Just watched this on steaming. Holy shit no wonder I never heard of this , it has to be one of the slowest paced horror movies I've seen and it somehow has sequels. Watch Warlock 2 now and it stinks of a low budget cash grab.

I remember very little of this film (Crest of Betrayal), a period/samurai drama with a ghostly revenge component, other than the fact that one of the actresses had an absolute 10/10 pair of immaculately shaped hangers. recommended

I watched the colorized version of Carnival of Souls and it was pretty neat. I think it's a rare example of a colorized movie actually adding to the experience a little since it's that really basic filter colorization not like Peter Jackson hand painting every frame so it makes it look even more dreamlike.

I mean it is kind of fucked up. Autistic brother who almost dies because he can't think to get out of the bath without Gilbert telling him to, mom is so fat they burn down the house instead of giving her the additional indignity of having to have a crane carry her out. It's just not presented in an exploitive way

Takes itself too seriously. Kind of a bummer to watch compared to how fun his other films are
>Dagon
Suffers from 3 major problems. One, the main characters are rich unlikable retards. Why should we the audience care what happens to them when they're dickheads. Another problem is the HORRIBLE CGI in it. This movie would be a billion times better if it was made 7 years earlier and were forced to only use practical effects. I also don't like that it doesn't take place in New England and find the setting to be unfit for Lovecraft.

It's clearly AI. The walls and ceiling are supposed to be made of raw wood but there's clearly no separation of individual lengths of wood stacked or layered to create that section. The visual implication is that that 5'x9' section of wall was cut as one solid cross section from a tree whose diameter was larger than 10'. And that tree's concentric circles would have to be, inexplicably, vertical striations.

I watched The Asylum 1972. Pretty decent horror anthology by Amicus with Peter Cushing in it.

Also watched The Creeping Flesh 1973. Another British horror movie starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee but weirdly not made by Hammer or Amicus. Pretty decent and a great performance by Cushing. Would have liked it a little more if it had a bit more edge and monster kino in it but it's alright for what it is.
>>
>>203895886
Aggregators just means the majority of people gave it a 3/5. It's just +1 -1 for negative and positive reviews.

It's a well made show that has solid monster of the week episodes while an "ok" main storyline. The main story isn't anything noteworthy but I'd say it's definitely better than like Supernatural or something. It also features a lot of religious themes presented plainly rather than being obvious propaganda like the conjuring or trying to overreach and trying to do deep thinking on the concept of faith itself like The Exorcist.

Yeah, he's still the crazy homicidal demon clown, he just doesn't have as much of a body count because they have to divide the budget amongst the other stories (All Hallow's Eve is an anthology, Art cameos in each story before the final story is dedicated to him).;

Friend has been raving about this show forever, finally sat down and grinded it. Got through 2 seasons and I think I'm tapped out. This shit is fucking awful, how is it getting financed? It baffles me that it's managed to get 3 seasons with I guess another one on the way.

>Plot elements created then destroyed immediately
>Scenes poorly directed, like the kid walks out of the house when the girl dresses like his dad for the party, goes back inside after being convinced to not go, then like...an hour of time has passed. Fucking what?

This was surprisingly serviceable and, dare I say, decently good. The whole thing was competent: acting, actors, plot, premise, cinematography, effects. Looked and felt like a big budget movie without the big budget stars. Leaned YA, which I'm usually not a fan of but didn't mind it here. The reveal/ending was a bit predictable but still ok. Yeah the premise was cool and well explained/executed but beyond that nothing *really* spectacular about this movie. It did have your boy Richard Harmon (of Veronica Mars fame) who is quickly and quietly becoming a horror king. He always makes any movie he's in a few points better.

It's about racism. I think I'll keep watching to see how bad this gets. Maybe they just frontloaded the poz to secure the funding for the next seasons. Let's see how the third episode goes. See you in am hour, buddy.

it's not a found footage, but has a found footage influence and you'll like it if you're a ff fan.

That movie is dogshit. Boring as hell, unlikable twat cheating main girl, and very little alien kino content. The scene where the cool alien monster runs into the woods is so awesome and then you don't see anything even remotely as cool for the rest of the movie. It's trash.

Hello, my fellow dubs getter. I'm back after the third episode. I have to admit it was a big improvement over the first two. Did they really just pack all the bullshit in the first two episodes for the funding and just made their thing after? Kind of based of them if that's the case but it's far more likely they just had a pause and continued pozzing later on.
I think I'll continue watching. I'm bored and and I pride myself for having a high tolerance of bullshit if there is something I enjoy and I like the core premise as well as the main actress (too bad she gets blacked but that's to he expected nowadays) and then of course theres pic related as a villain so it isn't a complete waste of time.
If I don't come back after an hour or two it means that the show stopped pestering me with political bullshit and actually focused on its story.
