So anyways, nothing that was posted is actually a solution.Ultima doesn't work. You can just put the counters on a land that isn't Ba Sing Se. They Ultima, you lose a Swamp then get right back to the beats next turn. If you're up against a list you know can threaten Ba Sing Se with tech options, you just don't put the counters on it and put them on something else (Typically whatever Restless land you go for.)The amount of counterplay Ba Sing Se has against the cards that supposedly keep it in check is wild. They have Field? Put the counters on itself. They have Ultima? Put it on another land. They have both? Yeah, sure, so you have a 50/50 chance of losing one (1) copy of a non-legendary land. This is actually not a big deal.On top of that, manlands just hard counter sorcery speed removal in general, so if you're relying on Ultima to counter it then you're going to be stuck getting domed by Restless Cottage and friends.It is far, far harder to deal with than you think it is. I think the Altanak package would be an interesting option for it too, for potential highroll wins and additional backup if it somehow does get cleared.

Also Dimir is general more fun to play with or against since you have to be more active with stuff like hand control because you didn't have the EZ mode which is white removal. You also had to pay attention to timing since the only way to remove non-creatures was to bounce and then duress them or bounce and then counter later. Whereas Azorius control is always a plague that results in players just sitting back doing nothing all game with little regard to timing because they can always just deal with any threats with single cards.
