In Inglourious Basterds (2009), during the Bear Jew scene, a leaf falls on Cpl. Wilhelm Wicki’s chest. It stays on his chest for the remainder of the scene and symbolizes the yellow Star of David patch that Jews were forced to wear after Nazi occupation in order to differentiate and identify them. But was this done on purpose or did the fucking trees above in the forest randomly pooped out a leaf onto the actor's chest? If the former, it's accidental symbolism. Maybe the director didn't even realize it.Interesting, IMO.Thoughts about Germany to this day being occupied by US troops and how that effects German movies?
>>215881903Anon, I have always thought this same exact thing when I watch the movie. Not even memeing. It has always crossed my mind and it definitely looks accidental.
>>215881992U meine soulmaten, ja?But on a more serious note, dude, like, yeah, bro. If this is the case, this is a very unique case of>accidental symbolismin cinema (pronounced: chee-nuh-mah)!
