was he a psychopath.... or just severely autistic?
low iq psychopath where every single conflict in the story is because he made a retarded mistake
it didn't matter, it was over
>>206521830Wasn't he possessed by a demon in the books?
>>206521830The issue is he wasn't autistic. He was trained to be autistic. The whole series shows how he's very in tune with his emotions and let's it get him into trouble despite following Harry's rules. Eventually he was able to throw all the rules away and just be a normal guy but he's a psychopath who gets urges to kill despite living a normal life.
>>206521830He's a sociopath with a fucked up libido. He does have emotions and cares about people. He just got fucked up into enjoying hunting and murdering people.
>>206521952yes but actually no. like in the show he refers to his killing urges as his "dark passenger" for the first two books. in the third it turns out this passenger is an entity that some cult believe it's meant to kill their god, so they want to destroy it and dexter. but nobody liked this plot so it never comes up again in the following books. it's a bit like when michael myers was actually controlled by druids
>>206521830The whole thing was one big metaphor for having illegal images. Sickening really.
>>206522265>it's a bit like when michael myers was actually controlled by druidsMichael Myers wasn't controlled by druids. Halloween was originally meant to be an anthology but producers saw the profit in Myers becoming the centrepoint. Halloween 3 is just the remnant of what was meant to be an anthology series, hence why it's derided. For me it's the most kino out of all of them. Halloween 1&2 are even referenced as in-universe movies in Halloween 3.
>>206522511i envy you if you legit didn't watch any halloween after 3https://halloweenmovie.fandom.com/wiki/Thorn
