Ichigo went on to photography school where she met and developed feelings for Aberia, an alumna of St. Angraecum, which is explored in the upcoming drama CD. I started reading the first game in the series a few nights again and, wow, why didn't I read this sooner? This game has so many things I love in yuri: cute art, all girls school setting, shy bookworm gay girl who doesn't realize how gay she is. Suoh is so cute. I love how awkward she is trying to make friends. She reminds me a lot of myself and I just want to root for her. I want her to be happy. I think the game makes you do Mayuri route first although i'm more interested in Rikka.

No, like, what's even the point for them. It's not like they care about their reputation THAT much. It's been almost an entire calendar year. Everyone minus the fans had forgotten about the release. Hell, they hadn't even marketer Hiver, literally to the point of forgetting to make the trailer public on their own official YouTube channel. They don't care anymore. We're all going to suffer and die like an unfed stray dog without an owner.

It's actually already passed the year mark this time, I preordered hiver on 5/21/2022 and I'm not even sure if that was the first day the preorders went live. Preordered Autumne in February 2020 and it didn't ship until August that year so this is about twice as long already. My guess is they probably had most of it done except for whatever piece takes longer to manufacturer than the rest of the contents, which could cause the final packing to be delayed this much.

A long time ago, I asked the translator about the bit that plays before the title screen after you beat Printemps, that says "Repeated Spring/Transient friends with Amitie/Once again...calm days when the heart is at ease" because I thought it sounded weird. Apparently it was one of the parts that should have been redone (like everything else was), and picrel is what she says she would have gone with instead.

The top is a clean version of the pic in case anyone wants it because the game doesn't actually have a version of it without text.

Same.. sucks that people seem to hate Nerine for being anti-gay. It's a pretty natural reaction imo.

the writer of flowers @simizuhatumi retweeted that post where yuzuriha and nerine are mentioned, the truth is that Simizu sensei is very kind to the fans of flowers, she interacts a lot with them on twitter and sometimes leaves clues about her next works
>>

Everyone has the right to empathize with the character they want but definitely those who hate Nerine did not understand her character is by far one of the most complex, in addition there is also that much of the relevant information from the Nerine canon is given in the extras where it is delves deeper into the complexity of her emotions

Learning more and more about Yuzu and Neri, about how devilish Neri used to be and how frail and dependent Yuzu was all along, only made my love for their characters grow exponentially. Automne easily is my favorite chapter when it comes to character development and drama because of their unique relationship.

I never once saw Nerine as being legitimately anti-gay, just in denial and afraid about what her family might think.

It's even better in hindsight, like when Yuzu wants to wear the recitation dress (I think it was that) because it's cute.

>I never once saw Nerine as being legitimately anti-gay
There are multiple interpretational possibilities for Nerine's actions. She might be in denial, or believe herself unworthy of Yuzuriha's affection. Or she could genuinely just not be interested in girls romantically (until Yuzuriha properly grooms her of course).
But she does explicitly state her opposition to same-sex relationships in Automne, so it's sensible to quote her on that.
>Yuzu wants to wear the recitation dress (I think it was that) because it's cute.
She's truly the cutest...
>>
>>3969153
Yeah, all of that too, like she might be afraid of taking more from Yuzuriha than she already has. There's a lot it could be.

