Chucky Blind Box series 2 was teased. One has to guess the images there are what we'll see made.
Poster Series Predator 2
Pretty Lady retro cloth Leatherface was announced. Him and Chop Top are currently on the NECA store for preorder.
NES Colors Jason is making a return on the updated body and a couple updated paint apps.
Today's reveal...I Know What You Did Last Summer!...the new one? Old? I don't know.
>>11611677Huh. That's an interesting one. Very Movie Maniacs pull... Ultimate or Retro cloth? I could see this going either way.
>>11611675My OG version of this surprisingly still plays the song when you open the box.
any other classic monsters coming up?
>>11611677>>11611856That’s the Friday the 13th Accessory pack dock and the hook or whatever looks pretty big. I’m guessing Retro Cloth. Which honestly I think would fit the character better anyways since it’s really just a baggy trench coat.
>>11611677I wonder how they'll do the face for this figure. It's normally lit so that you can at most see a faint nose. Maybe they'll just paint it black.
>>11611675Scooby doo villain ahh color
>>11611675it wouldn't be accurate but I kinda wish they'd give him a pixel deco like their NES predator or batman
>>11611667Finally another Tiffany figure. I would love for them to redo the Seed box set from 20 years ago, but with modern articulation
>>11612971I know it'll never happen, but I'd love to see NECA try their hand at Power Rangers. Specifically the villains and monsters. The Rangers have enough figures, let's give their enemies some love for a change.
>>11613004I would actually love if that happened. But even if it did happen, I've got a feeling it would be dead after a few waves. The lack of repaint and reuse potential would make it cost prohibitive, and MMPR/SS fans are kind of retarded and would prefer to constantly rebuy variations of rainbow pyjama ninjas instead of cool fucking monsters.
>>11612976Is there some legal/licensing issue with Seed? I feel like there's something going on there.I think there was a fetus/baby monster that was supposed to come with the Bride set that had to be axed way back when, too.
>>11613058I'm pretty sure the problem is that companies are constantly producing the same variations of rangers, followed by the core monsters that everyone has already done and so the line ends up not lasting long enough to get to the cool monsters that haven't been done yet.One thing I appreciated about Super 7's run was they tried to do the Zords in the same size as the monster figures for kaiju battle scenes. I'd like to see another company take that approach and do Zords, Megazords, and monsters of the week and maybe even completely ignore the rangers.
>>11612971Why three stooges
>>11613216Because they're true classic comedy. And they all have distinct looks.
>>11611669Jesus Christ we are never getting Wolf.
>>11612971>a completed Friday the 13th lineAlas, I fear we'll never see part 8 unless they reuse the design without the Friday name, but I just do not like the look they designed for the new branding so I don't trust them not to fuck it.
>>11611669>doctor my back hurts. Here I brought this to show you exactly where I’m feeling it
>>11613707Ultimate 3 Stooges when?
>>11612971Ultimate Ernest P. Worrell with Scared Stupid accessoriesTales from the Crypt- Crypt KeeperThe Burning CropsyManiac CopMotel Hell farmer VincentThe Good the bad and the Ugly main castGeorge A Romero Zombie's from first three films
>>11613934If they could give us an Ernest and Trantor I would be over the fucking moon. The other trolls would be awesome, but just those two would be a great addition to the shelf.
It’s still interesting to me how badly NECA fucked up their Back to the Future line
>>11614280Curious as to what you feel they fucked up, apart from not getting any Part 3 figures released. I'm not surprised it's dead. The character designs aren't very toyetic.
>>11614280Don't see how they fucked anything up. We got more figures out of BTTF than it really can handle. It was a solid line.
>>11614326>It was a solid line.I don't think a toyline for a trilogy that completely ignored the third movie can be considered "solid."
>>11614338Wel you'd be wrong then
I'd like a part 3 Doc with that cool rifle. That's pretty damn toyetic imo.
>>11614350No, I'd be right. If it was solid it would have gotten at least the two mains and Buford Tannen from the third movie. Hell, they could have done a few designs for Marty with his costume changes. But it flopped and it was cancelled. Solid toylines don't get cancelled prematurely.>>11614354That, final duel Marty and Buford would have been enough to call it complete.
>>11612971Trailer Park Boys. Imagine the accessories.
>>11614366It was still a solid toyline. We got the most iconic looks from those movies as figures. You and he are both wrong.
>>11613004>>11613058I always thought it'd be great to see them do the 1995 movie rangers. It's a tight enough cast that they could get most done.I could see them doing the first two or three seasons of the TV show, but at $35 per figure it would be unlikely a lot of PR fans would splurge for monsters. That said a regular issue with monster releases in PR licenses is scale just not working. Hasbro stupidly chose to make them larger, and while Super 7 made theirs in scale with their main PR line, a lot of people would've preferred they scaled even to the oversized Hasbro releases to make them at least passable with their Lightning collection rangers.
>>11613004>>11614503I don't understand why power babies is still a thing it should stay in the 90s
>>11614509Why is Transformers still a thing? Why is Ninja Turtles still a thing? Why is GI Joe, He-Man, Voltron...
>>11614366Considering most people really only like the first two movies, missing the third is not a big deal. It'd be nice, sure, but hardly the powerhouse that the first two movies were. 100% a solid toy line with what we got.
