Reposting here too for those interested.Done watching Olivia too and yooooooo what a ride it was. This was THE gay one of the three movies. Damn Ms Julie is one thirsty cougar, she is a damned predator and no one near her is safe; not that the other girls are less mind you but she is on another plane of existence altogether.Olivia is not as charismatic as Manuela IMO, but I think it's functional to the story.Poor Cara was misunderstood and kinda did nothing wrong. Her scene with the two girls at the start was funny as hell as it reminded me of Twitch thots and their simps. The math teacher is the MVP honestly, how does she eat so much and stays so thin is beyond me.Anyway the story is quite different in the details. The gist of it is the same : girl joins school, she's hot for the teacher, shit hits the fan,???,profit. Here the school doesn't play as much of a role as in Madchen, the headmistress is a background character really and it seems to me that everyone knows what is going on and doesn't give a single fuck about it, Julie dives on the neck of a girl like a starving vampirein front of everyone during the Christmas party and no one bats an eye ffs. This is hinted at quite clearly at the start when it's shown the girls are allowed to play and go anywhere they want and by the dresses they wear that are the opposite of the austere and functional one in Madchen. The focus is more on the characters and their dynamics but I don't know how to expand on that without spoilering everything. The only complain I have is for the subtitles that could be more precise, I don't speak French per se but I can hear that there are some things missing. I think I will have to watch this again to fully grasp the details and implications of it all. This is definetly a watch for me, I have been more exited at these three movies than 90% of all the /u/ movies I've watched.>>3587412Holy shit, finally the lesbian nuns are here.

JFC am I fucking disappointed after watching Benedetta. Not enough sex nor politics, and the finale was Hollywood tier of exaggerated. I would've preferred a more realistic depiction of the events but the director did Showgirls too so yeah. Dude should just direct lesbian porn though because the sex scene was pretty hot.>>3587695As the other sis said it's on rutracker, but I know you are all a bunch of lazy bitches so https://anonymshare.com/RWWA/lazy-bitches.torrent
>>3587849Ah also forgot to mention that the subtitles for Benedetta are quite trash and chockfull of errors, mom and dad instead of mother and father, 'lady' when se clearly says 'give me that', he instead of she and so many others.
>>3587412>lesbian nunsI can't believe we still don't have a decent movie adaptation of Julie'd Aubigny's life

i remember seeing a webm of some movie scene where two girls (one was asian one was white) were kissing in a jacuzzi or a pool. and the white girls dad seeing them kissing and they freak out. for the life of me i cant find the movie. does anyone know what im talking about?

>>3587412>Sinful nuns editionLa Religieuse was better. You have convent based on class. No one goes there willingly. Lets be honest about this. The poorest convents were hell on earth and ruled by strict laws no less different than prisons, the upper ones were simply golden cages to noblewomen whose parents didn't want them pregnant with child to avoid any inheritance problems towards their eldest son. I've read a lot of books about it. Convents in Spain and Portugal boomed with this to a point where even nuns pleased the king himself. Mostly between the XVI to XIX century. I give the example of Mother Paula a nun whose convent was a meeting place for nobility to part. She was John's the V mistress, King of Portugal of the time. Sure the common name of the institutions may be different than "convent" there, since monastaries were more common, but the main purpose was still the same. We have Benedetta Carlini of Italy that had lesbian affairs and the worst they got was a penance or simply the "excuse" that the devil possesed them.
>>3587891She's too based. Plus there's no religion bashing so it doesn't attract interest. These lesbian nun movies are mostly made to either be erotic or simply to bash the church "see what they do behind closed doors!" type of bashing.
>>3588433>steals gf from a nunnery and burns the place down>no religion bashing
>>3588437Makes the church look like the victim of a deranged psycho.
>>3588440Not once you realise her gf was basically imprisoned
>>3588433>to bash the church "see what they do behind closed doors!" type of bashingThat makes them look better?
Frankly, if it weren't for them, many girls and women would have perished inside convents. Having someone interested in you and give you love and confort is probably the most humane thing one could do inside those places. Most of them were outcasts or their families didn't want them. Nuns often did the good cop bad cop vibe to keep the girls in check too.
To the anon that posted about The Light Touch, thank you. It is hysterically hilarious, the campy dialogue, the over the top acting, the mismatched protagonists, the people turning to look at the camera, the wierd ass twist at the end, it all combines to create this masterpiece. This was a next to zero budget movie, believe me because I used to edit stuff like this.Loved the random kitties you can spot here and there during the movie. I'm a bit disappointed at the finale no kiss, and the length, they could've cut some stuff and made the pace better. Can we call this the 'The Room' of lesbian cinematography?
>>3588027>Considering they had to tone it down, some whiners on fucking /u/ out of all places, still complain about it.Yeah, really the last place I ever expected to see that sentiment.

