Getting real tired of the Scale/Hover/Rod deck. I hope Meteor Dragoon is some broken S tier blade just for the sake of having more options. More than half of my locals is just a mirror match at this point.

One idea I had, to solve this problem, was a limited format where all the best blades would be placed into a single group and you could only have one of them per deck.

I got to play beyblade with my cousins today while we waited for turkey time. Second year in a row, it's becoming a tradition.

My nephew made his team up of all the characters he thought looked badass and a few he's gravitated towards, Dran Buster being his fave and now Weiss Tiger. My niece is pretty good but she has a problem ripping the cord hard enough for attackers to really pop off, although somehow she out spun him with a SUPER weak rip where the enemy bey just juggled itself until it fell down.

Then when it was my turn to face against my Nephew she kept concocting new loadouts and handing them to me fresh every time. She came up with a sick Dran Dagger that TK-O'd his top blade setup. I'll have to round them up and document what she put together for me, but I'd say maybe 6 out of 10 she made were actually really good; she was understanding the fundamentals pretty well. Love these kiddos, happy they enjoy ripping beys with their Uncle.

As for my cousin she use to play beyblade at school when she was a kid. Was awesome getting to introduce her to the new school of blading. I could tell it was something special to her but she hadn't thought about it years.

The big tail is a great crit point, the others act more deflective, it's entirely usable. The bigger, and wider, problem is Takara seem afraid of making new beys heavy, it should be an effective smash attacker with heavy bumping up its weight.

I'm the anon who was testing brush last thread, level is probably THE best bit to use for that combo for consistency, but I personally still prefer kick, it has less stamina but brush synergizes really well with its countering movement style.

it's good but hard too use, it lacks the ooomph of shark or wyvern, it does little against stamina builds like clock or 9ball rod. The emperor chip kills it's stamina too.

Oh nice. Honestly I was just going for it because it felt like a good aggressive bit that wasn't too aggressive. Plus it just looks like it'd look good together.

Build me a deck pls.
I'm going to my first tournament this week, and I want to the very least win a match. I have played with my friends, but we almost haven't used the official rules, we even mix and max with fakes (I have tons as well).

Right now I'm thinking about Hover, Rod and Scale, but I don't know about the ratchets and/or bits.

From left to right, the ratchets are
>9-60, 5-60, 3-60, 1-60, 0-60
>5-70, 3-70, 1-70, 0-70
>3-80

Bits, from left to right
>Accel
>Ball, 2
>Low flat
>Point
>Low Rush, 2
>Rush
>Flat
>Gear Flat
>Level
>Zap (I was looking on Google about "Accel with point" and couldn't find anything. Had to look in a database kek).

Also, as a bonus, I have a few good fake parts. One Wheel and a few bits:
>Hexa, Kick, Level, Free Ball, Wedge (I actually asked my friend to borrow his but I think I mixed the fake one by mistake), Elevate and Wall Ball

I would like to skip having to use fake parts, but I will build two or three decks, since I will have my beyblade briefcase.

If you can borrow a real Hexa from someone, you have the best deck in the game at the moment. If not, you could put Rod on 1-60 Level and still do well. You could also change Shark Scale to 1-70 Low Rush, and put Rod on 3-60 Ball you're brave enough to risk the potential bursts.
You've got just about everything you need to have a great tournament.

If you wanted some other stuff to potentially throw in there, Blast is always a solid choice, since you don't have slash I'd say do something like Jaggy 3-60 with any decent attack bit. I've also seen decent success with Blast on 4-50 Rush.

I will build or have in hand a mix of those for my friend if he can make it to the tournament (we are all going to an Anime con but we hace to travel, so everyone has different schedules and he mostly likely won't be able to play).

And another question, where should I aling the ratchet on Wizard Rod? I think it's the most important since it relies on stamina. The left one has the more mass concentrated, so I guess right is the way to go (since the 1 ratchet is mostly to escape from the pocket, right?).

And final question, should my main order be Hover, Scale and Rod?

I see in tournament breakdowns that rod is rarely used in the first slot, which might actually give you an advantage if you run it because it's not as common, while hover and scale are both counters to it.

The thing is with Blast & Might, it turns into weightcreep game and I only had Phoenix Wing 1st mold which make a bit hard to play attack-type.
