiletto heels, they were already wearing those. They were dragging it out so they could talk longer see? So like "Help me with my garter?" "Put my bra on for me?" "Help me with my zipper?" "Which choker looks best let's try them all" "I think we're wearing each other's dresses by mistake take them off us and put them on the right girls (this happened four times)" "which lipstick tastes best?" all that nonsense. Then on the way out they told him they were really glad that that dumbass Cindy had landed such a good guy, and all 9 of them gave him an (on average one was technically shorter one was 500) 30 to 100 second frenching as thanks for taking care of her.

Anyway that was at the dress rehearsal, same shit happened on the wedding day but longer. And a couple of her drunk aunts got some lip action in too. Any questions?

>>94449103
A number of games, especially PbtA games, use a 2d6 system. When the game requires you to roll, you roll using the appropriate stat, rolling 2d6 and adding or subtracting the stat as a modifier. At a 6 or below, it's a total miss. On a 7-9, it's a partial hit, where you get what you want, but it's limited or there are complications. On a 10+, it's a full hit, where you get everything with either no consequences at all, or you get extra stuff.

The average roll on 2d6 is 7 to start with, but by having, say, 2 in a stat, your average is higher, and your odds of being able to completely miss is lower. After all, the lowest possible number you can roll at that point is 4.
>>
>>94449128
So is 2 a lot then? It definitely seems better than just no modifiers, but can it get higher than that?
>>
>>94449143
In the way that the system works, your growths include being able to add +1 to any stat. That caps at 2, but you can use one of your growth options allocated for new moves to take a move that says "add +1 to a stat, up to a maximum of 3." So 3 is the cap, but you're really committing to using that stat if you do that.
>>

Ah, that makes sense. I assume about 5 minutes in they started having a conversation through mouth sounds to pass the time. Like >"...So who is she on the phone with anyway?"
>"oh thats her manager, he's a bit overbearing but he means well!"
>"Ah, got it. By the way you might wanna reapply your lipstick after this, I think half of it is on me now
>"Aw, thanks!"
But through Hmmms and other noises.

Also to add on to the previous post, Arthur probably knew which dress was which the first time they put them on, pointed them out to each girl the first time they got them wrong....and then just watched them do it wrong 3 more times. He knew they were fucking with him, but it didnt matter, the conversations were fun. They probably had to keep finding ways to drag it out cause they did NOT expect Arthur to geniunely help and answer their questions as quickly as possible.

How did Cindy feel about all that by the way? Just pouting but knowing that Arthur wouldnt do anything?
>>
>>94449105
>and after that they got him to help them get dressed,
Wait.
That was after an hour.
What were they wearing before that.

Canon. It's hard to be awkward around the in laws after that. They were told to keep it down by said sister though. So they both grunted "Sorry!" with their tongues in each other's mouths. He hasn't seen any of them much after the wedding and before the honeymoon but he's pretty sure he'll get along best with her out of the quints.

You get it! They also didn't dress while he was helping one of them. They made him do All of it for them so it took longer. He can now get a dress off and on Cindy in seconds after all that practice. Gained a level in Palming.

Cindy:
>Guuuuuuys lemme iiiiin I wanna play toooo!

Stiletto heels. Pretty sure I mentioned that.
>>
>>94449341
So i guess Arthur is now just Celias makeup and dress specialist if he's that good. Eidetic Sense Memory is one hell of an advantage when it comes to memorising measurements. He also probably timed everything so that Cindy gets her fair share later, with detailed notes.

As for the road trip, they travelled in style, the biggest most luxurious RV daddy's (her father, not Arthur this time) money could buy. Every convenience and comfort possible, bar, bunk beds, king sized honeymoon bed, everything.

But there are six people, two showers (one of which is a showerhead outside the car) one machine for washing clothes etc. etc. and all the Celia members are used to being in various stages of undress around each other. Arthur's seen it all: Irene bent over in a thong with a towel around her neck looking in the fridge asking him if he can see anything that looks good, the twins dropping their towels to compare sized, Elise jumping out of the shower screaming about a spider and jumping on him, the girls lounging around in his t shirts (earned him some thank you kisses) because ALL their clothing is washing or drying.