>>11613004they wouldnt scale with lightening collection and be 7 inches instead of the appropriate 6 inch 1/12 scale
>>11614615I only really like the first and the third. The second is ruined by the scenes where Michael J Fox plays all of his kids. Honestly, most of the 2015 shit was cringe, and that's not just my old man mindset. I didn't like it as much as a kid either. It's only memorable because of the hover skateboard. I do like the final act though. Also it's not like it's universally acclaimed to be better than the third one. Higher score on IMDB but lower on Rotten Tomatoes. Metacritic score is 57 vs 55. Barely a difference.
>>11614703I just like the train time machine. And ZZ Top.
The Howling werewolf is beautiful but there's one thing that takes away from the fun. I hate stands and want my figs to be able to stand up by themselves. The Syndicate version seems to have better feet for this, though the NECA feet look better visually.Instead of the stand you get, I wish digitigrade figures came with clear slippers where it attaches to the foot and extends out behind it to give it stability. Or even like attached to the leg like glass stripper heels. It'd make it way more fun to pose.
>>11613150>I think there was a fetus/baby monster that was supposed to come with the Bride set that had to be axed way back when, too.I seem to recall Randy saying that retailers asked for it to be removed. Why? I’m not sure.
>>11612971Dead by Daylight
>>11614867Well they do have that bobblehead figurine coming. So they have some part of the license...guess we'll see if there's more to it.
>>11614703I hated BttFIII as a kid. I found westerns boring, and I hated that a series about time travel--where you had literally infinite possibilities--had to have an installment about the boring old wild west.I've ended up liking it a lot more as an adult, but I still think it is my least favorite of the trilogy. Your grievances with MJF playing all of his kids are kind of weird, since one of the big jokes with the series is that all of the relatives are just played by the one actor. The 2015 stuff was cool to me, because I love old predictions for how they thought the future would look and how tech would evolve. That being said, I still think the train sequence of them trying to push the DeLorean to 88MPH is the best sequence across all three movies.
>>11614971For me the most hilarious prediction was that in a world with video calls that homes would have multiple fax. machines.
>>11614971>I found westerns boringNot me. I loved The Lone Ranger and had already seen most of Clint Eastwood's westerns by the time it came out. Huge part of my childhood. I also had a heap of Cowboys and Indians army men that I probably played with more than my actual army men.>since one of the big jokes with the series is that all of the relatives are just played by the one actor. That was only a joke started by that scene in 2. Really, I misspoke. I didn't mind Fox playing Marty Jr, and it is necessary for the plot point where Marty is mistaken for him. Him playing his daughter was a joke that never quite landed, and the family dinner scene sticks in my memory for that reason. I also remember promotional shit back then hyping up that scene, and it definitely didn't live up to the hype. Oddly, I didn't mind Fox and Thompson as Seamus and Maggie. It makes the near incest in the first movie even funnier. Buford was perfect, and probably the only one of them that didn't take me out of the movie.>I still think the train sequence of them trying to push the DeLorean to 88MPH is the best sequence across all three movies.I think that's why I love it so much. Peak cinema right there.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space. I always wanted them from NECA. But now I have all 6 from Trick or Treat Studios, and I doubt either would have done more than 6 figures. At $40 each, IF NECA were to do them in the future, I don't think I'd buy them again. I think I'm just good now. GHOULIES: C'mon man, bring it! You did Puppet Master already. Fuck Syndicate Toys for teasing then never releasing.
>>11612971Monster Squad would be nice. I want that gill man at least, beautiful design.
>>11615403>Monster SquadUnfathomably based
>>11615129I could see them being hesitant about it, it's niche to do so many figures for one film. Ghoulies are at least smaller.A Prowler figure would be cool, people would buy it just for the general soldier look.
>>11615129>You did Puppet Master alreadyThey could wrap up Demonic Toys in like two multi-packs and be done with it.>Jack Attack>Baby Oopsie Daisy>Grizzly Teddy>Mr. Static
Well heck, apparently Predator Badlands is really good. Curious what all we'll get out of it.
>>11616316>Demonic ToysWould buy, along with more Puppet Master puppets, but honestly NEED Ghoulies.
>>11616476Ghoulies would be fucking tight
Apparently people aren’t happy about the new Wednesday figures
>>11616609Apparently you think people care about a bunch of whiny Facebook posts.
>>11616610Why are they laughing? What’s so funny about the figures according to die hard Neca fans?
>>11616613Fuck off already. You really are the lowest form of scum posting this pointless bullshit.
>>11616615Are you trolling or something? I’m allowed to ask why the fans feel this way about the figures.
>>11616613Maybe they couldn't acquire Jenna's likeness so they made her ugly out of spite?
>>11616618Oh boy, the innocent act, haven't seen you use that before! You aren't clever in the least.>>11616623They have her likeness, that's her likeness.
>>11616609everyone will buy it for snood anyway
>>11616609>>11616613I mean, if you're actually in to this shit, you deserve what you get.
>>11616613looks like they got mixed up and gave her Uncle Fester's headsculpt
>>11617011Looks like you need your eyes checked
Pretty big restock at my Target. Saw the Santa Art toony, regular Art and the 2012 Turtle figures.
>>11617226So Art isn't only at Wal-Mart? That's a relief.
>>11613872Would be cool if they were in Black n White
>>11617339No, only the bloody version is exclusive.
