Can I just vent my thoughts here.I'm a huge lesbian media enthusiast and Caitvi is without a doubt one of my main reasons of enjoyment for Arcane. However until recently I've found myself trying to put myself in the shoes of someone who's neutral about lesbian romance or maybe even romance stories in general. I started to wonder if there is a completely platonic explanation for Caitlyn and Vi's relationship. I ended up going through every scene and I'm scared to hear my own thoughts, that their relationship could very well work out as two very close platonic friends without any romantic feelings in between. I'm scared to find out that perhaps I'm wearing "yuri goggles" way too strong which is why I interpret their relationship as romantic, when it could perfectly well be read as platonic.Am I just overthinking this? What is /u/'s thoughts on this matter? Do you think there is a scene between them that has absolutely no platonic explanation for it?

It's entirely possible there'll be no kissing, no fucking, nothing like that and they'll just express their love through gestures that are something usually found in extremely close friendship. Arcane is being written for a gigantic audience, a lot of them Asian, and many of those aren't fond of on-screen lesbian wish fulfillment and you have to prepare yourself for Vi/Cait chickening out of on-screen gratification.
