>>97050514°<
Anyone got prints for Idoneth 4th ed Battletome and Lumineth 2nd ed Battletome?
>>97050497>tqshoddy image but I liked the pillar thingies in the 3rd edition CoS tome.speaking of, with all the new leaks was there any indication when all this new stuff was supposed to come? I heard people say dwarfs are the last battletome of the edition.
Will you get a cockfort since it seems it's going to be available to any faction?
>female only Khorne cult>they worship him as a dogYou just know
>TQNot from a battletome but from the Warcry booklet that had jade obelisks against the chameleons.
The quotes cool and all but I just REALLY like the hair here, good lord. Fucking elves wish they had hair as good as this. >>97050543If it looks like it’ll be fun to sculpt fire and demons on it, sure. Doubt I’ll ever play with it.
Since demigryph knights are lost to CoS, it's only fair that they get beetle knights to replace their feathery companions.
>>97050551>Since demigryph knights are lost to CoS, it's only fair that they get beetle knights to replace their feathery companions.could go pretty hard
>>97050547Khorne does not care from where the blood flows
>>97050548>>97050550Is the jade obelisk good in DoT? They certainly look awesome and i like the pickaxe weapons. Also bows or melee weapons?
>>97050550That reminds me, there never was any tie-in fiction for 2e. For some reason they kinda stopped publishing that stuff altogether for Warcry and Underworlds.
>>97050578They’re really good as a 1 of. You can teleport them and destroy pretty much any faction terrain right then and there. It’s pretty funny.
>>97050581BL is a drought in general now No Darkwater tie in Named character books come out two years after the mini releases
>>97050551That's gay and way too specific to ghyran.Gargoylan steeds or nothing.
>>97050551Too fanciful. Astra Militarum is supposed to be grounded in mudcore realism
Gitmob could never.
>>97050631this post was fact checked by real bad moon fanatics:>no lies 'ere git
>>97050631Gitz are so fucking kino and gitmob is just alright i guess, they feel really weird to me and just dont fit into the army.
>>97050596This, if anything another cavalry should be clockwork steeds with grenadier riders
>>97050543Maybe. I like the idea of shooty KB but if the model is shit then I will try to proxy it instead
>>97050657They can barely put together gunpowder weapons anymore, they're not gonna be shitting out cavalry formations of robo horsies anytime soon. I know it sucks but that's where we are.
>>97050665>They can barely put together gunpowder weapons anymoreYour ironweld bro?
>>97050665Robo horses occur in nature in Chamon. There's one in Vindicarum coat of arms
>>97050665they already have robo horses, anonand cogforts, and the level of gunpowders for firelances
>>97050671
>>97050670They must be on strike or something since they stopped manufacturing rifles.
>>97050681They didn't stop.
>>97050677>Greywater Fastness is the designated cogfop city with the mechanical animals>Vindicarum gets to have clockwork horses and cogs on its coat of armsThere are so many peeves to have with the 3e revamp.
>>97050543Depends entirely of they come with extra parts for the other GA.Im not interested in fielding a cogfort that is operated by normal humans.
This is pretty cool.https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/0eh4n7up/make-your-own-custom-faction-terrain-in-path-to-glory-blighted-wilds/
>>97050694greywater is in ghyranthe proper cogfop must be in chamon, it's only fair
>>97050697>Ghyranite beasts RoRGod I hope the book has a bestiary section.
>>97050710I read it as bestiality section...
I choose to believe there's a cute girl behind the beak.
>>97050754I thought we all took that for granted
>>97050551>>97050754Look, I'm just saying, a horse is guaranteed to get fucked up by a fanged maggot fly that's twice its size. But beetles have tough shells, they're gonna be way tougher to bite into with a lamprey mouth.
>>97050754Dih, it's Red Riding Hood
>>97050770beetles are small, the giant fly would swallow it whole
>>97050697Rotswords are looking so fucking good man, I don't care about nurgle but fuckkkIf they bring out an updated spearhead with the new kits in like 2 years I might grab it, I don't think I want a full army. But the actual new spearhead they showed off was so laughably bad.
>206€ for Warhammer Quest: Darkwater
>>97050813A hefty sum but well within the realm of expectation.
>>97050813The box and the ptg book are probably my only purchases for warhammer this year so I can justify but it shouldn’t be comparable to fucking skaventide
>>97050813source?

