It's implied in the Necromunda lore books and Priests of Mars that the Imperium actually possesses several STCs, but they don't realize that they're STC. For instance, Archmagos Kotov discovered that every Arc Mechanicus ship ironically contained a complete and functional STC library, but the Admech had misidentified the STC module as a basic and unimportant cogitator. Unfortunately, he was mindwiped before he could tell anyone. Furthermore, the STC AI seem to actively be avoiding the Imperium. They'll work with non-Imperial humans, the Votann, and even xenos, but hide away their functions from the Imperium and chaos. Why is that?

The SoB are significantly more fragile than the intercessors, the agents unit has a totsl of 14 wounds while the intercessors have a total of 20 and ofc all the marines have a higher toughness On the other hand, the agents unit handily wins the ability game. SoB have sticky objective, the only ability the intercessors have, while also getting a once-per-game free command reroll, and the inquisitor has a 3+ roll to refund 1CP EVERY time a strategem targets the unit What do y'all think? Am I cooking or going crazy

When you think about it logically the Tau trying to find a way to interbreed with humans is extremely logical. They lack psykers and know that they can't really fight chaos, the ethereals just suppress the information (and no the nicassar can't help the tau with this, that was always fanon, their psychic abilities are very limited in scope.) But breeding a new caste of Tau/human hybrids with brighter souls that are still vulnerable to ethereal mind control....well....isn't that an idea

>>96886209As someone whose only experience of painting Death Guard is the KT starter set minis, they're really fun to paint even with having to paint all the trim and fleshybits all over. You're able to just go crazy with the amount of washes you use and it's okay if the paintjob is a bit messy/sloppy because you're painting the messy/sloppy guys. Pick up a set of Plague Marines and give them a try to see if you like painting them, if you don't you don't have to commit to a full army but you'll have some nice looking minis done up.