And when she was in high school, and her junior Tingting (Cheng Yuxi) started a young but ambiguous same-sex close friendship period. But the fandom seems like it’ll thrive so look to fic to provide what canon will not. Personally, it’s too bad that this is the Yelena ship that’ll be popular, I can’t even rely on fandom to get my fix.
>>3595016I mean, MCU Valkyrie is supposedly bi and it will be relevant in the next Thor (which would mean a female love interest of some kind).
>>3595036What does supposedly bi mean? Is it in canon? Word of God? Loki and Sylvie are bi but that still ended with het.
>>3595043Both I guess? Tessa Thomspon, the woman who plays her, really loved the panel in pic related, and wanted to make sure Valkyrie also liking girls was part of the MCU iteration. So she went to Waititi and talked to him about it and he was totally cool with it, but they didn't want it to be like a "HEY LOOK, SHE'S GAY" sort of thing so it was kept largely subtext in Ragnarok. Like there's a particular Valkyrie in the scene where Hela slaughters them all where one Valkyrie is obviously closer/more important to surviving Valkyrie, which Tessa acted from the perspective of said woman being her lover and in the original cut of the movie, there was a brief shot in one of the scenes they'd filmed that had a woman walking out of Valkyrie's room and the implications there in, which Waititi supposedly kept in for as long as he could but ultimately cut "because it distracted from the scene's vital exposition".Kevin Feige (president of Marvel) a couple years ago Word of God confirmed that the MCU iteration was bisexual, and when asked if the next movie (Love and Thunder) would involve a "queer storyline" said "the answer is yes".
>>3594975Kek based captcha
>>3595069Hmm, ok, so that’s not as bad as I’d thought. Though it is hilarious that Feige said that years ago and then when Endgame came out, the Russos were patting themselves on the back so hard for that very minor gay character that one of them played.

>>3595069I think it's because Hollywood in general is getting wise to the shenanigans that China in particular pulls with ticket sales. It's been documented that that when a ticket for example Black Widow is purchased in the till itself the sale is credited to whatever patriotic movie the Ministry of Culture is putting out, so the sales look good for them. It's getting really close to where the Mouse may decide "Fuck it; let's put in ALL THE LGBTQ2+!" Especially since the most popular dramas have loads of gay subtext. It's not blatant, and even with subtext they still run afoul of the censors, but it's shifting.

>>3596965Hawkeye did not have a lesbian couple, it had a cop who talked about her wife embroidering a bag for her in one scene. Hilariously, I haven’t seen anyone discuss that because everyone is too busy talking about Kate and Yelena being “enemies to lovers, slowburn” because of Kate not shooting her paralleling Clint not shooting Natasha.

So it seems in Gray Anatomy newest season they decided to make a bisexual out of Amelia Shepard and pair her up with some other doctor woman too.
>>3601097Yes and no because Grey's Anatomy has always been woke and this new love interest is non binary. Some fans have been busy this season policing and scolding other fans when they say that Dr. Kai is a woman, they're annoying af. >>3602994Hearty recommendation to watch this. I'm impressed at how perfectly executed this ended up being, so much so that I can't believe this came from lifetime of all places. I knew this was going to be a good time after the first five minutes has the MC getting hand fed a macaron while wearing flannel then immediately spilling her gay spaghetti in front of her crush. The whole movie was funny and comfy, the brief drama arc isn't a huge overblown event, and all the characters are adults who are reasonable except for the villain character who is still a normal adult, but just happens to also be a bitch. Supportive parents and the fact that being gay was treated normally were huge highlights for his movie and definitely makes it feel like one of a kind in /u/ live action. Elise Bauman's hair threw me off and I didn't realize that was the same actress that was in Camilla web series, she must be enjoying playing a lesbian. I hope lifetime starts making a series of lesbian holiday movies for every season to fill the massive void that /u/ has for comfy movies.