And if the girls waited until he and Cindy weren't making love in the showers they'd never get clean. So yeah he doesn't usually notice but he's showered with all of them. Sometimes all at once. And usually while he's making love to Cindy, either in the cramped indoor shower or under the outdoor one.

Ok yeah then he has absolutely just never taken any notice. Irene asks and he just leans over her to check if the coke zero ran out. The twins compared, ask him for an impartial judgement and he gives it. Elise jumps on him, he very deftly bridals her, spins around and puts her on the couch before going to punch it and clean up. He's already assumed that the entire unit just owns his wardrobe now....mostly cause Cindy probably bought most of it. He is very appreciative of not having to wear the cheapest t shirt money can buy anymore. He's probably also had conversations with them once or twice during, and apologised for taking all the water up. They take so long he's probably refilling it every couple hours.

Pendragon has... a lot of stuff. It's a d20 roll-under skill system, where combat rolls are contested. For example:
>You want to give a speech, so you roll your Orate which has a score of 13. If you roll 13 and under, you get it (13 is a crit), and if you roll over, you fail.
>You and a knight are fighting with your swords and shields. You both roll Sword and try to roll under your score. Whoever rolls the highest without failing wins and deals damage to the other, and if you rolled over then you misstep so badly that you don't even raise your shield in time.

Any number over 16 is notable. When people have heard things about you, these are the things that stand out. Which makes sense, because you beat the dice more than 3/4 of the time.

Your physical characteristics are:
>Size
>Strength
>Dexterity
>Constitution
>Appearance

You also have a long series of traits on a scale of 20. For example, if your Honest is 14, your Deceitful is 6; if your Chaste is 19, your Lustful is 1. You also have Passions, which you can acquire more of. You can rely on your Passions for a bonus, but you risk become an emotional wreck if you fail.

As you age, you gain skill, but eventually your Attribute atrophy until you become unable to do anything, at which point your heir becomes your new player character. Women are not knights, traditionally, so unless your group decides that there are lady knights, they act as your stewards and run your lands and house while you're at war half the year. Yes, they are married off politically during earlier times, and romance doesn't become a thing until the reign of King Arthur. Everyone is fine to give favor to Queen Guenevere, as long as they don't overstep like Lancelot eventually does. Having a mistress is improper, but it's not a problem unless you get caught.

Picrel is a list of traits, passions, and skills for the game, taken from a Roll20 sheet.

Right so Cyberpunk Red. Fundamentally speaking Cyberpunk is a transhumanist dystopian anti-corporate punk setting. It's set on an alternate earth that diverged around the eighties. There are a number of points of divergence, technology obviously what with the rampant transhumanism, but one of the big ones is that in Cyberpunk Mega-corporations had in many instances supplanted nation states as the players on the global stage. The corporations were powerful enough that they pretty much divided the world between them, and countries acted more as organs or accessories to their major corporations in a lot of cases. Technically the nations of the world still had power but in practice the corps more or less ran things until the 4rth corporate war. And even after the 4rth corporate war while the nations of the world have taken a lot of power back the corporations still have a ton of influence and act almost like nations unto themselves. And these corporation's, who basically control the world and monopolize all it's resources, they're all ridiculously evil. The most over the top depictions of corporate greed, excess, and sociopathic ruthlessness you get. The kind of places where you have someone whack your boss to get a promotion, or maybe you just plant evidence to black mail them or get them arrested, and if you fuck up your severance package may include getting your head severed from your body. To say nothing of what they are willing to do to people outside of their corporations.

Pendragon is played in a... sort of episodic way, with cycles.