>>11617226It's cool that you can walk into a walmart and get some of the 2012 turtles before people who pre-ordered directly from Neca get theirs in the mail.
>>11617854That's a Target. Also it is pretty cool because those shipments have already gotten to people throughout October, so your post makes no sense. Of course, you'll also pretend this never happens with any online order. Like how I got the new McFarlane Scarecrow at Walmart before my online order shipped. It's not a big deal.
New shot of the Badlands Pred figure.
My Ben Cooper KISS shipped, wooo.
>>11618109I thought that was a gimp mask at first
>>11616623I can bust on NECA all day and night about terrible website issues, or order issues, missing limbs, broken joints, errant paint, and being complete scumbags to loyal customers... but like... that's Jenna's head, pretty flat-out. Is there any particular feature in the sculpt that looks the most "off" to you?
>>11618109Coming Q4 2026 most likely.
>>11618546Nope, first of the year at the latest. That's a factory sample.
Kind of a weird ask but is it possible to pose the Scorched Xeno standing flat-footed instead of on its toes? And if so, could someone take photos of how it would look doing so?
I wonder if they’ll go back and resculpt the heads for the Wednesday figures, given the backlash Neca has received over them. They should’ve done what they did with the Godzilla 1985 figure and redo the heads after the fans overwhelmingly asked.
>>11618545It's definitely her eyes. They look like they're about to pop out of her skull.
>>11618787Looks like you need your eyes checked
>>11618819Mine are just fine, you should worry about yourself.
Well now i'm hoping NECA makes the monster from Del Toro's Frankenstein because that was really good. Easily one of his best films.
>>11618942I've been hearing it's really good. And they do have a working relationship with Del Toro, so maybe so. That'd be cool.
>>11618760Ohhh, so you don't know what you're talking about at all. Okay then. You can be ignored now.
>>11617897>Like how I got the new McFarlane Scarecrow at Walmart before my online order shipped.Comparing NECA to a company as notoriously shit as McFarlane is not the flex you think it is.
>>11619271Name a company, it's happened with them all. Hasbro, Mattel, Jada, etc. You can be a smartass all you want, the truth is it's common as can be. Companies don't control shipping times.
>>11618969>And they do have a working relationship with Del ToroYep that's exactly what I was thinking. You could put it with other Del Toro figures or you could easily work it in other monster displays. Also, still wishing NECA would make one of 2024 Count Orlok.
>>11618150Mine did too. I really need to start thinking about what to do with all these waves. I have the TMNT ones on order too, wonder if those will ship before the end of the year.
>another company just revealed their Jason Goes To Hell 1/10 figureN-Necabros… did we lose the license?
>>11618549Off, that's bad. Needs more to cook.
>>11618109>Predlet
>>11619577Is that actually from a real company? It looks like a pretty good fanmade figure. For an actual official action figure that looks like shit.
>>11619577Yeah, we lost the license, which is why they're making new Jason figures, and starting to re-release and update previous Jason figures. All because you found some junk ass unheard of company making Friday the 13th merch too. Surely that's what it means.
>>116195771/10? I'd give it a 2.5.
does neca still have a predator toy liscense? theres still a predator up for preorder on bbts but nothing else.
>>11619692Yeah they still have the license, see >>11611669They are planning what we are guessing is a Movie Poster Series release of the City Hunter Pred which is what that pic is teasing, and the dumb piece of shit from the new movie was shown at NYCC, has a promo photo that can be seen here >>11618109 and should be clogging the shelves soon.>>11619741Of course he's evading.
>>11619692Yes, they literally just revealed the new Predator from the new movie.
>>11619583By all means, elaborate. Or are you just shitposting? (Spoilers, we know you're shitposting)
Am I crazy or did they show off an Ultimate Grabber for Black Phonr at one of the cons?
>>11619986They did.
>>11619999its a fine custom. what is wrong with you?
>>11620035No it's not, and stop trying to pass it off as real.
>>11619995That is neat, custom or otherwise.>>11619999I definitely remember the TTs for him and the Happy Death Day killer. Maybe they'll branch out into Ultimates eventually too.
>>11620050i'm not passing it off as real. what do you think is so bad about it? its a good custom and probably close to what neca would actually do. also kill yourself, ban evader.
>>11620096>i'm not passing it off as real.>photoshopped a NECA logo on it>told someone it was coming out>i'm not passing it off as realjfc why are the trolls on this board so dumb?
>>11620113>jfc why are the trolls on this board so dumb?ask yourself this, dumbass. i'm not the one who posted it. there you go thinking everyone is the same person again. i just think it's a fine custom and all i've had to say about it is why you think it's bad. strangely enough, you haven't actually addressed that at all. kill yourself dude.
>>11620255is this a paint master? it looks great, their sculptors have been killing it on this line
>>11620283>Will post evidence after this post. You won't post anything because it's not a figure. You're such a waste of space.
>>11620290He's supposed to. He's a small character.
>>11620255Nice job posting the Palisades Elmo that got cancelled, you abysmal liar.https://www.instagram.com/p/DJ7aHwaRiNZ/
>>11620308It literally is not.
>>11620310That's great man, I'm sorry you wasted your time lying again.
>>11620316My dude, nta, but everyone can see you got found out. Trying to keep your lie going is making you look even worse.