Was bored and tired one day, not expecting much except to pass the time, and now I'm already certain that I'll revisit it next Christmas I'd pick pleasant lesbians flirting over Christmas instead of watching the terrible characters in Happiest Season anguish over their poor decisions just because kstew is hotter. If you immediately turn your nose up at an inoffensive movie about happy lesbians then I find it hard to believe you actually will watch almost anything for the /u/.
>>3605097>an inoffensive movie about happy lesbians"Inoffensive" is not exactly how I'd describe my previous experience with Lifetime originals. They're generally more like "offensively bland". I'm not asking for every movie to be The Handmaiden, but a little artistry and craft wouldn't go amiss. Instead Lifetime originals are more like raw tofu, so bland it's actually worse than something that is outright bad.

The Novice (about a college rower) has the MC in a lesbian couple. It practically opens with one totally unnecessary het sex scene though. Since you people are so good at finding classic movies, anyone have this somewhere?https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058326/
>>3605670I decided to watch Happiest Season again today and I did enjoy it a lot as a /u/ movie and as a christmas movie, but I did so despite how terrible Harper is. Luckily Abby is an excellent character that I loved to root for and John and Riley were phenomenal as the supporting gays even though it is sad that they were more enjoyably written than Harper and her drama. Also now I definitely agree Riley was making a movie on Abby by switching to her side of the booth during the bar song and I hate myself for wishing that was how the movie went instead. My biggest peeve is that Sloan was the sole reason that the movie ended well. If she didn't violently, irreversibly out Harper in public then she probably never would have done it herself and it takes something away from the ending for me. I don't feel like someone being backed into a corner with no options is a good place to show that she can redeem herself. I just can't get over how Harper ditched Abby and was terrible to her at every opportunity and then after Harper's life is at the verge of ruin she crawls back and says baby I can do better and then everyone is happy. I really just blame the writers on all of this though, they shoveled so much shit on harper's plate to make the angst tastier and I get it, but I just can't look past it.