>Spring
You maybe get up to some politics and talk about what's happening this year. Sometimes there's feasts. And so on.
>Summer
The weather is good enough, so we're going to have all our battles before Fall gets here.
>Fall
Like the Spring again, but after the fights.
>Winter
Stuff like minding your land, serving in garrison, escorts, or other jobs, or going on weird adventures. THIS is the phase where you do you age up, do end of year training (including training your squire), check to see if your wife is going to bear you a child (and either of them survive; this is the dark ages and medical practices are horrible).

If the year is relatively uncomplicated, you can do a whole year in one really healthy-sized session. If there's a kajillion battles that year, like because Arthur is in the middle of uniting the land, it may take two or three.

You age, your wife ages, your children age. Your children might die randomly for stupid reasons until they're in their mid-teens, at which point you send your boys to be squires to someone and start planning your girls' marriages. The bride's family pays for the weddings, and the dowry that the groom receives. As a knight, you generally are going to be marrying into families of other landholding knights, and it's difficult to marry anyone in a class above you like high nobility or merchants. But if you're such a damn legendary hero of your time, maybe you can marry into the furthest fringes of nobility (like third or fourth daughters of someone whose station isn't especially high, or into cousins instead of the main line).
>>
>>94450274
So you have the Corps, and all of the corps are constantly struggling with each other for dominance and the sake of market share. They in fact, as alluded to earlier fought wars with each other since each company had/has their own military assets. Cyberpunk Red happens right after the end of the Fourth Corporate war where a number of smaller corps, but most importantly Militech (basically the company that took over a good chunk of the united states) and Arasaka (the company that pretty much absorbed Japan), threw hands. It ended with Arasaka's holdings in Night City (the city where most cyberpunk games take place, basically the default game setting) getting nuked at which point what was left of the US government decided enough was enough, nationalized Militech, and told Arasaka they weren't welcome in North America anymore and that ended the war. But, while they managed to force the end of the war, the US was also kinda collapsing a bit at the time.

See the thing is the war was bad, orbital artillery targeted strikes on utilities and industry chemical warfare etc, but what really fucked things up was the Datakrash. The Datakrash wasn't necessarily part of the war but it happened towards the end of it. See there was this super hacker named Bartmoss. The dude was basically a wizard. And Bartmoss absolutely hated all the corporations, and he hated all the governments. He was very much an anarchist. Bartmoss decided he was gonna do something about all those damn corpos that he hated, so he infected every computer in the world with viruses, and then filled the internet with replicating malicious AI copies of himself. He broke the internet. He burned it all down, which completely destroyed the global communication infrastructure all the corps and nations rely on. Basically singlehandedly killed the information age. They killed him for it, but by that point it was too late he'd fucked the whole world.
>>
>>94450284

And that brings us to Cyberpunk Red. In a lot of ways Night City in Cyberpunk Red, Red specifically mind you, is a kind of post apocalyptic setting because of the Datakrash and it's consequences compounding on the after effects of the war itself. Order has pretty much completely broken down in Night City and you have large swaths called "Combat Zones" that are completely lawless. No order just gangs and warlords going at it in the ruble for whatever scraps they can get their hands on. What used to be the city center is an irradiated crater. The enviorment is fucked (to be fair it was fucked before the war) and there's so much shit in the air that the sky was red for a while and there were "blood rains". During the war Militech and Arasaka were fighting street to street (think Stalingrad but with cyborg super soldiers and shit) so a lot of the city is badly damaged. The Net is gone, the economy that relied on it pretty much collapsed. The city itself is being allowed to operate as an independent city state with no connections to any larger government in part in order to facilitate free trade, but that also means they really don't have any larger government stepping in to help them fix their problems so it's a place where you still get a lot of corporations running rampant.
>>
>>94450297

