Recent News:The Chrono Jotter released (chinese only)Penultimate chapter of A Story Beside releasedCute Bite out August 31At Your Feet out Sept 1Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous out Sept 2
>>3527387there is lack of gaming news... the only thing interesting i can recall is the new Saint Row Reboot
It feels nice to have official merchandise of these two, even if it's something as simple as this.
What does the 'folklore parameter' option in Curse of Kudan do?
Some mad bitch is making a Yuri themed Resident Evil 1 mod that makes Jill and Rebecca partners!
>>3527557You are finally a Jill sandwich.
>>3527557>RE1>the PS1 version, not the remake
>>3527670Remake is basically impossible to mod outside texture replacers because of the way it was made.
>>3527557Chambertine is a series of mods. This was made for Remake 3. I believe the modder was saying this is the first total conversion for it. Jill's apartment in Remake 3 is filled with the photo's of half-naked girls, so it wouldn't suprise me.
>>3527678>'It's on me baby!'>no commaLiterally unplayable.
>>3527679She's wearing the Mega Meat Supreme, if you know what she means.
>>3525105A Story Beside>>3525209It's slow-paced and comfy. You walk around, talk to villagers, and make choices about things like how to spend someone's inheritance or whether to plant herbs or flowers in the garden. Some choices will change things during later chapters. It's pretty easy to be a lesbo by telling all the boys in the town that they're gross and responding positively when the elf flirts with you. There's a couple minigames where you just have to press directional buttons when prompted. Each chapter is about an hour long. I thought it was pretty fun and heartfelt for a walking sim.
>>3527557With old voice acting from that game is going to feel like a YTP parody from 2011.
>>3527689Is the childhood friend still a het bitch?
>>3527692Yeah, but her one daughter looks like a tomboy, so maybe Lyric gave her that one book you can find in the village where the princess marries a girl.
>>3527692Elf Wife is way cooler anyways
>>3527677>series of mods i never ear of them, there is one already out?
>>3527693>Yeah, but her one daughterDoes she get with graham in the latest chapters?
>>3527689How long is this game overall? I hope its long enough to be worth $10.
>>3527694I loved that Lyric spends the chapter talking about how in their town relationships just don’t move as fast as they do in the city and then she instantly falls for a cute elf after a single conversation
>>3527698She did in mine, yeah.>>3527699Each chapter is about an hour and there's six chapters so far, so I've put in about six hours. If the final chapter is a similar length to the rest then it'll be about seven hours for a full playthrough.
>>3527689Can you just be miserable all the time and die alone in a ditch? That would be really relatable to me.
>>3527750The game actually really accommodates that with how fucking melancholy it gets
>>3527750Actual spoilersYou can fail to support your sister so she ends up dying, watch your two best friends get together without you, watch your town die, fuck up a cute girl literally walking into your life ruining any chance of ever finding another lesbian, and then end up marrying some rich dude just so you can pay to fix the town mill for maximum suffering
I played sutekinanojo, while I don't really like the direction the game went I thought it was a solid 6 I thought the lack of good ends was worse than the implied het rape I don't know why the chinese went so apeshit over it, there must be worse stuff on steam.
Kelsi just screams the town slut, and that's she's screwing every dude. Why the hell do people want to romance her?
>>3527754Surely there must be unambiguous good ends too.
>>3527820There is, you just have to play smart.
>>3527819She has some good moments when she starts growing up a bit and people want to turn the "straight" girl gay
>>3527789It means you don't get shit. Chin-chongs and japs were right to throw shit at the devs and wish the author die. For starters, the only person who cared about it being any good was the artist. The writing and how characters act was /b/ level. And second, it was advertised as yuri, but it is fucking not. Despite only sex we see is between girls. It is just two of them brainwashed with drugs, one of them get raped in the past, and both of them in fact just obeying orders from some creep who films and streams all the perversions to the net. (and it's implied that the creep is you)
>>3527912Oh I didn't realize this deepest lore stuff I just thought Sumire went delusional from the trauma.>Chin-chongs and japs were right to throw shit at the devs and wish the author die.You can probably find worse stuff on steam without this level of backlash, I don't mind people having opinions but it feels like some organized raid rather than something organic.
>>3527975>you can probably find worse stuff on steamthat was advertised as yuri? probably only ladykiller in a bind and that had it's share of backlash. Really don't think there's anything worse.
>>3527978That was worse since the content was actually present instead of vaguely alluded to, and the game specifically said everything was nice and consensual instead of upfront admitting it was meant to be dark as fuck, and yet it had much LESS backlash. It did get people upset enough to get it changed, but it didn't get flooded with negative reviews. There was more organisation in the angry chinese response here.
>>3527987You're really forcing this point of view. Chinese are just used to joining flaming bandwagons if they see their fellow bugmen doing it.
>>3528000I'm a different person than the one who brought it up originally. I'm just assuming there was a yuri forum somewhere chinese-only that brigaded or something and think that it's interesting if there were more of them than there are of us.
>>3527912>and it's implied that the creep is you)That's me alright.
There is not enough discussion about this one. Who do /u/ think is the best girl?
>>3528000>>3528010Yeah I don't really like this type of behaviour, I'm afraid they will target a yuri game I like one day and take if off of steam because the dev said something they didn't like or something, I will stop talking about this here but these seemingly organized raids aren't a good thing.
>>3527912>it's implied that the creep is you.Thats pretty clever from the game, thats how i feel everytime i watch yuri.
>>3528045I've heard rumors of some games getting reviewbombed because they refused to add chinese translations, but that's just rumors, I don't have any evidence for it.Still, I mean, that's life on the internet, sometimes shit happens.
>>3528052False advertising getting called out by fans is a good thing, there isn't some big conspiracy against a shitty niche game. /u/ games have so many bigger problems to contend with before any of this will ever matter.
Are any of the 90s Japanese girl fighters like Asuka 120% or Variable Geo easily goggleable? I’m not expecting gachi yuri from this kinda thing, but some easy ships would be nice.
Kingmaker writers confirmed that Linzi was a lesbian. I suspected as much from some lines but its nice to know its intentional.
>>3528161>the gay party member is the only one who never comes back to lifeRussian writers still stuck in the 90's
>>3528161She was a qt...
So what's the verdict on LIS3? Someone on /v/ played a leaked copy and said there is zero yuri content.