>>3606126All that you mention bothers you gets a pass when you realize the whole movie is a normal person's shot at making a Hallmark lesbian christmas film.
Any one watch a movie called Perfect Ending on Netflix? Sound like it might be good.
>>3602994The two women had good chemistry, and the movie wasn't afraid to say "lesbian" or "queer", but it was still pretty much a basic-cable Christmas movie with the paint-by-numbers plot.
>>3607575I've seen it a long time ago. Despise the title, it has a bad ending. If I remember correctly the older woman has a disease and dies by the end.
>>3605490I loved it. I went in completely blind so it was my pleasant surprise of the year. haven't been so excited by an ending since whiplash.
>>3596519I watched it because of your comment. Was a little bumpy to get through the earlier teen melodrama tier drama and there was absolutely nothing before ep 6 at all to give a hint who the lesbian would be. Finding out was a surprise and made the best thing about the show a little better, but it would have been more motivating to know it was going to be Moraine all along. Also Moraine's relationship with the seat lady seems like it is going to be a tragic one, which sounds like a demotivator, especially if the quality of the rest of the story doesn't get better since she's basically one of the only interesting characters right now
>>3608107Well Wheel of Time is a complete series for one and it's not edgy grimdark shit so if it was going to be tragic it'd be more clearly foreshadowed. You could always look at book spoilers/wiki page if you want assurance but, as you probably picked up, named things in the series might not be completely indicative of when things happen.
Wow, makeup, hair products, and mobile phone ads in China are really gay.https://twitter.com/DouQi7s/status/1392930843245617159
>>3608938woah nice. China's putting out some good content these days, even though everyone keeps saying its a death sentence.
>>3608938They're just good friends. GOOD friends.
>>3608938Naisu. Now I really want to go find a new Chinese, yuri, transmigration or palace fighting novel to read.
>>3608938>>3609145It's unironically just class S tier shit.
>>3589821Then you shouldn't look for it in religious institutions.
Is there any series in the level of L word ?
>>3608938I cry every time.
Anyone watch the movie The Neon Demon? Looks like it may have girl+girl.
>>3609937It does but beware it's a twisted Refn movie. It's actually amazing and one of my favourite movies but it may unpleasant to some.Give it a try anyways.
>>3609857I MTL'd a lot of stuff off Shubaow and similar sites, and I don't remember what any of those are called. Have you read everything on NU that appealed to you already?
>>3609937Its shit, only watch it if you are a kinoman or want to see Keanu play a creep.
>>3609937I mean, the lesbian does.... win?
>>3609937There seem to be a couple of different movies/series that look similar with ballerina/dancers/actresses that seem to have some sort if lesbianism in them. Any of those anyone here recommends?
>>3609937Well, it definitely takes "eating a girl" to the next level.
>>3610062On that topic there seem to be a few lesbian looking vampire movies/series on some of the streaming services. Anyone seen one/some you'd recommend?
>>3608938So after all these years, we finally understand what Kaorin meant by this.
>>3605898They really fumbled the last 15 minutes but the whole beginning was the standard half-decent emotional suffering porn you see a lot of
Just finished pic related. Overall the story is pretty stupid and the acting is Japanese cringefest but the girls are cute. What are some more J Dramas like this?
>>3605162Making her a blue haired girl was too on the nose so I guessed that was its intention from the start. Her and the punk were definitely a couple, they both called out dramatically for each other and ran to help during fights and were hanging off each other at the end.>>3605335Niobe was het and the hug was reminding me of the scenes where her sister-in-law was with her so I read it as old lady gal pals over her being suddenly bi, but who knows. It wasn't as clearcut as undulating foreground lesbians twisting nipples like in the originals in either case.
>>3587488Edgy dyke detected. Be careful with that edge, you might hurt someone with it.
>>3587412I watched the trailer on youtube. Sorry, OP, but that is a hard pass from me. I prefer my yuri to be light and fluffy. I want cute girls doing cute things and making slow, gentle love to eachother. And for some fucking reason live action yuri tends to make lesbians depraved, violent monsters with years of trauma baggage.Really, can we just have a "I just like girls" moment without the "my uncle raped me" moment. Its a really fucking simple request, yet live action film makers can't understand it.
>>3588431Thanks for posting the historical perspective on the matter. Yeah, the medieval age was fucked. I'm certain that 300 years from now, our descendants will say our time was fucked too. and so on, ad nauseum.
>>3595016Disney has to keep their eye on the chinese market which bans gay shit en masse. Apparently, totalitarian dictatorships are...bad or something.
>>3611441Or plenty of countries in the world. At this point the Chiba bit is just a convenient excuse
>>3611089Not necessarily, we might be livin at the best time and it’s only downhill from here
Just saw this, it wasn't bad. Vanessa Kirby is just lovely so I forgive the het crap. Beautiful scenery also. Solid 6.8/10
Currently watching "Kill for me" movie. Its had a couple of good lesbian scenes so far.
>>3614056Imdb synopsis sounds like the main girl will end up with her friend Mark.
>>3608938The queer subtext is being pushed by popularity. Despite all the restrictions and demands that hetero relationships be shown, BL and to a lesser extent GL content is hot in China. It was inevitable.
>>3614720that didn't happen
>>3615460No. Looks pretty old, though.
>>3615460>Description: A gang of four lesbian inmates escapes from prison and kidnaps the boyfriend of a wealthy woman. She hires a tough private eye to find her boyfriend and rescue him.>Screenshots show multiple scenes of a guy with multiple women and guy wearing women's underwear and pantyhose. That's a nope for /u/.
>>3615797That's a shame.
>>3588431>La Religieuse was better.but is it gay?
>>3616314Fear Street pt.3 but horror, it also gives some The World to Come vibes with the minimalistic atmospheric music. Drama, bad end maybe and possibly no sex scene... sing me up sis, I love to suffer.
>>3616337I was getting the impression that this spoiled a lot of twists, specifically that the movie is going to be about lesbians being believed to be evil by their puritan community, but oh its so sweet and wholesome it can't be true, but then the twist is she actually is possessed by satan and kills everyone or something. Anyway the trailer was well produced and I look forward to reading spoilers about the ending when it comes out and never actually watching it because it will probably be shit for some reason or another.
>>3616643>spoilersI would laff myself to death if it's a movie about a puritanical self-fulfilling prophecy with a good-end for the lesbians.
Look's like The 13th Doctor's current female companion (Yaz) is in love with her.Of course, this happens 3 episodes before the 13th Doctor is going to regenerate.
>>3616879No one cares what you feel. Also, if you're gonna be rude, the women would be "dykes", not "faggots", because, you know... they're female.

