I'm going on my first ever cruise next month, it's gonna be a Carnival cruise. Let's have a cruise general; tips, stories, opinions etc

How was your last cruise experience and would you go again?
>>
>>2705453
The carnival cruise I was on had a nasty brawl breakout
>>
>>2705465
Was it because of black people? I've seen videos with tons of young doctors and engineers on all of the Carnival cruises.
>>
>>2705467
It was because the black people and the mexicans hated each other so yeah

Work out beforehand if you'll get value out of a drinks package. If you only drink beer, it's unlikely you'll drink enough to make it worth it. Wine, spirits and cocktails make it much easier. Remember with some cruise lines speciality restaurants don't let you use the drinks package.

Check out reviews of Speciality restaurants. Some cruise lines have terrible quality, extremely expensive ones (MSC, outside of the unexpectedly good value unlimited mexican).

Buffets can be hell on earth at peak times, especially on sea days. Try to tweak your eating times for when they're quieter.
>>
>>2705453
How long for, and where are you going. I was bemused my one and only cruise but I don’t know what you like

> food
Adequate and unlimited readily available. Better restaurants are available but quality and price varies massively between lines and even individual ships. Look out for the fats deliberately eating their way back to zero on the fare

> drink
Booze packages can be expensive if you’re not getting blotto every day, depending on what you drink. I’m a beer or two with meals kind of anon so it wasn’t worth it

> itinerary
Cruise ships are the best way of seeing some places if you aren’t an >>>/out/ hardcore type (eg Alaska). Plenty of other passengers may as well be in Teletubbyland for how much attention they pay to the surroundings but looking up a fjord or seeing bears on the coast is amazing

> cabin
must have an exterior balcony, don’t be retarded and get an interior one. Links with previous point, looking out to the unbounded horizon is something else

> entertainment
I couldn’t stand it and ended up reading my book instead of dealing with it

I'm planning on smuggling LSD with me, not a massive drinker so no need for the drinks package, will probably have a drink a day I assume.
Definitely trying to eat at the buffet mainly as I want to save money for cool things, not perishables. I want to do cool excursions

>>2705567
4 night cruise to Bahamas, I want a beach holiday/party holiday and to get tan and have fun doing things like snorkeling, exploring, beaching, swimming etc.

Also buying the cheapest interior room because as above I don't want to spend money on stuff that isn't necessarily an activity

Damn I sound cheap huh
Coming from Europe so it's already expensive getting there but I am smart with how I operate so I will still have a lot of fun where possible

Added "book" to my packing list in case I'm underwhelmed by the onboard activities
>>
cruised on Norwegian in late Jan in one of their solo cabins. Cruise was filled with fat 60+ year olds. Didn't bother me though... I just laid in the sun and listened to musics.

I think I might appreciate one of the luxury lines where they won't let you into the dining room if you have jeans on.
>>
>>2705643
Can I wear shorts to the dining room? I'm going to the tropics, I am not packing more than one pair of trousers
>>
>>2705673
No they have a dress code. It's different per cruise line. You're expected to wear trousers and a collared shirt. I recommend bringing at least one set of nice clothes because the food in the proper restaurant is far better than the buffet and the other little free spots.

There's also one night on the ship with a tighter dress code and even nicer food. On the American ships I went on, you can get in with a polo shirt and chinos. On the British ships they won't let men in without a suit. You've already paid for the food so might as well pack correctly to actually eat it.
>>
>>2705679
Thanks, gonna pack some nice trousers and a shirt then. Should have thought so to be honest
>>
I just got back from my first cruise on Carnival Celebration yesterday and want to do another one. Very fun and relaxing vacation. Yes there are a lot of black people, some of them are loud and trashy, but there are plenty of places on the ship that are quiet and nice. I really enjoyed the dinners and service in the main dining room. I mostly avoided the buffet, was pretty bad, some of the fast food type places are decent. I had an interior cabin and it was completely fine, I slept great and didn’t miss having a window. Spent a lot of time gambling in the casino and now they sent me an offer for a “free” cruise and drink package so I think I’ll go again. Feel free to ask any other questions.
>>
Good ships out of Florida?
Particularly if you don't care about exploring the destinations outside of the beaches
>>
Has anyone been on Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas yet?
>>
>>2705576
The Bahamas are not really that great imho. for beach party stuff you could have gone to the Med instead.
But since you are already there, look for snorkeling/diving, swimming with dolphins, the stuff you won't find that easily in the med.
Last time I went to the buffet almost exclusively, horribly unhealthy american food, but a cruise is not supposed to be healthy.