>>3528258I don't trust /v/ but I also don't trust the devs. If they claimed there was no happy ending with the girl love interest I'd buy that, but since it was pretty heavily sold as "bisexual, date either guy or girl" I find it hard to believe there'd be zero girl/girl stuff.
>>3528258>/v/>played/saidThat said, isn't this shit episodic like the other ones? then i don't think anybody would expect anything, gay or het, on the first ep.That said if the entire thing is gonna get released in one drop, then /v/ is lying, they always lie, they are literally pathetic.
>>3528274Apparently they're not doing episodes this time, or so says wikipedia anyway
>>3528161>I suspected as much from some linesI must've missed those. Anyway pretty cool, although I would've preferred Jaethal.
At least try not to blatantly reuse assets.
>>3528424How much money can Dharker squeeze out of these asset flips?
>>3528424Imagine the Yuritopia we would be living in if they never made the Negligee prequel.
Both the lesbian vampire sim and the foot fetish VN are out now
>>3528513It wasn't just the prequel the guy even tried to make a het harem game where the lesbian from negligee got dicked. Fuck dharker
>>3528649>Het game gets tossed due to backlash>Makes a new game with a gender option choice>Adds her back in>Romanceable by both gendersFuck this studio

>>3528661if there's 120 romanceable options, IF it ever gets made, it wouldn't be hard for them to restrict a few to lesbian-only
>>3528646Vampire game is Cute Bite
God damn it Valve.
>>3528661I think they addressed this before and basically said "the characters are all actors playing roles", which is a poor excuse to reuse the same assets over and over again
If anyone's interested in getting Rune Factory to add yuri, there's an official survey going on where same sex marriage is one of the options as a 'feature you'd like to see in future titles'.https://creativesurvey.com/ng/answers/aea8fe7469c21fd52d7330e38f52d5
Mary Skelter Finale limited edition is on sale today and comes with a lot of nice stuff, plus its probably the only physical yuri game release of the year.
>>3528736Huh. The fact that they're aware of the demand enough to even give that option makes me a little hopeful.
>>3528790I'd be surprised if they weren't aware of it since it's a feature that's get asked for every game
>>3528736I voted, not that it will make much difference since they have avoided it this long already. Story of seasons has had them beat for years now.
>>3528786I'm surprised a LE for such niche series offers more variety than some triple-A LE's, but I'm not complaining. I got my copy.
>>3528786I'm still annoyed that Mary Skelter 2 got the shitty Limited Run Games treatment, but I'd say this one makes up for it. And they know which story among the ones in the novels is the most worthy of putting front and center.
>>3528801RF didn't even have a proper female protag until last game and then 5 took nearly a decade to come out. It's not much of a comparison.
>>3528786Also worth getting the otsuu x little mermaid art standee while it is still available, perfect timing to get both and have free shipping.>>3528803It's an incredibly good value, I was surprised it had so much stuff in it. Makes it really enticing since it is a game that has multiple games packed in it.>>3528819This bothered me so much, I don't want to spend 2x the price to get a physical copy of mary skelter 2 just because they didn't print enough of them. Ended up having to get it digitally.
>>3528921>it is a game that has multiple games packed in it.Not really.
>>3528786I guess I should finally get around to playing 2.
>>3528258That can't be right. They already said Steph was a romance opportunity.
>>3528987I think the thread back then was saying it was not only open ended type of ending but you don't even get a kiss. It doesn't mean its not yuri, just way less than 1 and BTS.
>>3528736Never played Rune Factory before. Almost played the latest one knowing they had FeMC.Anyways bullshitted my vote in. Hopefully it counts
>>3528736Huh? which option do I choose?Google translate is being nonsensical
>>3529252Ah no, now I realize it's several questions, not just one
>>3529253I just clicked something randomly and call it a day.
>>3529501>[x] Please remove same-sex relationships from Story of Seasons too.Whoops.
>>3529252Question 9, option 5
>>3529501>Q10: What's the first Rune Factory game you played>A: Rune Factory 3>Q11: Select all of the Rune Factory games you've played>A: None of themThey're not going to take this survey seriously if we answer like this.>Q14: What gender are you and what gender protagonist do you play as?>A: I'm male and play a male protagonist. And if we answer like this they'll just give us a bunch of M/M options.
>>3529586>>A: I'm male and play a male protagonist.People do this?
I tried Cute Bite, no idea how to romance your teachers but I'll eventually find out.
>start Skelter 2>the very first lines of dialog are Otsuu and Mermaid flirting>and most of their dialogThis is going to destroy my heart isn't it.
>>3529614I'm going to play it this weekend, really looking forward to it since I haven't played anything since Perfect Gold. It looks like A Little Lily Princess is on sale for 75% off because of Cute Bite coming out too which seems way cheaper than what I remember paying for it.
>>3529733I think anons who played it and posted pictures of the ending said both survive and stay together, which is why an actual gameplay game is getting good hype on /u/ for a change
>>3529733It's an emotional rollercoaster the likes of which I've rarely seen, but it's absolutely worthwhile to see the whole series through.
>>3529742Do I have to play Mary Skelter 1 to understand, or can I just skip it?
>>3529746You're supposed to play it second, it's even normally unlocked once you finish 2.
>>3529733>game froze going down a staircase in the Aquarium>lost a whole floor of progressahhhhhh even though I have a portable save point I always forget to save.
Is Mary Skelter 2 not available digitally? I can’t find it on Steam or PSN. There isn’t even a Wikipedia article to confirm what platforms it’s on.
>>3529819Only a digital switch release.
>>3529820Y’know, I think that’s probably about it for my interest. I’m not huge on first person dungeon crawlers in the first place, I’m really iffy on IF games on the first place, and the most interesting one is on a platform I still don’t own in spite of the other two being on platforms I own.I think this game just isn’t gonna end up being for me.
>>3529904You can try to emulate it on PC.
>>3529733Make sure to buy a lot of furniture and gift them to your party immediately in their respective rooms. Getting everyone's friendship points to 5/5 unlocks new dialog events which usually have cute Otsuu x Little Mermaid moments. Little Mermaid already starts at 4/5 and has hearts instead of stars for obvious reasons, so she only needs a few gifts.