>>11620318And nobody is buying Super7. So yeah, not popular.
>>11620323It's the exact same image.
>>11620327You're sure on a roll of being wrong tonight.
>>11620329No they are not.
>>11620329What are you talking about? It's the same image.
>>11620338You are embarrassing yourself. Are you now going to tell everyone you don't know how to scroll through images on instagram? My dude, you are looking worse and worse every time you post.
>>11620341Nope. That is not the same thing as you taking the image from instagram and trying to pass it off as another company's figure, and then trying to claim it's not the same, when it's literally the exact same image.
>>11619766>>11619814do they have a wider license? the kenner inspired figures were my favorite, but its like we're down to a drip feed of only movie predators.
>>11611664Test
>>11620342
>>11620350>but its like we're down to a drip feed of only movie predators. That would be Disney's doing. They want the new movies to have priority, so that's why things got slowed down. The Samurai Predator from the game just came out though, so they're still managing to do stuff. The license holder's demands take precedent though.
>>11620367i haven't finished it, only about 5 episodes in.I very much dislike it. It's incredibly slow burn, characters are stupid beyond what the narrative calls for, and the one xenomorph we saw can murder rip chainsaw through a room in less than seconds, but can just be tazed and subdued by a fat black guy.
>>11620367>>11620374>>11620375It gets really really bad by the end, and I say this as someone who was actually very forgiving of it at the start.
>>11620383That whole segment is honestly the best part but yeah, it's all downhill from there.
>>11620318Along with Super7, also Lego, Blokees, Nendoroid, Carbotix, Medicom, and Mighty Jaxx XXray Elmo are just some of the Elmo figures that have been recently made that aren't aimed at preschoolers, which proves his popularity among adults.
>>11620395The proof is nobody asking for Elmo.
>>11620412Yes, because you're a contrarian.
>>11620419ntsa, but 7 references to elmo in just as many months is hardly 'plenty of people'
>>11620419Oh wow, a bunch of nobodies who aren't even buying these figures claim they want Elmo? well let's just ruin the line then! Good thing you're not in charge.
>>11620421It more than "nobody."
>>11620424That's nice dear. Sorry you failed at passing off a Palisades' prototype as a real toy.
>>11620419Wow it's fucking nothing.
>>11620430Why don't you make up another story about a discord giving you false information and you believing it blindly.
>>11620440They sure do, which is why they aren't doing Elmo.
been gone for 6 years and neca threads get derailed like this still, eh?that sucks.
>>11620446He literally killed the whole company, and the line before it could start.
>>11620448Because of Elmo.
>>11620454Exactly, this is why you don't make Elmo.
Holy shit, look at how mad he is getting because people want NECA to make Elmo.>>11620447Did he travel through time and get clearanced like the majority of Gargoyles figures?
Fuck this retarded shit. Lets right this ship. What yall think of the samurai predator? I love the top knot dreadlocks. Wish he had a scabbard for the katana and it could slot into the belt. Probably can still wedge it in there but still.
>>11620472All the pics I've seen of the figure look pretty great. I'm hoping Target gets their stock in soon. I like the colors, reminds me of Big Red.
>>11620473>if you didn't clarify it was a Pred fig, I'd have no idea it was one.not necessarily a bad thing, i guess we are just used to predators having much more skin on display and more smooth helmets with less detail.
>>11620478we had the hounds from Predators, didn't we?I think we're lucky to be getting any predators at all at this point. They aren't even giving the badlands protagonist any critters to fight.
>>11620472>What yall think of the samurai predator?Looks like something a 12 year old would design. What is it from again?
>>11620492Hunting Grounds, that recent asymmetric pvp video game.shit game, fun designs. Also has one of the few official depictions of lady predators.
>>11620472There's something about the mask that makes it look not predator-y enough. The maskless version looks better I think.
I can only afford so many figures but this one was a good choice. Great all round. I'd maybe subtract points for ankle flexibility, could use a more grabby hand, and I'd prefer one alt head with a movable jaw rather than 3 heads. But otherwise perfect.
>>11620498Coincidentally enough, I actually like the first and third ones most here. Like, the really embellished armor and detail elements look great on the second and fourth ones, but they barely read as Predators to me.Anyway, I hope at least someone makes a fem Pred, I'd buy one from either NECA or Hot Toys.
>>11611664No Tarman and/or Trash for this years 40th anniversary of Return of the Living Dead....FUCK NECA!!!FACT!!!
>>11620550They got them in multiple times. And so did online stores, but you still just want to cry about it.
>>11620535One of the heads does have a movable jaw.
>>11620498I dig that Egyptian one. I'd get that and the Samurai one.
>>11620656Yeah, I've got no idea what that anon is talking about. We all know that Walmart is a well oiled machine and that distribution is equal across all stores, and employees always restock shelves with news products in a timely manner.
>>11620681Then buy them online you whiny pussy. They aren't hard to get, never were.
>>11616613Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
>>11620658What the hell I totally missed that, it was all the way open so I assumed that was it. Thanks!
>>11620472>no DLC Dutch figure
>>11620926I missed it too. It's very well hidden.
>>11621019If we are talking humans from the franchise, it's still a crime that they never finished Dutch's team from the first movie. All we got was Hawkins. No Billy, no Mac, not even Dillon. The biggest crime is no Blaine figue. He was my favorite character, and a sexual Tyrannosaurus like him deserves a figure.NECA.Predator.Blaine.