>>97050886I like this one.
>>97050901Terrible flat digital crap. Somehow worse than Silver Tower/Shadows It's such a shame, could've thrown some terrain in at least. Gloomhaven looks better
>>97050694In Verminslayer they nerfed them from accurate imitation animals to just platforms with legs. In Soulslayer Vindicarum has mech suits like Fallout or something
>>97050692mogged
>As you play through the game you’ll unlock rewards and new heroes for future playthroughs. Set items, alternative rules for heroes, and even a secret encounter await, giving you tonnes of fun across multiple tries. Not only that, but since you’ll see only a fraction of the available cards for each act and boss on each run, you’ll be discovering new abilities, events, and encounters as you play, leading to an endlessly replayable game you can enjoy time and again.>secret encounterI'm curious how that's supposed to work. An optional run-in with one of the bosses? An epilogue battle against one of the heroes?
>>97050925Is this a new tow model? Ironically it looks quite overdesigned
>>97050951>An epilogue battle against one of the heroes? The elftaur will betray you.
>>97050899>PATH TO GLORY: BLIGHTED WILDS (ENGLISH)>50,00If it's priced like a battletome then I hope it has the page count of one.
>>97050995Confirmed yesterday, it's around 90 pages, so about the same as a battletome.
Did this bloodreaver today. I know it’s glossy from the wash but I’m gonna varnish it and clean it up if need be>>97050631I feel like stormcast win this unless the gitz have like Skaven levels of numbers>gitmob>Too expensive>sun worshipping surface dwelling goblins in a book full of cave dwellers that worship the moon (why) >weird merchant hook noses and triple chins with no neckThey’re just really out of place in a faction that doesn’t want them or need them IMO
>>97050754If the whispers about cities falling are true then I expect the stinkers will win this one.
>>97050986I'm betting on the useless SaintUnless the water bitch was the mastermind all along, she personally knows Nurgle villains after all
>>97050638>>97050647>>97051005post your gits
Has anyone read through the seraphon novel?
>>97051044Sure thing, friendoBut I haven’t painted any in over a year, I must admit. Nurgle took their place. Don’t mind the dust either.
Got to play some games over the weekend, had a lot of fun!!Praying to the dark gods for point reductions in the next warscroll
>>97051125I know that StD were strong at the start of the edition. Did they get nerfed that bad since then? Did they change the gaunt summoner/chosen/slaanesh mark combo? I see you have some HoH cannons. Are they a RoR or something?
they're just mocking spiderfangcels nowhttps://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/8qvzbgol/play-hide-and-seek-with-shelobtm-gollumtm-and-a-new-middle-earthtm-journal/
>>97051211>plasticuh, that's something
>>97051211Where is her hot lady form?
I thought I got a great deal on the Blades of Khorne Spearhead on ebay. Turns out the might skyllcrushers were missing. Had to find them separately, and they were already assembled by someone else. Normally I wouldn't take them pre-assembled but literally wouldn't find them anywhere. Getting started on them. They look ok. I'm really looking forward to working on the Slaughterpriest. That sculpt literally got me into AoS.
>>97051225We knew everything would become Plastic for a while now.I would be surprised if we see any new revealed kits to be Resin in the future
>>97051152The direct nerfs hurt sure, but the changes to AoA and AoD really stung Archaon. The army just feels very fair and reasonable in a game where every strong army has at least one bs mechanic. Yeah the Helsmith cannons are a RoR. Not sure how I feel about them. The rockets hitting a monster can be so good, but it's a 4+ to hit and even if you spent the cp you can wiff on a 3+.
>>97051307>StD vs stormcastsovlfvl matchup, how'd it go?
>>97050697Custom regiments seem neat as hell but AoA has been so underwhelming in 4th that I'm sure it'll be worthless
>>97051284True, but the last bits of resin they shoved out the door were basically all for Middle Earth. The pivot was so recent that half the models GW made for a middle earth movie that literally only came out a year ago were still resin. Definitely looks like plastic only going forward though.
>>97051307>StD>fairlol
>>97051284I'm worried for the old world as a safe heaven for old model if they're so strict even with the last wheel that's mesbg
>>97051232Stoya is spiritually AoS coded.