>>3529918I'd like to add that there are no permanently missable events, but on the other hand some require you to be far enough along in the main story even if you already satisfy the friendship requirement. Each event you see also unlocks another Massacre skill for that character so they're worth doing for gameplay as well.
>>3529911Not him but yes the game works perfectly fine from start to end on Ryujinx. I’m mainly a console player so my 8gb notebook was very shitty for emulation though, making me play the whole thing at subpar FPS.On the same note, i was wondering if the PC Mary Skelter 1 is the same version with Otsuu and Little Mermaid appearing later as the one included in post-MS2, because i just couldn’t stand the framerate on emulators so i gave up after finishing the first campaign.
>>3530063No, the PC version of Mary Skelter 1 isn't the same as the one included with 2, it's just the original Vita version and lacks that part of the story, on top of having less refined balance and mechanics and much different dungeon design. It would make sense to play it for the complete series experience by going 1 PC, then 2, then 1 Switch, then Finale, but there's not much point for any non-hardcore fan to play the same game twice including an inferior version that lacks essential story content. You're still getting the full context if you just go 2 -> 1 -> Finale and I'd argue it's also better to start with 2 without knowing anything about the series prior.
>>3530072Oh well guess i’ll just overclock my machine to play through the emulator one then. I’m definitely not a fan of how they presented Jack as the typical self insert harem mc and took away the characterization from the girls cast to just make them thrirst to join his fanclub, but my hopes are that Mary Skelter Finale will avoid doing these very same mistakes.
>>3530089This game wouldn't even be a talking point on this board if they did that with Otsuu and Little Mermaid, so they have that going for them.
>>3530089>my hopes are that Mary Skelter Finale will avoid doing these very same mistakesThey avoided that by design by making the parties split up into several smaller ones, the two parties in each row meet up into bigger ones after a bit but that's it, the only Blood Maiden from the first game who really gets any time with Jack is Alice. Everyone else interacts within their own groups.
>>3530123>juu guruupu>jew groupHuh.
>>3530152They changed that name to Toh in English so I wonder if they wanted to avoid it sounding like that.
>>3529614I got an instructor-related ending by maxing out their class. Not sure if that counts as romance since my checklist screen doesn't work.
Pathfinder Wrath of the RighteousShould I care?
>>3530123>Hameln, Gretel and Red Riding Hood separated from the main partydamn
>>3530165how do we know, we don't know your tastes.do you like this kind of RPG? do you want some romance in your game, rather than some game in your romance? are you the sort who wants to be on the hot new thing, or the sort who wants to wait for a bargain edition?
>>3530163assuming you bought the game if you're having a weird bug you should report it so it can be fixed?
>>3530180Sorry, no I was talking about romance. I already enjoy CRPGs so that's not an issue. That's pretty much it, is there any /u/ related reason to care about the game? It released and no one is talking about it
>>3530183In terms of /u/ two companion romances and two (maybe three?) important NPC romances.
>>3529747You do realise that doesn't make any sense, right?
>>3530192It does once you play them and it's what the developers recommend doing on the game's official website to anyone who hadn't yet got into the series by the time 2 came out. If you don't care about spoilers, I can tell you the reason why it works this way. The original version of the first game happens, then the timeline is reset and the second game happens in its place, then the timeline is reset back to that of the first game at the end of 2 and you unlock the new version of the first game, where the events that happened in 2 create the conditions to allow the characters to prevent the timeline from being reset to the start of 2 again and progress to the third game. That's why the complete order of the games would be 1 -> 2 -> 1 remake -> 3 and why it's fine to just start with 2 rather than playing 1 twice. And it's way easier to guess the twist of 2 if you play it after 1 so it works well for the overall story if you don't.
>>3530188I thought the queen was the only NPC romance. Who are the other two?
>>3527387Any yuri mods released/updated in these latest months for RPGs?
I was browsing boorus and suddenly found this game called Tales of Beseria that had a fuckload of yuri art i was unaware of. After doing some digging i found out that the mc had a thing for her shota brother unfortunately, but does it have subtext, yuribait or something like that to justify all the /u/ art?
>>3530222>Tales series>yuriGet a load of this gal right here...
>>3530224Ristelle was a popular ship
>>3530163I got the Butler ending. Basically:>When she asks who are you to her you need to reply Your companion>When she asks why she got locked inside a coffin you need to reply You were disobidient, You stole from Him, A Person, Her affectionThen you need 150 Insight. For the teachers>Dance instructor>Choose "Like to stand out from the crowd" and "History and tradition". Then you need 125 Grace, 75 Dominance and you must feed 4 times at balls>Lore Teacher>Choose History and tradition, 50 occult to make an event chain fire, you also need to take art classes and then bring occult to 200>Horticulture teacher>Choose cleverness, then you need 175 Science, 75 Sensitivity and MAX 50 fighting, so be careful>Urban exploration teacher>Choose "like to stand out from the crowd" then you need 200 mischief, 50 law and you need to commit at least one burglary>Computer teacher>Choose "keeping up with new developments", then you need 175 science. Don't do child modeling.
>>3530222Berseria has some entertaining banter between characters which is used as a basis for shipping Velvet with any of her party members, male or female. There's not really any romance or subtext though.
>>3530224>>3530233Closest thing the series got to yuri was the double-gay ending of the Zestiria anime. And that really didn't have much buildup to speak of.
>>3530237I guess I need to watch the Zestiria anime...
>>3530240You don't really need to. It's mostly just shounenshit and the yuri stuff only happens in a few select episodes. Someone actually made a list of the yuri relevant episodes once upon a time, but I've long lost it.
>>3530207Iirc One of the goddesses, Iomaede, wants your Gold dragon cloaca. Queen's angel related even if Lich can get her as an honest vassal>>3530188Who are the companions? Aru and Seelah? I remember Cameilla being a typical straight girl i.e. a necrophiliac and cannibalistic.
>>3530317>>3530207The companions are Arueshelae and Wenduag. The confirmed NPCs are Quuen Galfrey and (light spoilers) the Demon Lord Nocticula. I've heard of (super huge spoilers) an ending of the game where you team up with the antagonist Areelu Vorlesh and ascend to godhood and if it is like Kingmaker then it might include a romance with her.
>>3530409How is Wenduag? Areelu need a specific alignment? Might go for her when I get around to making Devil. Pretty sure Nocticula would be neutral to good iirc from lurking during the beta/alpha.