>>11620472Honestly I wish they had started off with the default classes before going into the cosplay Predators.
>>11621155I think that's why they jumped to the more interesting designs. We have so many preds like that general one already.
>>11621185Yes but don't have THAT ONE.
>>11621072They only made hawkins because his actor made that one shit predator movie
>>11620535Gill man looking sexy with those shades on
I know someone posted maybe 3/4 months ago that they bought this and the suit texture or plastic felt weird to them but I don't otherwise remember anything else. I had hoped to look at this in person at a Target but finally gave up, only to learn a small pop culture type store in the nose bleed corners of my county, where all the hipsters drinking watered down beer and bad coffee hang-out, has them and if they haven't sold out by today, I doubt they will sell out by next week when I get there in person. I also noticed I could order at retail from BBTS and I actually have a pile of loot going that needs to ship by the end of the month. Is this worth the $45 or so it's retailing for? I can easily afford it and I'm not going to pose the hell out of him, but I think I might enjoy just watching his HBO documentary after a nice dinner, which would cost me less unless I ordered wine. It's hard to parse your threads. Half of you seem to really hate buying NECA anything and the other half seem to buy NECA because it's the only way you can get figures of certain characters. And I usually stick to just one franchise but I had a Pee Wee as a kid and it got stolen, so this would be something that sits by itself on my work desk and not displayed with anything else. But that also means I have to look at it every single day I check my email or something. So any honest feedback would be appreciated.
>>11622806You know he's in stock on Target right? Save you some money that way. https://www.target.com/p/neca-pee-wee-herman-7-34-scale-action-figure/-/A-93895551?sid=&TCID=PDS-22806998632&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22807002868&gbraid=0AAAAAD-5dfYlpinjb4z7x9aukEX3YAPNO&gclid=CjwKCAiA_dDIBhB6EiwAvzc1cNvwn0x5cfzrNumU-sdf_j331OgmPyuy0mV55Qui0DADiEHHsPn-ARoCK3kQAvD_BwEAnyway, yes, the figure is very good. And there's the promise of other Playhouse characters coming. It's a little bare bones on accessories, but...it is Pee Wee. Inlike mine a lot.
>>11622806Don't own it, but I own stuff from a range of companies and NECA makes great figures. Particularly nice paint details, reasonable articulation, good accessories. If you care a lot about scaling then watch some reviews as they're 1:10-ish. Since the figure is already out I'd always recommend watching youtube reviews because you get to notice the small details, how matte the finish looks in person, likeness etc. People have said mixed things about the likeness of Peewee, I think they've done better but it's definitely him.
>>11622839>he's in stock on TargetAh jeez, thanks. Yeah, that does save me about $10 bucks. It's fucking annoying that you need to direct URL to Target because it doesn't even fucking populate using their app.>>11622840Thanks. I bought one NECA for the buck and it was limited articulation, but I knew that, and it was mostly the face I wanted, and everything else about it was great. It was a kitbash/custom I made that I ended up selling a few years back and I don't even have photos. And yeah, I should look at the videos but Target has never failed me on a return item, even if they have to give me merch credit, I don't really care. I do enough shopping there for crap like detergent, it's not like the money would ever be wasted.THANKS!
>>11622849you should be safe then, its a rad figure. the likeness is pretty good better in person. the skin texture is kinda offputting but looks better on a shelf than up close, and the eyeballs/pupil paint can be offset and looks bad if so. but if you get one with good paint its great. the pterri included is awesome and way better than the stupid wind-up in the og matchbox line, i display him with them
>>11622982nta but there's a lot of accessories I wish I could get by themselves, and that's one of them
>>11622982>>11622840>watching youtube reviewsdhunter, of all people, reviewed him and since I am familiar with him from McFarlane reviews, I checked it out first. He's talking, in that monotrone, autist tone he has:>The likeness is soft ... looks like ... a figure based off ... a comic.>too cartoony, not realistic enough. >And here's his second head. This one, he's smiling ear to ear. This is probably what he looked like when he was masturbating in that movie theater.
>>11623087I don't think he even knows who Pee Wee is.
OK, when's Audrey 2?
>>11623211cont.My NECA wishlist>More Sesame>More Godzilla>Three Stooges>Ghoulies>Monster SquadAnd Audrey 2.
>>11621629lmao this is such an insane way to refer to shane black as if he isnt responsible for so many sick movies
>>11623255Ghoulies would be fun, but I'd love it if they did Critters, too. Just a regular crite would be a fun figure. Light up eyes, whatever.
What are the chances we get a PO for those Krampus toys this year? I really want them. Also didn't they tease that they were doing his elves as well?>>11611675Glad to finally get him.
>>11611865The Universal tap is kinda running dry unless they start doing sequel stuff like Dracula's Daughter, Igor, Revenge of the Creature and Walks Among Us Gillman, etc.I'd give a arm and a leg to see them expand into 50s sci-fi monsters, Ro-Man is a pipe dream.
>>11615129How do the ToT Klowns look next to NECAs horror stuff? I know they're different scales but I'm wondering if I can fudge it, I only really want Jumbo.
>>11623087God I hear it in his voice
Too big and too expensive...