>>97051284>>97051375Is there a special reason for this change? I was under the impression that resin was cheaper for smaller-scale games, which isn't likely to change for mesbg anytime soon. Some new bong laws or something? New technology making plastic cheaper?
>>97051390I assume its to streamline the process and they can get a better deal if they buy even more plastic from 1 supplier.
>>97051385i cant think of a more fair army than slavesall they do is move forward and hit stuff
>>97051390The UK government will fine them for producing Resin, which is more environmentally unfriendly than plastic production
>>97051345Good way to use old Blightkings and the possibly squatted Maggotkin heroes
>>97051414oh yeah sure.....except that their army leader can just shut off one of your units whenever he decides to, and that the army has more activations wars strikes first, strikes last, fights twice bullshit that almost any other army in the game, and access to 3d6 charge on any unit they want
>>97051488>and access to 3d6 charge on any unit they wanti guess somebody doesnt read the errataimagine being filtered by slaves to darkness lmao
>>97051493did they errata demonic speed? i dont see it
>>97051512do spells still require rolling dice?
>>97051448Nah, it's a production cost. Someone has to measure, milk, pour, rotate, etc every mould for resin whereas plastic is just >insert mould >fill plastic chute >operate for a day>automatically spits out sprues on a conveyor belt for inspection Not to mention plastic kits costs a fraction of a pence to make
>>97051519this is a dice game, yes. are....are you suggesting StD arent bullshit because you have to roll dice in a dice game?boy this is some real bottom of the barrel rhetoric
>>97051524Jup and just having one material also cuts down on logistic nonsense
>>97051532slaves arent bullshit because anyone with a double digit IQ can counter a non-flying pure melee army
Dracothian Guard seem terribly underpowered or overcosted? Is it just a case of afterthought warscrolls soon to be squatted or something?
>>97051734Hard swin back from making them OP last edition
>>97051734Soon to be squatted yes also good thing last edition must become bad so you buy next good thing (the gryph riders)
>>97050514The fact that they based this off a basic bitch petco veiled chameleon instead of something based and interesting is a little disappointing but I do like that he's just a chameleon
>>97051734They were pretty busted last edition iirc, got hit a little bit too hard probably.
>>97051211What? There's going to be an Age of Sigmar and Middle-earth crossover?
Dont forget to make a GW account/log into your account to get a chance at the raffle.
So having returned from my trip and now like halfway through the big Archaon trilogy. Does anyone like this character? He's such a fucking pumped up asshole, the closest I can compare him to is some shit that like one of those fedora trench coat atheists in high school going "Heh, yeah FUCK Sigmar, but also FUCK Chaos gods. I'm gonna do my own thing" I was hoping for at least some fun like the Malus Darkblade books or Thanquol schizo shit but they're just playing it straight.I was expecting a bit more characterization but holy fuck he's just the worst. Does it get any better in AOS, as of now while reading he literally cannot lose, is a genius, and also the strongest.
>>97051091No, no, none, not, nor, nog, yes.... I say no.
>>97051873It's a good advice to ignore his books entirely and stick with the archetype, rather than the characterbecause his motivations and actions have been written by retards, shattered 10 years ago already, and never recovered
>>97051858nah it's just shelob for mesbg
>>97051890I feel like I've gotta finish this shit since I'm halfway through but god damn. What a fucking shame, I'm staying the fuck away from anything by this Rob Sanders fucker. I feel like I'm 2 pages away from Archaon going "Heh, nothing personal." I think the worst part of it is you'd figure they'd want to kinda build up a journey, change him overtime show the effects of chaos. But no, we get the equivalent of fucking montages of a paragraph per feat >"And then he fought Angry The Murderfucker, little did Angry realize he would be the one Murderfucked by the powerful lord of chaos who then Murderfucked him." Like, wow, I've learned so much about this fucking character from this. Nagash is so much better, it's not even a question.
>>97051915and Gollum
Whats a good clay/putty to use for adding a little bit of volume to bases that are getting a crackle medium over them? Just super sculpey?
>>97051225Trust me bro, you can be a grog about it if you want, but I gave someone a hand building one of these at my lgs(yes we needed 4 hands, it was that bad) and I'm never building another one again, despite owning spiderfang and it being a good option for kitbashing. The old one was too fucking heavy for its legs, but it's legs were also too heavy for its body so even turning it upside down to glue the legs was a struggle as they would fall under their own weight so you have to prop them up and glue each one, one at a time and let the glue cure completely, or use activator. Also if you bump one of the other legs while gluing the next, it will break off due to the tiny contact patch so you have to pin everything
>>97051864What raffle? What are they giving away? Are they going to give away all the Battletomes from all editions as prizes?
