Functionally, earthbending is not that different from making tokens. Turning a land into a 1/1 is in fact strictly worse than generating a 1/1 token with haste that can tap separately. There are a lot of creatures that make tokens on ETB. That is fine.The issue is that it combines going tall and going wide with very little downside, and from far earlier on than should be possible. It's a little like a miniature Craterhoof finisher every single turn. If those lands were still unkillable but capped at like 2/2, I think it would be fine. Earthbend 3 or 4 however is just ridiculous.
