>Toy Con NJ November 10th & 11th, 2018!
Not only will the Four Horsemen Be on hand to greet everyone there and sign whatever you want to bring them, but both Lord Veteris And the Fury Clan Or Will be making their debut at the show! Lord Veteris & the Fury Clan Orc will only be sold as a set, and the cost will be $80.00 for the pair.

>Advent of Decay 2.0 SHIPPING OUT NOW
We'll be sending out new batches of boxes every other day or so until everything's shipped. The Kickstarter backer orders will all ship out first. Then the first round of Store Horsemen pre-orders will ship.

>Mythic Legions ALL-STARS 2.0 - MYTHIC LEGIONS: SOUL SPILLER - 2nd ADVENT OF DECAY PRE ORDER
In order to get Mythic Legions: All-Stars 2.0, Mythic Legions: Advent of Decay pre-order 2 and Mythic Legions: Soul Spiller out as soon as possible, ALL THREE WAVES will be shipping at the same time in January 2019 (that's FOUR full containers!!) and should be at our warehouse and ready to ship out to customers in February 2019.
The plus in shipping everything that's currently pre-ordered by then is that we'll be able to avoid the annual Chinese New Year production delays that some companies will be experiencing, and you'll be getting the Soul Spiller wave a couple of months earlier than we were expecting!

>Four Horsemen has increased there activity on instagram, lots of new pictures being posted

Thanks for proving you're a complete liar.

Just got my shipping notice. Only bought seven figures and a weapon pack, didn't expect it for at least another week.
>>
>>7225074
Also, the label was printed this morning but I didn't get the email from 4H until it actually got to FedEx.

God damn it, I do need the gobbo builder, don't I?
Also could someone post Gonxx with knubniks unhelmeted head? I was thinking of using that for him, but I don't know how it'll look with his weird neck

Man, I really hope Vitruvian Hacks does some goblins too so they they could be like little imps or kobold guys for my greenskins.

That does look a lot better. Surprised to have found this so cheap with the markups a lot of this kind of stuff has.
>>

They're almost certainly bootlegs/recasts.
>>
>>7225141
That would be really cool.
Actually that gives me an idea. I think they are going to make a devil figure, I might use that as a lesser demon for Xarria to command
>>
>>7224965

Fucking just bruised the shit out of my thumbs getting No'glins pauldrons on... cool looking fig, but damn those sucked
>>
>>7225141
They have that Rathead you could swap on to make some Rat Soldiers. And you could always use their fairies as...well, fairies.

Personally, I hope the 4H make some Kobolds, a new head and maybe some new hands/feet on the Goblin build would work well enough for me.
>>
>>7225348
>Rathead
Know where can I find that? Googling for it didn't turn up anything and it's not on their store, far as I can tell.

After seeing the goblins I've been hoping we might get some ratmen from this line so I can have a bunch of 1/12 Skaven. Also tried finding a ratman head for sale on eBay and Shapeways to put on the goblin bodies with no luck.

I totally just grabbed a set of axes and knives from this guy. I'm assuming each set is two pieces, as in I get two axes and two knives per set and not that they each come in two parts. If so, I'll definitely use the Axes for my Elven guard and give the knives to my goblins.

He's pretty good, I mainly got him since I figured I should have at least one elf even if they're not my preferred fantasy race, and that I didn't have any non-goblin males on 2.0 bodies. But he turned out really good, especially with the unhooded head.

The new shield handles make hanging them off of the straps on a figure's back way less awkward.
>>
>>7227293
On that note, it took me way too long to notice the new swordbelts are actually shorter than the old ones. Still not really useful as actual belts, but they're fine as chest/back straps.
>>
>>7227303
Honestly, the lack of updated, more detailed belts and straps is my new number one gripe with this line (it used to be the shield clips). It's such a simple addition that adds so much to a figure that I'm amazed more people haven't suggested it. They made fantastic belts for the bird figures, and the sword straps were great at the time of the first KS, but they really should make new, more detailed belts and straps for this line. Even one "accessory pack" type set, like the weapons, could include a handful of different soft rubber, slip on belts that could eventually move into future figure releases.

Shapeways has some decent options (Strangefate specifically, though some modding is required) and I've made a few myself using leather straps and parts from other figures, but nothing beats direct from the source. A good belt, or chest strap set up can make two otherwise similar figures stand apart greatly from each other.
>>
>>7227330
>make two otherwise similar figures stand apart greatly from each other
Wish we got some unique weapon packs between the big waves for the same reason. Having a lot of fun kitting my older figures out with the new weapons to make each distinct.
>>
>>7227330
Yeah I've got a lot of shapeways weapons that look cool and add a lot to the look of someone, but aftermarket soft goods are much harder. I can paint a sword or armor easily enough, but when it comes to heming a skirtpiece or putting together straps, I'm at a loss. Somebody could probably make a killing doing that sort of thing.