>explicitly states her
She can say something without believing it and only to keep appearances/propriety. All I'm saying is that I never once believed she actually meant it.
That she looks up at the crucifix before rejecting Yuzuriha's confession makes me believe her rejection is more than an independent personal bias. And then there's all the other plainly obvious gay relationships that don't phase her in the slightest.
>>
>>3969165
I actually agree, just wanted to bring up the opposite side of the argument.
>And then there's all the other plainly obvious gay relationships that don't phase her in the slightest
She *does* react weirdly in Printemps when she asks Suoh and Mayuri if they're going out. I got questioning, almost judging, vibes from her there.
And apart from that, she's never really shown interacting much with Erika and Chidori, the only other gay couple in the VN up to that point, in the first place.
>>
>>3969173
I must have forgotten that scene.
Darn, I guess I have to put in another 100 hours to read through them all again.
>>
>>3969153
As you say, that is open to interpretation, however, a mixture of everything is observed. Nerine was not able or "did not have the need" to clarify what she felt for Yuzuriha until she saw how Yuzuriha and Ringo relationship progressed.
First, she was so closed in her own world and religion for stabilizing her emotions (more information of her context in official fanbooks and Couleur artbook),Yuzuriha was a constant, never trembled the relationship until the moment of the confessionb plus her internal conflict due to pangs of conscience about how she had used yuzuriha's friendship when Neri was a inmature kid, in the The moment Yuzuriha confesses her love, the dam of past and present feelings, shared experiences and memories overflows.

Her love for Yuzuriha convinced her to radically abandon her dogmas and projects. It is known that Nerine had plans to live a life consecrated to God but decided to give herself to Yuzuriha and receive her unconditional love. Yuzuriha is a blessing in Neri life and not everyone has the courage that Nerine had to accept that blessing, to surrender to her heart and leave her comfort zone.
>>
>>3969082
She wrote Kudan no Folkore / The Curse of Kudan for SukeraSparo.
>>
>>3969077
ok that was very lol, however FLOWERS 20 opens the door for the series to evolve into a more adult story including exploring the sexual dynamics of the characters,In couple relationships, the sexual connection is present and important.
Now I imagine that Yuzuriha and Nerine that peak moment can be one of the most passionate I always perceived a lot of chemistry and tension between them, there is contained desire there.(fun fact: there is a chibi comic on the extras at the end of the automne game where Yuzuriha appears imagining herself under Nerine's orders, definitely... she's a botton XD).
Erika and Chidori I imagine a romantic and hilarious moment.
Mayuri and Suoh well... Mayuri somehow has to pay for the waiting and anguish that she put on Suoh XD.

It's in this scene (picrel) pretty early into Automne, and Neri is rather straightforward about her opposed feelings on the matter.

The Chinese fan community has managed to organize themselves to translate FLOWERS materials such as drama cds, why can't the English speaking community try the same? If we all put in a little effort, it can be achieved. I know there are partial translations of some drama cds and extra chapters, but if we organize ourselves, complete translations of texts can be achieved, as was the case of the drama cd "voie lactee", very grateful to who made it translation and transcription

the flowers discord was where a lot of the translations came from, but a lot of people left it recently over some d r a m a, which yes I'm still bitter about

Thank you for the context, it's a shame that the opportunity to translate Flowers content into English was missed by fans. It would be great if, beyond the D*sc*rd Group group, a fan base without conflicts took the initiative. Anyway, at this point, it will be easier learn Japanese hahahaa
>>
>>3969153
Except Nerine never stated anything herself, explicitly at least. For example, during that bathroom scene it might seem like she's implying it, but it was Yuzuriha who said the words. Nerine's reaction to that information was "Ah, you know me so well, Yuzuriha" because of course it's convenient for her. She's got to keep the status quo without doing anything, whether it's because she feels like she doesn't deserve Yuzu's affection, afraid of Yuzu's reaction to her version of the story and/or because she's acts like she's closeted but is unaware of it.

