For whatever reason this franchise always strikes as more reminiscient of the Koihime Musou anime than Strike Witches be it its very large colorful cast, different interpretations of the same story and worldview through different mediums and the anime having a somewhat lighthearted tone and bathing scenes taking up more than 2/3 of the show's run.

Some of them aren't "obviously" female in their art styles and/or don't post pictures of themselves, but they have feminine typing styles in their tweets and feminine voices in their Twitter Spaces. I'm not a big fan of Takano Saku though she might be a more recognizable name for some.- Fans who got into the series because of certain cast members (Miyase Reina, the cast members with iM@S roles, the Starlight cast members, Andou Chikana, etc) have a better likelihood to be female if the cast member was popular with female fans. A useful indicator is the RTs/QRTs of their announcements related to Assault Lily.- If we count the cast members as fans (Arisawa for one comes to mind), one can see how dedicated some of them are to the entire series, outside their own characters' involvement. Mutou Shiori has been calling for more Ryuuto material for ages.- If you look closely at shots of the audience in BDs and streamed shows, there is quite a number of female audience members. Covid measures mean that people aren't allowed to cheer but when they eventually are, it will be easier to tell whether the live audiences are predominantly male or female. For what it's worth, there are also fans who couldn't attend in-person shows and events for whatever reason, such as living outside Japan.