>>3530421Wendaug is a Neutral Evil Darwinist, she's loyal to your PC because she consider you the strongest around all commanders of the Crusade. Can't comment on the romance since I'm not actively romancing her. Maybe on the second playthrough.Arueshalae, apparently lusting for the PC but is terrified to act on it because she might relapse to evil with her innate desire to "own" her. Its apparently a thing with Succubi. As you delve more into her backstory, turns out she was really did some extremely fucked up shit when she was evil. Can't blame her for trying to atone.
>>3530427Damn Wendaug sounds...trite. On paper at least. Aru's at least good for a trickster probably.I wonder how Areelu will work. Bet it's gonna be like 'hit these four flags in the first third of the game and then update like the fairy in the first one. That said the Areelu thing sounds like Nocticula's possible ascension
>>3530429From what I could gather from people playing the beta it's apparently possible to convince Wenduag to change her views - at least partially - and it's pretty decently made from a character development point of view.Similarly Arueshalae has both a redeemed and corrupted character arc, and the Azata path seems to be tailored-made for a redeemed Aru romance.
>>3530427>Arueshalae, apparently lusting for the PC but is terrified to act on it because she might relapse to evil with her innate desire to "own" her. IAny way to romance her as a evil character then?
>>3527980Please just tell me whose face this is and why /u/ keep posting it. I could almost beg you
>>3530409Well that's a lot of demon girls to romance, not complaining, I absolutely love demon girls. Should be fun.
>>3530501You can corrupt her if you don't care about her becoming a slut.
>>3530501>>3530535Corrupting her isn't really fun iirc from the beta.
>>3530520The player character from Ladykiller in a Bind, a game advertised as yuri, but features the MC getting raped by a dude and liking it.
>>3530520>>3530686One of the datable characters, NOT the main character, from Ladykiller in a Bind, a game which was advertised as entirely safe sane consensual yuri BDSM but in the initial release had a Dark route where if you made the MC a total slut who betrayed everyone and chose to let a guy fuck her, she would be turned on by the degradation. This was removed in a later patch. It's still gross I just prefer to be accurate.
>>3530690She also gives a trap a handjob and if I recall correctly that scene wasn't patched out.
>>3529918>Getting everyone's friendship points to 5/5 unlocks new dialog events which usually have cute Otsuu x Little Mermaid momentsThere are some gold nuggets even in the menu profiles (obscured part of them due to spoilers).
>>3530690It wasn't a dark route or anything. Near the end the MC has to save the main heroine and she needs help. Then your options are decided by how you choose during the game, basically how many points you earned. If you had enough with some characters you could ask their help and the game remained yuri.If you messed up, the only two options that didn't required points were the degrading het ones: either give a handjob to a crossdressing guy or be forced to give a bj (and later sex) to an asshole guy.The worst part is that in the latter scene the MC (who prouds herself to be a lesbian) actually starts to enjoy sucking him off and keeps wanting more. The author defended the scene by saying that "it's not rape, it's transactional sex!", which, other than being bullshit, misses the point that the game was advertised as yuri only.
>>3530763It wasn't just because of needing to save the heroine. That's why it took a while for players to find it and people thought this story was made up at first. To get anywhere near this situation you had to screw around and fail both of the two main routes. If you were on the main routes you never had this situation with needing to find help.If you'd screwed up and failed to go on the main routes, then you could still bribe a guy for help if you had enough points earned in the voting game. If you'd screwed THAT up too, then there were still other options to bribe him with iirc but it's been a while since I've read the original scene so I don't remember every detail. You did have to confirm multiple times that you wanted to go the sex way though, so I guess the author figured that anyone who clicked yes that many times was into it.It obviously shouldn't have been in a game advertised as consensual yuri only.
>>3530520see this is why we don't like to talk about it it just brings down the tone.so, does anything good happen in the pathfinder romances?
>>3530779>It obviously shouldn't have been in a game advertised as consensual yuri only.Don't worry in his or her next game the author of Ladykiller now made an advertised as lesbian only RPG adventure where one of lesbians as main characters is a crossdressing guy who fucks his girlfriend so yeah, it seems author has really strange take on lesbians in his or her head.
>>3530790Define good? That aside, Wendu seems better in practice than how she's described so I might try her romance out. My like one big hope, outside of Iomedae, is Lich getting together with Galfrey for reasons
>>3530791by that i assume you mean there's a trans character? which is only to be expected given the source. I've had zero interest in that game since it was announced anyway, I don't like the art style and the gameplay sounds grindy.
>>3530779It definitely didn't take a while at all, I remember buying the game when it launched and getting a refund before I even had time to play it less than 24 hour later because of all this shit.
>>3530723If I took a screenshot of all their flirting I'd probably accumulate 100 images on my Switch album. On a semi-related note thanks to that one anon who explained the Kagome-Kagome mechanic a while back because that saved me in the later dungeons.
>>3530797Now that I think about it, there's an instance where even some dungeon loot of all things is used to push their relationship that being the two Wedding Dresses on the opposite sides of the top floor of the Metropolitan Office. The developers must've been really, really into it.>On a semi-related note thanks to that one anon who explained the Kagome-Kagome mechanic a while back because that saved me in the later dungeons. That plus the Critical Notice mechanic is some genuinely very fun and clever stuff I'd like to see in more turn-based jrpgs in general. It's just so satisfying to literally bitch-slap a boss into facing away and knowing when you're going to drop a huge critical hit on its back. It's all about break gauges nowadays and I find it a bit stale.
How can an orc be so cute?
What does /u/ think about Lake?
>>3531300It's a large body of water, but that's not important right now.
>>3531300Super boring Life is Strange except it takes place in Oregon and you're a lesbian.
>>3531300The reviews all made it sound super super slow, so I assume it's for a type. a type who wants to get nowhere fast for some reason.
>>3531171Just play Salting the Earth and you'll never have to wonder again.
>>3531300I have it in my backlog. I'll get back to you in a couple of days.
>>3531171The Pathfinder games completely got what Pillars Of Eternity missed from Baldur's Gate.
>>3531466You can clear your backlog in a couple of days?
>>3531300When I was a kid I liked fishing, rowing a boat and swimming in a lake a lot. I wish I could go back to those care-free days and enjoy those activities again.
>>3531485Nowadays you’d probably get leeches if you tried.