>>11623698That's the standard price for a NECA figure at BBTS. Consider the slight markup like a fast pass that lets you avoid dealing with the NECA store.
>>11623701These guys are 7-inch right? They would be bigger than all other figures.
>>11623710I've seen that they are at least to scale with Shredder. Not sure of their exact size. Pixel Dan did a review and he normally does size comparisons.
>>11623698Then wait and buy it at Target. Also too big? They're not.https://www.target.com/p/neca-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-2012-cartoon-7-34-scale-action-figure-ultimate-raphael/-/A-94885866
>>11623734They can if you want.
Ulrimate Old Lady Leatherface!
>>11623944*Retro cloth, excuse me.
>>11623690yep, that droneit will definitely haunt you>>11623092he's got a discord or something and someone gifted him with it.apparently he does own quite a bit of NECA, he scaled it with about 10 other random NECA figures, including some of the Universal Monsters, the Back to the Future and others.
>>11623742that's not how scale works
>>11623734I found this line recently by "Loyal Subjects." Decent figures at a good size and a good price. I don't have a specific scale but GIANT TEENAGERS at a high price is just too silly.Hundred other things to get so gonna pass no matter how much I liked the 2012 series.
>>11624236Hey wait a minute...Only two of them are wearing red!
>>11624239Sorry, that just means what battleship they belong to!
>>11624236Crap figures at terrible prices. Don't come in here peddling such garbage.
>>11623734Actually the 2012 turtles scale pretty nicely with Legends. They aren't "too big" and I'm not sure where that's coming from.
>>11624245Dude, I actually like all kinds of toys and do not have to feel snobbish
>>11624272Nothing snobbish about it, but they are right, BST sucks. Always has. And those IDW figures were trash. I got the Alopex at Ross and it suuuucks.
>>11624272>do not have to feel snobbishAccording to your meme, apparently you are snobbish towards anything bigger than 1:12. Don't stress, nearly everyone in this thread is snobbish about the garbage they collect. This is the TMNT thread, and most of the companies making their toys are shit in one way or another.Really though, BST AXN isn't the greatest, but considering you can get them for nearly 1/4 the price of a Neca and 1/5 the price of a Super7, they are good for what they are. QC can be hit or miss, but the worst thing about them are their ugly joint cuts. Get what you can, because the line is dead. Their Krang is awesome, and one of the best figures in the line despite a really weird design decision where he removable from the android, but he's still holding the control sticks in his tentacles.
NECA Jackass members when?
>>11624322Oh, this is the NECA thread, not the TMNT thread. Disregard. I'd delete the poodt, but apparently 4chan is being shit and giving me the error.
>>11624322>This is the TMNT threadYou should open your eyes a bit wider
>>11624329I keep both threads open in the same tab group. Really, most of the time the TMNT thread is almost indistinguishable from this one due to the amount of publicity the OP gives Neca in it.
>>11624351NECA makes 90% of all current TMNT, why wouldn't it get "publicity?"
>>11624263Ones 1/10 and one is 1/12....
>>11624385>NECA makes 90% of all current TMNTNo they don't.
>>11624408They very much do.
>>11624415Post the numbers to prove it then. Or you can stop making blatantly false claims. It's your choice.
>>11624432Last Ronin, Fred Wolf 80s, Archie Adventures, Movie 1, Movie 2, Movie 3, What Ifs, 18" scale movie, 18" scale toon, 2012 TMNT, etc.NECA makes more TMNT than any other company.
>>11624433>>11624433>Movie 1, Movie 2, Movie 3They have had how many releases in those lines this year?Post numbers for figures NECA have released this year vs every other company combined. It's not 90%, no matter how you try to spin it.
>>11624442Well hey, you've come right out and admitted you're just trolling at this point, so tough tits man. NECA does 90% of all TMNT, so it gets talked about the most.
>>11624433PRETTY sure Playmates makes more TMNT related stuff than NECA....
>>11624548Not really, no. They're struggling to get anything out there.
>>11624564They've done 99.9 percent of the TMNT merch, dude.
>>11624470>>11624564niche collector figures do not outnumber fucking playmates sold in virtually every toy aisle you fucking weird freak
>>11623698>>11623725>Then wait and buy it at Target. And also wait for one of the Target sales, like the $10 over $10 or $5 over $25 they had of late, or simply the $5 off over $15; anyone of those would have save you and spared you the 'surcharge.'
>>11624804It absolutely outnumbers anything Playmates has done. NECA's covering a huge swath of TMNT history, Playmates is not.
>>11623944And regular Leatherface. Quite a nice collection now.
>>11625149they made the cook and grandpa? might pick up the whole family
>>11624921Yeah I loved collecting NECA TMNT back in 1990.
>>11625457NECA's still done more for TMNT than Playmates ever did.
>>11624921>>11625474objectively false you fucking weirdo. what is wrong with you?
>>11625149>>11623944>retroclothGreat, more figures that nobody will buy, just like the widely-mocked Wednesday ones
>>11625533It's 100% true. You're such a lazy shitposter.>>11625602Nobody will buy? Except everyone that's been buying them. Try harder, you're a really piss poor troll.
>>11625612prove it you lazy shitposter. you won't!