>>97051325>sovlfvl matchup, how'd it go?I think it was a bad match up for my opponent, he had a lot of infantry bodies, but my list was quite fast so it was up to me to pick who and when I fought. I was able to pincer attack him on each side and getting Eye of Sheerian for the double turn sealed the deal. He ended up higher than me on the tourney leader board tho, so the list must be decent.
>>97051936>https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/m5xrhsrw/remember-this/seems to be most of the game lines, sans Necromunda, TOW and Bloodbowl, even LI is in the giveaway
>>97051929Milliput is very cheap. Absolute cheapest would be some kind of hardware filler compound. Just a heads up, crackle paint doesn't behave normally when applied to a varied surface instead of a flat one
>>97051921Never read them myself but always heard they were dogshit yeah. Sorry anon.>I feel like I've gotta finish this shit since I'm halfway through but god damnLel iktf, I really can't put down a book midway no matter how shitty it is or how uninterested I am
>>97051929Yeah super scalpy/Polymerclay is probably the cheapest
>>97051933I've been making warhammer models for 25 years and I'll never understand the love affair some people have with metal. Shits impossible to convert, glue doesn't hold worth a damn, paint chips super easy, parts bend, almost always monopose, your carrying case weighs as much as a full toolbox, the semi porous surface just absolutely drinks paintI'll take plastic any day of the week. Hell I'll take finecast over metal warts and all. After putting together and painting the metal penitent engine for 40k I don't think I've bought a metal mini since
>>97051921Nagash is allowed to be a dick, he's allowed to be hypocritical and flawed and wrong. Archaon and Abbadon suffer from having to be some faggot writer's idea of "the bad guy who's actually in the right".Honestly, spare yourself the waste of time, the less people know about archaon, the better he is as a character. I could write the functional roundup of his character, but it's essentially less than a post long.
>>97051953They should make a beanbag series of soft toys. >squig>slann>nurgling>brimstone horrorWho else has a round little critter that would work
>>97051953Imma be honest if I won this I'd sell like 80% of it. Nothin personnel, I just would NOT have ANY space for all that shit
>>97051984>if I won this I'd sell like 80% of it.I think that the case with most people who would win this prize
>>97051272Which slaughterpriest anon? The one with the bowling ball and sword or the bald one? Cool crushers though, khorne mortals are a lot of fun. The crushers can be harder to find a good deal online despite being present in almost every blades of khorne bundle they've ever made. I think a lot of people buy them for 40k.
>come get your STD ridden "rewards"
>>97051390Plastic they can make the claim is partially recycled material, and get a kickback from the government for it. Resin they are probably being charged to dispose of the chemicals required for rinsing and prepping resin moulds as well as the material it's self being single use.
>>97052002I just picked up a bunch of khorne heroes myself too! (Got both the ball priest and axe one, alongside gorehulk since I had the underworlds band) Khorne models are so fucking cool, I'm glad I got some of the stuff before it gets too expensive after getting cut from the range. That ball priest is probably one of the most iconic khorne models out there.
>>97051984Yeah I think everyone with sense would do that and then buy stuff they thought was cool instead. The question is whether or not gws return policy applies to those winnings and whether you could go in and swap them out for NIB kits you want if they're unopened
>>97051981>slann>little
>>97052016I'm really happy I picked up gorechosen when it dropped ages ago. Was a great buy(price of 1.5 characters for 4 characters). Some of the khorne shit is so tough to find now
>>97052016>Khorne models are so fucking cool, I'm glad I got some of the stuff before it gets too expensive after getting cut from the range. Why would it get cut from the range?