>>3531475No but I can choose what to play.
>>3531489Leeches are part of the idyllic American childhood, didn't you watch Stand By Me?
>>3531322To be fair living in a small town without crippling debt and managing to find multiple(?) other lesbians organically in your 40s is a pretty wild and out there fantasy
>>3531568There's literally only one romancable female.
>>3531614I'm gonna say even one is a miracle
>>3531616There's only one male as well, this game is being bashed because it doesn't support poly or non-binaries.
>>3531619I kinda doubt that but uh okay?
>>3531629I mean, gamers are absolutely insane, the more attention a game gets the more you are guaranteed to have someone bashing it for bizarre reasons. There were definitely several angry threads screaming about how the possibility of lesbians existed was proof of the downfall of society. I'm sure there's someone out there angry that the game doesn't promote their favorite non-mail delivery service.
Does Pathfinder have animated cutscenes like BG3?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OO2A6VxcjME
>>3531716No. Pathfinder doesn't have tthe budget necessary for these kinds of cutscenes.
>>3531737BG3 was funded by Kickstarter...
>>3531716>>3531743Fuck off with your trolling.
>>3531743Which is insane and kinda sus, seeing that it comes from a dev that has under its belt one of the most hyped modern crpgs of last decade and one of the biggest crpgs licenses ever. Its like if CDscamRED would have done a Kickstarter for Cyberbug 2047 tbqh.
Reminds me; someone in the WotR threads in /vrpg/ found the ending with Mommy Areelu. From what I gathered looking through the thread, there's no romance with her or possibly nothing more than flirts but there is in fact an ascension end where you ascend with her.
>>3531716There are cutscenes.>>3531743No it wasn't. WotR was though, and there's nothing wrong with that.
>>3531773For many games kickstarter is no longer a funding source, just a preorder process.
>>3531777That's how I've always treated the things I've backed.
https://www.gematsu.com/2021/09/maglam-lord-rated-in-germanyI knew it was possible that PQube would bring it over.
>>3531300I've been playing it in short bursts during the last two days and ... you are better off wathcing a walktrough on jewtube and skip the gameplay parts. The gameplay loop is very simple and slow, you go around the small town to deliver mail and to talk with people. It's quaint and refreshing at the start but gets repetitive and old real fast, fortunately you can quick travel and auto pilot so there's that. What's really off putting is the stillness, the town is empty execpt for some cars and one or two random people walking in the streets, the characters just stand still and talk, there is no enviromental sound, it's as if you are stuck in limbo. The main character acts more like a teenager than a 40yo woman, but I do have to admit that it's really cute when you hug with the movie nerd. The voices are ok.Also you can't pet the cats.I honestly don't think I'm going to finish it, it feels like a chore and the characters are not so interesting to warrant a full play.
Inshallah we will get Tokyo Necro EN announcement this year or the next one
>>3532236Dosen't Tokyo Necro have gameplay? It'll never get a release
>>3528040Is this even good? How yuri is this?
>>3532486It's a pretty decent game, though the translation leaves a lot to be desired. It wasn't a dealbreaker for me personally, but others may feel differently.
Where can I sign up to be a tinysaurus wrangler? I think I can handle bathing a womanlet in a sink.
>>3533156First you have to be hired by a game company despite having zero experience in anything connected to game development.
>>3533156what is this about?
>My next project is slated to be a more serious visual novel featuring adult characters and an occult-themed mystery. It is not a sim or RPG in any way, it's a VN with a teeny-tiny bit of hidden-object/adventure as you search for clues. It's also a dedicated yuri story, so some of you will be into that and some of you won't. We're doing a very fancy art style for this one, so the script has been complete for almost a year but the art is taking a while to finish. I expect to run a campaign for it in the next couple of months, but I don't have a date set at the moment.Hanako games posted this with the final KS update for Cute Bite. Sounds interesting to me so I will most likely be backing that too. Glad to see the yuri stream isn't drying up any time soon.
Any expectations of Yuri in Tales of Arise, I heard the big shield knight is canonically a lesbian in one of the spoilers?
Finished replaying The Expression Amrilato and started Distant Memorajo and I'm a little confused if the true end of Amrilato is what Memorajo continues from. Memorajo is starting out with Rin having chosen to stay which isn't how the true end played out. Is it not following the true end or is this just a trick of the story that will be revealed later?
>>3533582Is that not the true end?
>>3533570Applies to Vesperia in more than one way, but the game sucks. Well, the series.
>>3533659I thought the true end was when they both end up in real-Japan together.
>>3533669>She has forgot Tales of Zestaria has a canon lesbian couple in the game and anime. C'mon girl are you serious?
>>3533552That sounds like /v/ shitposting to me.
>>3533691Well what do you know, there's an exact thread about it over there as we speak. That's probably this guy's "source".
>>3531619>this game is being bashed because it doesn't support poly or non-binariesIt's good that it doesn't support those things.
>>3533582Memorajo continues not from the true end where they go to Rin's Japan together, but from the ending where she decides to ignore the gate and stay in the pink world. There's no trick in the story or anything.
>>3533779Yes onee-san it is canon.
>>3533767Why did they call it a true end then? Really strange but I never did like the true end anyway, Rin not choosing to kiss Ruka and having indecisiveness lead her to the gate always felt unfulfilling. The canon ending being the one with the kiss is much better because she didn't even waver when the choice of leaving Ruka would normally be presented to the player.
We interrupt nothing to bring you this one slight spoiler for one or two specific paths in WotR
>>3533891Is this that pathfinder game? Is it any good? Will my choices matter?
>>3533902Buggy mess currently. A good sight better than Kingmaker's release but still bugs a plenty. It's also been a week, ask again next week unless you wanna wade into it solely for bells and whistles.Look higher up in the thread, it's been talked about.
>>3533903so what dnd kinda game is good atm?
>>3533910Kingmaker is fun af, Pillars but its really boring and Divinity Original Sin 2, but i'm like not a big fan of its setting.
>>3533910(modded) Kingmaker's probably your best bet if you want something close to 3.X.Pillars has the crpg feel same with Divinity OS but OS they have their own setting/stuff.
>>3533913>>3533912Kingmaker or Divinity OS? Only have time for one
>>3533922Are you looking for dnd-esque experience or a crpg?
