This causes Fortuna to turn fallen.At the end of the event Spuria realizes her hand in the death. Rather than taking Fortuna back to Laterano for any punishment she lets her go with the sarkaz to make a new settlement, a move that gets her in hot water with higher ups. Despite being a shut-in type character, Spuria frequently requests leave from Rhodes Island so she can go visit Fortuna and make sure she's safe, under the guise of "monitoring" her. Spuria's profile and module story go more into her relationship with Lemuen. Their dynamic was basically "delinquent who refuses to go to class" and "student authority figure who repeatedly tries to fix the delinquent".

Honestly thought the event was sadly of mediocre. I was looking forward to more Rhine lesbian development but oh my goddd so much screentime is taken up by doctor wankery it's ridiculous. I'm so so tired of self insert nonsense, no we don't need multiple event characters hanging out with that absolute husk of a character for 70% of the story. Mumu and Saria interact like 3 times total across the ENTIRE thing.Very tragic. Arknights really would be like 3x better if they ditched the dumbass mandatory self insert character. It's getting hard to stomach the constant omg the doctor is so special because of <vague bullshit we'll probably never explain> every other event or so. There are already plenty of compelling characters in the core cast anyway.

A future Rhine Lab event is still probably going to happen since the devs like to make alters to continue various character storylines, and a brawler Saria is almost inevitable. There's going to be a big opportunity for more Saria/Silence stuff going forward.But it probably won't be coming anytime soon since most stories in CN are building up toward all out war between Leithania and Kazimierz, plus a possible Victorian invasion of Kjerag by the duke of Caster. And that's on top of the whole threat of demon-aliens in the north that have to be dealt with before Endfield can even begin its backstory in the future.

arknights is a pretty big IP, and their animated PVs look really good, so it's kinda baffling how mediocre the animation for the anime is. from the directing to the framing to the actual animation everything is an inconsistent mess

The anime is made by Yostar Pictures, which is of course connected to the game's publisher in all regions except for China itself, which is handled by Hypergryph directly. Yostar is the one that also makes the 30 second animated shorts that are released with each event's JP release.Yostar clearly doesn't respect the same focus on quality and detail, but Hypergryph also probably doesn't care either way since it is not an investor-driven project unlike most other anime. They are probably content with having any sort of anime at all so they can push more merch sales.