As much as I like to trip once in a while, I would not risk carrying anything into the states. but I assume the risk is small enough with a small amount well hidden.

The onboard activities were never my cup of tea. Check the daily program for music or shows in the evening and plan your meal around that, they can be quite good.
But a book is definitely a good idea. Maybe even two if you read fast, there will be plenty of time and you have flight time to kill as well. download a podcast or whatever and some music as well, remember that internet is extremely slow and expensive on board.
>>
>>2705509
I live in a city near the Mexico border and the Mexicans here absolutely hate blacks. Never knew that was a thing before moving here a few months ago
>>
Got an offer for a free interior room on a Princess cruise, couple questions:
>do interior rooms suck ass? should I upgrade?
>how is Princess relative to other lines?
>>
>>2705984
Interior rooms are a good value. Balconies are great if you just want to autistically stare at the ocean for hours, but then some people feel obligated to miss out on ship activities and socialize so they can enjoy the balcony they paid so much extra for. Rooms with an ocean view and no balcony are basically equal to interior room imo.

Princess is one of the nicer, more upscale cruise lines.
>>
>>2705861
Glad you enjoyed! How much did you spend at the casino for them to offer you another cruise? I assume it's for higher rollers

>>2705981
I'm coming from Europe so I have been to Spain and Cyprus etc, wanted to get somewhere more tropical. Probably will want to see dolphins etc, swimming with them seems super expensive (around 300 dollars!) but I don't mind just looking. Probably will do some snorkeling where possible as I've never yet.

Smuggling wise I'm only bringing a bit of LSD and that's easy to carry in anywhere because it's pretty much just a scrap of paper. Easily concealable anywhere. Easiest drugs to smuggle for personal use imo
>>
>>2706007
I get a little claustrophobic but it’s only in really tight spaces. does an interior cabin feel oppressively small?
>>
>>2706061
I ended about $1200 bucks down of a $2200 bankroll but ended up putting about 20k through the machines when all was said and done and ended up with around 10000 points. Probably spent about 20 hours in the casino on the whole cruise. All slots and video poker. Really fun and the slots seemed a little looser than in Vegas.
>>
i always wanted to go on a cruise
but I'm not much of a partier and I prefer to be by myself
>>
>>2706226
You can do whatever you want on a cruise. You’d probably want to avoid the city at sea megaships
>>

I'm taking an overnight scandinavian booze cruise in a few days, how do I get a swedish girl back to my room to show her the ocean view?

>>
>>2706226

I’ve done two shorter cruises on non-carnival lines and found them to be very relaxing. I mostly found a quiet exterior deck or a bar that wasn’t too crowded and kept to myself. I read two books on a 4 day cruise. Most recharged I’ve ever felt after a holiday

In 2024, it's the closest thing a white man can experience to having slaves.

I don't mind a bit of ratchet, where I'm from I'm from the hood, used to sell drugs, never lived a normal life. I'm gonna get on with all the Tyrones and Shaniquas and have a great time. The sail away party videos look fun and I don't necessarily want to be stuck with 3000 ponces and losers with a stick up their arse.

Gonna have a great time!
>>
How are the NCL and Costa Mediterranean cruises? Every review is telling me not to go but seems like good value, same prices as a hotel + food but I get to see so many cities.
>>
>>2708280
I went on an NCL cruise. It felt pretty middle class. Food was plentiful and never had a bad meal. Bar service was slow as fuck... the first day there was a 25 min line to get drinks. Many other times it was about a 5 minute wait. I will say the pours were very generous and bartenders often encouraged me to take a double "it's free!!".

I can't speak to seeing cities from on excursions. I usually just stayed on the ship.

Just exist I guess, those cruises are notoriously easy and doubly so if you aren't picky. The only "challenge" is not overdoing the buffet if you pay for it, complimentary unlimited beer and wine are pretty good at felling retards.
>>
i'm embarking in 10 days to go to alaska! i will be disappointed if i don't hear earth wind and fire a minimum of 3 times upon boarding.

We're going on the Norwegian Pearl in February, it's a nude cruise, 11 days. Should be interesting...
>>

>>
>>2710281
>not overdoing the buffet if you pay for it, complimentary unlimited beer and wine
The food was mediocre and the free wine was disgusting and I'm not usually a picky drinker
>>
/cruise/ is the most chill on the underwater basketweaving forum.