>>3533923Good story, world and characters
>>3533924Kingmaker, modded or otherwise. It's world is solid is pf has a fleshed out world. Character's a decent and the story is decent to good depending on who you ask. I like it but I'm just one person.
>>3533924I'd say DOS2 for a small margin has more interesting characters, but Kingmaker has more interesting story and setting.
>>3533924I'd say DOS2 is a little stronger overall. Kingmaker is fun but parts of it were obviously rushed and the cracks do show in more places.
>>3533924I haven't played kingmaker yet but original sin 2 has incredibly memorable art direction, atmosphere, and music. I still randomly have music from the game stuck in my head years later, and I remember individual places and sections of the story way more strongly than any other games that I haven't played for years.
>>3533941Do you need to play the first game first?
Looking at Hella Yuri's recommendations, Sunless Sea/Skies have some yuri elements in it. Can anyone shed some further light on that? Mainly interested in Skies.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zr7hI1fmckNot my video, but someone posted the Arueshalae romance with a dyke half-orc.
>>3533982Story and relationships are extremely light, at least in the amount I played. Like, after you carry out a whole bunch of fetch quests, you might get a single line of tantalising dialog suggesting the Coral Countess finds you appealing, but it's gonna be another hour before you get the second line of dialog. If the game looks interesting to you by itself, then sure, you can play a female captain and possibly gain a relationship status before you die, but don't play it for romance alone.
I love Yaegaki Erika so much
>>3534094Best yuri protag and it's not even close.
>>3530810>that being the two Wedding Dresses on the opposite sides of the top floor of the Metropolitan Office. Also at the upper jail tower in MS2 so that you can have them in both games. When I found the first one I thought "oh cute I'll let Little Mermaid wear this" and then I found the second one and realized some true yuri connoisseurs made this game.
>>3534105I'm sad the series won't have anything else and Erika either, such a waste to ler her die
>>3534107Have you played Yumeutsutsu Remaster? I swear Shimizu Hatsumi is trying their best to turn Saki into Erika, they love Erika way too much.
>>3534113Saki even said the quote that Erika often used 'A world without any sense of duty is a dark place.'
>>3534113>>3534114I'll definitely check it
>>3534113Saki route best route
>>3534106They theorize in MS1 that the Jail Tower wants there to be a happy ending and the AI of the Metropolitan Office Jail Tower helps you throughout MS2 and the epilogue of 1, so it makes sense to think it put the dresses there so that Otsuu and Little Mermaid can fulfill the happy ending to the fairytales of The Crane's Return of a Favor/The Little Mermaid/Tanabata they represent. The invasive alien plant that turned Tokyo into a hellish landscape is a yurifag.
>>3533982I don't even want it to be super explicit. Just a main character who isn't paired with a dude.
>>3534289>Just a main character who isn't paired with a dude.Do you have the slightest idea what kind of games those are?If you're worried that there might be a 'main character' in some kind of canon romance I feel like you don't even know what genre you're looking at.
>>3533831Finished both parts of Distant Memorajo. I preferred the 1st chapter's alternate ending where Rin gets taiyaki and shouts her love on her way home, but then it ended abruptly before seeing them make up. Wish that path was as long as the main ending. The main ending being the one where Rin has to make all the stupid choices was annoying but the end was nice so it made up for it. The 2nd chapter is definitely where the game shines though, too wonderful, worth the price of admission on its own. 8yo Ruka is damn cute, even her tantrums were adorable. Rei's story was bittersweet, very happy she gets to be happy watching over her two gay daughters in a pseudo-incestual family. The true end of the main game would have sucked so much for Rei and was one of the other reasons I never liked it. I don't care if its wish fulfillment, I want them to make a 3rd game where Rei gets to find her own love so she doesn't pine away forever. The new op and ed for memorajo were fantastic, too bad they didn't remix the OST to match the new mood it sets.
>>3533954Is the first game any good?
>>3534309It's okay in the first half and then immediately falls apart in the last two acts.
>>3533982Only played Skies myself, there's very little. You don't even get to actually pick a gender for your captain, so the game never acknowledges it. A few romance options among your officers, but all of those are male. You can fuck a female... partial skeleton at some point. Your "old friend" in the Truth ambition is female, so one of its endings is fairly "goggleable", but it's up to you to headcanon what happens after the game ends.
>>3534410> partial skeleton Full skeleton or bust
For the anon who cared about the Eldritch Academy art upgrade, there's an announcement: https://steamcommunity.com/games/1032580/announcements/detail/2947032120585778325
Is "Death end re;Quest 2" yuri?
>>3534755Kinda. Main couple flirts a lot and move in together at the end but doesn't really go explicit. Some explicit side couples.
Is there any game where I can play a girl that kisses other girls?
>>3534812the game of life
Is Arcaea (the rhythm game) yuri? If so is it playable offline?
>>3534819>character creation is completely randomized at the start>no rerollsShit game.
>>3534824I meant the boardgame
>>3533570Yeah... looking at some of the gameplay of the new one makes me wish we had big budget yuri game like it.
Why hasn't /u/ fall in love with Kisara as of late?
>>3534828Is she any bit gay?
>>3534832She's pretty gay from what /v/ is taking about but they ain't saying much.
>>3534833If anyone here can confirm, I'll buy the game.
>>3534094I love Erika and her girlfriend like you wouldn't believe.
>>3534836I heard in the ending that Kisara was married but left it being unknown. It's pretty hinted that she married a female companion from what /v/ and others are talking about.
>>3534841>It's pretty hinted that she married a female companionI'd be very skeptical of that happening in even a niche /u/ friendly series, let alone a franchise game.
>>3534833>/v/ is talking aboutThat could stem from anything knowing them. Like someone lieing or someone hating her cause they're hetshit and think being a lesbian wouldn't make her better
>>3534841Probably should wait for real proof instead of relying on hearsay from /v/ of all things.
>>3534867She may die, but rock 'n' roll will never die.
>>3534851No one knows the ending for sure since every Tales game is approx 50 hours at best. Also Kisara is married to the Brown good looking dude, so yeah don't buy it.
>>3534875https://twitter.com/canon_macaron/status/1350374772446691331I tried cleaning it by myself so that's the previous pic.
>>3534955Pretty nice nice job anon
>>3534755The main characters become a couple by the end of the game, however no kisses are given.I highly recommend you to play the first game though, otherwise, a lot of characters and themes will fly past your head. Somehow I enjoyed DERQ1 a lot despite only having fanservice yuri, I guess the characters and edgy plot carried it.