If you work for a corporation it's incredibly cutthroat, but you also at least aren't on the street. You have a source of income, you have some level of security and safety from forces outside the corp. You eat a few square meals a day. You mostly worry about your rivals hit squad if you aren't at the bottom of the food chain. If you don't work for a corp you live on the streets. If you live on the streets you probably struggle to afford to stay in an apartment you share with a dozen other people while trying to stretch the budget enough to eat kibble regularly. Yes, kibble. A lot of the population lives on what's basically slightly better dog food, and frankly in many cases those are the fortunate ones since at least they can afford kibble and aren't homeless trying to scavenge through irradiated ruble for something to sell to an insane cyborg to hopefully make it through the day. It's lawless squalor filled with violent gangs and criminals and the just plain desperate. You don't leave the (poorly) renovated cargo container you call home without your ballistic armored vest and your piece. Speaking of the gangs there are a lot of them, ranging from a half a dozen homeless orphan preteens who are squatting in an abandoned building and happy to enforce their claim to it with automatic weapons to large organized forces that have taken over chunks of the city. The major players that I am aware of are 6th Street, Maelstrom, The Piranhas, The Bozos, and the Tyger Claws.
>>
>>94450312
6th Street is a gang of vets whose leader blackmailed a bunch of corpos into funding him and his buddies setting themselves up as the protectors of a chunk of the city. They don't like to be called a gang, they deny they are a gang, they prefer to think of themselves as the protectors of their area. They are a gang. Maelstrom, which is a gang made out of the craziest cyborgs in the city. Basically back in the day you had an anti cyborg KKK and Maelstrom organized to fight them off. They won, and kept on trucking on. The gangs big thing is being really into cyberware. They're all borgs to one degree or another and they wear that proudly. They are one of the more vicious gangs in the city, in part because of the cyberware.

This is a good time to talk about Cyber-psychosis. In Cyberpunk if you chrome up too much or too quickly you go insane. Some people can handle more chrome than others. Some people can't handle much at all. In mechanical terms this is represented with your humanity stat. As you gain cyberware you loose humanity. This can be bad. Maelstrom love chrome. It's their whole thing after all. Which means well they're all a little bit nuts, and some of them are really nuts. Speaking of nuts though they aren't the craziest gang. The Bozos are an insane posse of clowns. I'm not kidding it's basically a whole gang of Jokers who often recruit by torture all bio-sculpted so their actual faces are clown faces. The Bozos just kinda run wild. They don't have territory, they aren't organized, they just pop out of the sewers and play "Pranks" on people. The Tyger Claws are basically Yakuza. They run a protection racket for what is basically Night Cities' Japan Town. Then you have the Piranhas. Who are weird. It's a gang. Technically. They throw parties. It's a gang of rockers, strippers, drug dealers and sundry other "entertainers" who cater to the vices of the rich and powerful. And fuck up anyone who tries to get in the way of their business.
>>
>>94450331
So you have the corporations vying for control and influence in the city employing hit squads and hackers against each other, the gangs vying for control of the street and various illegal revenue streams, the average joe just trying to keep a roof over his head and something resembling food in his belly. Pretty much everyone is a cyborg to some degree or another, they all have at least some cyberware, you need it to interact with society, but most probably won't have more than a neural link and some optics unless they have a reason to. Most people also have what is called an agent, which is basically their own personal AI to help them manage their life.

A lot of the game is focused around Edgerunners. The pc's are usually Edgerunners. Edgerunners are mercenaries on the street who take jobs from fixers who act as middle men between said street mercenaries and interested parties like corperations and gangs or private interests. Generally Edgerunners are pretty anti corp rebel types, though you get a lot who are envious of the corpo life. Particularly in the time of the Red, because a lot of smaller corporations are springing up, leading to a much more dynamic environment with opportunities to break into the market. The most common Edgerunners are probably solos, who are essentially action hero types who go in guns a blazing or swords akimbo. Probably the next big one after Solos are Netrunners who are hackers, but instead of typing at a keyboard they jack their brains into the system directly. There are still local networks, just no wider net. So the Netrunner basically has to go along to break into the building to get access to the local net for a given place then fight killer programs that will fry their brain if they fuck up to get data or take over things like cameras and turrets all while there are potentially bullets flying around them depending on how the job has gone thus far.

