Who knows how many hours in and I only just now learned that melee skill training is EXTREMELY dependent on having an enemy of a decent level to fight against. The great irony of this is that the first instinct when playing a hybrid character is to use your nonscarce melee attacks to kill chaff and your valuable spells to kill strong enemies, but the EXP formula sadistically wants you to do the opposite. Spells don't care about the level of what you cast it at, while melee attacks grow very quickly if you're willing to go toe to toe against high leveled boss monsters, and are slow as fuck to level if you don't.

I think domains are cool but don't like how heavily they weigh the drop pool.
