Professions seem to be more fluff than actually a thing in the cyoa so you don't have to worry about that if you don't want to. It was in LH so it makes sense it would be here too to compliment your "adventurer" class. Since he's level 8 he has at least 7 new skills he's learned. I might count the IRL bonus as part of his new skills that the ai tailored based on his experience. Feel free to ask away if you're not sure about the strength of custom skills and items since that's only loosely outlined in the game.

Most immunities come from gear being absolutely stacked, most builds don't have more than 1-2 immunities, mainly crit immunity, and even the aura focused martial classes might only have about 4 immunities which is the higher end of what can be achieved without leaning too far into a GISH build and spreading yourself too thin. The smaller trees should be pretty big forests, composed of our pine-like uncommon wood (we really need a name for it) with some of them being covered in snow because the location is colder there. The small patch of palms in the corner is there to show a more beach-like biome in that direction.
