The movie didn't introduce half of the characters. What the fuck was up with that? Who the fuck was the purple fucker that was tooling around with Mando those first few missions? Who was Sigourney Weaver? I know she was a New Republic Person, but we got no intro to her or her character. Same thing with the bad guy bounty hunter who captured Mando. It was so fucking weird that it failed with all this basic storytelling stuff.