Name my court /u/
>>3535011>posting GreyborCome now anon.Sappho's court.
>>3534295I definitely agree that the second story was the stronger part. I really loved the extra worldbuilding that it contained, too. The voiceacting in both games was really exceptional but I thought that Sarah Emi Bridcutt really knocked it out of the park as Rei. She really does deserve her own story.
>>3535178Made me realize I want to see more comfy mommy yuri being used in a story. Nothing else quite like it. Also feel the need to call out Mai for being a bitch wanting to go back to her boring straight blue sky world instead of staying with an ideal gf. Missed out on the chance of a lifetime to be a lesbian mom duo raising two gay daughters. Even made Kanako a bit of a cunt by proxy, go figure. Mai redemption arc would be a good selling point for the sequel, she'd have her work cut out to earn it.
>>3534969The lack of yuri on DERQ1 is sad but still, the first game had the chance of being one of my fav examples of meta-fiction rpg ever, if they fleshed out the second half more, everything after feels half-assed and poorly explained, the lack of proper build-up for the grand reveal was the worst part, we only get some extremely vague "clues".No kisses on the second game the main couple is pretty much confirmated and the plot is a little better written this time
How is that new Life is Strange game, I heard 1 was kinda /u/ but 2 was /y/ so...
>>3535221Judging by the last two games, I’m fairly sure the new one will feature romance between two non-gendered robots with no anthropoid features.
>>3535266I saw a screenshot of what looked like two women kissing. I dunno if they're presented in-game as you describe, but /u/ really only cares about appearances.
>>3535290They were actually pixels on your screen anon, I'm sorry to tell you.
>>3535218But they didn't know at that time that a gate would only allow the person who came from that world to go through. Mai wanted to go live in her original world together with Rei, but when Rei passed through the gate, she woke up back in the hospital in the pink world again and learned that no one had seen Mai in the two weeks since she went through the gate. If you replay the part in Kotonoha Amrilato where Rei is wearing her mourning clothes and talking to Rin at the coffee shop, her Person A/Miss B story makes a lot more sense when you realize she's talking about herself and Mai. Juliamo lore is deep.
>>3535266If you actually played them you'd know at least the first and BTS aren't tumblery at all, unless you get triggered by negative male portrayals
>>3535353Oh I know, it's very obvious that Rei is talking about herself in the 1st game, and Kanako fills in even more of the overarching backstory in her juliamo confession during the sleepover. There's a lot of behind the scenes family dynamic stuff in this game. Rei's initial accident was about something with her family, Mai leaves Kanako's family causing Kanako to become resentful of visitors, etc. The story really went out of its way to make Mai the direct/indirect cause of many conflicts in the game, but she is also the reason that Rei seeks out Ruka with so much determination, so maybe her tragic actions were not a total loss. I think it would be compelling if she realizes it was a mistake to leave and devoted her time to find a way back to Rei. That would be a cool way to turn a tragic story into a sweeping 3 game romance. Even if there was a 3rd game I doubt they would handle it that way though.
Anyone following ヘブンバーンズレッド/Heaven Burns Red? A new mobile game in development, a really high-budget one with nice 3d models. The setting is similar to Assault Lily and it seems doesn't have any self-insert.
>>3535817>high budget>no self insertI doubt it
>>3535817I only follow two mobile game series because they're yuri-friendly and one of them got canned, so I'm a lot more wary of these "multimedia" franchises now.Unless one comes out swinging with explicit yuri right off the bat I probably won't get invested in another.
>>3535817>jun maedaYeah I wouldn't get my hopes up for this
>>3535821Yeah, all of Key's works so far are all het. Though I did remember reading an article where Maeda wrote something gay once but I didn't look further into it.
>>3535823It's an Yuri/LGBT Novel Maeda did after he screwed up his anime original project. I hear the reviews says pretty great LN to read.
>>3535824>after he screwed up his anime original projectKamisama ni Natta Hi? So it's a very recent novel?
>>3535826Different anon but I just did some googling myself and it looks like it's 猫狩り族の長 that came out in May this year. Doesn't look like it sold itself as an lgbt or yuri work but reviews are saying the ending can be read that way. It's undoubtedly a female protag work with the focus being a relationship between two women unlike Maeda's usual stuff at least.
>>3535833That's cool, it's always nice seeing writers branch out even though I find most of his stuff to be overdramatic to the point of inducing apathy.
>>3535818This doesn't look like a game with a self-insert.https://youtu.be/bfHuK4x3qYE?t=6111
>>3535836Same here, but I can't deny I would be mildly more enthusiastic about his melodrama if it was gay.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1398710/Fairy_Glade/Well that's a mild surprise. On the one hand it's Dharker. On the other hand, it's not just the same fucking character/setting being reused for the thousandth time.
>>3536323Still don't care, it's only a matter of time, don't promote their shit.
>>3535824Pretty sure it’s regular novel, not LN
>>3535858Always be wary, many japanese media like games anime/manga they tend to show the girls only first and hide the self insert until the last minute, i'm not saying this will 100% happen with this but always keep your expectations low.
>>3536323People don't hate Dharker because the games are shit, people hate them because they've got a long history of kickstarter scams and other shady shit.
>>3536339I'd say that the main reason is that shortly after releasing a yuri game they release a het spinoff where the yuri characters have sex with men.Every fucking time.
>>3536350>Every fucking timewasn't it more like once?
>>3536335>Always be wary, many japanese media like games anime/manga they tend to show the girls only first and hide the self insert until the last minute,When was the last time it happened? Cross Ange?
>>3536355I remember Negligee, the sci-fi one and one other het harem game that had a previously appeared lesbian character as romanceable. After that I stopped following their releases, but by the frequent angry posts here I seem to remember at least another one.