Scored an awesome deal for a 10 day cruise to Mexico over Thanksgiving. Got a fat suite with a huge deck on it. Going to make the better half blow me on it every night.

Pro tip: To avoid niggers simply avoid Carnival, short booze cruises or anything leaving from Texas or Louisiana. Once you start upscaling, it gets old and White very fast.

Also /cruising/ is a great bang for the buck for young chads with tons of drunk pussy wanting to party around, tons of alcohol and cheaper than anything else with everything included.

>>2705873

I am a huge fan of Royal Caribbean and did the Allure in January. It was an awesome time and RC's private island CocoCay was one of the best times of my life.
>>
>>2710584
Carnival Conquest from Miami! Supposedly one of the "party cruises" and that's kind of what enticed me to go. Fingers crossed I get some decent weather because it seems like it's fucking raining and thunderstorming all over the place right now

have you been on Norwegian before. Their passengers tend to be pretty old in my experience.

The nude cruise books the ship and then manages things from there so it's not a typical norwegian crowd. That said, nudists also generally skew older and weathered (lots of folks who never really left the the late 1960s/70s).

Regardless, I'm sure it will be an experience. Hope you report back on what it's like anon.

>>
>>2710658
Yes, except in the restaurants (you have to be clothed). The buffet is nude though!

Edit: Also have to be clothed in port if other ships/shore can see you. The captain usually makes an announcement telling everyone to cover up.
>>
>>2711007
This.

Bare Necessities charters the boat, so it's not the typical cruise crowd but this anon is right in that the age for nudists generally skewers older (they have time off, they have more money). This is our first nude cruise, though not our first nude travel experience (Desire Riviera May and Desire Riviera Pearl). I'll probably do a write up when I get back in February...
>>
>>2711132
10 day cruise just at sea maybe. Not if you're doing one port every day or two.
>>
>>2712231
>skewers older

>>
>>2710680
Hurricane season is secretly one of the best times to cruise. If a storm threatens the ship, you are on the wayer, the ship just drives out of the way of the storm. Then you getvall these cruise credits and such for the inconvenience. Still a dice roll. This season the Carnival Elation had to dock a day early to avoid a storm. That really sucked for those on the next cruise, because it also left a day early so I imagine many people missed the boat.
>>
>>2710687
My birthday is during hurricane season as well
>>
>>2710626
Avoid niggers? As Tom Segura referenced his father stating in one of his standup why he likes cruising, and will just sit and people watch, "I like watching Black people have fun". Like who doesn't lobe when a random twerk contest breaks out?!?
>>
Why don't Asians go on cruises?
>>
>>2711132
>>2712251

Yeah totally, we're going through the Mexican Rivera going to places like Mazatalan and two nights in Cabo San Lucas. I'm going to come back with a trash bag filled with pills I bought at the Mexican pharmacies. Might even join a cartel down there.

When we did four days on the Allure, that boat was so goddamn big that we felt like we didn't even see half the ship before had to get off. 10 nights of luxury and the best food over Thanksgiving while not having to deal with my family sounds like the perfect thing.

One of the reasons we like cruising so much is the all inclusiveness of it. We were looking at different all inclusive resorts but they're so much more expensive while looking kind of shitty. I definitely think /cruising/ is the best bang for the buck in vacationing. But I can respect and understand how it isn't everyone's jam.

>>2713254

Niggers are the scum of the earth, especially around cruising. Go on Youtube and search for cruising videos. Literally just about every video from niggers is bitching about their trip. Its incredible what pieces of shit they are. I just automatically avoid any Youtube video not if it has some ugly gorilla in the thumbnail on a cruise ship but its just going to be chimpery with these nogs bitching and looking for free shit. And it's like that in every facet these monkeys are aloud to inhabit. Why would you want to spend thousands of dollars to be locked in a small tube with these animals?
>>
>>2713360
>pills I bought at the Mexican pharmacies.