>>11625474Lol. I love the NECA TMNT figures I own, but that is objectively untrue. If NECA had sold even half of the amount of TMNT figures in the last 6 years that Playmates has, they'd have a bigger share of the toy market than the 2% they currently have. If you want to ignore that Playmates helped make TMNT a household name in the 80s, go for it, but don't expect anybody else to believe your delusions.
>>11624325I want NECA Mr.Boogie
>>11625753The only reason TMNT merch got the boost it did is because of NECA doing the toon figures. And now they're doing nearly every facet of TMNT. Playmates sat on the license doing absolutely nothing until they got jealous of NECA doing the original Mirage Turtles. And then they STILL couldn't get their asses in gear to do anything about it. And now NECA's done loops around them five times over. You're a retard if you don't see that.
>>11625865NECA's revenue is estimated to be in the $10-$25 million range each year. That is for every toyline they make, not just TMNT. Playmates sold over $1 billion worth of TMNT figures in the 4 years to the end of 1991.https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1991-12-23-fi-809-story.htmlAnd they were selling $4 figures, not $35 dollar figures. And yes Playmates were slacking when NECA started the toon line, but that doesn't erase the previous 30 years. Playmates helped make TMNT a household name. NECA is sold in a hidden section of Target and 9/10 people will go through their lives not knowing the company or the toys they make even exist, but they will sure as fuck know that the TMNT line from the 80s existed.I love the NECA line, and yeah they have made some deep cuts, but it's had the cultural impact of a fart in the wind. And after 17 years with the license, NECA are almost at the 400 figures Playmates put out in their first 10 years. Hardly doing loops around them 5 times over by any metric.
>>11625982>after 17 years with the license, NECA are almost at the 400 figures Playmates put out in their first 10 yearsthanks for bringing actual numbers to the conversation, nice to see some context instead of outrageous claims
Playmates did:>Original TMNT>Mirage repaints>a SHIT TON of variants>Movie 1, 2, and 3 turtle lines>Some of the toon-turtles>Next Mutation>2003>2007>2012>Rise>Seth Rogen turtles>Michael Bay turtlesFrom my understanding, NECA can't even touch the Next Mutation characters due to Saban/Hasbro?
>>11626052Oh shut the fuck up.
>>11625982>but it's had the cultural impact of a fart in the wind.Bullshit! They're what brought TMNT back from nothing! They're why TMNT as a license blew up and became the powerhouse it is, because they started giving people exactly what they wanted. You are full of shit.NECA has looped Playmates ten times over by actually showing they care about the license.
>>11626096Yeah, and NECA did more than that and actually gave people what they've been asking for. Nobody gives a shit about what Playmates is doing now. The retro line is disappointment after disappointment.
>>11625982>NECA is sold in a hidden section of Target and 9/10 people will go through their lives not knowing the company or the toys they make even existWhich isn't true at all. Everyone knows about the NECA toon line, and everyone can buy Mirage, video game, movie, etc anywhere they want. You're a shitposter.
>>11626150NECA did>Fred Wolf>Mirage>First three movies>Archie>SNES>SOME IDW>Just starting 2003That's not as much as the Playmates line.
>>11626096Playmates also did the Tokusatsu Turtles from that anime.
>>11626158It's more than what Playmates did. And it's what people had been asking for for 30+ years.
>>11626162Noooo... Playmates has literally more under their belt. You suck at numbers.
>>11626175And NECA has treated the license better and produced more and better product. They saved TMNT.
>>11626192>gets proven wrong>changes argument to 'they produced a better project'.Typical.
>>11626233Nobody got proven wrong except you. NECA has done more with TMNT than Playmates.
>>11626337You know, except for you being fucking wrong. This is like saying 'THE WIIU DID MORE FOR NINTENDO THAN THE SNES'. It's utterly retarded.
>>11626347Except you're the wrong asshole. Playmates has only fucked TMNT up over and over. NECA did it right and Playmates has turned intona jealous pussy. You're a fucking retard.
>intonaPlaymates has been doing Ninja Turtles things since the early 90sNeca got the license in mid 2010s.Meaning. Playmates has. Done more. For TMNT than. Neca. Now go ahead and swap it back to 'quality products', even though if you're the same guy I'm thinking you are, you shit on NECA every chance you get.
>>11626408Playmates hasn't been doing shit with Turtles, and they weren't until NECA decided to do their Mirage figures. And then everyone realized what we were missing out on. And it happened again when NECA did the toon figures. Playmates and TMNT has never been more irrelevant.
>>11626408>Neca got the license in mid 2010s.2008, you're dumb.
>>11626447Oh. So they still did less items than Playmates. Playmates where making figures of that weird ass 2007 movie back then. With the weird looking Karai.
>>11626448No, they did more than Playmates.
>>11626490Playmates did>original Playmates line>Toon Turtles>Universal Monsters>The shit ton of variants>Godzilla x Turtles>The Secret of the Ooze line>The 3rd movie line>The mech-anime tokusatsu ones>Next Mutation>2007>Michael Bay Turtles>2003 4kids Turtles>The WWE Turtles>The Power Ranger turtles>2012 Nick Turtles>Rise of the TMNT>The Seth Rogen turtles>Are gonna do the toys for the sequel Seth Rogen turtlesNECA did>Toons>Mirage>IDW>Archie>Movie 1>Movie 2>Movie 3>Some recolors and Armagon>Just starting to do 2003And because NECA can't touch ANY of the Next Mutations characters due to the Jewery of Saban, Playmates will always have one up on NECA.
can neca still make godzilla figures? They hadn't made anything since shin but id love to see 20-30$ goji figures on shelves again.