OK. I just spent 30 minutes heating and popping gwen apart and working on the joints. As I suspected, the ratchet nubs are WAY too big, causing the hinges to be much tighter than they probably should be. I shaved all of the ones in a shoulder down by about half and they were still tight enough to wrench the arm off, so I went back and cut half of them completely off. Same deal with the ankles, now I can get more than two positions out of them.

The hips are a different story. First off, the actual nubs are much harder to get to. There's a set that's covered by the thigh no matter how you rotate the peg, so unless you can wrench it out completely it's still got a spot where it locks hard. The wild thing though, is that the front of the pelvis part where you plug in the sash or whatever straight up has a hole in one side. You can just pop off the piece and see for yourself, it looked exactly the same in all of mine so I'm thinking it's a mold problem. That's probably not doing the loose hip swivel any favors.

238 KB

>>7227639
Something else that may or may not be related, the hip pegs aren't just round mushroom pegs like everything else in there, they have 4 little notches on them like a screwdriver. I don't know why they'd do it that way there or even at all, but I've got a suspicion it'll start wearing on the hips like a drill over time. I'm considering shaving them off too.

Either way, this solved most of my problems with them, (the hips are still not great) but I'm not looking forward to doing it 15+ more times for all the rest.
>>
>>7227635
They'll probably be getting some cool variants down the road too, judging by what's happened with the skeletons.

I wish I got some more Knights as well. Had I known they would be so hesitant to make more, simple Knight figures I would've grabbed them instead of some of the other figures I got from KS 1. Passing on Owain is probably my biggest regret of the line so far.

Could just swap the Femorc body onto goblin legs, it all depends on their shades of green I would imagine.

It's awesome seeing so many Anons getting their shipments, especially considering how smooth everything seems to be going (far less issues then their first KS). Mines been sitting in the corner for the past week as I haven't had time nor space to mess with them. So far I've only opened two, Gwendolyne and a Skeleton Builder. I absolute love how everything about the goblins is mean and violent and nasty, but then you put the helmet on and they look like a little kid bundled up to go play in the snow. The paint on these remains impressive. It's a little sloppy here and there, but EVERYTHING is painted, and they were really thorough picking out the details. It feels like the sculpting was designed very much with painting in mind, if that makes sense.

>>7229701
I'm also interested in this. The old revoltech ones work alright, but they're a hair too thick, and I have nowhere near enough of them. Everything I've found on amazon like the neca ones have really mixed feedback as to what fits.

Yep. It didn't hit me until now but, even the stuff like the builders are completely painted. It's an interesting choice, and I wonder what it does to the cost, but you can't deny it looks great. Even for something like the goblin builder, I don't think they could have gotten that slightly sparkly gunmetal finish out of just plastic.

The lack of any good accessories is one of the reasons I passed on the Orcfu figures. That and the asymmetric arms (which are great on named characters, not so much for Troop Builders imo) just took too much away from her. The real kicker is that one of the alt heads they gave the Barbarian builder IS the FemOrc head, so she doesn't even get a unique head sculpt.

They should've gotten one alt head and at least one new weapon (scimitar or Orc Cleaver would've been nice) because otherwise, they're fairly boring.

Hopefully we see more interesting FemOrc builds in the future. There was a Pirate FemOrc design floating around the forums during the second KS that would make for a fantastic figure.

Yeah, I didn't realize that until I opened her and it's a little weird. It sort of feels like they priced the barb builders the same as named characters, realized it, and threw in extra stuff to make up the difference. She was probably the one I was looking forward to least, but she's still alright, the shoulderpads help a ton with the empty space below the neck.

Still think the bare bodies needed some more muscles. They're fine on their own, but they look like they're from a completely different line next to the 1.0 stuff.
>>
>>7229683
Not that anon, but I've had the same experience. My Elf Ranger figure is fine, but Lord Aydon is a mess with regards to tolerances and the interaction between hard pegs and softer plastic. It may get better after working some of the joints, but the first few minutes of posing Aydon have been terrible.
>>
>>7232457
I've opened about 7-8 of them now, and the shoulders, hips, and ankles are pretty universally a nightmare out of the package. I've basically started putting them on a radiator for a few minutes straight after I open them so I can work on the joints.

The exception seems to be the goblin legion builder. His arms and ankles are the same as everyone elses, but his hips are completely fine, no work needed.