what pills are the most popular to bring back as souvenirs?
>>
do people assume a different personality/identity on cruises? like it is common to just lie about professions, experiences and status? it's not like ppl are gonna anyone is gonna verify shit
>>
>>2713379
It's better to buy in Belize when cruising. You can get Xanax without script for a $1/pill at any pharmacy.
>>
>>2713461
Yes, of course. I often wear a captain's hat and Sperry Topsiders, just to give off the "pro cruiser" vibe. People have a chuckle when they first see me, but with a little ingratiating conversation and a few Pina Coladas, I often find myself back in another couple's stateroom, plowing the wife while the husband films. Many such examples.
>>
>>2713379
Dick pills for sure.
When I was in high school (grew up on the border) people would go down and get soma (carisoprodol) which I guess is fun to take. Back then amphetamine based diet pills were pretty common for women too. Pharmacies can be cagey about the more commonly abused ones like opiates and aderall and they're less commonly prescribed in mexico but they're around especially border towns.
>>
>>2713488
my understanding is that adderall is banned in mexico and any "adderall" you get will just be meth pills
>>
>>2705984
Update: getting my cruise voucher this weekend. I’ll let you guys know what dates/destinations are offered and seek your expertise. TIA /trv/ bros

Last cruise was with Norwegian, on the Epic ship. The crowd was pretty tame it had its fair share of boomers, not too many screaming kids. It was my first ever cruise trip, it made me realize that the next time I do a cruise I want to go all out. I'm talking the vip best rooms and all that extra stuff they offer. Food for the most part was nice, the buffet was meh but had a couple good things to get by, the restaurants though were always good.
>>
>>2713656

Is the Epic as bad as they say? Those two YouTube cruise fags just did a video about it and made it look like the shittiest boat ever.

Also how many shit did they make you pay for on the boat?

I think I'm to the point where I only want to travel on Princess and Royal Caribbean because Carnival is for niggers and Norwegian is like the nigger version of Royal Caribbean.
>>
>>2714204
people whine about the most random shit.

Cons:
>The Epic has a some age, so there is going to be a little rust on railing here and there.
>the drainage plumbing is also questionable.
>feels crowded with long lines for bars. understaffed and NCL isn't putting their best workers on the Epic

Pros:
>it's a fucking cruise ship
>food is decent and plentiful
>drink package is cheap
>has a silent sun deck
>>
>>2714204
basically this >>2714630 . The lines for most things that aren't the sit down fancy restaurants, are pretty long. However I still had a great time and didn't have any complaints that I remember to this day (was on the cruise 2 years ago). Oh yea there is a nice view at the gym from the treadmill POV.
>>
>>2714632

Ha, you might have been on the same cruise as those two cruise fags. Their videos about it made the Epic seem like it was Auswitchz.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHbppvaINzc
>>
>>2714204
Once you go on celebrity you won't want to bother with royal caribbean either
>>
>>2714639

Sell me Celebrity, anon. I know nothing about that line.
>>
>>2714641
I second this, >>2714639 how does Celebrity differ from other lines?
>>
Fuck cruises and all the shit fucks on them hope it sinks nuked and eaten ny sharks
>>
>>2715704
>>2714639
Don't have experience with them in particular but generally better cruise lines:

>better food
>better staff/space:passenger ratio so everything is less crowded and you get better service
>More Anglo or European customer facing staff, fewer Filipinos
>stricter behaviour and dress code standards
>more expensive generally means a better class of passenger, so no booze cruisers.
>they're making more money from you before you board so tend to be less aggressive at nickel and diming you.
>>
>>2715797
I like all of that except the more strict dress code. I guess that’s the cost of avoiding trashy booze cruises
>>
>>2715797
>>More Anglo or European customer facing staff, fewer Filipinos

I don't like having my fellow Anglos serve me. I prefer it be the mudskins, as nature intended it
>>
>>2715821
Yeah, it's pretty hard to avoid. Most mid cruise lines you can get away with a dress shirt and smart trousers but lines like Cunard require a full on suit and bowtie for formal nights and may have a themed formal night too (Art Deco, all white, etc.)
>>
>>2706204
>i lost $1200
Do you feel like you got at least $1200 in value with the comps they sent you after? I don't mind losing a grand if it means they'll give me 1-2 free cruises a year
>>
>>2708298
>25min to get a drink
Was this due to bad bar service or an overcrowded ship with every single woman ordering a fruity cocktail that takes 2 minutes to make?
>>
>>2716015
>Was this due to bad bar service or an overcrowded ship with every single woman ordering a fruity cocktail that takes 2 minutes to make?

all of the above. everyone wants a drink when they get on the ship and are waiting for their room to be ready. the bars were understaffed too and some of the drinks take awhile to make.

by the end, several bars were making any drinks that required a shaker. no margs or mojitos... which is insane on a Caribbean cruise.
>>

>>

not on any low cost for sure
but "no kids" cruises are not messy and shitty
>>
>>2705453
>Carnival cruise
The party cruise. Great for drinking and clubbing, bad if you were hoping for a family cruise. Because its so cheap compared to their competition, you will find trash/ghetto people in them.
>Royal Caribbean
Great cruise for families; it had tons of activities for kids. What I remember most was how nice and polite everyone at the gym was. On this cruise I had the misfortune of being younger than 21 so I couldn't go clubbing in the ship but older than 18, so I was too old for some of the kid activities.
>Norwegian
Usually full of chill old people. Great cruise for relaxing.