I think people who read Nerine as some kind of conniving manipulator...actually accept her version of history at face value. Remember, she views everything through the lens of her Christian worldview imposed on her by her father. Of course she'll disproportionately blame herself for the smallest stupidest shit. Like the "baptism" episode, which became a symbol of her transgressing her own beliefs, but for Yuzuriha it was, I'm absolutely sure, something like "eh, sounds fun, also." (Yuzu never comes off as truly religious, she treats the whole thing in a typical Japanese syncretic fashion.) Pretty much everything Nerine tells to her in that second confession scene receives "eh." reaction, because none of that is news for Yuzuriha with her eidetic memory. Frankly, none of what Nerine supposedly "did to her" hadn't been already present in Yuzu's life in some capacity. At worst, Nerine exacerbated those issues, but that's it.
>>
>>3969190
I'm astounded by the fact that so many people don't see it. It's so simple. That's pretty much what Yuzuriha had "promised' to Nerine when she confessed for the second time. It's something that Nerine hadn't been able to find in her own religious beliefs and faith. True salvation through accepting unconditional love, freedom from the shackles of the past and the guilt, and hope for a new different future. (Plus, Nerine was already questioning if it's right to blindly follow her father's road in Printemps, so Automne's ending seems to be the answer to that.)

I wonder how a sex scene by Hatsumi would look like. It appears that she's never worked on anything above all-age (well, Kudan is 15+, but still nothing explicit, only an implied sexual act and some bare skin; Flowers is basically the same in this regard). I have to wonder if it's simply a coincidence or her own choice to work on such projects.
>>
>>4001460
Suoh literally masturbates in, what was it, Automne?
>>
>>4001460
>Kudan
I feel so cheated that there wasn't a 3-way sex scene, even if implied stuff, in the true ending.
>>
>>4001548
Well, sure, Suoh does masturbate thinking about the night she spent in the library together with Mayuri (which adds to an already strong implication that they had sex that night). But it's done via sound (a few quiet moans) and lasts for half a minute at best, followed by a CG of her lying in bed being awfully rose-cheeked, with her hand hidden under the blanket.

So that's not what I'd really call a "sex scene". And since it's done mainly via sound, I'd say that it still has that air of plausible deniability to it. Not that I would want an explicit scene in Flowers specifically. I'm just mildly curious what would Hatsumi be able to cook.

also, i'm not forgiving yuzu for hurting erika
>>

It helps that we know she didn't really mean it, both the action I'm the library and the words in the chapel.
Yuzu is kind of put in a tough spot. Going against the Basquait family (who are implied to be helping she and Neri since the elopement) is essentially putting her whole life with Neri at risk. That she ultimately risks all that at the end is atonement enough imo.

Oh, that was me 100%. The ending felt incomplete to me due to that. I recommend listening to Voie Lactée to get your fill. It's post hiver, and the suomayu is very sweet.

I don't know why some people screech over the event in library so much. It was clearly an accident. Both of them were freaking out, and this was the result. She didn't mean to do it and had to leave quickly to avoid being discovered by a patrol. That's all there is to it.

But those words in the library... I'm sure she meant it. Not the form of it, but the content, the "I love you but I have no choice" part. And more than anything, it's her way of coping by telling herself that she doesn't care for them anymore, when in reality she still does.

I'm this anon from awhile back. Once I got the first ending I knew I wanted to stay away from the thread out of fear of spoilers. I've come back because I need to put my thoughts down somewhere after getting all the Bad Ends and Mayuri End of Hiver. I thought I had a good theory coming together on what was really going on but it's all out the window now. Bad End04 is really throwing me off.

now i'm questioning what was even real this entire time. Should I take clues from Bad Ends as being real? Are all the friends Suoh made even real? How could Rikka see her stepmother? Why did she sleep for 3 years? Why did she forget everyone? Does Mayuri really not age? For awhile i've been going back and forth on whether or not the explanation for everything is supernatural in origin or not but it has to be at this point. Also Mayuri end....that was Sister Basquiat's voice, right? I knew she was suspicious. My latest theory was she was Sayuri and Sion/Mayuri are the same person and are...reincarnating?...Cursed to repeat the same cycle at the school over and over again? At first I though that Sister Basquiat/Sayuri might have kidnapped Mayuri because she looks so much Sion but that doesn't explain why Mayuri is just going along with it. And I assume in the secret room in the library they found a body. Sayuri who killed herself, maybe? If that's the case then just who is Sister Basquiat? And there was someone in that wheelchair at the end, right? It couldn't have been Erika, there's no way she's the Goddess of Truth...right? I don't have a theory anymore so i'll just be along for the ride reading the rest of the endings

No replies to any of the questions above or even this post are needed I just don't have anywhere else to sort out my thoughts on this. I'll post again when I finish the whole thing and if I still have any questions after it's over.
>>
>>4023675
I won't answer your questions but you should think on how many of the other school mysteries had supernatural conclusions.