>>97052031I just picked him because they're the shape of a beanbag already, but you're right, they aren't small>>97052053The range is big, and some of those kits have been in production since before aos. I'm sure bloodreavers are starting to pick up mould defects by now with how heavily printed they were for bundles
>>97051734theyre a little overcosted, but not by muchtempestors (the crossbow version) are at the right price (170)
>>97052053Both exalted deathbringers (spear and axe) and aspiring deathbringer got nixxed so we could get generic lameass nerd one. And Ball and chain Slaughterpriest was only available in spearhead and some other boxes but is no longer just up for sale individually.>>97052052I just nabbed basically all the older heroes from a guy for like 120ish bucks (skullgrinder, 2 exalted, 1 aspiring, skulltaker, slaughterpriest with axe, and Skarr) They just look fun as fuck to hobby and I didn't wanna miss out on my chance (also good to have lots of heroes if I wanna do the big hero AOR)
>>97051953If I won this it'd honestly be a drag listing all the 40k stuff on eBay :(
>>97051976Archibald is all three of those things what are you talking about
>>97052059they would make very good beanbags, that much is true
>>97052077All the khorne aos heroes are perfect, ive never heard any complaints about them
>>97052133>life sized latex beanbag slann with giant giant alien frog dildo mounted in itWould be the best selling seraphon product of all time knowing their playerbase
>>97052151alright not too much now
>>97052117Archaon literally cannot lose in these books, he's died like 12 fucking times and I'm halfway through the books. The whole premise is "Well Be'lakor says he can't lose so he won't" which feels like bullshit. Nagash was also a little shitter who had to lie cheat and steal his way to being powerful, Archaon was literally just born with easy mode and got everything handed to him.Archaon's biggest injury is that he got really mad and smashed a rock too hard and lost an eye. Nagash took ages to get to be a super powerful influential necromancer. We get more details, they don't just skip us ahead and have it be "And then Nagash became a giant skeleton who defeated X, Y, and Z in amazing battles! Anyways here's what he's doing now." I'm sure Archaon could have a great trilogy, but the moron at the helm writing for it did a horrible job.
>>97052117No, he's not, he's presented as always being right, and in those cases where facts end up proving him wrong, because the narrative requires them to be wrong, the clash is simply forgotten the next page and he's back into being the know-it-all who's actually in the right.
>>97052162>Nagash is allowed to be a dick, he's allowed to be hypocritical and flawed and wrong. This is what I’m contesting him winning or losing is irrelevant to this >>97052167Like when?
>>97050527>>97050497https://litter[DOT]catbox[DOT]moe[SLASH]8wk1xyxymu4pobp4[DOT]pdf
>>97051953Holy shit, how much will all that cost in dollars?
>>97052262Fair, I mean Archaon can be a dick but so far I have yet to see him be portrayed (In these books, again no clue on his other shit) as wrong. I think the best way I can think of to describe this is it feels like the difference between how the author looks at the character.Nagash is played up as a horrible terrible villain dickhead, and the "camera" looks at him with that in mind. Archaon is a hypocritcal evil dickhead but the pov is that he is totally in the right. It's hard for me to really justify this because I didn't make the original point but in Archaon's book he is being played more like an anti-hero than a villain, where his ends justify the means. As opposed to Nagash who is just an evil dickhead.>>97052289More than 8, AT LEAST
>>97050813lol.lmao. Even
>>97050813>206€I'll live, I don't have to buy it right away anyways. I got Cursed City way later anyhow.

>>97052262>Like when?Remember when he based his entire new persona around the realisation that sigmar isn't a real god and isn't striving to make things better for mortals? And then sigmar appeared in front of him and was fighting to make things better for mortals?Remember how he changed afterwards? That's right, it didn't, he still thinks sigmar is undeserving of worship and is still seething against him and all the good he's doing for mortals, and the faggot writers try to portray this as the intellectually superior philosophy.Remember when his plan was to kill the world so either a new one could be born without gods fucking over mortals, or so that the suffering of mortals could finally cease? And then he destroyed the world and the worlds after that were even more chock full of gods with even greater influences over mortals? Remember how it changed him afterwards? That's right, it didn't do a damn thing, he's still bringing the apocalypse left and right thinking it will work this time around, and is actively fighting against gods who did objectively build a utopian golden age for mortals, unlike the chaos gods he incidentally helps, and, again, the faggot writers try to portray this as the intellectually superior philosophy. There's a good story to be told about archaon being a broken man unable to control his own fate as the puppet of the gods, but no, instead he must be the one guy who's actually right and in perfect charge of his own destiny and in defiance of the chaos gods, and actually going to kill them for real this time around, swear on me mum, he will make a paradise, just ignore the demon-gods feasting on one reality after another as he acts impotently.