Sup guys, in your opinion, is any of the figures worth the price charged by bbts? If so, which figures have the best value considering accessories, sculpt etc. Elf Builder perhaps?
I ask because, while i find these very interesting, for the price i can get some other pretty cool toys as well.

The figures are marked as "Adult Collectible - Ages 15 and up" in the packaging just like previous ML's, right?

Stuff like the elf builders kind of aren't because they're straight up double the KS price. The deluxe knight builders are probably the best value because they only went from 50 to 60. They also come with a lot of stuff but that could be good if you want options or bloat if you're paying for stuff you don't want.

I caved and bought another goblin builder to use that extra knubnik head off bbts but that one hurts $18 in the KS bbts charging $40. Yikes.

For anyone who is annoyed with how long No'Glin's sceptre is, but still want to give him a staff, the lower piece of the banner sticks is compatible with the topper pieces, so he can have a goblin-sized staff. I also swapped out the round head for the head of Azza's staff.

The goblins really were the sleeper of the wave, they do a lot more to distinguish themselves than it looked like in the preorder. I skipped gonxx and the king and got one each of the rest, but now I'm thinking I should have gotten the full set. And I know it's only like 40% less leg compared to normal figs, but it makes the aftermarket prices feel extra bad.
>>
>UPCOMING PRE-ORDER:Many Mythic Legionsfans have been asking since we revealed them - the first release of Mythic Legions Ogre scale figures will be going up for pre-order VERYsoon. We'll reveal more details about character selection, pricing, and other such, but the pre-order itself will begin on Monday, December 3rdand will end on Thursday, December 27th, and our current plan is to try to keep the "All-In" for this wave around $200.00.
>>
>>7235335
What did you do for his cape? I folded the black portion so the holes lined up and then place the red portion underneath, connected them to the shoulder pegs. Is there another method for the capes? Also good idea about the staff, it's way too long and I feel will create weakness in the wrist from it being top heavy
>>
>>7235393
I think I sandwiched the red cape on the pegs between the black cape's middle pegholes and outer pegholes, red facing in toward him. When I pose him I fiddle with it a bit to get it to hang right.
>>
>>7235335
I was planning to do the staff trick with my FanEx girl when I got her. As a magical treasure hunter, it makes more sense for her to have a more compact mystical wand for getting around ancient tombs and forgotten ruins. But I won't be getting her until the second Pre-Order ships out.

The Goblins do look amazing though, each face has a lot of personality and adds a lot to their character. It's a shame the Orcs didn't get the same treatment.
>>
>>7235415
>>7235393
I lied, I just checked. The black is behind the red, ends folded inward. So, in order from from pauldron to torso, it's black(middle), black(end), red, on both shoulders.

I'd also like to draw attention to a way you can use the small ceremonial knives. Some parts of the armor skirting are thin enough to allow the knife's clip to attach to them. Using this trick, you can avoid characters like No'Glin needing to wear bulky belts to carry their gear. Works well for Morgalyth as well, since a sacrificial dagger suits her, but a belt doesn't.
>>
>>7235449
Is the clip on the dagger the same size as the one on the sheathed sword? Because I tried slipping that one onto the same place on that skirt, and it was scary tight.
>>
So they're doing a sale this batch? I feel like they should've just rolled over their extra inventory into the second preorder shipments, but what do I know about business?
They probably make more exploding their site, feeding those eBay vultures.
>>
>>7235538
Doing that would probably be a logistical nightmare trying to dig through orders that ordered what they have left over and didn't order wings, and also cause endless bitching from people who bought in the second preorder but miss out on getting anything shipped.

>Orc/Goblin woman warrior

I would buy the figure only to make pieces of this guy
>>
>>7235538
That would be such a nightmare, because they would have lots of orders that could only partially be fulfilled, and those orders would be 4 times likelier to be fucked up. Much more straightforward to liquidate the remaining figures and have all the 2nd preorder items shipped together when they arrive. Plus, how would they handle orders with wings? Just not ship those orders? Have to ship twice? Buyers only paid for shipping once.

>>7235503
It's about the same size, but the skirting is not one consistent thickness. Depends on who you're trying to clip it on, I think.

Is it just me or is the clip on the sheath too low? It puts the sword up in their armpit if they wear it on their waist.

Oh it definitely is, and it's a shame. The Sword/Scabbard set is kind of disappointing overall imo. It's a nice weapon on it's own, but it has all these little details that just irk me. The plain, flat pommel, the fact the sword doesn't sit flush in the scabbard and the whole clip positioning, all enough to bring it down a bit as an accessory.