I haven't tried any others, so I can't give you too many stories or recommendations.

There’s one thing I learned from traveling with family in my early 20s:

NEVER allow a Gen X/Boomer to book travel for you. They will always book something 2-3x more expensive than you would have. The only exception is if they work with a travel agent.
>>
>>2716427
Random cruises struggle putting asses in cabins for whatever reason or sometimes large groups cancel reservations (weddings etc) and the cruise line has to really drop prices in the last 0-60 days.
If you are flexible with dates are are okay with picking a cruise a few weeks away from sailing, your mom's strategy will win out in the end.

you might even be able to go on multiple cruises using that credit.
>>
>>2705453
What cruises are best to hook up with old women?
>>
>>2716503
Probably Norwegian. They have a whole section on most ships for solo cruisers. lots of widows and divorcees.
>>
>>2716503
There are also lots of dedicated swinger cruises but those really will be all older women, only a small number in their 40s.

>The party cruise. Great for drinking and clubbing, bad if you were hoping for a family cruise. Because its so cheap compared to their competition, you will find trash/ghetto people in them.
Not true unless you book their 2/3 night cruises on older ships from shittier ports (i.e. their cheapest cruises). Everything else they offer is fine.

Norwegian solo cruises have a whole lounge area for the solo cruisers. I’ve done it once, not much to look at but in theory you could have luck there.
>>
>>2716524
I was on their 7-day cruise, but sure, believe what you want.
>>

I have cruised with Carnival more than once. Seethe all you want, an overwhelming majority of the passengers were young adults and families, but there were lots of older couples and retirees too. I'm sure during spring break it's skewed toward college students, but I've had zero problems on Carnival. It was fun and everyone was very laid back every time.

>Seethe all you want
I stated an observation; your the one seething, crying, and claiming that I'm lying. What would be my motive for deceiving others?

I see, so thats why you didn't notice the ghetto people. You were stuck in your cabin. I'm sure that took courage for you to admit.

What happens to these people? Do you spend the rest of the cruise in a makeshift jail cell? House arrest in your room?
>>
>>2717235
Yes, minor offenses (like these fights) can cause you to be remanded to your cabin with security outside to ensure you don’t leave. Major offenses (like being a rapist or a murderer) can cause you to be shoved into a brig (tiny ship jail cell).

I'm looking at a November-December cruise and signed up for a few cruise lines mailing lists. They've been fuckin spamming me nonstop trying to get me to book every day. Is it always this bad? Feels like I'm buying a used car with these turds

I took an 8 hour ferry once that was about the size of that ship in OPs pic, and it was constantly loudish, and vibrating the whole time. Are cruise boats like that?
>>
>>2717634
They can be. I had to change cabins once, as for some reason there was a resonance point in our assigned one that made my wife feel travel sick. A low frequency audible rumble.

The cruise ship was better than any ferry I’ve been on, but it’s still a ship with a huge engine in it and it’s hard to damp the vibrations.

I did a Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry like that. Never again. Maybe got an hour sleep at best, earplugs did nothing.

You're not going to get anything that bad on the vast majority of cruise ships but the cheapest inside cabins may still get engine noise. The bigger problem generally is noise from bars (music into the early hours) or restaurants (scraping chairs as they get ready for breakfast). Be extremely wary of getting the cheapest auto-assigned cabins at some cruise lines, the cheapest cabin grades usually run a much higher risk of being noisy. Some cruise lines have more fine grained cabin grades than others, for example in P&O, you go for the cheapest "guaranteed" cabins and you almost certainly will get put in a problem room unless the ship is empty enough for them to upgrade you.

Getting a better category of room can mean you're not likely to be in a shit room but not always. Pic related is the cheapest Balcony rooms you can get on the P&O Iona. Can barely see the sea and everyone on the promenade deck can look into your room and balcony. They also have balcony's below their infinity pool which will mean you constantly get pool water poured on you.