>>97052406>record No, no this guy is the one who’s basically on par with those YouTubers who basically just do filibusters right? Anyway his own information conflicts with what he says in that post right there.
>>97052424Cope
>>97050543If it's available for any faction, absolutely. Would be so easy to kitbash for KO, put some gears on it, some KO face helmets on the sides, a few gunners up top. Would be very excited if that was the case.
>>97052392nah that was just a post on here that wfg fell for en masse for some reason.Idk if this guy ever leaked anything important, but I do know he "leaked" a previous arcane journal that ended up being something totally different, so I wouldn't trust the guy until I see some confirmed stuff.Either way this is such a non leak, it doesn't actually say anything:>it's doing good, I can't tell you how good though, but you wouldn't believe it anyway!>we're getting more kits, no I won't tell you which ones, I definitely know I'm just not telling you!>second edition will come but later! also it may or may not make current books useless, can't tell for certain though :)>legacy factions may be coming back, or they may not, or only some may be cominglike this stuff tells you less than the blurred up CoS shit somehow
>>97052427>And then sigmar appeared in front of him and was fighting to make things better for mortals?See that's what fucking confuses me, Sigmar was trapped in a fucking magical wind unable to do anywhere near as much as he wanted to. Archaon literally has the man in front of him doing good shit. It really is the case of "the less you know the better" him being a former sigmar worshipper turned sour would make so much more sense if it wasn't 1 to 1 how it was described in the book.
>>97052294More than 8 thousand dollars, right?
Guys I think Age of Sigmar is over and the game is dead. I am not willing to go into details but according to my sources Games Workshop is very concerned about Age of Sigmar and they consider it a total failure as of now. The Old World is overtaking it according to every metric and every trusted source I know of and it's just a matter of time before it becomes Games Workshop's main game.In light of this I urge everyone here to prepare to sell their Age of Sigmar armies and buy NEW The Old World armies if you still want to participate in the hobby. Remember I have very trusted sources who say this. Get rid of your Age of Sigmar army and please, please buy The Old World kits as they are the future. Again, please buy The Old World kits. It is important that you fully support The Old World and cut your ties with Age of Sigmar if you still want to stay in the hobby.

>>97052571oh sweet fucking christ did he actually just buy stormcast...? What a moron. He didn't even get enough views to make up for all the shit he burned that probably would be worth a decent chunk of change.
>>97052585That’s what happens when you stand next to burning plastic for a prolonged period of time.
>>97050543No but I'd like to convert up a Parasite Engine to count as one
You guys acting like TOW doing well is bad for us. Oh no, more proxies and alternative non blacked humans for AoS. How horrible!
>>97052599I always knew about this video but the followup being he just bought into the new shit anyways is just the dumbest shit.
>>97052541You say Age of Sigmar is finished and that Old World will be Game Workshop's number one franchise? I believe you, about as much as I believe a $35.70 bill exists.

>>97052605>humans This here is the issue. The worst offender is that they’re fucking boring looking humans too.
>>97052605>Oh no, more proxies and alternative non blacked humans for AoSI want nothing to do with a game for fascists.
>>97052541Relax, old man, there's no reason to be jealous. The Old World will eventually become as popular as Age of Sigmar, but for that we'll have to wait more than a decade or more
>>97052401That's nice but don't you think it would look better if it was a wood elf with the lower body of a deer?
Just for fun, how would you guys go about creating a sort of "medium tier" daemon in between the lesser and greater daemons of the other 3 main gods? I really like these guys, and while I know they're a bit more complicated than just middle stage daemons, being tied to the land and shit, I do like the idea of these medium tier guys.
>>97052605>You guys acting like TOW doing well is bad for us.It literally is as long as the two departments are in active economic competition with one another for budget and concepts to use.But then again, the fearmongering is just shitposting.
Can someone please share the 4th edition battletome for Blades of Khorne? I especially would like to see the anvil of apotheosis pages
>>97052704How close can I get to Lady D for a bigger daemonette with a big super sharp nail claw hand wearing more elaborate gettups. And then I cum on them. Other than that Khorne is pretty easy, Bloodletters that are buffer, maybe just give them more of a weird khorgorath skull face. Tzeentch already has iridescent horrors that fill the role.
>>97052645I mean that’s a bug.