Saw recent presentation of Netflix new shows and continuations for this year and there's basically nothing lesbian related in them, one lousy female in Sky Rojo who is a lesbian but also a prostitute who fucks guys and that one lesbian girl maybe in Stranger Things season 4.Netflix for their rumored love of LGBT stuff doesn't really creates much shows with such content anymore, maybe they are afraid to lose China market.
>>3617087oh they do, they just don't care about the l
>>3617087Lesbian heavier programming just doesn’t seem to command the viewer numbers pretty boys do. I’m still pissed they cancelled ‘I am not okay with this’. It was the first Netflix original I’d been excited by in ages.
>>3617087Robin in ST is going to be so minor in seaon 4 that they probably won't have time to fuck it up, and therefore it is probably the only thing that will come out of netflix live action /u/ worth seeing this year.>>3617090What a crying shame that they canned the series that would have the MC sleeping with the guy instead of the girl and also killing herself.
>>3617159Oh is that what happens in the comic book? No loss then I guess.
There's also that lesbian blonde cop in Snowpiercer future season 3 but seeing how many of the cast it shuffles with killings who knows if she will survive, also the daughter of Melanie seems to be into girls so maybe that too will go somewhere next season.Basically lesbian scraps for us this year.
>>3617090I'm still pissed they cancelled Teenage Bounty Hunters
>>3617090There is no reason to give money to Netflix. They had a net negative influence on society and contribute nothing positive.
>>3617450You have a net negative influence on society and contribute nothing positive
>>3617450>implying I pay for Netflix
>>3617496yes but it's bad only when corporations do it
>>3617090> doesn’t seem to command the viewer numbers pretty boys do. There's your problem, fags have pretty boys and hot studs. Most of the time we get uggos.
>>3617658Hence the use of 'most of the time'

>>3617723What Netflix project was Kstew in?
>>3617725I thought Happiest Season was, but apparently I was wrong.
i just finished watching season 1 of the wilds. I like Mia Healey as a lesbian, and its cool to read that she's actually into girls. I fear season 2 with the given that boys have been introduced. I hope that part of the story is over and done away with quickly. I don't understand why they'd have boys given what the entire social project was supposed to be about. It makes zero sense and is counter productive to what the head researcher is trying to achieve.
>>3617815couldn't figure how to rip the picture off this stupid website. https://www.instagram.com/p/COuOoR6NFz1/
>>3617815On a meta level, it makes zero sense to introduce so many male main cast in a show that was promoted for the all female cast
So Level 16. I liked it, same premise as Martyrs but 1000% less traumatic. You do need to put the goggles on turbo mode but it's worth a watch.Bumblefuck,USA on the other hand had me skipping through the last third of the movie and I watched the previous parts while doing something else. Het sex, attempted het rape, non attractive protagonists and shit sex scene, the only thing missing is death but I guess they cover that in the beginning. Big ass skip for me on this one.
>>3618198>You do need to put the goggles on turbo mode>it's worth a watch.Pick one.
>>3617899Definitely the cutest tv couple we got in 2020
>>3618230One doesn't exclude the other. A movie with little /u/ can be good and a fully /u/ one can be bad. They hold hands in the end so there's that.
>>3618198Martyrs is one of my favorite films.
>>3616314Love me some Isabelle Furhman. She was so hot in Orphan.
>>3618343She was the only good thing about that movie.