Alright had to come back after finishing Good End. Certainly not the explanation I was expecting but I suppose it works.
>At first I though that Sister Basquiat/Sayuri might have kidnapped Mayuri because she looks so much Sion but that doesn't explain why Mayuri is just going along with it.

I can't believe I was actually sort of on the right track about this part.

Pretty satisfied with the ending though. I know there are still 2 more endings to get and not all of my questions have been answered yet but i'm actually not in that big of a hurry to go get the other endings just yet. It's not like the ending blew me away with some truly out there twist I never expected but I think anything too crazy would have made the story worse. It was just satisfying in explaining what was going on the entire time with a few minor twists that in retrospect make sense. The history of the academy was pretty interesting.

I guess I can buy that Mayuri just really looks like Sion. Chidori sort of looked like them too. Really thought that part combined with Bad End04 was hinting at something supernatural but I guess not. I'm also sad that Sayuri did die. I figured they found her body in that room but I was really hoping it would be end up being something else. What a tragic story.

Well i'll be back again whenever I read the last endings. I won't wait too long but like I said i'm pretty satisfied with how things ended here and I feel like there isn't any major twist left to be revealed in the other endings.
>>
>>4027131
>why Mayuri went along with it
She's got mommy issues, abandonment issues, and fear of her own gayness. She came to the school to get away from her old mommy replacement and the scary gay feelings for her.
She got a new (temporary) mommy out of the deal, an out from the gay she was being forced to acknowledge in her relationship with Suoh, and a chance to leave Suoh before she (in her head) had any chance of being abandoned. Basically everything she thought she wanted.
>>
>>4023675
Bad End 4 is just Suoh going insane (and us together with her lol). Her going insane from rejection, her perception of Mayuri superimposing onto the image of her stepmother during a flashback, her recalling Yuzu's and Erika's recurring dreams she never had, falling into a coma for three years only to come back to... Yeah, holy shit.

As for why 3 years, it's a convenient development for the ending's plotline. All of her friends and classmates have graduated, so no one would recognize her or Mayuri. It's also spring and a new school year, so she gets a chance to "start anew".

>>4027152
It's not just mommy issues. It's pretty safe to say that it's family issues alongside mommy issues. She found something a foster family by the end of the whole story. Grand Finale spoiler: The way she intimately talks with Dalia about Iberis is one of the things which was signaling it in .

After 3 months and around 100 hours of reading every single line in the visual novels my time with this series and these characters have come to a close. (I still need to go through the translated stuff in the Mega folder. If there are translations for anything else other places that hasn't been brought up in this thread yet please let me know) And what an experience this all was. I'm sad that it's over and will really miss getting to spend time with these characters. Ending it with the main three girls singing the theme was a beautiful way to end the game. Suoh's singing voice is so pretty.

The positives:
+The series was an absolute masterpiece from an artistic perspective. The character designs all look amazing. The girls were so cute. I loved all the various costumes for the plays. The soundtrack was incredible. I'll definitely listen to it every once and awhile. There are some really great tracks. The background art was gorgeous.
+The characters. I really liked all of them. Some more than others but none I outright hated. There was some great character arcs in the series. I really liked Suoh in the first game. As I said above she reminded me a lot of myself and I was really rooting for her to make friends. Seeing her blossom and open up to the others really made me smile. I loved Erika too. Such a fun character. The evolution of her and Chidori's character and relationship from Summer onward was a highlight of the series. They steal every scene they're in. I don't even think post-Spring Rikka was that bad by the end. Sure I wish she'd shown a little more regret for the blackmail thing but the way she talks about waiting all 3 of them to be together in Winter shows that she did grow as a person over the following months. I wish Grand Finale had more scenes of the three of them but that kitchen scene was cute. So many other little scenes and moments I loved too but i'm at character limit and would be here all day if I listed them all.