I still want to see it used on tons of figures though, it's certainly nicer then the plain short sword for Leaders and such.

A Maytag from flipside type would be nice, but somehow I picture Cicero as making a pretty awesome fig.
>>
>>7236662
Any suggestions to make it better? I tried to keep it pretty straight forward, even including the original "official source" for the AoD stuff (no official lists exist for other wave releases) as well as a compiled and clearly labeled picture of all the weapon types available in the line. I figured using the names of the actual weapon types would be a bit easier to understand over the 4H's numbering system, but again that's still available in the doc and on the image if you would prefer that method.

I genuinely would like to know a better way to compile that list, especially if it's really that hard to comprehend. I plan on updating the Full Line image with the Trolls, Ogres and probably the birds that were released under the Mythic Legions Banner (though the latter will most likely not have an accessory list), so if I can update the whole thing to be a bit more easy to use I'm all for it.

The Kickstarter List is included in the link in the OP

I tried getting one of those racks back when Mattel was shutting down their MotuC webstore. Had one in cart (along with Battle Ground Teela and a weapon set) paid for em, got confirmation on everything....then about a week later basically saying "whoops, don't have any of those items we sold you!".

At the very least I did get a refund, but I'm still pissed I missed out on the two best things to come from the MotuC line.

Super tiny mod: the new skeleton's front-only waist piece always looked weird to me, so I swapped it for one with the sideskirts. Gave it a quick drybushing to match the rest, and I think it looks much better.

Finally got My order today! Very happy with them. Brother Mandibulus is probably My favorite of the new ones, but they are all great. The holes on the cape for Morgolyth seem small, so I might not use it on her. Haven't quite decided yet.

Vorgus Vermillion, though, is My man. The only thing I didn't like about him was he didn't have a distinct sword. The Horseman special sword works great for him! Now he feels complete.

Yeah I'm kinda bothered that the Blood Knight have weapons with no blood in it. The weapon is where he should've the most amount of blood splatter.

Blood Knight more like jobber knight who got his ass kicked and get his own armor drenched with his own blood lmao.

I'm not quite sure how I like Morgolyth come out. I think we have another paint mishaps after Gonx. She's supposed to be pearlescent purple, and she was hyped to be like the next Ignatius "better in hand, behold the magic of plastic molding" figure but she came out generic shiny purple with no subtlety at all

I almost picked up the demon brothers from the first ML, but I didn't care much for the Circle of Poxxus additions in this wave, so Xarria will just hang out with Scarabus and other demons. I do wish 4H would return to Gothitropolis, but I'm not complaining about Mythic Legions.

Reminder of what we should have gotten rather than the fuck ugly huge flat silver headdress
>>
>>7238245
Yeah, I can understand that. I love her sculpt, but not really any of her accessories. I'm glad she got that bonus sword, since I didn't get any of the weapon packs, and that one I really liked, but that will be a sort of gift from her to whoever she favors. She needs a throne to sit around and look neat in.

I also got a pair of female skeletons to go with Brother Mandy. I skipped Hagnan but may have to pick him up at BBTS or somewhere. But otherwise I am pretty happy with what I got.

picked up a silver knight builder from the KS a while back.

joints in the legs are basically a floppy mess for the hip joints.

just not sure about the price tag on these.

>>

Mine stretched fine without tearing, I slid them on the pegs very slowly and carefully though. Even pulled it off and put it back on a few times because this was my first caped ML and I had to figure out how I wanted it to look.

His armor is pretty unique and the weapons are really cool (unless you have the dark elf weapon pack probably)

Articulaion is a little hindered by the sculpt, but everything works and he is easily the most solid 4H figure I have, even better than any of the ML stuff.
>>

I see. Only a couple on Ebay st the moment and the cheapest one is missing a flame effect. Definitely wontnpay over a hundred for missing parts. I'll keep my eye out, though.

He seems pretty popular with ML collectors, wonder if they'll rerelease/remake him as part of the line down the road.

>>7238692
I dunno if I want to put stock in the rat race that is the Store Horsemen "in-stock" sales
>>
>>7238644
I think I heard they don't have the mold anymore. It was probably recycled by the Chinese factory after they completed the order years ago, so it would probably require brand new tooling to reissue Scarabus. And the 4H said they have no plans to do that.

So, unfortunately, aftermarket rape prices are going the only way to get him now. On the upside, any version of Scarabus is great, so if you are not picky about colors, you can go with just about any one you can find and still have a great figure.
>>
The foot of 2.0 are smaller than 1.0,plus the ball joints are weak and loose ,so some figures are easy to fall and not easy to stand straight.
>>
>>7225896