The new Scream has a lesbian, it was supposed to have two and a bi but seeing what happens in the end it would have been like really homophobic lol
>>3621341how could having more be homophobic
>>3621341I don't know the context but I sure hope you aren't one of those idiots who thinks lesbians dying is homophobic.
>>3621345>>3621354Don't read if you don't want to know who is the killer:It would have been homophobic because the one that was supposed to be bi is actually one of the killers and she is fucking the other male killer while being in a relationship with the sister of the new lead, they changed it to just friends and let the other girl, who was supposed to be an ex of the younger sister, be the lesbian of the movie...i kinda hate they decided to not make the younger sister gay because apparently she is the best character, and really cute, and the new lead girl is kinda of a flop
>>3621380I'm not gonna read that because first, is it a good movie? You recommend watching it?
>>3621341Who plays the lesbian?
>>3621382Its a Scream sequel movie...but it was actually better than what you would expect...like i'm gonna watch the next one and not only because i like the franchise.>>3621385The same girl that plays the lesbian in Yellowjackets lol, Mindy, she is Randy's niece

>>3617165>>3617159The show was already so radically different than the comic it might as well have been an original thing, that's not how it would have ended.
>>3597483I'm aware that it's supposed to come across as a contemporary teenage show, but that wasn't really my cup of tea. If you don't mind the silliness, it can be an enjoyable watch.

DEBS honestly makes no sense, she's a spy, sleeping with the enemy should have gotten her extra points
>>3623977>>3623966There's also het scenes in it so idk why you would recommend it here.
>>3623966I genuinely can’t imagine much I rather watch less. Also seriously what is with Diana Agron repeatedly getting cast as the white girl who makes Jewish girls feel inadequate. She is literally Jewish.
>>3624040She doesn't look Jewish
>>3623979Except she wasn't actually doing anything for DEBS with that, and DEBS wouldn't have even found out were it not for her getting caught. Instead, it makes her look like a traitor.

They released the first draft of the new Scream movie and yup it was gayer.I hope they do some hindsight in the next one and decide to make Tara/Mindy a thing seeing how basically most of the fandom already took that Tara and Amber where a thing as fact lol
>>3625337Amber was a psycho that stabbed Tara multiple times though. Her death scene was super funny, the way she jumped out half burned, screeching and flailing her arms around only to get shot in the head was perfect comedic timing, I had to burst out laughing. Sam and the black chick would make more sense. The movie was pretty good.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQ3Jeh2dxdk&t>木下百花 "悪い友達">Momoka Kinoshita "Bad Friend" The song and music video was nice although I have no idea what it's about. >>3628684They're not women
>>3628562Oh, that chick was in the Scream movie. What are the chances.
>>3628562Its literally a movie about friendship after one of those 'murrikan hs festivals they do every other day.Its not gay, the fucking trailer literally shows the male love interest.
>>3587412Watched Mulholland Drive. It was kinda nice, aside from the ending nonsense. It'll be nice to have a new yuri movie in my rotation alongside Carol, The Handmaiden, and Kajillionaire.
Hey what does /u/ think about the made for TV Lifetime movie Under The Christmas Tree 2021?
>>3629431You're a month late to the day anon. Did you miss all the discussion starting from >>3602994? It was nice and comfy for a plain old made for tv movie. I'd watch more /u/ movies like it if they made them.

>>3629266Laura Harring's body was fucking amazing in that movie. Very hot.
>>3629266Also that diner jumpscare was actually the only time I legit shouted while watching a movie. It was so unexpected and sudden. Caught me completely off-guard. Dammit, Lynch!
>>3629553Any bi-sluttery in that? Might look into it if not.
>>3629951One of the protagonists is the reluctant wife of a mob guy and there's one not shown het sex scene, it's more like heard, but it's not actual bisluttery.
From some new series, spin-off of How I met your Mother called How I met your Father has a lesbian asian character in her main cast of friends. But that is only one good thing about it seeing two first episodes. Also seeing first episode of Snowpiercer last season our blonde lesbian cop is still alive after timeskip, kinda bet that instead of pairing her up with Melanie's daughter they will pair her up with the black female guard with the scar.
https://twitter.com/libido_movieYorita Miyuki's Her Kiss doujin series is getting made into live action.
Should I watch pretty little liars?