If you pay a bit extra you'll be able to choose your cabin and there are maps around that let you pick the best possible ones (middle of the ship, a distance from the elevators, passenger decks above and below you)

just back from a week in alaska on the holland america koningsdam.
i was expecting all of the old people, i was NOT anticipating all of the chinks
days at sea on HAL are more boring than other lines since they have fewer scheduled activities. i loved chilling on the balcony looking for wildlife, though. saw a surprising amount of whales just from the ship!
juneau: skip mendenhall glacier and visit the shrine of st therese instead. we rented a car on turo for our stay in port, ended up being a great deal.
skagway: i wish i got to talk about skagway, but it was too windy and every ship had to abandon the port. we ended up visiting icy strait point instead, which SUCKED, GOOD GOD. it's like a sad reservation casino turned cruise port. avoid at all costs.
glacier bay national park was stunning. i feel like if you're going on an alaskan cruise, an itinerary that includes glacier bay is a necessity. we got to see john hopkins glacier calve, and the time it took for the sound to travel was insane
ketchikan: we went on a pilot-your-own-zodiak independent tour and had a blast. saw lots of harbor seals on creek street chasing and catching salmon, but also saw lots of dead stinky salmon that failed at the salmon run and were rotting beside the creek. still cool though
the last day at sea we were going through extremely high seas. i don't get seasick, but i had a hard time walking around in our cabin from all of the swells and rolling back and forth in the hecate strait. breakfast was an impossibility. crew said it was unusually rough. at around 1pm they announced that the seas had died down to 10 foot swells and everyone started crawling out of their cabins. wild
alaska is beautiful, and the scale of everything is hard to comprehend. i got mindfucked once when i saw a humpback whale fully breech out of the water, but he looked so small next to the mountains right on the water.
>>
>>2717863
i have done that itinerary several times about a decade ago, not on HAL though.
the glaciers and the way there through the inside passage are amazing. like you said, it is amazing to see the whales or other cruise ships and get completely mindfucked by how small they look next to the mountains that seem not so high. or to see small dots on the foot of a mountain and make them out as fully grown bears through binoculars.
Skagway is s jump off point for excursions mostly, otherwise a somewhat sterile theme park street with tourist shops. the place is basically empty off season and during the season, it is usually overrun by tourists from 2 ships.
On the way up the ships mostly go the inside passage, so you have some islands taking the brunt of the pacific ocean movement. on the way south they take the outside route and that can get quite choppy.
>>
>>2717235
not the rest of the cruise, but until arrival at the next port. there you get escorted off the ship and can find your own way home. charges can be pressed as well, but I don't know how they determine jurisdiction.

It’s not always SEA.
The last one I went on, one of the bartenders was a really cute Albanian girl.
>>
>go on a cruise
>get pushed overboard
>die like a bitch
>everyone on the cruise is laughing at for you going overboard
>last thing you see is the guy who pushed you pointing at you and laughing
>>
>>2718595
If you aren’t doing something retarded like sitting or standing on the railing, you’re not going overboard.
>>
>>2718597
>be standing near one of the rails talking to a girl
>you're not potenting tot and get pushed
>fly over
>girl just starts laughing at you as you sail through the air
>fall in the water and drown like a bitch
>all without sitting or standing on the railing
>>
>>2718607
Yeah, that’s not going to happen.
>>
>>2718608
yeah that's what the last guy thought before he got pushed off and laughed at like a bitch while he drowned
>>
OP here

Only a week until my cruise
Bahamas I'm coming
Let's get it boys
>>
>>2718607
This has happened 3 or 4 times on every cruise I've been on. The worst part is everyone on the ship making fun of the poor soul after he drowns

Good luck anon.

get a room on a deck higher to avoid engine noise and closer to the middle to avoid sea sickness and movement.

i spent 3 weeks on a container ship that was far less luxurious than a cruise ship and slept great the whole time, engine noise was practically silent when you are in the upper decks of the bridge tower.
>>
>>2718631
>>2718607
there are a worrying number of guardrails on cruise ships that are several inches off of being tumble proof and it always makes me nervous
>>
>>2705453
True story. If there is all of a sudden an ice cream social on a cruise, it's because the morgue is full, and they have to make room in the freezer for the overflow of bodies. Old people die on cruises all the time
>>
>>2718635
Thanks man I'm excited to see the pretty blue water. And get on a big fucking boat
>>
>>2718828
Why were you on a container ship?
>>
>>2719679
Why weren't you on a container ship?
>>
>>2719690
Because I’m not a container.