>>97052704>nurgle: possession of the landbasically nurgle trolls with tainted waystones on them>khorne: possession of the bladebasically empty armors where the weapons are the demons piloting them >tzeentch: possession of the spellbasically sentient spells draped in scrolls, like bigger horrors, but more ethereal >slaanesh: possession of the artistry basically animated statues, cracking to reveal the rotten demons underneath the otherwise immaculate marbleworks
>>97052704>>97052763It's interesting how it took one update to make Nurgle go from the least interesting to the most interesting with all the forest pagan shit.
>>97052796Nurgle was never the least interesting, that's always been khorne, despite being the most popular and with the largest support, while slaanesh is the one people are the least interested in, and tzeentch the one with the worst models.
>>97052730And the fix is Kurnothi.
>>97052817>while slaanesh is the one people are the least interested inIt's not that they are least interested in and more that HoS models are too intimidating to paint for many.
>>97052704Continuing the "preferred realm" theming>Khorne: Fiery essences bound to brass frames, similar to k'daai but more bestial; something like a flesh hound crossed with a juggernaut but on fire>Slaanesh: Daemonic shadows bound to a mortal host/victim; think a model of a cultist posing unnaturally because their shadow (standing behind or emerging from them) is puppeting them>Tzeentch: I don't really have any ideas for this but it would probably involve quicksilver and geometric shapes
>>97052763>basically empty armors where the weapons are the demons piloting themCould have clockwork soldiers, those giant... Rhino things khorne guys ride are robots aren't they?
>>97052849Those are just straight up daemons.
>>97052277Thank you!
>>97052837No, they are objectively the concepts people are the least interested in, we can talk all we want about sex selling or slaanesh being cool because of sex, drug and rock n roll, but the fact is that slaanesh isn't actually like that and most people who get into a fantasy wargame like warhammer do so for what they find conventionally, and often childishly, cool; sexual elements outside of sexual contexts are a niche appeal.
>>97052704Aren't flamers of tzeentch already this?
>>97052873Damn I was under the assumption they were mechanical...But this does give me an idea for lore for my khorne guys...
>>97052903Well they are mechanical. They're just daemons that manifest as mechanical bulls; they don't seem to actually be built.
>>97052849They look robotic, but they're demons, just made of "metal" and gears instead of "flesh" and organs. And possibly manufactured in hell forges, but how babbies are born is noone's business in the realm of chaos.
>>97052825ideally yes. A;; the kits that have had bugs in them are fucking awful to hobby with in the range. Its also just fucking weird to try and make bees intimidating on something like drycha or the twistweald.
>>97052893No idea what you're on about. Sex drugs and rock n roll is a reddit meme of what Slaanesh is. That's not what Slaanesh is in AoS or 40k or even in the upcoming TOW release. Slaanesh is about excess of all kind not only sex and drugs.Slaanesh is about perfection, greed and the lust for life in all forms.
>>97052796I wonder if khorne and tzeentch will get similar shifts in tone. Slaanesh already went somewhere different with the arabian nights stuff. >>97052899I guess they sort of are, I thought they were more of a beast of nurgle type thing though.

>>97050581I'm pretty pissed about this as the later Warcry scenario books were ultra kino. The Wildercorps vs Gorgers was especially kino. Gur was such a rich setting, it really pisses me off it didn't really get any good books.
>>97050543Fuck no and I hope that rumor is false. I left 40k for AoS specifically because there's no fucking stupid auto take knight/giant model equivalents that everyone runs.
Still think its a bit odd that Cities of sigmar will be getting a Chimera mounted hero. Wondering if its actually something chaos correlated or just a gargoylian.
>>97056150Right? I thought it was a tzeentch mage at first for exactly that reason. They managed to make the manticore a noble beast though, so who knows.
>>97055028Bottom right is the most accurate to what iron in the ground would look like
So it looks like Dark Water is going to be $400 dollarydoos. That's a bloody outrage
>>97056223That's more than a days wage
>>97056223>I'm taking this all the way to the prime minister!
>>97056252It's just a day. Would be less than a day if I wasn't contributing extra to my Super. But that's more than I want to pay for it
>>97056223... what?!?!? Source??
>>97056281The leaked prices, £200 and our prices are pretty much bang on double that number
>>97056281To be clear dollarydoos is australian monopoly money, burgerbucks will be around the 250-260 mark probably. 160 gbp and around 205 yuros.
