Also while I'm here, since the fanbases of these two movies seem to heavily overlap I'm just gonna say the American ending of The Descent was better, and I suspect that people who defend the death ending haven't actually seen the movie. It has nothing to do with the concept of her living or dying. The death ending has the exact same 20 minute long escape sequence that the American ending has, it just has a 45 second long "it was all a dream lol" sequence that was jarring, horribly executed, and clearly just tacked on at the end