Mixed Feelings:
-The mysteries. Some were interesting, some were not. Some were easy to figure, other times I had no idea what the right choices were. But they did grow on my over time. Before what happens at the end of Spring I thought I would have been fine if that part of the series didn't exist and it was just a school life yuri romantic comedy. But once there were hints of a larger mystery about the Academy itself I got more interested. The final reveal was alright, I guess. Sayori and Sion's story was incredibly tragic. That part genuinely made me sad. I have much more mixed feelings about the Allium reveal. I guess they wanted to keep it secret because of family reasons but throughout the games (especially in Winter) they acted like it was some sort of serious, dangerous, world-shaking secret that would be terrible for everyone if it got out. The secret house is like an hour's walk from the campus so it's unlikely that anyone would stumble upon it but if they did that would expose the whole thing. It seems really disrespectful that they just left Sayuri's body in that room the entire time. I really don't think there is a good explanation for that part. I'm glad she eventually got to be buried beside Sion. I've read through previous threads and have seen some people not like how Mayuri's reasoning for leaving was handled. And I can kind of understand why. However the thing I don't see people talking about is how obsessed Suoh became with her despite only knowing each other 3 months and being a couple for like 2 or 3 weeks at most. But countering that this is an a rich girl's school and that type of teenage girl is probably isn't going to be the most socially-well adjusted. As we see in each game all of the girls have some sort of mental scars. And maybe these teenage girls shouldn't be so good at solving all these complex mysteries so perfectly. But whatever. I can just accept it has to be that way for the story to work.

There's really nothing negative I have to say about the series. Sure there are some things that if I really wanted to nitpick I could. Like why didn't Suoh ever just try to find a way into that room on the other side of the wall that Mayuri was in? That thought never once occurs to her. It also didn't explain why Yatsushiro got knocked out by a member of the Basquiat family. I also remember back in Autumn after Yatsushrio solves the Wendigo thing it's briefly mentioned that a white shadow was spotted again but that never gets brought up after that and I thought it was going to be something important. or anything else I may think of in the future. I seriously could talk all day about this series. The twins were great comedy side characters, I really loved them. The upperclassmen had way more going on than I ever would have guessed before Autumn. I figured they were typical childhood friends but there a lot more emotional baggage going on there than I expected. Not sure how i'd rate individual games but the series as a whole is 9/10. Not perfect but really enjoyable thanks to a great cast of characters that makes me glad I invested the time to read it all. I hope to read it again someday and pick up on things I missed the first time now that I know the full story. I wish I knew Japanese so I listen to all the drama CDs and read all the stuff in the art books. Maybe one day. I hope they put out more stuff for the series for the 10th Anniversary and beyond. I'd love to know more about what the characters end up doing as adults, beyond just the university stuff.

>Yuzuriha's knock out
IIRC she accidentally came upon Iberis and Allium, the former panicked and bopped her on the head, thus they're indebted to Yuzu for keeping the entire thing quiet, and she elopes to the off campus manor after Automne. I pity her for knowing all about what happened to Mayuri while having to see Suoh so despondent the whole time.

>pick up on things I missed the first time
It's both sad and fun, like how Dahlia tells Suoh near the end of Printempsthat she should break up with Mayuri knowing that she will soon be disappearing or how in Ètè Yuzuriha expresses a quickly brushed by desire to wear the cute recitation dresses.