>>11626495They COULD, if they wanted to pay to license out the monsters. Toho, for some fucking reason, made it so you don't just buy the license to use Godzilla and you instantly get everyone else. Each of the monsters and characters from the Godzilla franchise have their own copyright, their own license and their own price. There's no:>Pay for Godzilla, get Mothra, Rodan, MechaGIt's>Pay for Godzilla, pay for Mothra separetly. ect. It's why Playmates got in trouble, they put out '56 Rodan and Gorosaurus and Baragon, and Toho smacked them because they didn't pay to use those characters. The creatures from the Monsterverse work differently. You could get Godzilla's license from them and get like, Scylla, Tiamat, ect.
>>11626494Yeah, NECA's done more with TMNT than Playmates ever did. And NECA actually cares about doing things with the license. Suck it.
>>11626498I wonder if the 98/zilla license is for cheap. I bet they could make a very decent figure of the big gal.
>>11626528Agree to disagree. I just know neither are doing the Image Comic turtles. I want my Shark Shredder for fuck sakes.
>>11626598OR the Mexican characters from TORTUGAS.
>>11626494Under Playmates, you forgot Classic Collection, Elite Series, and Remastered.
Armaggon is the best.
>>11626686
>>11626598I 100% see them doing Shark Shredder. It's a cool design that'd make a neat figure.
>>11625612>Except everyone that's been buying them. The reception for those figures is overwhelmingly negative, they will not sell well. I’m sorry you have to face that reality that NECA dropped the ball here
crazy how playmates had the best-selling action figure line of 2023 and not necahttps://www.circana.com/post/circana-announces-its-annual-global-toy-industry-performance-award-winners
>>11627336I'm sorry you're such a trolling faggot that you think those aren't going to sell. But in general the Retro cloth figures sell very well, so you can go piss up a rope like the pathetic shithead you are.
>>11627680Crazy how Playmates is completely irrelevant to TMNT now, yet everyone k ows NECA is doing TMNT.
>>11627336>look mom I posted it again!
>>11627709You're saying that no one knows about Playmates and the Turtles? Despite them doing figures of them since 1989 to now?
>>11627788I'm saying Playmates is nothing. They are a nothing company attempting to stay relevant while the big boys circle their asses.
>>11627870Oh yeah, I agree. They're being dominated, but they still hold a place in collectors heart. They have their claim on Turtle history, weather we like it or not.
>>11627706They do not sell very well, Necanon, especially when they look the way the Wednesday figures do (terrible). not sure why you’re so angry about the truth.>>11627786I have never posted that particular image before, Necanon. I can only assume you’re the one who is trolling me, given that you replied to me twice.
>>11627983They sell very well. That's why it's been going for as long as it has you contrarian freak of nature.
>>11627870Who are the "big boys circling their asses" you refer to, and why didn't any of these "big boys" have the best selling action figure line in the US for 2025 like Playmates did?
>>11627983Why even bother saying something so obviously wrong?
Weird thread
>>11628537Weird post
>>11628564>>11628537Weird Al.
How good is the damaged robocop with chair? He's less than 40 right now.
>>11628770I wish they'd re-release this. I have it, but I want a second to display both heads.>>11628803Really good! The updated paint apps really make that figure stand out. Plus you get the chair and all that...that's a pretty solid deal.
>>11627870>They are a nothing companywho regularly produces one of the top-selling action figure lines year after year. cope!
>>11628803Damaged
>>11629085No they don't
>>11627870Just saying something on the internet doesn't make it true.
NECA were the first to ever make TMNT figures people wanted, everything before was trash nobody wanted or bought, the franchise is a success because of NECA and the rights should be sold to them since they deserve it for single handedly saving the franchise.
>>11629284It's true regardless. People's interest in TMNT got reignited because of the Mirage figures, and then Playmates derailed that, and things got worse and stagnated under them for a while longer.
>>11629284Don't see what's not true about that
>>11629288>>11629299NECA turtles wouldn't exist if Playmates didn't make figures of them in 1990.
>>11629619So what? Playmates is old news.
>>11629638No doubt, but they did something great for the turtles back then. Also, on the Sesame Street NECA figures. If they ever do Little Jerry and the Monotones, they better come in a box that looks like a telephone booth.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qUp_Yn-Yig
>>11629684That'd make a good SDCC exclusive, actually
>>11629714NECA's on a goldmine. Sesame Street characters made with the Anything Muppets? They got Count already, and because he was an Anything Muppet before hand, they can make Biff, Mumford, Forgetful Jones, Countess, and others that use that patern. They're doing Sherlock Hemlock, so they can make anyone who used the green Anything Muppet, like Little Jerry, Farley ect. Hell, they can retool Bert in his brother Bart.
>>11629280they do! you know who doesn't?
>>11622839Thanks again, great price. Messed up that week, then couldn't load my cc onto the app in time to make an order, since I never order things from Target. But actually got a notification while I was in my old Target!
Nobody gives a fuck about this company, they fumble everything they do. They are literally just a factory that pushes out d list ninja turtle characters if they’re not making garbage