Mechanics to come in the next series of posts.

So from a gameplay perspective you start with your role. Everyone shares the same skills. No matter what role you pick you can still shoot a gun for instance, but each role has a special ability that defines them and makes them different from the others. For Netrunners for example they can interface with the net. No one else can. So you have your role which gives you your special ability for that role, and then your attributes. Your attributes are generated at character creation. You can't increase them, except through chipping in cyberware. The max any attribute can be at character creation is 8. Only way to go above eight is to get cyberware that increases that attribute. Skills cap out at 10, and can't go past 6 at character creation. You start with 4 ranks in your role ability and that also caps out at 10.

Attached is part of my character sheet so you can see what skills go with what attributes, which tells you a lot about what a character is good at. When you make a check its Stat+Skill+1d10. You either have contested checks where its your stat+skill+1d10 rolled against their stat+skill+1d10, or you have rolls where you are trying to hit a target number. For example my character has equipment that lets me hack people's agents. The roll to hack an agent would be Electronics+Tech+1d10. I also have cyberware installed in my cyberdeck that lets me add my ranks in Interface. So with an electronics of 5, a tech of 8, and Interface (the Netrunner role ability) at 4 I start with a base 17+1d10 to hack an agent. The DC's for hacking agents are 17 for cheap agents, 21 for regular agents, 24 for luxury agents. My character is very good at hacking agents. I built for it intentionally after getting some advice and it's probably gonna be a large part of my MO. If you hack their agent you can steal their info, track their location, record their calls and messages etc. Very useful.

I'll talk a bit about derivative stat's in my next post, as well as gear.

Health is determined by body and will by referencing the following table. My character's body isn't great, and his will is only pretty ok, so the character has kinda shit HP. Cyberware to jack up my body stat and get less squishy is absolutely a priority in the mid to long term. Speaking of cyberware, humanity. That stat is derived from your Empathy stat. You run out of humanity you go Cyber-Psycho. You don't just loose it from cyberware either, though that is the most common reason. Traumatic events can also cause humanity loss. You can regain humanity with therapy and various practices that improve mental health, but that can be hard to come by in Night City. Most large cyberware installations cost about 2d6 humanity. Smaller ones might be 1d6 or 1d6/2.

Luck gives you luck points, you can spend them to increase a roll by 1. They refresh at the beginning of each session. Speaking of rolls attached is also a difficulty chart to give you an idea of what you are shooting for when rolling. Good point of reference.

Your gear in cyberpunk is also pretty important. Cyberware is included in gear. A solo needs a good gun. Doesn't matter much how well they shoot if all they have is a shitty gun. The most relevant piece of gear for a Netrunner is the Cyberdeck that lets him interface with the net. It determines how many programs they have to work with when jacked in. Poor one has 5, good one has 7, great one has 9. In the case of the character I've posted in this thread he has a good one. I didn't skimp but I couldn't afford anything amazing. A lot of how good you are in netrunning is determined by how many programs and how good the programs you have are. When netrunning most checks are interface+1d10 v DV, so stats don't really help only your interface rank. Which again starts at 4.

>>
>>94450741
The other really important thing for a Netrunner is the ability to see virtuality. Can't Netrun without it. The cheap option is to have a set of Virtuality goggles. It works but it's very conspicuous. Basically a VR headset. Pic related is an example of a netrunner wearing them. The alternative is to have cyber optics and then get an add on installed that lets you just see virtuality through your cyber eyes. Pricey, but much less conspicuous. I did pick those up in character creation, because a large part of my build and concept was being sneaky, and also being able to lie and bluff my way past people, and that's hard to do while rocking a vr headset. Optics are much less obvious. Lot better for infiltration type work.

