When you open a story chapter in YuYuYui, one of the main characters of that installment says the name of the chapter, so for example Sumi, Gin or Sonoko for WaSuYu. But for Apocrypha, there's an unidentified sixth voice line besides the ones of Masuzu, Yoshika, Hinata, Yuzuki and Fuyou. Could it be that they were already planning to add Matsuri? Is there any way to datamine which character that voice line belongs to?

They announced the end of service last month, and a lot of artists were talking and crying about it. Not sure how you missed that. And they did wrap up kirameki, although rather hastily. They also gave us some some bonus scenes for Natsume and Sekka's stories.

Any guesses for the new project? I think they might add Suzu as a proper character if it's an LN, but seeing as they annouced it as one of the first entries for the new web format it could also be a mini anime or something of the sort.

The particulars of when and how don't match, but I think the basic message that Natsume survived, met Fuu and vaguely recognized her from YuYuYui can be considered canon until proven otherwise.

Natsume's chapter shows Fuu and the others arriving at Okinawa shortly after the Sea of Fire disappeared as according to the dialogue between Natsume and the civilians, even though according to the script directions ripped from the game it's 4 years later. It doesn't work. It also ignores the fact that nothing we see in DMnS is compatible with the LNs and mobage in the first place and they're clearly different continuities, like the death timers and the girls not living in Marugame castle in the NoWaYu anime or the KuMeYus having flying boats and energy projectiles in the KuMeYu anime. I think you're giving the whole thing more thought than some of the actual writers did by now. The series has contradicted or retconned itself for new material many times, without trying to do some split timeline thing. It could all be fixed by tweaking a few lines to imply that the Okinawans were waiting for years instead of weeks. The important point, Natsume's survival and eventual rescue, is in line with what was foreshadowed in the LNs and anime, so I'd accept it as canon. Not so. The WaSuYu anime vs LN are different, but it's nothing compared to the difference between the NoWaYu and KuMeYu LNs and anime. The differences between the LN and DMnS are so extreme that it's barely possible to extrapolate what happened in the parts of the anime's story that we didn't see based on the LNs. They always made sure that there were minimal differences excepting the WaSuYu LN, and up until DMnS there was no issue. The WaSuYus visit various places around town so that Sonoko may spy on the others for memo-worthy scenes. When they overhear Sekka and others discuss the time capsule project, the three worry that the YuYuYui world might end before they get it done at this rate. The 2.0 version includes some new features, but the most highlighted one is that you can now change the in-game language for the scenarios now. The translations are provided by the members of our great community and it is in progress, so not all scenarios are translated. You can check the settings page for this feature. There are many other features, and you can find these in the newly added Release Note page.

As always, builds for multiple systems are provided, but only the Windows version has been fully tested. You can download the update from the link below, or if you have already used an old version you can also download it from the Settings page. Your data and setup will keep working with the latest version.