Glad to hear that you had such a good time with Flowers.
I can absolutely relate. Reading it genuinely made me happy, and I was devastated when it was time to say goodbye.
>Like why didn't Suoh ever just try to find a way into that room on the other side of the wall that Mayuri was in? That thought never once occurs to her.
Merely my speculation, but chances are that Suoh never truly believed that Mayuri was on the other side of the wall. She frequently hallucinates and questions her mental well-being throughout Hiver, and the thought that she might enter an empty room if she were to visit Mayuri could easily have scared her too much to muster up the courage. There's also that scene where a shadowy silhouette visits Suoh in that room, and the scene just cuts away from that encounter and never brings it up again.
Suoh's schizo arc was really well-done imo.
> I also remember back in Autumn after Yatsushrio solves the Wendigo thing it's briefly mentioned that a white shadow was spotted again but that never gets brought up after that and I thought it was going to be something important.
Genuinely don't remember that.

>>
>>4029468
>>4029397
Suoh did have an urge to chase Mayuri during their first "meeting" though, but she was all but paralyzed. The second meeting was extremely brief and they did not exchange all that many words beyond Mayuri warning her, which paralyzed Suoh for the second time, now with fear. There's also a third one, and it's the most peculiar. I'll talk about it later.

More importantly, if you remember her though process after the first encounter, then it becomes relatively clear why she didn't do anything of the sort. At first, her train of thought starts to go to "Mayuri said those words [to forget about her] for my sake" destination, but then she abruptly cuts herself and goes "No—the Goddess of Truth made her say them". She still operates under illusion that whatever Mayuri did (leaving her so suddenly) or is doing right now is being directly controlled by some kind of malicious actor (the Goddess/Tulpa/whatever). If we assume that this premise is true, that would mean that Mayuri really didn't say those words of her own volition. In this case, trying to brute-force the whole thing would be risking to provoke that malicious actor and losing Mayuri forever. Regardless of how much she wants to get her back, Suoh would never do anything rash that could potentially hurt Mayuri and destroy the chance of them reuniting.
>>
>>4030067
(cont.)
But even more importantly, I think it's pretty clear that as the story progresses, Suoh becomes more and more disillusioned bit by bit, even if that process is excruciatingly slow. It's like tiny cracks are appearing on her shell. During the third meeting even she herself asks "But why are we avoiding facing each other directly if, supposedly, we want to be with each other so much?". Suoh and Mayuri are written like each other's mirrors. Mayuri doesn't want to face Suoh because that would mean coming out about her lie. Suoh wants Mayuri back, but deep down she is deathly afraid to accept reality (Mayuri did simply leave her and the whole "someone hurting Mayuri and making her suffer" is a fantasy of her own making). Even earlier, during the Oz recital, she gets an onslaught of memories regarding her father and her namesake flower. That entire story encapsulates her current attitude towards Mayuri better that anything else; just as she didn't wish to upset and hurt her father, her desire for truth was insatiable, so instead of using direct measures she just circles around the issue and tries to find strange roundabout ways to uncover the truth. Maybe more importantly, I feel like the strongest implication here is that she actually doesn't want to hear the painful truth directly from people she loves, from her father and from Mayuri. On a subconscious level, without realizing it. Hence her indirect, extremely avoidant approach.
>>
>>4030069
(fin)
Sure, in an isolated scenario Suoh should have rushed into that room and gotten Mayuri's butt by force. But she would never do that kind of thing at this point in the story because of her delusion. Making her do that would be tantamount to prioritizing plot for its own sake and ignoring Suoh's previous deeply established characterization and story's themes.

It's also worth talking about which event finally cracked that shell and broke Suoh's delusion. Her finding Sayuri's remains. Not the remains themselves, of course, but the abrupt, shocking realization that it wasn't something horrifying (actual murder at the academy), but at the same time still something truly, deeply shocking (Sayuri ended her own life of her own volition by making a choice; just as Mayuri made a choice to never tell Suoh anything before leaving her—yes, it's not "why did she leave Suoh", but why she did not tell Suoh that she was going to leave her question which ultimately matters).