I was personally thinking Mastermind Rogue with Investigation and Perception Expertise, along with the Keen Mind (eidetic memory) and Mage Slayer (magic isn't real) feats. Who definitely doesn't see a contradiction between thinking magic is fake/heresy and hiring a wizard to open a portal to the elemental plane of fire to come back with as many of her sisters as he can carry.

Also despite the atronach picture, Genasi aren't made of fire, just hot enough that she has to wear almost nothing to be comfortable. And makes an excellent bed warmer in winter.

Not OP or Other Waifu anon, but I've been working on one for >>94435805 which I finally found an image for, and which I should be able post next thread.
>>
>>94451505
She'd wear it.
>>
>>94451509

Oh I was also starting one for that guy too so I guess he's gonna have a couple of options to pick from.
Excited to see what you come up with man.

testing if the img count dont go up
>>
>>94451586
I mean, its a link, why would the image count go up? Besides with how many images are actually in the thread, we'll be fine with the next one. Even with Anons reposting their sheets in one image.
>>
Also probably a better topic for the start of next thread but I've been thinking about compiling all the characters into a pdf or something, and possibly removing the references to specific characters and settings and making like a wives of /tg/ quick guide for dms to insert into their games as NPCs or love interests or whatever.
Any interest in that or should I just leave it alone and keep filling requests?

I just thought it would be cool to produce something out of these threads for everyone to use.
>>
>>94451633
Nah, do it anon. Its only gonna get harder to do the more wives are made, better to get a headstart now.
>>
>>94451629

Survival mostly, conquest too. All their neighbors are extremely hostile and dangerous. They're magically stunted and have to rely on conventional methods for defense. I always had a headcannon they were some kind of escaped Endarran slaves from a couple thousand years ago and that's why they seem to be magically poor compared to the rest of the world, but my GM has never confirmed that.

The Odessans were semi-tribal raiders living in the mountains who culturally shared a lot with the orcs while the Astanans were already a pretty standard medieval-esque farming society. A few hundred years ago when things were a lot more peaceful, the Odessans invaded Astana and subjugated the place to get their hands on their far superior land. The population of Astana was several times larger but Odessa was a pure warrior society and superior weapons thanks to access to rarer materials like adamantine. The Astanans basically decided to roll over since it was better than any other alternative if the Odessans were open to doing the dying and chose to marry off their princess to the Odessan king. Over time, the king and his descendants slowly went native a moved the court to Astana. Slowly they all "civilised" as Western culture became fashionable to the mountain lords.

In the modern day their society is heavily blended, but Astana essentially won the culture war, even if the king speaks Odessan as his first language. Most knights and lords are from the west and the bulk of their wealth is situated there. They still have separate languages, but most educated or traveled people can speak both.
The Odessa Mountains aren't just used for their mineral wealth though. In the constant waxing and waning of territories, the mountains present an impregnable fortress the population has had to retreat into many times in history. The best of the castles are built directly into the mountains and have their stonework laced with mithril to protect against magic.

That's honestly pretty dope. Props to your GM.

Man the wait for the next thread is killing me.
>>
>>94451757
How cold and long are the winters?
>>
>>94451685
Ah, i forgot about that.....Fuck it, might as well dump a bunch of lewds now whilst the threads still up. Can just compile em later.
>>
>>94451812
Average temperatures sit around 1-2°C for the winters. Usually, snows start to disappear around what would be their equivalent of May, but snowstorms are not terribly uncommon in June.
>>
>>94451575
Looking forward to what you have as well. I really hope he likes mine. I'm pretty happy with it.

Hey OP you around? We getting the new thread tonight or tomorrow?

If you guys give me a list of traits and values for each trait I'll make a generator.
Example:
Hair Color: blonde, blonde, black, white
Where a repeated number is more likely to appear as I will roll on the whole trait to select the value.
>>
>>94452621
I swear something like that exists and I've seen it posted. Might have been on a different board.
>>
>>94452621
>>94452666
You know you can just use ChatGPT or similar for that right (traits lists)?
Great idea though! If >>94452621 you want I can give you a hand with that in next threads.