>>3536358The Idolmaster anime, hell it was assumed Ritsuko was going to be in the producer role up until the end of the first episode when "Surprise! Male producer was holding the camera the whole time!" As for games, I think Compile Heart is the biggest culprit there. There was that Omega Quintet game where the male protagonist wasn't revealed until like, the week before release. I remember even people who usually like that shit said he was insufferable
>>3536450Not that I’ve ever paid much attention to Compile Heart games, but the one gaming news site I still follow always has articles on their games, so I sorta remembered the OQ protag showing up in promotional material significantly earlier than you’re suggesting and did a search. Siliconera’s first article on the game was May 6, 2014, their first article with the protagonist shown was July 10, and the game released Oct 2.To be fair, it seems like the first info dump in Famitsu made it sound like the protagonist would be one of the girls, but people interested in the game had nearly three out of the five months between announcement and release to notice the male.
https://www.gematsu.com/2021/09/atelier-sophie-2-the-alchemist-of-the-mysterious-dream-rated-in-australiaLydie & Suelle got pretty gay so this might follow suit.
>>3536744This is such a weird move. I don't know what to expect because if it takes place after L&S Sophie'd be pushing 30 and a female protag that old is rare in general let alone for Gust. I guess that it taking place before L&S and along the same timeframe as the latter two games is most likely, but that'd mean we're seeing some of the same stuff again including the end of Plachta's arc.
>>3536771>Sophie'd be pushing 30so?
>>3536772Have you forgotten?
>>3536778I'd be interested, finally something else than the standard early 20 or younger protagonist
>>3536779I would like it too but I do not expect it to happen.
>>3536323>Dharker game>it's not an asset flip
>>3536785Give them time they might flip these new sprites later too

>>3538378Super cute. After chapter 1 I was expecting it to just be onesided and would've been fine with that since I'm not here for romance, but there being clear interest from Susie makes me so happy. All their scenes were adorable. Great chapter overall and that part just made it even better.
>>3538389I Can't Believe I Got Knocked Down to a Pit and Now I Am the Leader of the Crusaders?!
>>3538403A more /u/ title that can entice people would be something like>A Succubus, Female Spider and The Queen Are After My Genes Even Though I'm A Girl?!
>>3538403Can't find anything under that title.
>>3538378I assume we can't post any art due to the rules, but the Noelle/Susie scene were really cute. I hope Noelle is a permanent party member in the other chapters, cause what was revealed of her family and backstory this time around was real interesting
>>3538660Can't believe you're serious
>>3538378Is the protagonist a dude?
>>3538738It's intentionally ambiguous. They have an androgynous name and are never referred to with gendered pronouns. It's probably supposed to be (You).
>>3538738They're a ba
>>3538745How is Chris an ambiguous name? I've never met any girl named Chris
>>3538745All the fanart makes it a dude though sadly for some reason
>>3538747You've never met a Christine or Christina?
>>3538747First of all it's Kris and second of all there are indeed girls called Chris.
>>3538747I have literally two different neighbors named Chris. And it's also Kris.
>>3538750I feel like Kris is even worse, Kris Evans, Kris De Bruyne, Kris Peeters, all men
>>3538753>Kris EvansIs this a bit?
>>3538753>I'm pretending to be retardedDamn
>>3538745That's even worse.
How the heck do you manage to avoid learning anything about Undertale all these years to the point of not knowing about the meta stuff involving the player character.
>>3538799Because deltarune isn't undertale, for one.
>>3538801It's very much similar stuff going on both with the player character and other areas.
>>3538747I am suddenly reminded of the time in highschool when I needed to introduce a friend of mine to the couple Chris(f) and Aaron(m), except she thought she heard Chris(m) and Erin(f) and was quite confused when they finally met.'Robin' is worse as it's almost entirely female in the US as far as I know but male elsewhere.
>>3538814And then there are those poor few men named Ashley, which before a century or so ago was an exclusively male name.Names are weird.
>>3538819We should bring back names like Gaylord (Gaylady?) and Reginald.
>>3538831Anon, what do you think Reggie is short for?
>>3538378>Noelle gets to be a party member, reveal her backstory with Kris, and have a whole date scene with Susie, both seem pretty into each other>Her troubles with her parents look to be a center focus in the coming chapters>it was also just datamined that by fulfilling certain conditions you can get Noelle to kill enemies (including one of your other classmates) turning the "Your choices don't matter" aspect of Chapter 1 as you're essentially getting her to commit murder on your behalf really hope Toby doesn't take another two years for the next release
>>3538850But if these two are coupled up, who's left for me to ship Kris with?
>>3538747You do know Chris is just a shortened form, right? Christoper or Christian for male, Christine or Christina for female
>>3538853the queen is pretty rockingand genocide route-Noelle has a lot of mindbreak involved, so girl Kris/Noelle is still on the table
>>3538856Do they have any interactions?
>>3538863The Queen is constantly trying to get Kris and Noelle on her side, and pursues them throughout chapter 2. It's not really explained why she wanted Noelle explicitly (aside from allusions to Noelle's controlling and emotionally abusive mom and her revealed power in the Genocide route)she is also a g*mer and plays a game with Kris during Chapter 2
>>3538865Please don't use the hard r in the future, even if you are censoring that word.
I'm currently re-playing Kenshi but this time I had in mind to build a wasteland slaver yuritopia. At first I considered slaving moids but that's too disgusting, any moid I capture/joins will be sold and I will keep naked enslaved girls plowing the cotton and rice fields. The start was rough and my bonedog companion died but I managed to hire a bunch of girls to start. I'm still unsure if I want a small, well-trained team spreading the word of yuri around the world with their swords or a full blown city with 256 women under my control (plus slaves), but my medium-term goal is to destroy the Holy Nation's capital to teach those misogynistic Okrancucks a lesson and have their territory culturally enriched by Sheks.Unfortunately my outpost is in a god damn Beak Thing and Crab spawn area and my girls are getting rekt when farming but I think I can manage, there is no other place with water in this fucking desert.
>>3538833Regis? Regan? Regina? Regula?...I’m actually pretty surprised I found more female names I could conceive modern people actually having that start with Reg than male names.
>>3538819Do they all have a chainsaw for a hand?
New thread needed soon, what's news?

>>3539144No one cares about Anon.
>>3539140Your ancestor was gay.
So is Kenshi any good?
>>3539144>heFortunately I'm not a moid.>>3539147I would say so if you can bear completely fucking up your first runs and dying within 5 minutes because you know nothing about the game. I think it's very entertaining until you get to the point where you can just fight anything you encounter. In my last game I had like 4 characters with stats in their 90's and 80's and could survive pretty much anything with only those 4, but it took me several months of playing to get on that level and starting a new game is usually still fun.