>>97056277What do you do
>>97056303I'm an area manager
>>97056339Manage this area*Shits on your door step and smokes crack behind your trash cans*
Really fucking wish I picked this up.
Are there any stories in the perspective of skaven in AoS?
It flashed across my thoughts: a box of 1e's BoK warbands. Reality, ever disappointing, reasserted itself quickly. But the memory lingers. I want this box. I want it to be real. I'd buy two.
>>97056418I believe there's a handful that casts them as protagonists.
>>97056420if you mean the underworlds stuff they're available in the underworlds bundle, there might someone selling that bit separately on ebay though.
>>97056405I don't understand why they got a second kit. It's very strange.
>>97056425I meant all three of them.
>>97056428It was a commemorative model/black novel limited time thing. >>97056433oh, yeah, Id want them all too.
>>97056433The rightmost warband is so rad. It perfectly shows how the design elements of bloodreavers can be elevated by simply posing them more dynamically.
>>97056433Odd how khorne has so many mortal warbands but is the only one of the big four without a daemon one
>>97056433How come that one guy has a flabby belly when he presumably has more or less the exact same lifestyle habits and dietary intake as all the other dudes in the picture who are all shredded?
>>97056487He ate a ogre that never really digested properly.
I thought this little travelogue was neat. The fluff in all the Khorne tomes is always a surprisingly nice read.
>>97055685They did it exclusively because China ruined Cursed City's release. GW makes books in the UK now
>>97054554That was a pretty good book! Glad we have Guy Haley writing for AoS at least.>>97045771 alright, doesn't sound like an instant pick-up. I've gotten burned too often with GW lately.
>>97055108I'm glad you've accepted your homosexuality
>>97050962Yeah it's TOW. Basically a prequel Burlok from before he blasted his hand off and grafted on a Not!Power Fist.
>>97051921Oof, sunk cost reading. I know that one. We had to read His Dark Materials at my school some... god, two decades back now.>Golden Compass? Good.>Subtle Knife? Kino.>Amber Spyglass? Absolute dogshit, had to finish it out of sheer spite. And that entire school year, reading those books and then writing essays about the fucking things, was utterly pointless.
>>97056418Novellas and Skaventide. Put Skaven into the black library website
pestigors look like they have options to pick from in the darkwater box
>>97056751Darkwater box has 4 bodies with optional heads and hands for total of 8 different guys
I started listening to this and I can't stop giggling at Ichorian's voice.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOt7rv5JZ-0
>>97056777>777Trips of the Grandfather. Also I'm 7 minutes in and the sorcerer doing the slurry baby talk is being addressed by a Lord of Blights talking with a thick Scottish accent, wtf. It sounds like they're getting spittle all over the mic.
Sylvaneth?
>>97056821Could be CoS
>>97056821>>97056823Could be a little gargoylian of course, but the structure it's sitting on does read more vine than anything CoS would bring.
>>97056821it reads sylvaneth to me
>>97056821oh right, boole had a rumor about a sylvaneth special character about summoning roots and sprouts of new oaks of ages
>>97056846Isn't the old one stil around, just kinda nurglish?
>>97056852They fixed that at the end of 2e. It's in good health now.
>>97056846
>>97056821I hope shes as cute as krethusa and has a thigh out
>>97056852It was dead in 1st, it got fixed before 3rd, and now it seems like it's metastasizing all over the realms.
>>97056860is this how living city dies?also>headgear like alarielle, carrying an amphora what are the chances that the next narrative is kicked off by however darkwater's quest resolves storywise?
>>97056883>is this how living city dies?I really hope not. I hope it just fucks up greywater if anything.>what are the chances that the next narrative is kicked off by however darkwater's quest resolves storywise? Its something I have on my mind too but considering how its the logical explanation for something James will avoid that.
>>97056894 >>97056894
>>97056891>I hope it just fucks up greywater if anything.May it be so, Inshalarielle!
>>97056919>>97056919>>97056919
fuck, I'll delete mine >>97056920
>>97054605Van Nguyen is on the upper end of the current BL roster. It starts slow, but you'll know when it finds its footing.
>>97054614So, one that isnt literal dogshit? That's not high praise.
>>97056223Yeah that’s like 1.5 days of work after taxes. Hard pass.