All this time Suoh tried to look at a situation from multiple perspective, but the only pair of those proverbial "shoes" she failed to walk in is, ironically, Mayuri's.

To quote a certain silver-haired werewolf, "People only see what they want to see". And I have an extremely strong suspicion that this phrase was addressed directly to Suoh at that moment.
>>
>>4030074
(more Hiver spoilers)
I don't think that I need to articulate that there's no Suoh's real fault in any of this. She simply tried to cope with her loss and process/reconstruct reality the only way she was taught by adults. And I really do believe that this entire experience of separation made her love for Mayuri and Mayuri's yearning for her only stronger. What had once started as a completely ordinary fleeting teenage experience (thank you stepmom for being real for once) has bloomed into something truly incredible that will probably last for a lifetime. But, as evident from Hiver, Suoh wouldn't have made it without her friends, especially without Erika and Rikka. And it's Rikka who basically tells her at the end of Chapter 6 (right before Cendrillon) something like "Girl, no one is going to bite you if you finally just ask Mayuri to become your girlfriend again; simply accept the fact that she left you and lied to you about it, but also accept the fact that you still want her by your side despite all of that. It's not a goddamn detective novel. Just ask her out again, do not be afraid." (autistic TL from Rikkanglish to English)

Justice for Rikka.

I mean, I exaggerate for comedic effect with "based" and "retarded", but here are my impressions. Regardless of their more impressive numbers (for an obvious reason), they appear to be more self-organized and enthusiastic about translating supplementary content way ahead of the English-speaking fandom, creating quality fanart, writing fanfiction, etc.

But they also appear to be weirdly "militant" with regards to silly nonsense like, for example, canon ships.
I feel as if more than half of negative Hiver reviews on Steam in Chinese are screeching like mad about "WTF WHY DOES SUOH "FLIRT" WITH ERIKA???!! FUCK YOU SHIMIZU HATSUMI YOU'VE RUINED MY ENTIRE LIFE". It feels like some kind of weird idol otaku type of behavior.
Those are really good points, thank you for the lengthy reply.
It's been a while since I've read Flowers myself, so some of those plot points are already fading in my memory.
I do believe that Hiver left a lot open for interpretation; two bad endings in particular don't exactly make sense if you take them literally without considering Suoh's frail state of mind.
Speaking of endings (and Rikka), one thing I think a lot of readers might've missed are the romantic implications of Rikka's ending in Hiver.
The flower Suoh is asking her to raise together being a lily, whose japanese name literally is "yuri", cannot be a coincidence. I am absolutely certain that *this* was a hidden good Rikka ending, even if they didn't say it out loud.

Rikka is love, Rikka is life

Appreciate the response and analysis of Suoh's character in Hiver. The thing i'm left wondering about now is Was Mayuri even in that room? Was that all in Suoh's head? One of the drama CDs said Mayuri had been living in the mansion the entire time. So I thought she only came back to leave Suoh the message on the painting during summer. Wasn't the second hookman that was mentioned Mayuri and Dalia's whole fake out collapse was to keep Erika and the twins from running into her because Dalia figured out Mayuri was coming to school at night? But if she really was in the room then why was she there? Had she been living in that room at least part of the time or coming to campus on a regular basis? It seems risky to allow her to come to school in case she got spotted, even if she only moved around at night and was cloaked. Especially after the hookman thing. All that got me thinking that maybe it all was in Suoh's head. The first time she heard Maryuri's voice she was getting really desperate for answers. The next time a shadowy figure appears that was implied to be in Suoh's head and the scene just ends there. And then the other time when Mayuri's voice said the same thing that Yuzuriha had told her about the snake. I thought her seeing her stepmother was the only thing she was imagining but now I wonder what else wasn't real.Maybe i'm just overthinking, missed some detail, or it was left ambiguous
